Osama Incites Jihad in Darfur

Bin Laden calls for jihad in Darfur
DUBAI (Reuters) - Al Qaeda leader Osama bin Laden urged his followers to prepare for a long war against Western would-be occupiers in Sudan’s Darfur region, according to an audiotape attributed to him which aired on Sunday.

For well over a year Bush and co. have been begging, waiting, pleading for NATO to take a proactive role. Bush has tried  pulling a kicking and screaming NATO into action but to no avail...........the UN, the world stands by by as hundreds of thousand of Christians and moderate Muslims get slaughtered or sold into slavery everyday.

Good job Georgie Porgie on bringing it to the American people and telling them what's really been going on in Darfur. Shame on you. Darfur is not a marketing tool for you to bolster you failing career. You got your five minutes and moved on? yech.

The thugs over at CAIR (Council of Islamic Relations) have begun a smear campaign against those fighting for Darfur because they weren't included. Invite CAIR? Why not invite the Nazi party to Holocaust Remembrance day? The Sudan Genocide is a jihad, has CAIR ever spoken out against the jihad?  What has CAIR said against Islamofascists committing these heinous crimes? Not a damn thing. Here is the CAIR NEWSLETTER;

True agenda? Are they for real? The organizers are ex slaves. The organizers excaped  the killing fields. Their "true agenda" is to save lives. The real question is, what is CAIR's real agenda?. It can't be a coincidence that Bin Laden is calling for the genocide to continue and CAIR's known affiliation with terrorist organizations.

(WASHINGTON, DC, 4/30/2006) - The Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) today questioned why no representatives of major American Muslim groups are listed as speakers at the Save Darfur Coalition "Rally to Stop Genocide" this afternoon in Washington, D.C.

CAIR and other American Muslim groups, including the Islamic Society of North America, the Islamic Circle of North America, the Muslim Public Affairs Council, and the Muslim American Society Freedom Foundation, are members of the coalition. But no representative from these, or any Muslim coalition member, is listed on the latest rally program. (Several Muslims will speak, but they do not represent Islamic groups that are coalition members.)

Thank G-d, maybe they want to keep it terror free. THERE ARE MUSLIMS SPEAKING, JUST NOT THOSE WITH TERROR CONNECTIONS.

The Washington Post reported that rally organizers "rushed this week to invite two Darfurians to address the rally after Sudanese immigrants objected that the original list of speakers included eight Western Christians, seven Jews, four politicians and assorted celebrities -- but no Muslims and no one from Darfur."

The ex slaves are from Darfur! And you just wrote that several Muslims will speak " but they do not represent Islamic groups that are coalition members" -  who would you like Hamas?

Earlier this month, after noticing the lack of Muslim speakers on the program, CAIR wrote to rally organizers asking to have a representative speak at the rally. The Save Darfur Coalition never replied to CAIR's letter, despite the fact that the Washington-based Islamic civil liberties group is an original signatory of the coalition's founding "Unity Statement."

"It is unfortunate that the Save Darfur Coalition chose not to list any mainstream American Muslim groups in the rally program," said CAIR Executive Director Nihad Awad. "This disturbing omission calls into question the coalition's true agenda at the rally."

Is CAIR on a smear campaign because Muslims' Plight in Sudan Resonates With Jews in U.S.

Simon Deng ends the walk today in DC, I was hoping to be able to cover the rally (which began and was poorly attended in NY) but the kid's two travel soccer games are mandatory and I haven't been able to juggle to get them there and be in DC. The U.N. food agency said Friday that it is cutting rations in half for about 3 million refugees in Sudan's war-ravaged Darfur region because of a shortage of money, calling it ``scandalous'' that it has to stretch out supplies while it pleads for funds.

So I put on my rose colored glasses to march for Freedom. But I couldn't find the rally

I almost leave and a come upon a small group. That's us in the photo right (I am standing next to ex-slave Simon Deng) the voice of Sudan Freedom walk. 21 days for the people of Sudan - from New York City to Washington, DC

Thankfully, the crowd beings to grow, but it is depressingly small for a "Walk to End Injustice"

No big media. Charles Jacobs said, if this was done by the West, by white men, there would be thousands here.

Crowd maxed at 60-80 people, but the ex-slaves telling their harrowing stories was sickening. That the media pays it minimal lip service says speaks volumes to their moral bankruptcy.

It would replace the 53-country Geneva-based UN Human Rights Commission, which in recent years has included some of the world's most notorious rights violators.

US Ambassador John Bolton told the assembly that rules for the new council were too weak to prevent rights violators from obtaining seats.

Former NBA player and Dinka tribesman Manute] Bol and his best friend went to over 39 Congressmen personally and met with the Pentagon in the 90's telling them that their people were being decimated by the Arab Muslims from the North and would disappear if the US did not help. He said they got nothing.

...So Manute reached into his own pockets in the millions to help support the starving refugees who had witnessed their homes and families destroyed.

...The postscript is that Bol is broke and that some former NBA friends held a benefit to raise $$ for his huge Health bills after a drunk Cab Driver flipped a car Bol was in. hat tip Kahn

SUDAN FREEDOM WALK: WALK TO END INJUSTICE, GENOCIDE AND MODERN SLAVERY Noon United nations

The Sudan Freedom Walk Campaign was initiated by Simon Deng, a Sudanese man captured into slavery as a child in Sudan. He later escaped bondage and now resides in New York City, but travels often to spread awareness about modern slavery and the atrocities facing the people of Sudan. The goal of Freedom Walk is  to free the 40 million people in Sudan from the treacherous policies perpetrated by the Government of Kartoum. This Government has been party to human trafficking, torture, ethnic cleansing, genocide, international terrorism, as well as numerous other human rights violations and injustices.

UPDATE: Sudan closes offices of rights group Reuters

EL-GENEINA, Sudan (Reuters) - The Sudanese human rights organization SUDO said on Wednesday the West Darfur authorities had closed down three of its offices because it did not like its work overcoming divisions in the troubled region.

An anti-war group that belongs to the umbrella organization United for Peace and Justice (UPJ) has announced that it intends to topple the Bush administration during a March 15 Washington, D.C. protest.

"TAKE THE WHITE HOUSE BY STORM, Stop Genocide, Torture and Occupation."

The message goes on to explain:
"We will not allow the Slave Holders that Still Prevail in this Country to Rule us any longer . . . The Administration is Criminal and if they will not step down, we must storm in, show them how many of us do not accept a criminal government."
