There is an all-out attack on Israel being perpetrated by Obama's America. No country is more open, equal, and democratic in the Middle East and the world (save America B.O. [before Obama]) than Israel.
This is another Islamic libel against the Jews. There is no pluralism in islamic countries. No freedom of religion. Honor Killings, clitorectomies, forced marriages, child marriages, Christian persecutions, beheadings, the evil list is endless. This is shameful.
The 2009 International Religious Freedom Report issued by the U.S. State Department says Israel is not a tolerant society. The report, issued last week, accuses Israel of "governmental and legal discrimination against non-Jews and non-Orthodox streams of Judaism." It charges that "Some individuals and groups committed abusive and discriminatory practices against Israeli-Arab Muslims, evangelical Christians, and Messianic Jews at the same elevated level." Its criticism includes citing the case of three Messianic Jews being denied citizenship under the Right of Return. It also charged that, "While the law safeguards the 'holy places of all religions,' the Government provides significantly greater levels of legal protection and government resources to Jewish holy places than to those of other religious groups and to Orthodox Jews over non-Orthodox Jews."
So now we serve at the pleasure of Islamic jihad. More! Faster! Faster, dogs! I can hear them now ...
What's interesting is that this poll is being disseminated inside government agencies at all levels as the holy grail. Who gives a fig what jihad wants? Polls, no less.

Palestinians Not Convinced U.S. Will Deliver
Prior to President Obama’s June 4 speech in Cairo, residents of the Palestinian Territories were overwhelmingly dissatisfied with U.S. involvement in the peace process, and many doubted the U.S. commitment to an independent and viable Palestinian state. Pressure on Israel to cease settlement construction was one of several actions respondents pointed to that could help rebuild both U.S. image and credibility among Palestinians.
In an April-May Office of Opinion Research survey, over 80 percent of Palestinians were dissatisfied with current U.S. involvement in the Arab-Israeli peace process. Even larger majorities considered Washington biased toward Israel in negotiations, and believed the United States did not treat Palestinians with respect (Appendix Tables 7, 10-12). Half the public also saw the appointment of Special Envoy Mitchell as a negative development; only a third saw it in positive light.
In some cases, Palestinian disapproval of the United States actually broadened since fall 2008. The proportion who agreed that the creation of an independent and viable Palestinian state is a U.S. goal dropped from 43 to 29 percent. Similarly, the number who said the United States treats Palestinians with respect fell from 21 to 13 percent (Appendix Tables 12-13). Overall, four-in-ten Palestinians in the recent survey said their opinion of U.S. peace involvement had worsened recently. In explaining this shift, most respondents gave general reasons, such as U.S. bias toward Israel and hostility toward Arabs.1 Underscoring Palestinian distrust of Washington’s intentions, 90 percent believed the United States seeks to weaken and divide the Islamic world and 92 percent said the United States aims to expand the geographic borders of Israel. Steps to Improve U.S. Image
Despite these negative views, only a third (35%) thought the United States should limit its involvement in the peace process. Half (53%) believed the United States should do more. This suggests that Palestinians still looked to the United States to help achieve peace.
Respondents were asked if specifc steps would improve their image of the United States. A number of actions appeared to have potential to reshape attitudes toward the United States and its role in the peace process (Figure 1, next page). Pressure on Israel to stop settlements and to continue negotiations, and increasing aid to the Palestinians were the most frequently cited steps that would positively impact U.S. image.
A second tier of U.S. steps included: hosting talks, reaffirming support for pre-1967 borders, or affirming East Jerusalem as the capital of a future Palestinian state.
Saudi Arabia, Jordan Applauded Besides the United States, the April-May survey asked about other possible players in the peace process. About three-quarters of the Palestinian public favored the regional and peace-process activities of Saudi Arabia and Jordan—countries with close religious and historical ties to the Palestinian territories.
The Muslims in Gaza are happy with Turkey. It seems the step toward pure Islam and a militant Prime Minster Erdogan are just what the imam ordered.
Positive on Turkey, Down on Egypt
Most Palestinians also registered satisfaction with Turkey’s regional activity and peace process involvement (70%). This support may have partly resulted from Turkish mediation on the Syria-Israel track. While Palestinian satisfaction with Syria’s peace efforts stood at 59 percent, only 41 percent of the public supported Egypt’s peace-process involvement (down substantially from 60 percent in fall 2008). These findings may have reflected a combination of Cairo’s perceived complicity in Israel’s Gaza incursion, its refusal to open the Rafah border, and its counter-smuggling efforts.
How The Poll Was Conducted: This report is based on an Office of Opinion Research-commissioned survey of Palestinians in the West Bank, East Jerusalem, and Gaza Strip. Face-to-face interviews were conducted by a reputable local research firm among a representative sample of 2,000 adult Palestinians, age 18 and up. Fieldwork was conducted from April 27 to May 19, 2009. The questions were written by the Office of Opinion Research and translated by the research firm that carried out the fieldwork. The margin of error for this survey is approximately +/-3%.
What in heaven's name is the State department doing? This is a freak
show. When, at any time, did the State department put itself to work in
the advancement of Christianity, Judaism, Hinduism, Buddhism, or in the
service of a violent ideology, i.e., Nazism?

On September 11, the State department sent out an invitation to
employees from the South Asian-American Employee Association (SAAEA)
for a screening of the film "What Billion Muslims Really Think," which
will be aired on broadcast television on Spring 2010. The actual
premiere was in June, and all employees at the State department got an
invitation to attend that screening as well.
Below is the "Department Notice" announcing the film event of September
14 that took place at the Acheson auditorium. Acheson is the largest
auditorium at main State.
Afterward, everyone was invited to the Iftar dinner at the Delegates Lounge.
It is increasingly clear that the Department of State does not represent the United States.

office and its aim is to reach not just audiences abroad, but Muslim and

1. This is an action request (Para 4). The Department
encourages posts to consider organizing an Interfaith Day
of Service in their host countries as a way to commemorate
the anniversary of the tragic events of September 11,
2001.
2. President Obama called for interfaith service to foster
collaboration between people across the world in his Cairo
speech: "Indeed, faith should bring us together. And
that's why we're forging service projects in America to
bring together Christians, Muslims, and Jews. Around the
world, we can turn dialogue into interfaith service, so
bridges between peoples lead to action -- whether it is
combating malaria in Africa, or promoting relief after a
natural disaster."
3. Interfaith service has been an inextricable part of
Americans' dedication to serving others, which as early as
1831 was identified as a distinctive American
characteristic by Frenchman Alexis de Tocqueville. In
State 77580, Secretary Clinton specifically encouraged
Department of State employees to support President Obama's
domestic United We Serve campaign that embraces this
tradition of community service. By participating in an
Interfaith Day of Service, posts have the unique
opportunity to expand the domestic commemoration of 9/11
as the National Day of Service and Remembrance -- as
signed into law by President Obama on April 21, 2009 --
into a global initiative.
4. ACTION REQUEST: Posts are encouraged to plan an
Interfaith Day of Service to commemorate 9/11 that would
send a message of goodwill, cooperation, and shared
interest to their host countries and their religious
communities. To accommodate posts in countries where
Muslims may be observing Ramadan until/about September 19,
posts are requested to plan an Interfaith Day of Service
between September 11 and October 18, 2009. We encourage
you to bring together leaders of different religious
backgrounds and identify jointly a priority project. Those
leaders would encourage their members to join mission
employees and resident Americans in working together on a
community project. We request that posts keep their
regional bureaus informed of their 9/11 commemoration
plans so that the information can be made available to
interested USG officials and agencies.
5. Sustainability is a key theme of President Obama's
United We Serve campaign and Secretary Clinton's remarks
at the Global Philanthropy Forum where she announced the
appointment of the Special Representative for Global
Partnerships (S/GPI) and described the Department's role
as a convener, catalyst, and collaborator by fostering
public-private partnerships with groups such as
faith-based organizations. The Interfaith Day of Service
is an opportunity for posts to expand their contact bases,
initiate long-term partnerships with civil society, and
spread goodwill in observing September 11, 2001. Some
programming ideas and suggestions are listed in paragraph
six, however posts are encouraged to be creative based on
the needs, religions/sects, and opportunities in their
country.
6. Programming Ideas
- Meet with interfaith leaders or an interfaith
organization before the Interfaith Day of Service to
identify a local development issue. For example,
Interfaith Youth Core and Tony Blair's Faith Foundation
collaboratively identified malaria as a problem in Africa
and supported a service project for youth to raise funds
and show the film "The Story of a Bed Net" in their faith
communities.
- Form local partnerships:
- Organize a food-drive for the end of Ramadan with
religious leaders and citizens in Muslim communities to
donate to a local mosque or community, such as this
activity in Dubai in 2008:
- Partner with universities or secondary schools to
organize a day of awareness-raising, school clean-up, park
rehabilitation, or a donation drive that includes students
from different faith traditions.
- Work with the Red Cross/Red Crescent or a local hospital
to promote the giving of blood and partner with different
religious leaders to involve their congregations.
- Organize a free music workshop for a neighborhood where

musicians from different faiths can share their
traditions. This event could be a good way to promote a
longer term arts education project, for example.
- Set up an interfaith sports competition for youth that
includes interfaith teams and incorporates skill-building
activities.
- Organize a writing competition at a local school on
respect for people of all faiths.

Washington, D.C. - On September 25th there will be a national prayer gathering of Muslims on the west front of the U.S. Capitol Building. They are expecting at least 50,000 to attend from mosques all across America. They will gather to pray from 4:00 AM until 7:00 PM. The gathering will take place by the site where U.S. Presidents have been inaugurated since 1981. The organizers say that it was Obama's inauguration speech in January and his speech broadcast from Egypt in June that gave them the idea for this prayer gathering on Capitol Hill.

Perhaps President Barack Obama, like Don Corleone in "The
Godfather," believed he should "keep your friends close and your
enemies closer" when he named Hillary Clinton as his secretary of
state, but she is anything but. It’s not that Hillary is in the
backseat. I am not sure she is even in the trunk (or the car for that
matter). Clinton has been relegated to the fringe of irrelevancy in the
Obama administration. Richard Holbrooke, Samantha Power, and even Bill
Clinton are doing more of the real work.
Meanwhile, take a look at what your silly secretary of state is
doing while the world teeters on the brink of impending disaster.
Pathetic. She served as guest of honor at the National Women’s Day
dinner. No joke. She is not functioning as secretary of state, but as
world secretary of health and human services. And she visited a housing
project in South Africa, where she said she was “thrilled to be back to
see what’s been done” since she last visited the Cape Town development
in 1997.
“Thrilled to be back to see what’s been done.” Oh, yes, let’s
take a look at South Africa and see what has been done, and how Hillary
played house with perpetrators of mass slaughter and corruption. The
South African government is corrupt, racist, and born from communist
ideals. The African National Congress (ANC) has been South Africa’s
governing party, allied with the Congress of South African Trade Unions
(COSATU) and the South African Communist Party (SACP) since the
establishment of non-racial democracy in 1994. The ANC calls itself a
“disciplined force of the left.”
Perhaps this is an initiative of President Barack Obama's newly created Office for Outreach to the Ummah
at State. In June Obama had the Secretary-General of the Organization
of the Islamic Conference, Ekmeleddin Ihsanoglu, at the White House.
Ihsanoglu urged Obama to appoint a U.S. ambassador to the Islamic world
- and Obama immediately created a new State Department Office for
Muslim Outreach, with a Muslim woman, Farah Pandith, serving as the new
U.S. Special Representative for Muslim Outreach. In keeping with
Obama's U.S.-Muslim Engagement Project, a charter of dhimmitude, we are
to be conditioned to respect Muslim immigrants and accept their
culture.
Obama
appears to be more than comfortable with this deal with the devil as he
abets the institution of an Islamo-Christian ethic, which would destroy
the very foundation of this great country. Never mind that Muslims
persecute Christians in every country they finally dominate. That is of
no importance.
Why
is this immense effort necessary? We act as if we were a slave of the
Muslim world. This sickness of licking the boots of an ideology that

17. Speakers from the U.S. Speaker, Strategic Speaker,
and Citizen Dialogue programs will be heading to some 12
countries to discuss issues such as tolerance, Islam in
America, and civic responsibility during Ramadan.
Unfortunately, due to programming and funding deadlines,
additional programs requiring speaker travel are not
possible. We encourage Posts to plan early in the year so
that we may accommodate requests.

Back in October of 2008, before BHO was elected, I posted a video of one of Obama's closest advisers, Samantha Power, calling for a military invasion of Israel (here). Power's anti-Jewish racism became so hot, she was forced to resign. Of course that was not the reason given. If you remember, it was said that Power resigned from Obama's election campaign because of a caustic comment she made about Hillary Clinton. Power called Clinton a monster. Oh yeah, Power is a real piece of .....work.
Clearly Power and Clinton are not ....fond of each other. Could you see these two have at it? Ouch. It would make Ali vs Frasier look like little girl playground kerfuffle.
President Obama is pleased to announce that Samantha Power, Senior Director for Multilateral Affairs and Human Rights at the National Security Council in the White House, will coordinate the efforts of the many parts of the U.S. government on Iraqi refugees and internally displaced persons (IDPs), including the Department of State, U.S. Agency for International Development, Department of Homeland Security, and Department of Defense.
Do you feel safer now? I mean really - look who is driving the bus.
Perhaps Obama wanted to "keep his friends close and your enemies closer" when he named Clinton as his Secretary of State, but she is anything but. Clinton has been relegated to the fringe of irrelevancy in the Obama Administration. Holbrooke, Samantha Powers, and Bill Clinton are doing more of the real work.
The US has become a joke on the world stage. The Obama presidency is imploding. Duck the shrapnel.
As for Clinton, she is not going the distance as Secretary of State. It's just a matter of time. I suspect she'll resign in a year or so, distance herself from the disastrous President, and run for President herself.
SECRETARY CLINTON: Well, there is no doubt that the ongoing conflict
makes the problem worse. Unfortunately, we have seen in the late 20th century
and now in this century a terrible trend of using sexual and gender-based
violence as a tool of war to intimidate and demoralize populations and to force
them to flee their homes.
And I think this is going to take a concerted
effort from the Congolese Government as well as other governments in the region
who have interests in the DRC. It’s going to take NGOs and civil society. It has
to start with making sure that the military of the DRC does not engage in any
sexual and gender-based violence, and there has to be no impunity for anyone who
does, and there has to be an effort to cut off the funding for the militias and
resolve the underlying political tensions in the east.
But sexual
violence is a problem across the country, as it is in many countries, and there
have to be stronger laws against domestic violence, against criminal rape that
happens on the street of Kinshasa or any other city. There has to be strong
prosecution and law enforcement and judiciary actions to make it clear that this
is unacceptable, that there is no excuse for it. And that’s what I hope we will
see.
QUESTION:And what in practical terms can the government of
the United States do to help this problem?
SECRETARY CLINTON:
Well, we are trying to do several things. We’re working, of course, with the
United Nations and we’re the largest supporter of the United Nations
peacekeeping forces in eastern Congo. And there was a report that just came out
which said that the problems that might have existed before in terms of gender
and sexual-based violence among UN troops has been cleaned up. We are working
with President Kabila’s government and the Congolese military to try to train
and imbue human rights and respect for the rights of women in the military. And
of course, we are providing healing and health services to those women who are
victims.
So here we have the Secretary of State cum Health and Human Services visiting hospitals, home building and such, while the world is a tinderbox.
Why this exchange is so extraordinary is because the UN peacekeepers that Hillary is "counting on" and lauding are guilty of these terrible sex crimes.
This has been going on for years. I have been reporting on
it as long as I have been blogging (2005). This is the most depraved
breach of trust. We underwrite 22% of this cesspool of criminality.
When does someone take control and put an end to the evil of the UN.
Sexual abuse of children as young as six by aid workers and United
Nations peacekeepers has continued unchecked despite repeated promises
to stamp it out, according to a 12-month investigation. More than half
of the children interviewed in three countries, Ivory Coast, South
Sudan and Haiti, knew of cases of forced sex with aid staff or
peacekeepers.
The assaults were often in return for the very food or protection supposed to be provided to the vulnerable in a crisis.
It's not that Hillary is in the backseat. I am not sure she is even in the trunk (or the car for that matter). Yesterday she was playing house in South Africa, making sure to avoid the SA genocide, corruption, and highest crimes rates in the world. But she gave the contemptible ANC (the ruling communist party in South Africa) a happy face.
Despite the signing of peace accords in 2003, fighting continues in the
east of that country. In eastern Congo, the prevalence of rape and other
sexual violence is described as the worst in the world.[4] The war is the world's deadliest conflict since World War II, killing 5.4 million people.
North Korean nukes, Iran nukes, bloodshed in the streets of Iran, the Chavez backed Zelaya coup .... nothing Hillary worries her not so pretty little head about. What's for lunch?

And it’s a great tribute to his mother and to the values that she raised him with.

US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton yesterday ended an upbeat visit to South Africa by dropping in on a housing scheme where she and her daughter Chelsea laid the first bricks 12 years ago.
Clinton
said she was "thrilled to be back to see what's been done" since she
visited the Victoria Mxenge housing project on the outskirts of Cape
Town in 1997, returning a year later to lay more bricks with President Bill Clinton.
"Thrilled to be back to see what's been done". Oh, yes, let's take a look at South Africa and see what's been done, while Hillary plays house with perpetrators of mass slaughter and corruption.
The South African government is very corrupt, racist, and born from communist ideals. The African National Congress (ANC) has been South Africa's governing party, supported by its tripartite alliance with the Congress of South African Trade Unions (COSATU) and the South African Communist Party (SACP), since the establishment of non-racial democracy in April 1994. It defines itself as a "disciplined force of the left".
The Boer farmers in South Africa are on Genocide Watch.org Alert, which is why SA is silent on Mugabe's slaughter of the farmers in Zimbabwe. The ANC has the same designs as Mugabe. Bye bye, "bread basket".
Further, the South African infrastructure is collapsing, electricity is failing constantly, hospitals are wrecked.

there were a disproportionate amount of whites being murdered in SA-so ANC
stopped reporting race of victims of murder-so there is no way to track if
murders are race based. Problem solved. Bad PR for it to get out that there
are a bunch of whites being slaughtered in the Rainbow Nation. Now the crime
problem is not limited to whites, as victims as many black South Africans are
brutally murdered, too. The violent crime in SA is out of control -- and
conviction rate of criminals is pathetic.
Crime statistics in South Africa are among the
highest in the world. This is a fact that ANC has done their best to keep hush
hush with the upcoming World Cup in 2010. Rape stats in
SA are number one worldwide.

51 per day.

and see your community (an ANC coordinated propaganda
tour) I first went to one of your sister communities back in 1997. And I
saw the hard work that was building the houses and giving people a better life
(HA, SA more dangerous to live in than Iraq during the
insurgency war-death rate due to murder is higher in SA-you had better chance of
survival being in Fallujah when the fighting was happening). I came back
the next year, in 1998, with my husband, former President Bill Clinton. And we
saw even more progress. And then, we saw the house that we helped to build on
the other community in Victoria Mxenge. (Again all ANC
controlled-as she obviously did not check out the shanty towns outside of
Johannesburg)
And so, we wanted to come and see a new community.

Dear Gail,
Actually…since 1967 the US Consulate in Jerusalem has been, with full agreement between the Israeli and US governments, the de-facto “embassy” to the Palestinians in the West bank and Gaza. As far as I know the Consul General in Jerusalem and his staff have no direct connection to the US embassy in Tel-Aviv, are not subordinate to the US ambassador to Israel and report directly to Washington. In fact – there are frequent stories of opposing reports or analysis coming to DC from Jerusalem and Tel-Aviv. Israelis do not normally (except in emergencies) receive services at the consulate in Jerusalem. There is a separate consulate office in Tel-Aviv. American citizens can get service in either.
So for all intents and purposes, the US Consulate General in West Jerusalem is officially a separate State Dept delegation representing US interests in another Arab entity (though I think that the Marines who guard both buildings rotate between them). And no – as far as I know there is no other place in the world were this kind of “arrangement” exists.
Logical…no. But this is the Middle East – don’t look for logic!
In my opinion your question, Gail, should not be about the Consulate General, but about why the US has not yet moved its embassy from Tel-Aviv to the Capital of Israel – Jerusalem...despite Congress’s overwhelming and ongoing support for it.

The State Department, in a stunning act of sponsoring terror, has invited the propaganda television station of Hamas, Al-quds TV, to film propaganda here in the United States in your dime.
Below is a cable of a proposal from the U.S. Consulate in Jerusalem. Al-quds TV, the mouthpiece for Hamas, will film a documentary and miniseries about Muslims in America. All at US taxpayers' expense. It's really disgusting. Hamas comes to Washington.
Imagine the FDR administration welcoming Goebbels to DC during World War II to film Nazi propaganda and footing the bill.
Understand that no other propaganda TV stations are invited to come here at our expense who are not pro-hamas/hezbollah or in some fashion - part of the Muslim Brotherhood. No Hindus, no Buddhists, etc. are invited. Only Muslim stations. Israel could certainly use an invite.
There isn't an agency that is not infiltrated (see this). In the case of DOS, in particular, it's beyond infiltration. They are running the show.

ConGen Jerusalem submits the following TV Co-op proposal on behalf of two Palestinian organizations, a local media NGO and
a Ramallah-based television station. The intended production will
include several documentaries on the life of
Muslims in America.
The
nominated 2-3 person TV crew will conduct interviews with local Muslim leaders and individuals, visit Muslim
institutions and organizations, and meet with USG officials. In
addition, the crew will cover some events that are part of a single country
project
IVLP
consisting of prominent Palestinian religious
leaders. Separate interviews with selected individuals from different
segments of the larger American society, including representatives from various
religious denominations, will also be an integral part of this TV
production.

will coordinate with PA/OBS to generate a program that will fulfill the
objectives of the TV Co-op program.

Goal: Improve attitudes of Palestinian public
and leaders toward U.S. policies, principles, and people.

Background/Objectives: A 2-3 member television crew will produce a one-hour documentary and a series of other
mini-documentaries on topics related to the daily lives of Muslim-Americans, including their
role as active participants in civil society and contributions
to U.S. society
overall. The documentaries will
highlight aspects of the Muslim community in the U.S., including their equal and
full exercise of guaranteed civil rights
and full protection under the
law to
practice their religion freely. The documentaries will help counter numerous
local press reports of alleged discrimination against Muslims living in the
United States. The production of these
documentaries by a Palestinian television crew and their broadcast on local TV
outlets will help promote greater public awareness of the overall positive
experience of Muslim Americans.
During
the two week program organized by
PA/OBS, post hopes that the TV crew will be able to film some specific
portions of a post-initiated IVLP [International Visitors Leadership
Program] Single Country Program on "Religion in America" taking
place at the same time. The documentaries will
be aired on several local media outlets, including independent Al-Quds
Educational TV and the national Palestinian TV, as well as several other
independent television stations that reach viewers throughout the West Bank and
Gaza.

Participating Organizations: The proposed documentaries will be jointly
produced by the Jerusalem Center for Studies
and Islamic Media, a local media NGO, and Al-Quds Educational TV, one of the
largest local TV stations in the Palestinian areas.
The
Jerusalem Center for Studies and Islamic Media:
Established in October 2005, the center aims
at reflecting Islam as
a
religion of tolerance and one that is accepting of other
religions. Through its activities, the
center seeks to provide a
"forward
look toward promoting religious tolerance, peace and
security
for all peoples of the region." Some of the center's
activities include conducting workshops and
conferences on Islamic
media,
producing television programs and computerized multimedia
presentations about Islam and Islamic
civilization, and organizing
constructive dialogue sessions with members
of different religions.
Al-Quds
Educational TV:
The TV
station currently reaches the greater Ramallah and Jerusalem areas, and is a
member of the Ma'an TV network that reaches all of the West Bank and Gaza. The
station itself is under new management and wants to renew its image and viewer
base by adding high quality programs to its existing broadcast. The new
management is very
excited
about the possibility of making the TV Coop documentaries a centerpiece of their
new program launch. Al Quds Educational TV last participated in a TV Co-op
program in 2002.

Filming Locations:
The 2-3
person film crew would travel to several different locations in several states
in order to obtain a well-rounded picture of Muslim Life in America. As
mentioned, post would also like the film crew to capture some of the
meetings/events taking place as part of
the SCP
[Single Country
Program] on "Religion in America." Post will work with PA/OBS
in coordination with the crew to identify relevant sites to visit and
appropriate individuals to interview. PA/OBS
and Post would also work with the SCP program officer to identify appropriate
integration of the film crew in specific activities of the SCP.

Participating crew members/Logistics:
The
participating TV crew will consist of 2-3 professionals: A reporter, a

Every year TV stations come in from all over the world. However, TV stations from most of the Arab world cover one issue only - Muslim life in America, or Islam in America.

Ever since Obama took office, we have been scratching our heads trying to understand how and why he is reaching out to hardcore jihad-supporting Muslims. I documented the dangerous partnership of ISNA with the FBI. Patrick Poole has a scathing indictment of Eric Holder's Department of Justice and ISNA. It's no accident, it's systemic. And it is sanctioned at the highest levels of government. Recently I reported on Hillary Clinton at the State Department "outreaching" to proselytizing jihadis like Mahdi Bray and Esam Omeish (whom I have blogged about and exposed at length).
The State department and Hillary Clinton know who Omeish and Bray are and know their background. They chose to conference with him nonetheless and developed talking points in case the press should query State on such seditious and idiotic moves (talking points below):

tied to an al-Qaida fund raiser and the spiritual adviser to the 9/11
hijackers.
Turns out it his real name is Esam S. Omeish, and he
runs a nonprofit group in Washington called the Muslim American
Society, which the FBI believes is the U.S. branch of the dangerous
Muslim Brotherhood, a worldwide jihadist movement that operates like
the mafia. The secret Islamist society counts Osama bin Laden, Ayman
al-Zawahri, Khalid Sheikh Mohammed and blind sheik Omar Abdel Rahman
among its members. Its motto: “The Quran is our constitution, the
prophet is our guide; Death for the glory of Allah is our greatest
ambition.”
Mahdi Bray:
On December 22, 2000, MPAC's Mahdi Bray organized a rally
in Lafayette Park outside the White House to celebrate a "Worldwide Day
for Jerusalem." In Arabic, the crowd responsively chanted with the
emcee, "Khaybar, Khaybar oh Jews, the Army of Muhammad is coming for
you!" Posters calling for "Death to Israel" and equating the Star of
David with the Nazi swastika were openly displayed and anti-Semitic
literature calling for the destruction of the Jews and Israel was
distributed. Members of the crowd burned the Israeli flag while
marching from the White House to the State Department.
Bray spoke at this rally, along with Imam Mohammed al-Asi, former
director of the Islamic Education Center in Potomac, Maryland, who
exhorted the crowd to violence in the name of Islam. Would Truman's State department have invited and teamed up with Nazis?

on the call and may have raised concerns about Mr. Omeish. Mr. Omeish is a
candidate for representative of Virginia’s 35th District to the State House, and
a doctor at Northern Virginain Community Hospital. In 2007, he had to resign
from the Virginia Commission on Immigration due to comments he made regarding
“Israel’s war machine” during the 2006 Israel-Hizballah conflict. He is also
accused of supporting suicide attacks and violence in achieving a Palestinian

Note the praise of Hassan al-Banna, described as “the founder and
the leader of a great Islamic movement, the Muslim Brotherhood.”
The Organization of the Islamic Conference (OIC) says jump, and BO says, how high, master? Obama had the OIC head, Ekmeleddin Ihsanoglu, at the White House, where he "urged the U.S. to quickly appoint an envoy to the Islamic bloc" -- which prompted BHO to create "a new office that is responsible for outreach with Muslims around the
world".
In keeping with instituting Obama's US MUSLIM ENGAGEMENT, a charter of dhimmitude, we are to be conditioned to respect Muslim immigrants and accept their culture. President Hussein is more than comfortable with this deal with the
devil as he seeks to institute an Islamo-Christian ethic, destroying
the very foundation of this great country.
Never mind that Muslims go after and annihilate the Christians in every
country they finally dominate. This is of no import.
Since
taking office Obama has focused on three things - the transformation of
our capitalistic economy to a form of socialist statist fascism, the

Obama invited the "secretary general" to the White House on the Islamic leg of his apology tour of Europe. Obama refused Sarkozy's offer to visit Normandy, choosing instead to tour the mosques of Turkey and attend the second forum of the OIC arm, the "alliance of civilizations" (AoC).
The Alliance of Civilizations [was] created to oppose the clash of civilizations, that is jihad. On 13 November 2006, the High-Level Group of the Alliance of Civilizations presented its report which sums up the request of the OIC at its Mecca Summit 9, in 2005, after the Cartoons affair. First, it adopts the Islamic view of history and politics by claiming that everything was fine between the three monotheistic religions until the 19th century, when the evil of European colonialism and Zionism destroyed this harmony. Then it affirms that the Israeli-Palestinian conflict is the main source of Christian-Muslim antagonism, not the jihadist war and ideology that deny for others the right to exist. It proclaims that this conflict “remains one of the gravest threats to international stability” and formulates recommendations that again echo the OIC requests. Such views mirror Hitler accusing the Jews of fomenting World War II, or the Protocols of the Elders of Zion, praised in the Hamas charter, the Palestinian branch of the Muslim Brotherhood which denies Israel’sright to exist. The Secretary General of the Organization of the Islamic Conference
(OIC), Ekmeleddin Ihsanoglu, reconnoitered with Obama during the official reception of the AoC given by the Turkish
Prime Minister, Mr. Recep Tayyip Erdoğan (who famously said that "there is no moderate Islam" just days before Barack Hussein's visit). Obama
reiterated to the Secretary General the willingness and readiness of
the US Administration to explore areas of cooperation with the
Organization of the Islamic Conference.
New U.S. Special
Representative Announced for Muslim Outreach
Washington — Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton has appointed
Farah Pandith to serve as special representative to Muslim communities, in
charge of a new office that is responsible for outreach with Muslims around the
world.
According to a notice
published by the State Department June 23, Special Representative Pandith and
her staff will carry out Clinton’s efforts to “engage with Muslims around the
world on a people-to-people and organizational level.”
(CNSNews.com) – Buoyed by the presence in the White House of a
president who wants to prioritize relations with the world’s Muslims, the head
of the Organization of the Islamic Conference (OIC) visited both Washington and
Brussels this week, and urged the U.S. to quickly appoint an envoy to the
Islamic bloc.
OIC secretary-general Ekmeleddin Ihsanoglu was in
Washington on Tuesday when the State Department, in an internal memo, announced
that it has selected a “special representative to Muslim
communities.”
The department chose not to announce the move publicly, but
State Department spokesman Ian Kelly on Thursday acknowledged that Farah Pandith
has been chosen for the position. Pandith, a Muslim of Kashmiri origin, served
as “senior advisor for Muslim engagement to the assistant secretary for European
and Eurasian affairs” in the Bush administration. hsanoglu told the Turkish Anadolu state news agency this week that he had told
Clinton that the U.S. should immediately appoint a special envoy for its
relations with the Islamic world.
The two were scheduled to have met, but
the event was cancelled because of Clinton’s recent elbow fracture and
surgery.
Instead they held a “comprehensive” telephone conversation and
“exchanged views as to the ways and means of furthering the engagement between
the OIC and the U.S. in the coming period,” the OIC said in a
statement.

Ihsanoglu went to Brussels where he announced plans to open a representative
office to the European Union, with a key function of combating
“Islamophobia.”
The OIC, a 57-member bloc of Muslim majority states that
wields increasing clout at the United Nations, already has permanent missions in
the U.N. cities of New York and Geneva, and “OIC groups” in Washington, Vienna
and Paris.
Headquartered in the Saudi city of Jeddah, the OIC has existed
for 40 years, but in recent times has become much more visible in the West,
largely as a result of its controversial

of the drive, including religious freedom and free speech advocates, see it as
an attempt to shield Islam and Islamic practices from
criticism.
Ihsanoglu, a Turk, told the Turkish newspaper Today’s
Zaman that “fighting anti-Islam propaganda” will be among the main aims of
the office in Brussels.
The paper noted that major incidents considered
to be “Islamophobic” had occurred in Europe, citing the furor over Danish
newspaper cartoons satirizing Mohammed.
While in Brussels, Ihsanoglu met
the E.U.’s external relations commissioner, Benita Ferrero-Waldner, and said
they discussed Obama’s speech in Cairo. Ihsanoglu had been in the audience when
the president spoke.
“Obama’s speech was historic and did not resemble
any other speeches in the past,” he told the Anadolu agency on Wednesday. “There
has never been a speech delivered to the Muslims that was so constructive and
positive as Obama’s speech.”

‘The most democratic religion’
While in the U.S. this week,
Ihsanoglu met with former Secretary of State Madeleine Albright, a member of a
“leadership group” driving the U.S.-Muslim Engagement Project and a strong
backer of Obama’s outreach.
In April, Albright was quoted by the Voice of
America as telling a meeting of OIC ambassadors that she had no doubt Islamic
countries could be democracies.
“Actually, in my study of religions, in
many ways Islam is maybe the most democratic religionbecause there is nobody
between you and God. So I do not think that is something that can be used as
reason not to have Muslim democracies.”
Madeline Albright's impossibly stupid remark reflects an illogical, frightening dhimmitude at the "leadership level". How does one look at an Islamic country and make a statement like that?
Where's Muslim outreach to the West -- where is the self criticism? It's all their way or the highway.
The Organization of the Islamic Conference (OIC) member-states at the Durban
II gathering in Geneva is pushing for "a new world order" that would expand and
impose "nondemocratic and illiberal values on the West," says the Danish editor
who in 2005 commissioned and published a series of cartoons, one of which
depicted the prophet Muhammad with a bomb in his turban that led to worldwide
Muslim rioting.
Flemming Rose, editor of Jyllands-Posten, Denmark's
largest-circulation newspaper, is visiting Israel under the auspices of the
Hebrew University's Shasha Center for Strategic Studies, headed by former Mossad
director Efraim Halevy. He's here to lecture on how nations need to find the
right balance between religious sensitivities and freedom of expression.
Rose says the OIC is trying to use Durban II to rewrite the rules of human
rights and international law in a way that undermines the values of liberty
enshrined in the Western canon - including the US Bill of Rights, the French
Declaration of the Rights of Man and the UN's Universal Declaration of Human
Rights.
It's all part of an ongoing Muslim campaign that has been making significant
strides, says Rose.
Bat Yeor wrote of the OIC:
The OIC is one of the largest intergovernmental organizations in the world.
It encompasses 56 Muslim states plus the Palestinian Authority. Spread
over four continents, it claims to speak in the name of the ummah (the
universal Muslim community), which numbers about 1.3 billion. The OIC’s
mission is to unite all Muslims worldwide by rooting them in the Koran
and the Sunnah — the core of traditional Islamic civilization and
values. It aims at strengthening solidarity and
cooperation among all its members, in order to protect the interests of
Muslims everywhere and to galvanize the ummah into a unified body.
The
OIC is a unique organization — one that has no equivalent in the world.
It unites the religious, economic, military, and political strength of
56 states. By contrast, the European Union represents half as many
states and is a secular body only, and the Vatican — which speaks for
the world’s 1.1 billion Catholics — is devoid of any political power.
Many Muslims in the West resist the OIC’s tutelage and oppose its
efforts to supplant Western law with sharia. But the OIC’s resources
are formidable.

The OIC regularly reiterates
its commitments to protecting the political, historical, religious, and
human rights of Muslims in non-OIC states, especially Muslims who form
the majority in specific regions of non-Muslim countries — such as the
southern Philippines, southern Thailand, and western Thrace in Greece —
as well as Muslims in places like the Balkans, the Caucasus, Myanmar,
India, and China. The OIC supports
Hamas and the Palestinians in their struggle to destroy Israel, as well
as the Muslim fight for “legitimate self-determination” in
“Indian-occupied Jammu and Kashmir.” It has condemned the “continual
Armenian aggression against Azerbaijan,” and it expresses its full
solidarity with “the just cause of the Muslim Turkish people of Cyprus”
and with Sudanese President Omar Hassan Al-Bashir, whom many hold
responsible for encouraging the massacres in Darfur. The seat of the
OIC is in Jeddah, but the organization regards that location as
temporary: Its headquarters will be transferred to al-Kods (Islamized
Jerusalem) when that city has been “liberated” from Israeli control.
In its efforts to defend the “true image” of Islam and combat its defamation, the organization has
requested the UN and the Western countries to punish “Islamophobia” and
blasphemy. Among the manifestations of Islamophobia, in the OIC’s view,
are European opposition to illegal immigration, anti-terrorist
measures, criticism of multiculturalism, and indeed any efforts to
defend Western cultural and national identities. The OIC has massive
funding from oil sources, which it lavishly spends on the Western media
and academia and in countless “dialogues.” It influences Western
policy, laws, and even textbooks through pressures brought by Muslim
immigrants and by the Western nations’ own leftist parties. Hence, we
have seen Kristallnacht-like incitements of hate and murder against
European Jews and Israel conducted with impunity in the cities of
Europe — where respect for human rights is supposed to be one of the
highest values.

Lol. Has the State department read the Hamas Charter? The Hamas charter (or covenant), issued in 1988, calls for the eventual
creation of an Islamic state in Palestine, in place of Israel and the
Palestinian Territories,[54] and the obliteration or nullification of Israel.[55]Specifically, the quotation section that precedes the charter's
introduction provides the following quote, attributed to Imam Hassan
al-Banna: "Israel will exist and will continue to exist until Islam
will obliterate it, just as it obliterated others before it."[56]
The quotation has also been translated as follows: "Israel will be
established and will stay established until Islam shall nullify it, as
it nullified what was before it."[57]
The charter's advocacy of an Islamic state in the territory of the
Palestinian territories and Israel is stated as an Islamic religious
prophesy arising from Hadith, the oral traditions relating to the words and deeds of the Islamic prophet Muhammad.[58]
In this regard, the charter states that "renouncing any part of
Palestine means renouncing part of the religion; the nationalism of the
Islamic Resistance Movement is part of its faith. . ."[59][60]

The Anti-Defamation League (ADL) urged the Justice Department, Sunday to investigate whether a US-based campaign is raising
funds for "the purpose of providing material support to Hamas," and voiced
concern about the fund raising activities of the campaign's leader, George Galloway, a member of the British Parliament.
Obama's Department of Justice ? Good luck with that.
There is the potential for additional funds allocated to the “Middle
East” which could end up there as well.
This, despite promises from Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton that U.S.
taxpayer money will not end up in the hands of Hamas terrorists, and would not
be approved if funds were used for “recognizing or
otherwise honoring individuals who commit, or have committed acts of terrorism”.
Clearly our taxes are being used to recognize and promote new generations of
Islamic terrorists.
Back in April, I described the "changes" Obama was making to immigration from terror nations under the diversity and religious visa program. Changes. President hopeychange wasted no time in opening up the visa
regulations, beginning with "religious visas." Before, whoever wanted
to enter as a supposed missionary needed to demonstrate his/her
affiliation with a religious institution for at least two years. Now they changed it to almost no proof at all.
Another type of visa that is dangerous is an IV (Immigrant Visa). This is what is called a "Diversity" visa
-- a class of immigrants known as “diversity immigrants.” Diversity
Visas (DV) each fiscal year are made available to persons from
countries with low rates of immigration to the United States. The
annual DV program makes visas available to persons meeting the simple eligibility
requirements. A computer-generated, random lottery drawing chooses
selectees for diversity visas. The visas are distributed among six
geographic regions, with a greater number of visas going to regions
with lower rates of immigration.
The numbers are staggering, but still not fast enough for some. Today's Arab News Online reported, "Saudi students and travelers complain that the president could do
something about the visa processing issue".

In an almost incomprehensible move and a complete and utter act of dangerous stupidity, the State department is hosting a gay pride party in Baghdad. In insulting Islam, they are putting American soldiers in harm's way.

Embassy, where they are holding what the invitation says is the first-ever U.S.
Embassy Gay Pride Theme Party next Friday at Baghdaddy's, which is the embassy

The State Department turns itself inside out "not to insult Islam." They would happily hand over the Jews, American sovereignty and defense of the free world to satisfy the insatiable global jihad. the execution of homosexuals in Islam.

Obama is hellbent on "respecting Islam" even when "we don't agree". So how could his administration be so insensitive to Islam's repulsion and rejection of homosexuality? Clearly, this will mar Obama's outreach and "personal commitment" to the Muslim world - strange, particularly for an
administration bent on promoting tolerance and "respect". If the Muslim world will not tolerate an unveiled woman ..... it is difficult to fathom their visceral reaction to this.
This puts US soldiers serving in Iraq in the cross hairs of retribution.
Changes. President hopeychange wasted no time in opening up the visa regulations, beginning with "religious visas." Before, whoever wanted to enter as a supposed missionary needed to demonstrate his/her affiliation with a religious institution for at least two years. Now they changed it to almost no proof at all.
"Missionary" Christians come and go, and priests, pastors, nuns, ministers have used this visa, but their number is so low that it is insignificant. The Jews also use this type of visa, but it is the same as the Christians. The numbers are low, and, as with the Christians, generally those folks use a tourist visa.
It is predominately Muslims who use the "religious visa". And that number is quite high. Many countries such as Pakistan or territories such as Palestine use this type of visa, because it has been harder for them to get a regular visa (though that is no longer true for the Palestinians). But because most Muslims can't really provide or do not want to provide the information of a specific mosque they've attended or they've "preached" at, they complained -- and now DOS has granted their wish of waiving the 2-year proof requirement.
Bottom line, this yet another type of visa they are using, and this change helps them enormously.
In addition, another type of visa that is dangerous and is an IV (Immigrant Visa), is what is called a "Diversity" visa -- a class of immigrants known as “diversity immigrants.” Diversity Visas (DV) each fiscal year are made available to persons from countries with low rates of immigration to the United States. The annual DV program makes visas available to persons meeting the simple eligibility requirements. A computer-generated, random lottery drawing chooses selectees for diversity visas. The visas are distributed among six geographic regions, with a greater number of visas going to regions with lower rates of immigration.
Just to give you an idea of the impact of these changes on regions rife with jihad, look at the number -- and this is just April alone. Just the month of April.
Immigrant numbers in the "diversity visa" for April alone have Africa at 26,900, Egypt 17,400, Somalia 15,700, Nigeria 9,900, Asia 17,400, Bangladesh 11,000. And don't be fooled by Europe's number of 20,800 -- diversity means we are importing Europe's Pakistanis, Moroccans, Algerians, etc., and we know how well they have integrated into those societies.

Over the coming months Americans will find out if the Obama administration and the congressional leadership are preparing another attempt to pass an amnesty bill in 2009. accomplished, now it's your turn." You shift the burden and that's what
president Abbas and Prime Minister Fayad have done and that is what the
United States is committed to doing. Both Israelis and Palestinians are
looking towards the day when Israelis can live in security, because
that's of course a very legitimate concern, and the Palestinian people
can live in security in their own state and shape their own destiny."

JERUSALEM – U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton
promised Tuesday to work with the incoming Israeli government, but
delivered a clear message that could put her at odds with the country's
next leader: Movement toward the establishment of a Palestinian state
is "inescapable."
At the same time, Clinton said she would not dictate orders to
Israel, saying the Jewish state would determine its interests. She also
pledged "unrelenting" support for Israel's security.
Clinton also said the U.S. would soon send two envoys to Syria for "preliminary conversations."
It was the most significant sign yet that the Obama administration is
ready to mend relations with the Damascus regime. The U.S. withdrew its
ambassador in 2005, accusing Syria of supporting terrorism.
"We have no way to predict what the future with our relations
concerning Syria might be," she told a Jerusalem news conference.
"There has to be some perceived benefit of doing so for the United
States and our allies and our shared values. But I think it is a
worthwhile effort to go and begin these preliminary conversations."
Clinton lamented that President Barack Obama's attempts to reach out to Syrian ally Iran have so far been unsuccessful. The U.S. and Israel accuse Iran of pursuing nuclear weapons and supporting anti-Israel militant groups.
Clinton, seeking to calm her Israeli hosts, said diplomacy should not be confused with softness.
"When we talk about engagement with Iran, do not be in any way
confused, our goal remains the same: to dissuade and prevent Iran from
acquiring nuclear weapons and continuing to fund terrorism," she said.
"Whatever we do will be done thoughtfully in consultation with our friends and Israel, most particularly Israel."...

Provoked by the Palestinians' escalating missile campaign, on Sunday evening the Ashkelon Parents Association voted not to send their children to school on Monday.
Ever since the outgoing Kadima government ended Operation Cast Lead in Gaza on January 20, the Palestinians have steadily stepped-up their missile war against Israel. Over the weekend the IDF acknowledged that six weeks later, daily Palestinian missile barrages against Israel have returned to pre-Operation Cast Lead levels. Moreover, the IDF warned that over the past six weeks, Hamas and its sister terror groups have rebuilt their missile arsenals both through imports of Iranian arms from Egypt and through local production lines. They have also brought in fairly advanced anti-aircraft missiles capable of shooting down IAF helicopters.
The proximate cause for the decision to close down schools was the weekend missile strike against a high school in Ashkelon. The direct hit caused massive damage both to the school and to surrounding apartments. IDF inspectors assessed that the Grad missile the Palestinians used in the attack had been locally upgraded. Its warhead was two and a half times bigger than usual.
As Ashkelon's children settled into their living rooms instead of their classrooms on Monday morning, a few hundred kilometers to the south representatives from 80 countries and international organizations convened in Sharm el-Sheikh to pledge billions of dollars in aid to Hamas-controlled Gaza. The US, represented by Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, pledged $900 million in assistance.
Also on Monday, The Jerusalem Post reported that the US is curtailing its military aid to Israel. Under new Pentagon guidelines, the Ministry of Defense must give a detailed accounting of how it uses every item it purchases with US aid money. As a consequence, the Defense Ministry issued new instructions to the IDF that from now Israel's purchases from the US will be limited to defensive armaments and systems aimed at preserving its "qualitative edge" against its enemies.

What is noteworthy and particularly disgusting is swallowing this in light of Albright's history. Her parents converted from Judaism in order to escape Nazi persecution. Any surprise here from Madeline Albright? Blame America for the Muslim
worlds problems. According to Albright, Americans are not only ignorant of the
Muslim world, but woefully ignorant. No mention of how ignorant the Muslim world
is of America and other issues.
Former Secretary of State Madeline Albright and
former Represenative Vin Weber (R-Minn) spoke at the Council on Foreign
Relations conerning American relations with the Muslim world. Secretary Albright
said that Pakistan is the most dangerous country in the world,
but that Afghanistan and Pakistan are closely tied in their turmoil. She
continued that most Americans are “woefully ignorant” of the Muslim world, and
that America’s approach should not be one of ‘tolerance’, but rather one of
‘respect’. Concurrent to that line of thought is the notion that the
United States should be prepared to deal with Islamist democratic elections
where the results are not favorable to American policy. Albright said
people all over the world are ready for democracy, but that the United States
should take the position of supporting popular democratic movements, not
“imposing democracy”. Weber echoed that sentiment, but insisted that the U.S.
could help build the “preconditions for democracy”, such as improving women’s
rights or encouraging an open media.
Regarding America’s approach to fighting
terrorism, Albright said that the U.S. must not fight terror in a way which
creates new terrorists, and that every civilian death makes both the United
States and our causes suffer. Regarding the policies of ‘targeted killings’ and
assassinations, Weber highlighted that both the Bush and Obama administrations
said that they would not ignore ‘actionable intelligence’ on the locations of
terrorists. Albright also stated that it is important for America to distinguish
those who were civilians and those who were “murders”.
Listen to that asshattery. The objective of the enemy is to kill as many civilians as they can get off on one attack, but if we defend ourselves, we will get them angry. So .... what? Don't defend ourselves, just give them money and land?

The American public is woefully ignorant about,
first of all they think that most Muslims live in the Middle East which they
don’t uhhhhhh, and they don’t know anything about ehhhhh the difference between
ummmmm Sunni and Shia or or any aspect of this, and so I think it is an
educational process for the United States which can eh the American people which
cannot be done without the help of reporters and ummmm the help of the media.
Also the other way, I think that this is what we talked about in uhhh both these

(IsraelNN.com) Former United States Foreign Service Officer Norman Olsen has blamed U.S. Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice for misguided policies that he and his Gaza activist son say put Hamas in power.
Writing in the Christian Science Monitor, Olsen and his son Matthew also revealed that the U.S. State
Hamas never called for the elections that put them in power. That was the brainstorm of Secretary Rice and her staff.
Department is so deeply involved in the Palestinian Authority that it financed Fatah in its election campaign against Hamas.
The senior Olsen worked for the Foreign Office for 26 years, including four years in Gaza as a counselor for the American Embassy in Tel Aviv.
"Hamas never called for the elections that put them in power. That was the brainstorm of Secretary Rice and her staff," he and his son, who runs peace programs, wrote in the Monitor Monday morning.
Olsen maintained that Rice and her aides "had apparently decided they could steer Palestinians into supporting the more-compliant Mahmoud Abbas and his Fatah faction through a marketing campaign that was to counter Hamas's growing popularity.'

The writers blamed the American-sponsored PA legislative election in 2006 for
leading to the Hamas coup last year that resulted in the closure of Gaza
crossings and a general economic collapse in Gaza.
They also revealed how deep the State Department is involved in political
affairs in the Middle East. "State Department staffers helped finance and
supervise the Fatah campaign, down to the choice of backdrop color for the
podium where '[PA Chairman Mahmoud] Abbas was to proclaim victory," they
wrote.
"An adviser working for the United States Agency for International
Development (USAID) explained to incredulous staffers at the Embassy in Tel Aviv
how he would finance and direct elements of the campaign, leaving no U. S.
fingerprints. USAID teams, meanwhile, struggled to implement projects for which
Abbas could claim credit," the Olsens added.
The American strategy was to pave the way for Mohammed Dahlan, Fatah's strong
man and "warlord" on Gaza, to destroy Hamas's terrorist brigades.
"Rice was reportedly blindsided when she heard the news of Hamas's victory
during her 5:00 a.m. treadmill workout," the Olsens recalled.
Yes, she's baack and that aint good, deeply disturbing though predictable. I have been warning of her return for months. She stepped back in March so "the one" could seize the White House.
In what can only considered a masterstroke in the machination of an antisemite, Obama has installed Power at the Arabist, Israel (Jew) hating State department where she will be right at home. Melanie Phillips explains it here:
As I have said before, Emanuel’s parentage is irrelevant. As The Forward notes,
he was not only a player in the catastrophic Oslo appeasement process
but also supported the informal ‘Geneva initiative’ which even doveish
Israelis condemned as a suicide note for Israel.
And as for Mrs Clinton, Hillary the Moderate is itself a fairly
recent piece of triangulated reconstitution. Not that long ago, she was
significantly to the left of her husband; and it must not be forgotten,
crucially, that she herself is an Alinsky disciple.
What is much more likely is that Hillary, a professed defender of
Israel, would be used (as would, to a lesser extent, Rahm Emanuel) to
provide deniable cover for Obama as his administration forces Israel to
cut its own throat -- the centrepiece of what passes for his foreign
policy to date.
For surrounding Hillary would be appointments which would be solidly
anti-Israel: people who believe that Israel must be forced to
jeopardise its security to bring into being a Palestinian state which
they think would lance the Islamist boil – because they believe that
Israel is not the victim but the cause of Islamist rage and
global terror. It has been widely reported that Obama has been
consulting the former Republican National Security Adviser Brent
Scowcroft, who is a leading voice in this camp. Moreover, according to
the Wall Street Journal,
Scowcroft is linked to a number of like-minded Republicans Obama is
thought to be considering bringing into his administration, such as Jim
Jones as his National Security Adviser.
A few days ago, Scowcroft and Carter’s former NSA Zbigniew
Brzezinski (an open enemy of Israel and another of Obama's advisers)
penned a significant op-ed in the Washington Post. This
appeared to be a first draft of the Obama plan to force Israel back
into its 1948 ‘Auschwitz’ borders and bring a Palestinian state into
being, in the quite remarkable belief that this
would dissipate much of the appeal of Hezbollah and Hamas,
dependent as it is on the Palestinians' plight. It would change the
region’s psychological climate, putting Iran back on the defensive and
putting a stop to its swagger.
What planet are they on? A Palestinian state would be run by Hamas as a proxy for Iran. As such, it would be a disaster for the Palestinians -- as several of them have now realised – as well as for Israel, the region and the world.
Moreover, to allay Israel’s security concerns over handing over
territory to a Palestinian government that is incapable of combating
terrorism, Scowcroft, Brzezinski and Jones recommend stationing an
international force, perhaps from NATO, in the disputed territories.
Ah yes: to repeat the conspicuous success NATO troops achieved in
bringing peace in Srebenica, for example, or Rwanda, or Lebanon?
The Republicans, who really don’t begin to grasp just what has hit
them, similarly fail to acknowledge that among their own ranks are many
who, just like in the British Conservative party, share with the left
the desire to neutralise American power and throw Israel under the bus.
Some of those people came to power under George W Bush and set him on
the disastrous path to appeasement -- which his demented detractors on
the left somehow failed altogether to notice.
There are other unsettling indications that Obama may already be
running a shadow foreign policy. Robert Malley, one of Clinton’s Oslo
negotiators, is one of America's most outspoken apologists for
Palestinian terrorism against Israel and claims that Syrian, Lebanese
and Iranian attacks against Israel are all Israel's fault. The Obama
campaign distanced itself from Malley last May after the Times
reported that he was meeting regularly with Hamas leaders. But a few
days after Obama’s election, Malley travelled to Syria, ostensibly
under the aegis of the appeasement-minded International Crisis Group.
Yet one of his aides told FrontPage Magazine that
acting on Obama’s instructions, Malley traveled to Cairo and Damascus
to tell Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak and Syria’s President Assad
that ‘the Obama administration would take into greater account Egyptian
and Syrian interests.’ And as Caroline Glick reported, Hamas terror operative Ahmad Youssef told the London-based Al-Hayat
newspaper that in the months leading up to his election, Obama's
advisers held steady contacts with the leaders of the terror group in
Gaza, and had asked that Hamas keep the meetings secret in order not to
harm Obama's chances of being elected.
If Israel is to be browbeaten into committing suicide, however, it
is essential that the fingerprints of the Israel-haters are not found
at the scene of the crime and that it is carried out instead by someone
with impeccable credentials as an Israel supporter. That person may
well be Hillary Clinton who, if appointed Secretary of State, will be
expected to finish the job her husband failed to do and force a
Palestine state into being.
To fully grasp this, it has to be understood that there are two
kinds of people who threaten to deliver Israel to its enemies for
annihilation. The first are the Israel-haters who want to see it
destroyed. The second are those on the left who, while believing they
have Israel’s interests at heart, believe also that its security can be
guaranteed by a Palestine state. They thus see Israel’s resistance to
that state as the obstacle to peace in the region, whereas in fact it
would pose a mortal threat to Israel (and now also to the region and
the world, since such a state would be a proxy for Iran). That’s why
Clinton Mark One pressurised Israel to dismember itself under Oslo and
in the process turned the Palestinians from a terrorist gang into an
army with international backing. Clinton Mark Two would be Oslo all
over again -- but this time trailing clouds of Iranian plutonium.
This new role is ironic, to say the least, since the new Secretary of State ,
expected to be announced on Monday, is Hillary Clinton, a woman Ms.Power called
a "monster" back in March. That characterization by Ms. Power embarrassed the
Obama campaign and Ms. Power resigned from her formal campaign role.
Presumably, Ms Power now understands the need to be diplomatic in a State
Department role, and not fly off the handle making vicious insulting
statements, and so will be a good judge of the people who don't behave as she
has.
In any case it is worth recalling why Power was a problematic
associate of Barack Obama even before she mouthed off about Clinton. Ms Power
is
not a friend of Israel. Will she try to find people for State Department
jobs who will balance (undermine?) Ms Clinton, who is viewed as friendlier to
the Jewish state?
The expected
appointment of General James Jones for National Security Advisor is also
viewed as potentially problematic by the pro-Israel community, following his
harsh criticism of Israel in a report prepared for Secretary of State Rice on
Israeli security forces in the West Bank. Both Ms Power and General Jones have
supported a role for international forces in the West Bank, whether UN or NATO,
a concept that is anathema to even left of center Israelis.
Does Ms
Powers' return, and General Jones imminent appointment suggest that Barack Obama
is warming to this concept?
Ah, so Billary will be the one to throw Israel under the bus. Knowing how Obama feels about Hil, he is doing her no favors. Hillary is hatchet man - she has the experience. But it might work out for Israel -- Hil hates O - she might just save Israel to spite Obama. Seriously.

A U.S. military "Red Team" charged with challenging conventional thinking
says that words like "jihad" and "Islamist" are needed in discussing
21st-century terrorism and that federal agencies that avoid the words
soft-pedaled the link between religious extremism and violent acts.
"We must reject the notion that Islam and Arabic stand apart as bodies of
knowledge that cannot be critiqued or discussed as elements of understanding our
enemies in this conflict," said the internal report, a copy of which was
obtained by The Washington Times.
The report, "Freedom of Speech in Jihad Analysis: Debunking the Myth of
Offensive Words," was written by unnamed civilian analysts and contractors for
the U.S. Central Command, which is
responsible for the Middle East and South Asia. It is thought to be the first
official document to challenge those in the government who seek to downplay the
role of Islam in inspiring some terrorist violence.
"The fact is our enemies cite the source of Islam as the foundation for their
global jihad," the report said. "We are left with the responsibility of
portraying our enemies in an honest and accurate fashion."

It cites two Bush administration documents that appear to minimize any link
between radical Islam and terrorism.
A January 2008 memorandum from the Department of Homeland Security's Office
for Civil Rights and Civil Liberties stated that unidentified American Muslims
recommended that the U.S. government avoid using the terms "jihadist," "Islamic
terrorist," "Islamist" or "holy warrior," asserting that would create a
"negative climate" and spawn acts of harassment and discrimination.
IT DEFIES LOGIC. North Korea
deployed more than 10 missiles on its west coast apparently for an imminent test
launch, a South Korean
newspaper said on Thursday, and Pyongyang halted U.N. monitoring of its nuclear
complex. The United Nations nuclear agency says North Korea has completely
banned its inspectors from the country's main Yongbyon nuclear complex (more here)
The result? The US backs down and panders to the brutal warden of a 30 million person gulag who sells nuke weapons to Islamic rogue regimes and their terrorist proxies. We will remove North Korea from the terror list. The details of the “verification protocol” are still unclear. Now that's pathetic.

The
failing North Korean nuclear deal appears to have been saved from collapse after
the United States agreed to remove the isolated dictatorship from its list of
terrorist states.
But
the move has alienated the government of Japan, which opposes such concessions
until Pyongyang has told the truth about Japanese citizens which it abducted
during the Cold War.
The
fragile agreement on North Korean nuclear disarmament, finally agreed last year
after four years of tortuous negotiation, had appeared to be in danger after
North Korea threatened to reactivate the plutonium reactor where it has
generated the material for an unknown number of nuclear warheads.
This is the poisonous fruit of having US consulates embassies in the Middle East teeming with Muslims to handle would-be immigrants, results we all see.
The State department is importing whole Muslim communities that are imposing their Islam on the workplace and the community at large under threat of violence - those agitators are welcome to live here but these folks can't even visit.
Woman who arrived in Israel
secretly planned to travel to US to meet siblings after 28 years, but American
embassy denied her a visa
A Jewish woman residing in Iran recently arrived in Israel for a secret visit.
The woman, who has not seen her siblings, who reside in the United States, for
28 years planned to travel to America for an emotional reunion. However, her
dream was shattered after the US embassy in Israel rejected her visa request,
Yedioth Ahronoth reported.
The woman arrived in Israel secretly via a European country, and planned
to travel to New York for the holidays to see her siblings. After she landed in
Israel, an Israeli relative who speaks some Persian accompanied her to the
American embassy in Tel Aviv. At the end of her interview, an embassy official
rejected her visa request.
The official said that as there was no Persian translator in the
embassy, he was unable to verify her story and could not conclude that she does
not intend to settle in the US. The official proposed that the woman's siblings
travel to Israel to see her here.
Is there no bar that Condhimmi must reach to actually keep her job. Is there no performance evaluation of her record? Is there no measure of her success? I ask you. other parties reaffirmed their commitment to providing the DPRK with
economic, energy, and humanitarian assistance up to the equivalent of one

North Kore aused the Six-Party
Talks to gain time, testing its first nuclear weapon in 2006, all the while
cloning its Yongbyon reactor in the Syrian desert. John Bolton said back in May, ""The issue with most rogue states like and Iran like North Korea by

them time, which proliferators need"

In a highly provocative snub to Washington, Beijing and Seoul, North
Korea has broken
the United Nations seals that had disabled its
nuclear programme, and said it would soon begin feeding atomic
material back into its Yongbyon facility.
As well as kicking UN nuclear watchdog inspectors out of the country
and re-opening its reprocessing plant, Pyongyang is now likely to
demand the removal of International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) seals
on the thousands of plutonium fuel rods removed from the plant last
year.
The fuel rods represent the most critical ingredient in the
resurrection of Kim Jong Il's nuclear weapons programme – a scenario
which the United States and North Korea's immediate neighbours thought
they had negotiated off the table and are desperate to avoid.

and North Korea "without preconditions" is a naive and dangerous approach to

Israel releases 198 Palestinian prisoners in effort to boost peace process
Israel has freed almost 200 jailed Palestinians — including a militant
mastermind from the 1970s who became the state's longest serving
Palestinian prisoner — in a goodwill gesture just
hours before US
Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice visits the region.
The prisoners arrived in Ramallah after being released by prison
guards at an Israeli military checkpoint near Jerusalem. The
prisoners, some waving black-and-white checkered keffiyeh headdresses
as they stepped off Israeli buses, kissed the ground before boarding
Palestinian vehicles.
Israel said the release was designed to bolster President Mahmoud
Abbas and his western-leaning administration and give a boost to the
slow-moving peace talks with the moderate Palestinian leader.
Government spokesman Mark Regev said: "It's not easy for Israel to
release prisoners. Some of the individuals being released today are
guilty of direct involvement in the murder of innocent civilians.
"But we understand the importance of the prisoner issue for
Palestinian society...We believe this action can support the
negotiation process and create goodwill."
The Georgian Times is running a
piece today on the history of the Roki Tunnel, which runs beneath the
Caucasus mountains connecting South Ossetia and Russia. As one of the only
routes connecting North and South Ossetia, the tunnel was critical in Russia's
ability to launch its counterattack into Georgia on Aug. 8.
Georgians long resisted the construction of the tunnel during the Soviet
period, fearful of an influx of North Ossetians into Georgia, but the project
was finally greenlit in the early 1990s by Georgia's first communist party
secretary and later president Eduard Shevardnadze. The Georgian Times
notes:
Shevardnadze perhaps did not imagine, when signing off the Roki project, what
a fatal role this tunnel would play in the history of Georgia."

The new partnership between the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) and the newly-established American Charities for Palestine (ACP) opens exciting new prospects for tapping the generosity of Americans to address Palestinian humanitarian needs. The Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) signed between the two groups on August 1 is the first agreement ever between the agency and any private charitable entity.USAID Administrator Henrietta H. Fore, who presided over the ceremony, described this achievement as "historic" and "the first of its kind."
The MOU commits USAID and ACP to work together to channel the generosity of American individuals and institutions to mutually agreed-upon projects in the Palestinian territories. The organizations plan to focus on the health and education sectors, in hopes of achieving a rapid and direct impact benefiting the quality of life for the Palestinian people.
They will also work together to promote twinning and other partnerships between American and Palestinian health and educational institutions. ATFP founder Ziad j. Asali said, "We have established the American Charities for Palestine precisely to offer a safe, reliable and meaningful way for people to make their contributions with the full confidence that they can be sure not to be harassed and not to be questioned about their patriotism, or their contribution to the national interest."

Just a month after making a fuss over Israel preventing a group of
Palestinian Fulbright scholars from leaving Gaza, the US last week decided to
revoke the visas it had given to the Arabs because, as Israel originally pointed
out, they pose a security threat.

When Israel refused to allow three Gaza-based Palestinian recipients to exit

it let the students into its capital.

A longtime
adviser and close confidant of President Bush funneled millions of dollars in
U.S. government grants to radical Islamist organizations, many of whose leaders
have been convicted or indicted in terrorism cases in the United States,
respected terrorism
expert Steven Emerson told Congress last week. “When Ms.
[Karen] Hughes was appointed as undersecretary of state for public diplomacy and
public affairs, she set the tone to continue a disastrous policy of outreach
with Islamist partners,” Emerson told the House International Relations
Committee. Among the recipients of the State Department grants actively
championed by Hughes was Ahmed Younes, formerly an official with the Muslim
Public Affairs Council (MPAC), a group that has “publicly challenged the
designation of Hezbollah and Hamas as terrorist organizations” and whose leaders
“have made extreme statements defending terrorist organizations,” Emerson said.
The report said the new initiative was the brainchild of Karen Hughes, a confidante of President Bush who has become the most powerful public-diplomacy czar ...
The State Department has collaborated with many radical Islamist
organizations and individuals in its attempts to engage in outreach to the
American Muslim community at large, Investigative Project on Terrorism (IPT)
Executive Director Steven Emerson told a congressional panel Thursday. Many of
the individuals in charge of these organizations, and the organizations
themselves, have been convicted, indicted, or designated as unindicted
co-conspirators in terrorism cases throughout the United States.

Emerson appeared before the House Committee on Foreign Affairs, Subcommittee
on Terrorism, Nonproliferation, and Trade came despite the protests of some of
the same Islamist organizations. Emerson urged Congress to review the State
Department's interaction with these organizations in its attempts to reach out
to the Muslim community.
Emerson outlined some of the more troubling aspects of participation with
these groups: namely their ties to terrorist entities and promotion of radical
Islamic ideology. A number of groups that the State Department has cooperated
with have links to entities such as Al Qaeda, Hamas and Hizballah - which are
designated as terrorist organizations by the United States government. The
groups partnering with the State Department help to support an ideology that
focuses on eliminating secular Western powers and promoting their stringent
ideas of Sharia law, or law as governed by Islamic text.

While the outreach to the Muslim community by the State Department "is an
honorable and worthwhile pursuit, the State Department has conducted outreach to
the wrong groups, sending a terrible message to moderate Muslims who are
thoroughly disenfranchised by the funding, hosting and embracing of radical
groups that purport to be opposed to terrorism and extremism," Emerson wrote in
his testimony further stressing the idea that the State Department's polices
need to be reanalyzed in order to better select which Islamic organizations
receive funding in order to promote peace and understanding.
Prior to Emerson's testimony, Senators Tom Coburn (R-OK) and Jon Kyl (R-AZ)
both expressed their concerns over the State Department's funding and support of
these organizations to Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice. They collaborated on
a letter in
which they urge Secretary Rice to stop funding entities that support radical
Islamic ideology. The senators' concerns are that despite these organizations'
known connections to radical terrorism entities, the State Department has
willingly participated in awarding grants of about $500,000 to the Islamic
Society of North America (ISNA), an unindicted
co-conspirator in a Hamas fundraising trial with a long history of support
for Hamas itself, and other radical Islamic organizations for programs that
could help to promote or fund future terrorist ideology and violence.

Subcommittee Chairman Brad Sherman (D-CA) also was interested in ways to
reform State Department outreach funding. He suggested creating a questionnaire
for prospective grant recipients. Among the areas it would ask about are past
connections to radical groups, whether the applicant condemns terrorist groups
such as Hizballah and Hamas and whether their board members ever were connected
to the Muslim Brotherhood or other radical groups. (More here)

Sherman Oaks, CA – On Tuesday, the Muslim Public Affairs Council
(MPAC) demonstrated in front of the Office of Congressman Brad
Sherman, Chairman of the House Subcommittee on Terrorism and
Nonproliferation. The demonstrators demanded the cancellation of a
subcommittee hearing on whether American foreign aid is going to
organizations affiliated with terrorists.
"This hearing will go on. We need to make sure that the State
Department is not giving U.S. tax dollars to those on the other side
in the war on terrorism," said Sherman. "I know there are many in our
community so desperate for peace that they want us to sweep under the
rug the pro-terrorism positions of some groups. There are groups in
the Islamic world truly dedicated to peace, but we should not blind
ourselves to the fact that some are not."
The day of the 9/11 terrorist attacks, MPAC executive Salam Al-
Marayati created a furor when he stated on a Los Angeles radio
program, "If we are going to look at suspects, we should look at
groups that benefit the most from these kinds of incidents, and I
think we should put the State of Israel on the suspect list…"[1]
Two brothers have played a critical role in leading MPAC. Maher
Hathout is a senior adviser and one of the founders of MPAC, while
his brother Hassan Hathout served as MPAC's president.
In the "about the authors" section of his book, Hassan Hathout is
described as "a close disciple of the late Hassan Al-Banna of
Egypt,"[2] the founder of the Muslim Brotherhood.
Maher Hathout has praised Hassan Al-Turabi as a reformist working for
peace and justice for all.[3] Hassan Al-Turabi was head of the Sudan
National Islamic Front (NIF) which the U.S. government condemned for
supporting terrorism, and for launching a genocidal war in southern
Sudan. Al-Turabi has been described as the "power behind the throne"
in Sudan during the 1990s, as leader of the NIF and as Speaker of the
National Assembly.[4] Turabi gave Osama Bin Laden sanctuary in
Sudan.[5]
Maher Hathout has also asserted that "Hezbollah is fighting for
freedom" and that the organization is "very American".[6] In fact,
Hezbollah is listed by the State Department as a terrorist
organization.
Regardless, U.S. Rep. Peter Hoekstra, R-Holland, offered an amendment last week to the 2009 Intelligence Authorization Act that would ban financing for any restriction on such words. Reps. Joe Knollenberg, R-Bloomfield Hills, Thaddeus McCotter, R-Livonia, and Bart Stupak, D-Menominee, also voted for the amendment.
"None of the funds authorized to be appropriated by this act may be used to prohibit or discourage the use of the words or phrases 'jihadist,' 'jihad,' 'Islamo-fascism,' 'caliphate,' 'Islamist' or 'Islamic terrorist' by or within the intelligence community or the Federal Government," the amendment reads. It was approved by a 249-180 vote in the House. The Senate is working on its own authorization bill, and no such amendment has been offered, to date.
"I am sympathetic to the argument that if used inappropriately, the words can be counterproductive, but I find that the people who are criticizing this are very short on alternatives," Hoekstra said. "So how do they want us to describe al-Qaida and what they are involved with?"

Iran signaled Thursday that it will
no longer cooperate with U.N. experts probing for signs of clandestine nuclear
weapons work, confirming the investigation is at a dead end a year after it
began. The announcement from Iranian Vice President Gholam Reza Aghazadeh
compounded skepticism about denting Tehran
nuclear defiance, just five days after Tehran stonewalled demands from six world
powers that it halt activities capable of producing the fissile core of
warheads.

AMERICA'S CHAMBERLAIN
Some months ago I worried here
that the quiet in Iraq might be at least in part the result of a deal made
between America and Iran: in exchange for Tehran’s calling off the bombers in
Iraq to help put another Republican into the White House, the Bush
administration would undertake not to attack Iran. Yesterday’s Guardian story that America is to station diplomats in Iran
for the first time since the Islamic Revolution of 1979 and intends to
send a senior official, William Burns (pictured above), to
discuss Iran’s nuclear program with Iranian officials can only deepen
that fear. Unless this is all an elaborate bluff, the suspicion must be that
what the Bush administration is now focused upon is not safeguarding the
survival of Israel and the freedom of the world but on winning the presidency
for the Republicans. After all, Bush has now effectively stolen Obama’s line of
talking to Iran without preconditions. McCain, of course, has put himself in the
opposite camp to Obama over Iran. If he doesn’t condemn this Bush volte-face in
the loudest possible terms, the suspicion can only deepen that this is the very
dirtiest kind of deal.
Meanwhile Israel is being isolated by America, which is giving Iran a further
gift of the thing it most craves – time to build its nuclear weapons capability.
What should be happening now is that the Iranian regime should be under the
maximum economic diplomatic and military pressure, treated as a pariah state and
kept guessing about the possibility of a US attack, all in order to weaken and
destabilise it. Instead this latest act of craven American appeasement will
strengthen it because it displays in flashing neon lights the message that
America hasn’t got a clue what to do about Iran and so could Tehran kindly help
it out of this jam, please. Far from avoiding war, this only makes it more
likely – and more likely also that when that terrible eventuality occurs, Iran
will be on the front foot.
History teaches us, after all, that war is the inevitable outcome of
appeasement because, instead of preventing bad people from doing bad things, it
galvanises them further to do so. When the Americans talked to the Japanese, the
result was Pearl Harbour. When Chamberlain talked to Hitler, the result was the
invasion of Poland. And when Britain tried to appease the Arab Nazis in 1930s
Palestine by offering to reward them for their terrorist intransigence by giving
them half the land promised to the Jews, the result was the Arab war of
annihilation against the reborn Jewish state -- a war which continues to this
day.
Moreover, Iran is as strong as it is today only because of the astounding
fact that America has refused to fight back in the war that Iran has been
prosecuting against it now for almost three decades. When its people were taken
hostage at the US embassy, Jimmy Carter infamously sat on his hands. When more
than 240 Americans were murdered when Iran bombed the US marine barracks, the US
did virtually nothing. When Iran fomented attacks in Iraq and blew up coalition
troops by its roadside bombs, America gave orders to its military that there
were to be no covert ops in Iran and not even any hot pursuit of Iranian
terrorists over the border. And when Iran turned Lebanon into a proxy
battleground and stifled the nascent Lebanese democracy, America looked the
other way. So much for the ‘Bush doctrine’.

by a man who had been arguably the most pro-Israel American president in
history.Yet now he is giving the impression that – in the prescient cry of
Ariel Sharon – Israel is to play the role of Czechoslovakia in 1938, with

reach a suicidal deal with Fatah to establish what would inevitably be a
Palestinian terror state.

Gerry Connolly, who is the Democratic nominee for Congress in Virginia's 11th District -- offered a strong defense of the school and accused the school's critics of slander during the meeting in which the lease was approved. Connelly is runningfor Congress. Who would vote for this jihad lover, whatever your party affiliation? Accusing great Americans of slander, it is he who is slanderous. I would love to read his list of donors, I betcha it is chuck full of Saudi blood money.
The mainstream media is finally catching up on this story and it's a jaw dropper. Connelly should be arrested for aiding and abetting the enemy on native soil.

Al-Shabnan Charged With Failure To Report Child Abuse
The director of a Saudi government-funded Islamic school has been
arrested and charged with failing to report a child abuse allegation,
adding to scrutiny of the northern Virginia academy as protesters came
out Tuesday to call for a federal investigation of its teachings.
Abdalla I. Al-Shabnan,
director of the Islamic Saudi Academy, was also charged with
obstruction of justice, according to a police report about the June 9
arrest.
The misdemeanor counts come at a time when the private school
is under heavy criticism from a federal commission and others over
textbooks that allegedly teach violence and hate. More than a
dozen protesters lined up outside the school Tuesday, waving signs that
read "Saudi hate is not an American family value" and "Islamic Shariah
teaches violence and hate."

The protesters, including the conservative Traditional Values
Coalition, want the Justice and State departments to investigate the
school. The State Department last year obtained copies of the school's textbooks but has so far refused to make them public.
Andrea Lafferty, executive director of the Traditional Values
Coalition, said the arrest of al-Shabnan is just further evidence of
problems at the school. "The academy is a virtual one-stop
shopping center for law enforcement," she said, citing the case of a
former school valedictorian, Ahmed Omar Abu Ali, who was convicted of
joining al-Qaida after leaving the school and plotting to assassinate
President Bush.
Al-Shabnan's arrest came after police alleged he
covered up an incident in which a 5-year-old girl attending the school
reported that she was being sexually abused by her father.
According to court papers, Al-Shabnan, 52, of McLean, told police that
he didn't believe the girl, and advised the girl's parents to put her
into counseling. But state law requires school authorities to
report alleged child abuse within 72 hours of learning of the
allegation.
Al-Shabnan is free pending trial. Police said in
court papers that Al-Shabnan ordered a written report about the girl's
complaint, which had been prepared by other school officials, to be
deleted from a school computer.
Al-Shabnan has not returned repeated phone calls and e-mails from The Associated Press seeking comment over the last week.
Last week, a federal commission issued a report detailing numerous
troubling passages from school textbooks. A 12th-grade text on Quranic
interpretation teaches students that it is permissible for Muslims to
kill adulterers and converts from Islam, according to the investigation
by the U.S. Commission on International Religious Freedom, a panel
created by Congress that monitors religious freedom rights around the
world.
12th grade? They are teaching this sedition and treason and murder to 17 year olds and the State department is protecting them. Who the hell is the State department working for?
Other passages in the school's textbooks state that "the
Jews conspired against Islam and its people" and that Muslims are
permitted to take the lives and property of those deemed "polytheists."
The school issued a statement saying the textbooks had been
mistranslated and misinterpreted and that some of the textbooks studied
by the commission are no longer in use. But the statement offered no
detailed explanation of the specific passages cited by the commission,
and school officials have not returned calls seeking comment.
Generally, the school has said in the past that some of the textbooks
it uses come from Saudi Arabia and contain harsh language inappropriate
for use in the United States. The school has said it revises the
textbooks as needed. Indeed, the commission found evidence that
individual passages were removed from individual textbooks, sometimes
covered up with correction fluid.
But John Cosgrove
of Springfield, Va., one of the protesters outside the school, said the
revisions are even more troubling given the passages cited in the
commission's report that were not deleted. "It stands to reason that the material they left in is material they think is acceptable," Cosgrove said.
The commission and other critics of the school say the State Department
ought to take a more assertive role in regulating the school because it
functions as an arm of the Saudi embassy.

Fairfax County specifically gives the State Department the right to intervene if it has concerns about the academy.
Protesters also criticized the Fairfax County Board of Supervisors for
voting unanimously last month to extend the school's lease. The lease
was extended after county officials conducted their own review of the
textbooks and said they didn't find any serious problems. The board's chairman -- Gerry Connolly,
who is the Democratic nominee for Congress in Virginia's 11th District
-- offered a strong defense of the school and accused the school's
critics of slander during the meeting in which the lease was approved.

Hizbullah party leaders during her surprise visit to Lebanon Monday,
The New York Times reported. She also spoke with Lebanese President
Michel Suleiman about the future of the eight-square mile Shebaa Farms
in the Mount Dov area at Israel's northern border. He has claimed
sovereignty over the area.
Her agreeing to speak with leaders of Hizbullah, which the United
States has condemned as a terrorist organization, signaled her support
of a political compromise that was forged between pro- and anti-Syrian
factions in the Lebanese government last month.

Pamela: You were at AIPAC and I saw that most of the panels that dealt with the Palestinian issue are still talking two state solution as if its de facto. Don't you think that's putting the cart before the horse. And don't you think American Jewish leadership should take a more proactive role in denouncing this plan?
Sharansky:I don't think American Jewish leadership has to take a more active role in denouncing this plan. I think everybody in the American Jewish leadership should open their eyes and BTW the overwhelming majority of Israelis [inaudible] don't think that peace can be achieved -- that at this moment there is no Palestinian leader who really believes in the two state solution And the more we participate it this process the more the Palestinians operate against this option. We are seeing a very interesting cooperation between the enemies of Israel who want to destroy Israel, and that's why they don't believe in a two state solution. They believe there will be one state where Israel, simply as a Jewish state, will disappear. And at the same time, multiculturalists, professors, so called liberals, speak more and more against a Jewish state and want one state for the citizens. But that means in fact - the same - disappearance of Israel as a Jewish state...... so the thing is, it's not because of us stopping it, but because of the logic, the reality that the two state solution has become irrelevant and I don't think we have to take the initiative in fighting against this theory not but it's not because we are not ready for this , it is because there are so many hopes of fundamentalists, on one hand, and multiculturists on the other hand, that the Jewish state of Israel will disappear.
I disagree with Sharansky here. We must be more vocal about it. It is being pursuing vigorously -- I guess "reality and logic" are not in Condi and co's vocabulary. Their "thinking" is hardwired for delusion not logic.

WASHINGTON, May 6 (UPI) -- U.S. officials are being advised
in internal government documents to avoid referring publicly to
al-Qaida and other terrorist groups as Islamic or Muslim, and not to
use terms like jihad or mujahedin, which "unintentionally legitimize"
terrorism.
"There's a growing consensus (in the administration) that we need
to move away from that language," said a former senior administration
official who was involved until recently in policy debates on the issue.
Instead, in two documents circulated last month by the National
Counter-Terrorism Center, the multiagency center charged with strategic
coordination of the U.S. war on terrorism, officials are urged to use
terms like violent extremists, totalitarian and death cult to
characterize al-Qaida and other terror groups.
"Avoid labeling everything 'Muslim.' It reinforces the 'U.S. vs.
Islam' framework that al-Qaida promotes," reads "Words that Work and
Words that Don't: A Guide for Counter-Terrorism Communication,"
produced last month by the center.

A reliable source has informed me that Condoleeza Rice has approved
a new lexicon for State Department usage, absolutely forbidding the use
of the terms "jihad" and "jihadist" by any State Department official.
The argument, of course, is the old Streusand/Guirard claim that by
using the word jihad, we're validating the jihadist claim to be waging
jihad. Of course, it's ridiculous to think that the U.S. State
Department carries any validating authority within the Islamic world to
determine what is Islam and what isn't. This would be the first time
that unbelievers have set the meaning of Islamic theology for Muslims.
Also, the claim is that by using the word "jihad," we are insulting
the peaceful Muslims who are waging the daily jihad of the struggle
against sin, the struggle against the dirty dishes, etc. And that's
great, if that's what any Muslim actually believes is the sum and
substance of jihad, but it is an understanding of jihad that is at odds
with the Qur'an, the Sunnah, and all the schools of Islamic
jurisprudence. Will Muslims be insulted by a reference to other Muslims
using the traditional primary meaning of jihad? Answer: probably. But
that doesn't negate the traditional status of that meaning, or the
influence of that traditional view in the Islamic world.

A MYSTERIOUS Israeli military strike on a suspected nuclear site in Syria
last month was opposed by Condoleezza Rice, the American secretary of state,
because she feared it would destabilise the region, according to a report this
weekend.
Rice persuaded the Israelis to delay their operation, but not to call it off,
after US officials were presented with “jaw-dropping” evidence of Syrian nuclear
activity, the report said.
The Sunday Times revealed two weeks ago that Israeli commandos had seized
samples of nuclear material, said to be of North Korean origin, during a daring
raid on a Syrian military facility to prove to the Americans that an air attack
was essential.
According to ABC News, Rice led the opposition inside the Bush administration
to the Israeli strike, persuading them to shelve initial plans to hit the Syrian
facility in the week of July 14.
The nuclear samples seized by ground commandos remain unidentified, but
defence and intelligence sources in Washington believe they may have been
connected to uranium enrichment.
Ilan Berman, a Middle East expert at the American Foreign Policy Council,
said: “The consensus is that Israel struck a nuclear facility and the
probability is that it was linked to enriching uranium.”

Rice replied: "It's, I would say, still a story-in-progress on Hamas, in
particular, because I think there's plenty of evidence now that one reason that
