Dhimmi Jewicidals at JCRC and AJC Condemn AFDI Pro-Israel Ads

Look how tough these Jews are when it comes to going after their own who are brave enough not to hide behind the genocidal rhetoric of the annihilators. Are we to understand that these liberal Jews sanction the jihad war on innocent civilians in Israel?

Where are their knee-jerk condemnations of the vile anti-Semitism on college campuses, in the Occupy movement, and in Muslim media? Why have they never condemned the anti-semitism in the quran?  It incites the Muslim world to Jewish genocide?  One Jew calls out annihilationists and this is their reaction? Even the Judenrat didn't protect and defend the Nazis' war on the Jews. They went along, but they didn't advance and promote it. This is just sick.

Statement from the Jewish Community Relations Council and the American Jewish Committee San Francisco 

Last week, a new advertisement appeared on Muni buses in San Francisco, placed by the American Freedom Defense Initiative. The Bay Area’s organized Jewish community takes great offense to the ad’s inflammatory and anti-Muslim language. We are steadfast in our support of Israel and our concern about the growing threat of Islamic radicalism, and steadfast in our opposition to anti- Muslim stereotypes.

We have long been concerned that the repeated appearance of offensive anti-Israel ads would turn our local public transit system into a battleground for the Israeli-Arab conflict; we are no less concerned by offensive anti-Muslim ads. We urge all transit authorities to reassess their policies and to construct advertising policies consistent with laws governing protected speech that preserve public transit as a safe space for all passengers.

It's a staple of enemedia coverage that these ads are "anti-Muslim," but actually the words Islam and Muslim never appear in the ads. Nor does the ad say that all Muslims are savages -- again, contrary to media myth. The premise of my ad was that a war on innocent civilians is savage. And that is a fact. As long as the Palestinian Authority continues its savage policy of fomenting violence, promoting hatred, and teaching Palestinian children to hate, the number of young Muslims willing to blow themselves up or to slit Israeli throats will continue to increase. That is savage. The Palestinian Authority propaganda of Holocaust-denial, calls for the killing of the Jews, and glorification of bloodthirsty jihadis is savage.

Tell me again why the word "savage" is inaccurate. The targeting of civilians is savage. The relentless 60-year campaign of terror against the Jewish people is savage. The torture of hostage Gilad Shalit was savage. The bloody hacking to death of the Fogel family was savage. The Munich Olympic massacre was savage. The unspeakable torture of Ehud Goldwasser was savage. The tens of thousands of rockets fired from Gaza into southern Israel (into schools, homes, etc.) are savage. The vicious Jew-hatred behind this genocide is savage. The endless demonization of the Jewish people in the Palestinian and Arab media is savage. The refusal to recognize the state of Israel as a Jewish state is savage. The list is endless.

But note that this is the only press release the JCRC has issued in all of 2012. These dhimmis have nothing whatsoever to say about the genocidal rhetoric broadcast on official "Palestinian" Authority TV on a regular basis. They have nothing to say about Obama's ongoing harassment of Israel. The increasing levels of anti-Semitism in Europe and around the world? Not a word. The only thing that has moved the JCRC to speak are defiantly and forthrightly pro-Israel ads. The JCRC and AJC are a disgrace.

Supporters of the JCRC and the AJC who genuinely support Israel and the Jewish people should withdraw their support from those organizations -- and support AFDI. Help keep these ads running. Contribute here, and get the tee shirts here.

It’s like saying that I want my heart removed from my body.

When the Los Angeles Jewish Federation stopped me from speaking last month, I said that Zionism was not welcome at the Jewish Federation. I didn’t know just how right I was. Last week Lori Lowenthal Marcus, the U.S. correspondent for the Jewish Press, reported that “in what has been described as ‘a closeted and cowardly move,’ the Jewish Federations of North America last week rejected the inclusion of the term ‘Zionism’ in a major system-wide planning document.”

According to Marcus, “Richard Wexler, former chair of the Chicago Federation and national chairman of the United Jewish Appeal in the late ‘90s, revealed yesterday, July 26, that JFNA’s leaders have rejected the inclusion of the term ‘Zionism’ in their Global Planning Table Work Group Report because the term ‘is too controversial.’”

“I am beyond disappointed and upset,” Wexler said. Marcus explained, “The rejection of Zionism by JFNA leaders was described by Wexler in his blogpost and in comments to The Jewish Press, as a continuing trend by Federations to distance themselves from Israel.”

This is the most mind-numbing and sickening news. Despite their carefully crafted half-denial, this is an attempt to distance themselves from Israel. And that is suicidal. The Jewish people are Israel. It’s like saying that I want to distance myself from myself. Or I want my heart removed from my body. I don’t want it anymore.

But in response to Marcus’s article, Jerry Silverman, the president and chief executive officer of the Jewish Federations of North America, issued a statement: “On July 27, 2012,” Silverman said, “Lori Lowenthal Marcus wrote accusing the Jewish Federations of North America of moving away from its support of Israel and Zionism.  Nothing could be further from the truth. The ongoing support of Israel is fundamental to Federations and to JFNA. Our system sends hundreds of millions of dollars each year to Israel to support the vulnerable, to assist in education programs, to help new immigrants, to assist in job and skills development, and to provide concrete expressions of solidarity during Israel’s darkest hours. We connect American Jews to Israel and Israelis by supporting birthright and other youth and young adult programs, community and national missions to Israel, and innovative partnerships between our communities and Israeli communities. We are proud to be holding our 2013 General Assembly in Israel, where we will have an opportunity to highlight the important work we do with our partners in Israel.”

This is not Zionism. The Federation’s statement is clearly a deflection. Helping Jews throughout the world including in Israel is altogether different from Zionism.

I asked Marcus about this, and she pointed out that Silverman’s statement doesn’t say anything about the central claim of her article: that the Federation rejected use of the term “Zionism” in its Global Planning Table Work Group Report. She told me: “I stand by the story exactly as written — as written, some have not read it carefully and misreadings on both sides have blurred facts. It’s regrettable the JFNA folks chose not to respond to my queries and only issued a non-responsive statement after the article was already published.”

This is in line with what Steven M. Goldberg, national vice chairman of the Zionist Organization of America and chair of the ZOA Los Angeles chapter, told me about the Federation’s cancelation of my speech: “What happened to you in Los Angeles was not a momentary aberration. It was part of a pattern that defines the Federation.” The burying of the term “Zionism” for being too “controversial” is a manifestation of the same moral cowardice. So is what journalist Caroline Glick termed in April 2011 the “Jewish Federation’s financial and organizational support for University of California at Irvine’s Olive Tree Initiative,” a tour of Israel for Jewish students in the U.S.

The Olive Tree Initiative, Glick explains, “claims to be interested in fostering good relations between Jewish and Arab students,” but “it actually just propagandizes against Israel. The speakers who addressed students participating in the two-week trip were overwhelmingly anti-Israel. Almost all the Palestinian speakers expressed hatred for Israel. Many of the Israeli speakers represented groups that call for economic warfare against Israel and defame Israel as a racist state. Half of the supposedly neutral representatives of international organizations who spoke to the group are notorious for their opposition to Israel.”

This is the most mind-numbing and sickening news. What is the point of these fat, bloated, morally bankrupt organizations? Theie attempt to distance themselves from Israel is suicidal. Jewicidal. The Jewish people are Israel. It's like saying that I want to distance myself from myself. Or I want my heart removed from my body. I don't want it anymore.

The kapos had a gun to their head. What is the Federation's excuse?

There is such a vacuum in Jewish lay leadership in America. It is devastating.

In what has been described as “a closeted and cowardly move,” the Jewish Federations of North America last week rejected the inclusion of the term “Zionism” in a major system-wide planning document.

The JFNA’s Global Planning Table is the mechanism by which JFNA and Federation leadership come together to determine the allocation of dollars for new Federation initiatives outside of the United States.  The Report issued by this collaborative is considered a building block of the allocations decision making process, and it was the call to include Zionism in the recent report that was rejected.  The Global Planning Table page of the JFNA website does not include either the term Zionism or Israel.

Richard Wexler, former chair of the Chicago Federation and national chairman of the United Jewish Appeal in the late ’90′s, revealed yesterday, July 26, that JFNA’s leaders have rejected the inclusion of the term “Zionism” in their Global Planning Table Work Group Report  because the term “is too controversial.”

In 2008 Wexler stepped down from his position as chairman of the United Israel Appeal, a subsidiary of what later became the JFNA.  He also was one of the architects of the merger of United Jewish Communities, the umbrella group for the local Federations.  Even while in a leadership position, however,  Wexler was critical of the management culture, writing in his blog “UJ Thee and Me” that “criticism is not merely ignored, it is not tolerated.”

Some fear the JFNA move will be seen as a watered-down acceptance of the notion that Zionism is to blame for the problems in the Middle East, or at the very least an effort to hold at arms length the idea that Jews are entitled to a national homeland.

“I am beyond disappointed and upset,” Wexler told The Jewish Press, about the decision to hide from the idea of Zionism.  He said, “that is at the heart of all we do.”

Members of the GPT work group who were present at the meeting and frustrated by the outcome told Wexler about the decision.

One of those most closely involved in this decision making effort was Joanne Moore, senior vice president for JFNA’s Global Planning Department.  Moore oversees the Global Planning Table, JFNA’s research department and the General Assembly.

Prior to joining JFNA, Moore, a former U.S. Peace Corps volunteer, spent more than a dozen years working on USAID-funded public health projects in Africa, Haiti and Asia.  She also was a consultant to the Institute of Reproductive Health.   In addition, Moore had been a lay leader in various capacities for JFNA.  Moore did not respond to a request for comment.

The rejection of Zionism by JFNA leaders was described by Wexler in his blogpost and in comments to The Jewish Press, as a continuing trend by Federations to distance themselves from Israel.

Several years ago, Federations changed the name of their non-domestic efforts, which had been called their Israel and Overseas Department, to the Global Operations Department.  In response to pushback from local leaders, the name was changed once again to Global Operations: Israel and Overseas.

Further evidence of this trend, according to Wexler, is a drift from the close connections the JFNA had with its actual overseas partners, the Jewish Joint Distribution Committee, and the Jewish Agency for Israel.

Acknowledging that there might be better, more efficient ways for the Federations to encourage North American Jewry with Israel than through the Joint or JAFI, he was adamant that this latest decision — the excision of the term Zionism from their planning documents — was morally disastrous.

“What we cannot permit is an implicit denial of the centrality of Israel in our lives and a denial [of] the absolute responsibility we as Diaspora Jewish leaders have to engage more Jews here with Israel.”

Ask yourself this question. How is it that a Jewish woman speaking about Zionism and the threats against Jews is not only unacceptable to the Jewish Federation of LA but that it didn’t become unacceptable to them until the day before the event. As Breitbart put it:

On Sunday morning, the very morning of the event, after promising ZOA the use of a meeting room for the purpose of Pamela Geller’s presentation – after permitting ZOA to sell tickets – The Jewish Federation of Los Angeles retracted permission for the use of the room.

Pam put it best in her introduction:

“Imagine, that it’s easier to throw a Jew under the bus than to stand up against a group that is the US affiliate of Hamas!”

To the LA Jewish Federation who caved undetermined “security concerns”, to say it a disgrace is self-evident, to say it is UuAmerican is superfluous let me tell you what this really is:

On the morning of June 24th, author, blogger, speaker, executive director, and co-founder with Robert Spencer of Stop the Islamization of America (SIOA), Pamela Geller was denied her First Amendment Constitutional right of freedom of speech by The Jewish Federation of Los Angeles – just hours before she was scheduled to speak at an event organized by the Zionist Organization of America – West (ZOA).  The Jewish Federation cited security concerns as reason for the virtually last minute cancellation. The Jewish Federation caved in to a so called “interfaith coalition,” including Islamist and radical leftist Israel- bashing groups: Council on American-Islamic Relations – Greater Los Angeles, (CAIR-LA), Interfaith Communities United for Justice and Peace (ICUJP), Islamic Circle of North America - Southern California (ICNA), Islamic Shura Council of Southern California, Jewish Voice for Peace - Los Angeles (JVP-L.A.),  L.A. Jews for Peace, Muslim American Society - Greater Los Angeles (MAS-LA), Muslim Public Affairs Council (MPAC), Muslim Ummah of North America, Southern California (MUNA), and Progressive Christians Uniting (PCU).

The night before Geller was scheduled to speak, CAIR and MPAC sent out simultaneous nationwide emails from this interfaith coalition stating the following:

We are extremely shocked and alarmed to see a mainstream Jewish organization associating itself with one of the nation's leading Islamophobes…Religious leaders and institutions have an increased and urgent responsibility to promote tolerance and mutual understanding among all Americans, instead of giving aid and comfort to fear-mongers like Geller.

The Jewish Federation permitted itself to be used as an enforcer of Islamic Shari’ah Law. Under Shari’ah law, slander forbids the mere criticism of Islam.  In Reliance of the Traveller: A Classical Manual of Islamic Sacred Law, slander is defined as follows:

Slander (ghiba) means to mention anything concerning a person that he would dislike, whether about his body, religion, everyday life, self, disposition, property, son, father, wife, servant, turban, garment, gait, movements, smiling, dissoluteness, frowning, cheerfulness, or anything else connected with him.

 Note that this statement is diametrically opposed to the U.S. definition of slander. In Shari’ah Law, a statement is considered slander if it is critical of Islam, regardless of whether it is true or false. Under U.S. law only false statements are considered slander. From Black’s Law Dictionary:

Slander, n: 1. A defamatory statement…

Defamation. 1) The act of harming the reputation of another by making a false statement to a third person.  If the alleged defamation involves a matter if public concern, the plaintiff is constitutionally required to prove both the statement’s falsity and the defendants fault.  2) A false written or oral statement that damages another’s reputation.

Our constitution guarantees freedom of speech to every one of us here in America.  The Islamists in this country want to take it away from us.  Shari’ah Law has no place in a free country – a country for which heroic, red-blooded-American soldiers fight to uphold our Constitution – many paying the ultimate price.  We who are not in uniform have to defend that right ourselves through the courageous use of our freedom of speech.  

The Jewish Federation of Los Angeles has disgraced itself by opposing freedom of speech in order to appease those who have precisely the goal of denying us the use of that right.

Don’t expect Pamela Geller to give to the Jewish Federation of Greater Los Angeles any time soon. Citing security concerns, the federation canceled a scheduled talk by the right-wing blogger in its building. The planned talk was sponsored by the Zionist Organization of America, which is a federation tenant, and its topic was “Islamic Jew-Hatred: The Root Cause of the Failure to Achieve Peace.” Geller promptly took to her blog to lambaste federation officials. “Shame on our cowardly leadership for throwing one of our own under the bus,” Geller wrote. “We expect that from kapos, not from proud Jews who should hold the freedom of speech as a fundamental Jewish value.” Geller gained national attention two years ago for her loud activism against a proposed Islamic cultural center and mosque near Ground Zero. The Anti-Defamation League has alleged that Geller “fuels and fosters anti-Muslim bigotry in society.”

Shari Goodman has penned an excellent column at Family Security Matters over the LA Jewish Federation's sniveling capitulation to Hamas groups' demands to cancel my lecture for ZOA (Zionist Organization of America). Shameful, weak and feckless. Richard Sandler and Jay Sanderson are still getting blowback for their abject cowardice (and they receive upwards of $500,000 for their spinelessness).

Today's Judenrat Shari Goodman, Family Security Matters

The recent cancellation by the Jewish Federation of Greater Los Angeles of Pamela Geller's speech to the Zionist Organization of America should serve as a wake up call for the rest of the Jewish Community. The cancellation came at the request and pressure from the usual Muslim Brotherhood front groups such as CAIR and the Muslim Public Affairs Council. For fear of being labeled Islamophobic and right wing extremists, the Federation gave up a basic Jewish and American ideal......the right to speak freely.

During World War II, the Judenrat (Jewish Councils) were established by the Nazis to facilitate the transfer of Jews to concentration camps and to aid with the confiscation of Jewish property. The Jews who served on those councils believed that their appeasement would be collectively beneficial for Jews and that they themselves would be spared. The Nazis murdered them along with their fellow Jews, and the ones who survived were labeled as "kapos" by Jewish survivors. It was a derogatory term reserved for those who aided and abetted the annihilation of Jews.

After the war, there were incidences of retribution by survivors for those identified kapos for the sins they committed against their fellow Jews. Today's capitulation to the dictates of the Muslim Brotherhood (a terrorist organization that seeks the annihilation of Jews) by the Jewish Federation is reminiscent of the actions of the Judenrat who too aided the annihilators of Jews. Coupled with the Federation's sponsorship of the Olive Tree Initiative, which under the guise of "peace" sends college age Jewish American youth to meet with Hamas representatives in the Middle East, their actions should leave no doubt that the Jewish Federation is no longer representing Jewish or American interests.

Pamela Geller's speech placed the root cause of the Middle East conflict on the Islamic doctrine of Jew hatred which permeates all Muslim countries. It is found in numerous passages throughout the Quran and Hadith (collection of Mohammad's words). While Islam is recognized and designated as a religion by the United States, only about 20% of Islamic doctrine has a religious component. The vast majority of Islamic doctrine is political, legal, and supremacist. Through numerous passages, Muslims are commanded to wage war upon the unbelievers. Passages such as the one below are rampant throughout Quranic doctrine.

"The last hour would not come unless the Muslims will fight against the Jews and the Muslims would kill them until the Jews would hide themselves behind a stone or a tree and a stone or a tree would say: Muslim, or the servant of Allah, there is a Jew behind me; come and kill him." (Sahih Muslim, 41:6985; see also 41:6981-84 and Sahih Bukhari, 4:52:176,177 and 4:56:791)

Mohammad: "I have been ordered to wage war against mankind until they accept that there is no god but Allah and that they believe that I am His prophet and accept all revelations spoken through me. When they do these things I will protect their lives and property unless otherwise justified by Sharia, in which case their fate lies in Allah's hands." (Muslim 001, 0031)

Americans must be made aware of these passages and the numerous other commandments that seek our destruction; yet, because of the Muslim Brotherhood's influence in this country, there has been a blanket of silence by our mainstream media, academia, and religious leaders of all faiths. Under the guise of religious tolerance, the American public is nearly clueless of the stealth Jihad being waged here on our shores by an enemy that uses our laws and the climate of political correctness against us. Without the truth about Islam, yes Islam....not radical Islam since there is only one Islam, we cannot wage a viable defense.

Years of multi-cultural indoctrination have provided the fertile ground necessary for this civilizational jihad from within. We have been brainwashed to believe that all cultures are equal; thus, criticism of Islam is quickly labeled as "Islamophobia", and those like Geller who have the courage to risk reputation and life by ringing the alarm about Islamic doctrine are branded as hate-mongers and right wing bigots. It is a plan well orchestrated by the Muslim Brotherhood, as outlined in a document found during an FBI raid on a house in Virginia in the 1990's, and presented as evidence during the 2007 Holy Land Foundation trial in Texas, where all of the defendants were found guilty of funneling millions of dollars to Hamas.

Sharia law designated criticism of Islam or Mohammad as a crime punishable by death. The United Nations led by the Organization of Islamic Conference is urging a global adoption of a resolution that forbids criticism of Islam under the guise of hate speech. Our own State Department under Hillary Clinton seeks to adopt such a policy even though it conflicts with our right to free speech as guaranteed by our Constitutional First Amendment. Should Barrack Hussein Obama win re-election, his next terms will most likely guarantee such an adoption.

There is demonstrable evidence which supports the belief that the Muslim Brotherhood is alive and well here in the United States.

"There is hundreds [sic] of examples of departments and agencies that meet with CAIR on a range of issues," George Selim, the White House's new director for community partnerships, told The Daily Caller June 7.

Haaretz has weighed in on the still-roiling controversy over my canceled appearance at the LA Jewish Federation Sunday. The article is a wearisome melange of the same old half-truths and naked slanders that the Left and the Islamic supremacists have been circulating about me for years -- most all of them are rebutted here, on a page that has also been available for years but that the "journalists" at Haaretz didn't see fit to consult or inform their readers about.

Haaretz's inverted moral compass is abundantly illustrated by the subhead, which calls me "one of America's most extraordinarily successful purveyors of unvarnished prejudice and unapologetic hatred." Imagine calling the defense of free speech, the freedom of conscience, and equality of rights for all "unvarnished prejudice and unapologetic hatred," while turning a blind eye to the real unvarnished prejudice and unapologetic hatred of Islamic antisemitism (it's in the quran) and the death penalty for apostates from Islam.

This is the disease of our age: calling evil good and good evil, and demonizing those who are standing against the onslaught of oppression and dehumanization that Sharia represents, just as all other collectivist, authoritarian systems did in the past.

Jewish Journal: Ice Cream, You Scream, We All Scream for Hamas

Wannabe hack reporter Jonah Lowenfeld surprises no one with his predictable hatchet job over at the Jewish Journal. From the first word in the headline, Lowenfeld abandons any pretense of objective journalism and accurate reporting. "Anti-Muslim" activist, he calls me: I'm not anti-Muslim. I love Muslims. I help Muslims. Our Summer Night for Human Rights event featured a panoply of Muslim speakers who have suffered and deserve better. I'm counter-jihad. Is Lowenfeld pro-jihad? Pro-clitorectomy? Pro-honor killing? Pro-Jew killing? Pro-Hindu killing? Because essentially that is the stance he is taking by covering up for this radical ideology and painting it as if it were Disneyland.

Lowenfeld was at our event, the Summer Night for Human Rights on Saturday night, where this obviously soulless creature was unmoved by the harrowing and heartbreaking testimony of Muslim after Muslim, sharing their terrible stories of leaving Islam in fear for their lives. There is no reportage or coverage of that event. And his questions to me were merely talking points from groups that aspire to annihilate his people. Yet despite his presence at our event, he also wrote nothing about what was said -- not a word about the three hours of riveting, harrowing, heartrending testimony from ex-Muslims who had been shunned, denounced, ostracized, threatened, and even stabbed simply for having the courage of their convictions. Instead, Lowenfeld gives glowing, lavish, loving coverage to the Bund-like Hamas-CAIR hate event, passing over this pro-Sharia group's tacit endorsement of the treatment of Muslim apostates, and instead painting a deceptively rosy picture:

Meanwhile, at the nearby Redondo Beach Performing Arts Center, about 500 Muslim men, women and children could be found in the parking lot outside, eating ice cream, Indian food or Fuddrucker’s cheeseburgers made with halal meat.

Ice cream and cheeseburgers, Jonah? Nothing about how Sharia violates the civil rights and human rights of women and non-Muslims, and threatens the lives of Muslim apostates such as those who spoke at our event? Nothing at all about how the concept of "Islamophobia," with which we are so relentlessly admonished, was invented by the Muslim Brotherhood in order to quell any dissent and frighten people into thinking that resisting jihad and Islamic supremacism is "bigoted"?

The program for CAIR-LA’s “A Summer Night for Civil Rights” included a pair of comedians and a few musical acts, separated by a short intermission, when the entire crowd filed out of the auditorium and into an adjacent courtyard for the prayer that takes place at sunset. Men and women, standing separately, removed their shoes and stood at the edges of long strips of butcher paper taped to the concrete. The prayers, conducted in Arabic, took about 10 minutes.

“The people behind Islamophobia are being exposed,” CAIR-LA Executive Director Hussam Ayloush told the crowd, noting that groups like his are pushing back against those who target Muslims. “Muslims are becoming, I guess, assertive, proud, courageous and standing up for their rights and standing up for their identity.”

In an interview on Monday, Ayloush said that he hadn’t known Geller was Jewish until last week, and that his group had initially intended to say nothing about her June 23 counter-protest. 

“When we found out that she was actually speaking at the Jewish Federation, which is a mainstream organization, we couldn’t ignore that anymore,” Ayloush said.

It's glaring that Lowenfeld doesn't probe or question Hamas-CAIR operatives like Ayloush, a man who has repeatedly refused to condemn Hamas and Hizballah. Nor does he conduct the hostile interview that he so energetically pursued with me. Ayloush said that Hamas-CAIR had intended to "say nothing about her June 23 counter-protest." Did Lowenfeld ask him, Why not? Why not address the human rights abuses under the Sharia that had caused so much suffering for that panel of almost a dozen Muslims? Of course Hamas-CAIR had nothing to say about that, but that was OK with Lowenfeld.

Ayloush goes on to say: "When we found out that she was actually speaking at the Jewish Federation, which is a mainstream organization, we couldn’t ignore that anymore." No, of course he couldn't ignore it. He knew that left-wing Jewish weaklings would cave. What they didn't know, and what the Jewish Federation didn't know, was that the blowback would not only continue, but get worse. Just as with the Ground Zero Mosque controversy, the elites underestimated the rational and reasoned "little people."

Ayloush is calling for an end to Zionism, likening it to the apartheid regime in South Africa, and declaring it to be "a political ideology whose tentacles are rooted in racism." Now that's real projection for ya.

Lowenfeld never questions Hamas-CAIR's ties to Hamas, the unindicted co-conspirator status CAIR was given in the largest terror-funding trial in our nation's history, the convictions of several of its leaders on jihad terror charges, or Hamas-CAIR's ties to the Muslim Brotherhood, an organization that is dedicated in its own words, according to a captured internal document, to "eliminating and destroying Western civilization from within."

Lowenfeld's silly piece is essentially a press release for Hamas-CAIR. That is hardly surprising. But Lowenfeld really went the extra mile. And while a hunchback can't see his own hunch, any objective person who reads this will spot Lowenfeld's naked bias.

That these declarations of unambiguous hatred are an obstacle to peace should be obvious even to the slowest of minds.

According to my sources at ZOA, the LA Jewish Federation has been apologizing profusely and repeatedly for cancelling my talk at JFed LA headquarters, and pleading for a hudna.

Apparently the whining Jewicidal left-wing donor kapos were the real threat. But this is gorgeous, and these cowards will long remember their stunning betrayal and fall from grace. The blowback was overwhelming, and proved too much for these craven quislings.

So when are you rescheduling, fellas?

LA Jewish Federation Cancels Event Citing Muslim Threats The Algemeiner newspaper

At the last minute, the Jewish Federation of Greater Los Angeles cancelled a Sunday morning event where Pamela Geller was scheduled to speak on the issues of war in the Middle East and the historical hatred of Jews in the Muslim world.

Citing security concerns that the building might be stormed by Muslim activists, the Federation informed the Zionist Organization of America – which was hosting the event – that the speech would be called off.

“We said, ‘we will pay for additional security so there will be no problems,’” Morton Klein, President of the ZOA, told The Algemeiner.  “They rejected that, saying ‘we’re not going to let Pam Geller or any of your people in the building.’”

Klein says the event was posted for months on the Federation’s website and that everything was done transparently throughout the process of scheduling Geller to speak, and that the timing of the cancellation was upsetting.

“If there was a problem, we should have discussed it earlier, but we shouldn’t cancel a talk because of threats and condemnations from the Muslim world,” Klein said.

The Jewish Federation of Greater LA has not returned requests for comment on this story.

Geller, who is a controversial author and activist criticized by some for her beliefs towards Islam, says the Jewish Federation in LA has set a dangerous precedent.

“I think it was a disaster.  Zionism is not welcome at the LA Jewish Federation,” she said in an interview with The Algemeiner. “It was almost a historical moment where they would cave to a group who is affiliated with Hamas,” she said, referring to reports that the Council on American-Islamic Relations, which has been linked to the terrorist group by the U.S. Congress, was responsible for the event’s cancellation.

According to the LosAngeles Times, CAIR representative HussamAyloush says his group will not be affected by people like Geller.

“We will not be affected by the noise of people who hopefully become more and more irrelevant,” Ayloush said. “Unfortunately, outrageous rhetoric gets attention because it’s outrageous, and Pamela Geller knows that very well.”

Suggestions that the Jewish Federation of Greater Los Angeles may have made their decision based on threats from “left-wing” donors, and not Muslim activists, were made to The Algemeiner by numerous sources.

And according to Klein, officials from the Federation have apologized to the ZOA for the cancellation.

“They called and told us they made a mistake,” he said.

“We have nothing against the Federation. They do important work and they help Israel,” Klein added.

The LA Times weighs in on the craven cancellation by the LA Jewish Federation of my talk, in its predictable heavy-handed fashion. It gave more ink to three freakish Chomskyites who came to disrupt our protest than it did to the protesters themselves, who were far more numerous. There was no comment from the scores who came out to denounce the Federation's cowardice. And they gave ink to the lie of the Southern Poverty Law Center, without doing any research on whether I really ever said that Malcolm X was Obama's father, which I did not. This is journalism in 2012.

But that's irrelevant. The LA Jewish Federation should be ashamed of itself: look how it's making news -- by providing fodder for Hamas-CAIR. Hamas-CAIR spokesman Hussam Ayloush, lovingly quoted in this piece, has repeatedly refused to condemn Hamas and Hizballah. Rojas also makes no mention of CAIR's ties to Hamas, the terror convictions of many of its leaders, or the uninidicted co-conspirator status the DoJ gave it during the largest terror funding trial in our nation's history. This is the Federation's ally. Several people have told me that they will not be donating another dime to the Jewish Federation. Perhaps the Federation can look for a big check from Hamas-CAIR or its Saudi bankrollers.

Jewish group cancels speech by controversial author Pamela Geller Rick Rojas LA Times June 25, 2012

Pamela Geller, the controversial author and activist, was set to deliver a lecture Sunday morning to the Zionist Organization of America that she had given many times before, billed by organizers as a revelation of the "root cause of war in the Middle East."

But instead of taking her place before the few dozen people inside the Jewish Federation of Greater Los Angeles, Geller and those who had come to see her milled around the sidewalk on Wilshire Boulevard. The Jewish Federation, just hours earlier, canceled the event.

Cancellations, just like death threats — "I have a huge file of death threats," Geller says — are something of an occupational hazard, particularly after the Southern Poverty Law Center deemed her organization a hate group. Both Jewish and Islamic associations have condemned her as a "fear-monger."

But in this instance, she said, the Jewish Federation "cravenly submitted to Islamic supremacists who wanted to suppress free speech."

Officials with the federation declined to comment Sunday.

Geller came to prominence as a dogged and sharp-tongued critic of what she sees as the encroachment of Islamic law in the United States and the threat of radical Islam. She was also a fierce opponent of the Muslim community center that was to be built blocks from the World Trade Center.

The host of Sunday's event, the Western Region Chapter of the Zionist Organization of America, said she would "discuss the motive behind Islam's war on the Jews, the war against Israel, and the 1,400-year-old hatred of Jews living in Muslim lands."

She hasn't always been an activist. "I assumed my freedom," she said. But that assumption was changed by the Sept. 11, 2001, terrorist attacks.

"I was shocked to my core," Geller said. "My basic premise was shattered: Freedom is not free; America is not forever. I felt guilty."

And while she says she became a defender of freedom, the Southern Poverty Law Center calls her "relentlessly shrill and coarse in her broad-brush denouncements of Islam and makes preposterous claims." Among the latter, the center cites her claims of President Obama being the son of Malcolm X and a supporter of jihad.

An interfaith coalition of Jewish, Islamic and Christian groups expressed outrage Saturday over the federation allowing her to speak. "We are extremely shocked and alarmed to see a mainstream Jewish organization associating itself with one of the nation's leading Islamophobes," the statement said.

Hussam Ayloush, executive director of the Council on American-Islamic Relations of Greater Los Angeles, said he hoped that Geller's message as a "fringe speaker" would not distract from progress being made in Jewish and Islamic relations.

What progress? Until Muslims denounce and expunge from the Koran and Hadith the passages that call for the hatred of Jews and annihilation of the Jewish people, what progress can there be? Where are the Muslim groups that support Israel? Is there even one?

"We will not be affected by the noise of people who hopefully become more and more irrelevant," Ayloush said. "Unfortunately, outrageous rhetoric gets attention because it's outrageous, and Pamela Geller knows that very well."

Geller was quick to fire back at her critics: The Southern Poverty Law Center is a "notoriously left-wing communist organization." And the interfaith coalition? "It's not an interfaith coalition," she said. "It's a mob."

On the sidewalk in Beverly Grove, the small group protesting Geller were not Muslims, but fellow Jews.

Lauren Steiner, Dorothy Reik and Linda Milazzo hadn't planned on protesting outside. They had come to hear Geller speak, and were planning on confronting her with tough questions during the question-and-answer session.

The discourse quickly devolved into name-calling. Milazzo got into it with one of Geller's supporters. She called him "paranoid." He retorted that she and her cohorts were "disgusting."

It ended with members of the Zionist organization taking away Milazzo's sign, which said: "Pamela Geller's hate speech is not welcome in Los Angeles." Milazzo had used their paper and markers to make it, they said.

"I'm ashamed to be in the same religion as these people," Steiner said.

The crowd soon dissipated. Geller and her supporters moved to an event hall a few miles away. There, organizers said, Geller was able to give her speech without interruption.

It didn't occur to Rojas to actually attend the speech and see for himself whether or not it was "hateful." There's no journalism, no research. He just picked through the available leftist and Islamic supremacist talking points and ran a few of his favorites.

They call us haters—but read between the lines of what the Muslim Brotherhood backed groups say (CAIR, ICNA, etc). They don’t really act to thwart Islamic terrorists. They don’t really care if Jews are massacred. They’ll say Palestinians have no choice in their fake fight against the “The Occupation.” They have a choice. We ALL have choices. That’s how God created us. But they pose as civil rights activists.

If you are pro-civil rights, then the only rational choice you have is to be pro-Israel, the only country that respects individual rights in the Middle East.

Proud Zionists Defeat LA Jewish Federation

We live in times when those who control the establishment media and mainstream organizations are increasingly afraid of confronting the true evils of our day, and cowed by the forces of Islamic supremacism and oppression. It saddens me to number the Los Angeles Jewish Federation among these compromised elites, but it cannot be denied in light of their cancellation of my planned address there this morning. LA's failed Jewish leadership follows in the rich tradition of its forbears who worshipped the golden calf. Imagine: Zionists are not welcome at the LA Jewish Federation.

I am extremely happy to report, however, that the proud Jews of the ZOA Western Region, led by the indefatigable Orit Arfa, were not willing to go quietly into the night. Within half an hour of when the event was supposed to take place, they swiftly organized a protest outside the Jewish Federation building, and called out the Federation leaders for capitulating to the Islamic supremacist Jew-haters of Hamas-CAIR. Scores protested in defense of free speech. They also quickly found an alternative venue, The Mark, where an enthusiastic crowd gathered to hear the address that the Jewish Federation was too frightened to allow to be heard. Mention must be made of Steve Goldberg, who went toe-to-toe with the craven Jay Sanderson of the Federation, who actually claimed that he was afraid that Muslim protestors would storm the building -- when we all know it wasn't that at all.

Of course, I had to speak about what had happened, and about how the Jewish community's acquiescence to the marginalization of freedom fighters is ultimately self-defeating to the point of suicide -- and above all, about how we have to challenge the left's control of the narrative. We take for granted as acceptable what a sane society would identify as monstrous evils: the "Palestinian" genocidal jihad against the Jews, and the jihad against the West and against civilization in general. We tolerate Islamic honor killing, female genital mutilation, polygamy, cultural annihilation, enslavement, and so much more -- for fear of being accused of "Islamophobia." We have to challenge all this and call evil what it is. If we don't, history shows us where all this leads.

The LA Times was at the protest. Of course, we know the spin they'll put on it.

The Jewish press is cowed as well, as evidenced by the headline and this sneering article. "Conservative blogger Pamela Geller says L.A. federation nixed her speech" -- as if I were making an unsubstantiated claim. In reality, people who showed up at the Federation for the event were turned away. The Federation didn't even have the decency to redirect them to the new venue. But the JTA apparently thinks this is all in my head.

(JTA) -- Conservative blogger Pamela Geller is lashing out at the Jewish Federation of Greater Los Angeles for what she says was its decision to cancel her Sunday appearance.

Geller, a fiery critic of Muslims, liberals and mainstream Jewish organizations, took to her blog, Atlas Shrugs, to blast the L.A. federation, comparing modern-day Jewish leaders to those who did not do enough to protest the Nazis in the years leading up to the Holocaust.

“This is tragic. Imagine, without so much as firing a shot, they're caving in to a Hamas front group, the Council on American-Islamic Relations,” Geller wrote.

CAIR had issued its own statement criticizing the L.A. federation for agreeing to allow its space to be used for Geller’s appearance, which was sponsored by the Zionist Organization of America. The scheduled talk was titled "Islamic Jew-Hatred: The Root Cause of the Failure to Achieve Peace."

Geller gained national attention by leading the efforts to stop the development of an Islamic community center near Ground Zero and has been a leading voice in warning against what she describes as a campaign to impose Islamic law on the United States. She is the author of "Stop the Islamization of America: A Practical Guide to the Resistance" and "The Post-American Presidency: The Obama Administration's War on America."

The Anti-Defamation League, which also opposed the Islamic community center, has accused Geller of promoting “a conspiratorial anti-Muslim agenda under the guise of fighting radical Islam” and seeking “to rouse public fears by consistently vilifying the Islamic faith."

Geller has lashed out at the ADL and other mainstream Jewish organizations. She sounded a similar note in attacking the L.A. federation.

“Shame on our cowardly leadership for throwing one of our own under the bus,” Geller wrote Sunday. “We expect that from kapos, not from proud Jews who should hold the freedom of speech as a fundamental Jewish value.”

As of press time, the L.A. federation could not be reached for comment.

In its own statement, the ZOA said the L.A. federation cited security concerns in cancelling the event.

“We believe that the Jewish Federation has succumbed to political pressure by Muslim and Left-wing Jewish groups not to let a rational voice of criticism of Islam and its war against Israel be heard on its premises,” the ZOA said in a statement, as cited on Geller’s website. “These Muslim and Jewish groups have blown up the blogosphere with lies about Ms. Geller and harsh criticism of the ZOA for hosting her at the Jewish Federation.”

ZOA said that such an approach “effectively shuts down free speech.”

Obama Campaign Holds 'Kapo Shabbat' Across Washington, D.C.

Any Jew who organizes for Obama is digging his own grave and that of the people of Israel. This mirrors Nazi Party Representatives attending a 1933 Berlin Jewish Community charity drive gathering -- back in December 20, 1933, three thousand Jews attended the first official Jewish gathering in which uniformed Nazis participated. The mass meeting was arranged by the Berlin Jewish community to open the special campaign for winter relief. And we know how that worked out.

Same thing. Obama has long sought out "well-respected" traitors and patsies in the Jewish Community. He knows we are overrun with them. There is no administration in American history that has been as hostile towards our closest ally in the Middle East. Auschwitz borders, a judenrein Jerusalem, and so much more:

Now the Democrats, with brazen dishonesty, are telling Jews to vote for Obama again, claiming that he is pro-Israel. They point out that Obama has said pro-Israel things -- but in reality his words mean nothing when he has also called upon Israel to accept a Palestinian state with contiguous borders, which would mean a truncated and bisected Israel disastrously vulnerable to jihad attacks, insulted Netanyahu repeatedly, and so much more. Obama wanted to go even farther to stab Israel in the back, but the "Palestinians" and Muslim states wouldn't cooperate by even giving the appearance of accepting Israel's existence and wanting to establish a lasting peace.

Meanwhile, Obama has done everything he could to usher in Islamic states surrounding Israel, including a Muslim Brotherhood-led Egypt that wants to destroy the Camp David Accords and go to war with Israel. He has said nothing about the Egyptian Parliament's designation of Israel as its number one enemy, or the rise in anti-Israel sentiment in all the "Arab Spring" countries. He has also cozied up to Erdogan in Turkey, an avowed Islamic supremacist who is working quickly to destroy Kemalist secularism and establish an Islamic state in Turkey. He refused to back real pro-freedom demonstrators in Iran, and has done nothing effective to block the mullahs' mad race to get nuclear weapons.

Campaign Holds 'Obama Shabbat' Across Washington, D.C. Weekly Standard

The president is out of town tonight, spending the night alone at his home in Chicago after a day filled with six fundraisers. But his campaign in Washington, D.C. continues.

An events list found at BarackObama.com reveals that eight "Obama Shabbat" dinners will be held this evening, here in Washington, to observe the Jewish sabbath and to "organize our community to help reelect President Barack Obama." The Jewish sabbath is observed from sundown Friday evening to sundown Saturday night. 

The descriptions for the dinners are formulaic, sounding mostly the same. "On Friday, June 1st Jewish Americans across the District of Columbia will gather in their homes to celebrate Shabbat and organize our community to help reelect President Barack Obama," one reads. "Please join us at the home of Hannah Malvin to learn more about how you can help reelect President Obama."

Another event notice states, "On Friday, June 1st Jewish Americans across the District of Columbia will gather in their homes to celebrate Shabbat and organize our community to help reelect President Barack Obama. Please join us at the Home of Veronica Weiss to learn more about how you can help reelect President Obama. This home is not Kosher, but if you are looking for a Kosher Obama Shabbat please let us know and we will help you find one."

Well done. Wise words wasted on traitors and JINOs, but well done nonetheless. Too bad he doesn't address the Muslim funding (or that of former Nazi collaborator George Soros) of this masquerading "Jewish" org, J Street (the J apparently is for jihad).

Audiences at the annual J Street conference in Washington on Monday were shocked when one of the event’s honorees, Deputy Chief of Mission at the Embassy of Israel in Washington, DC, Barukh Bina, stood at the podium and issued a respectful yet scathing criticism of the advocacy group’s policies. As he took the podium at the event's gala dinner, Binah received rapturous applause, according to the tweets of several conference-goers. However, as the tone and content of Binah's speech became more apparent, the crowd was stunned into silence.

The presence of a high-level diplomat at this year’s conference, entitled “Making History,” marks a significant shift in attitudes toward the organization. J Street, an advocacy organization that describes itself as “pro-Israel and pro-peace,” is known for its adversarial position toward Israel's traditional lobby in the U.S., AIPAC, which was largely vilified at this week's J Street conference. Last year’s conference was not attended by any Israeli diplomats, and two years ago only a junior embassy representative attended. This year, however, following speculations and consultations, the embassy decided to send Binah to the event, and he took advantage of his captive audience to deliver a harsh yet measured rebuke to the organization which official Israel sees as a less than constructive force.

“I come to you today not only as the second highest ranking Israeli diplomat in the U.S., but as a brother (and I have an extensive American family). We share your democratic values. But unlike your secure existence between these happy shores, an ocean apart from the bad guys, our borders are curved and dusty, and made of missiles and mayhem,” Binah said.

Addressing the prevalent view among American Jews who call themselves "Progressive Zionists" – a group that J Street purports to champion – that Israel's current government is steering Israel away from its democratic character, Binah told the gathering, "Nobody is perfect, and, as a seventh generation Israeli born I know full well what needs to be fixed in my own society. I salute those individuals and organizations working for grass-roots improvements within Israel, and I personally attempt these corrections every four years when I cast my vote. Sometimes I have it my way, and sometimes I do not. It is called democracy.

"We share your democratic values ... as we continue to face intolerable threats, we sometimes have to make decisions of life and death. We welcome the opinions of our brethren in the Diaspora, especially on issues of Jewish identity and pluralism, but at the end of the day, it is we, the Israelis, who must bear the ultimate burden and may have to pay the ultimate price. And we, dear friends and family, have no margins of error, none whatsoever.

"I understand that you, my friends, are all about future and hope. So are we, the young and most energetic country that we are. But while our view is towards the future, we dare not forget our past. History must not shackle us, but its lessons must guide us," Binah said.
 
Taking aim at various voices within the American Jewish community, as well as a growing theme among some American pundits, who think that the current Israeli government is abusing the memory of the Holocaust to point to the threat from Iran, Binah said, "And please, do not tell me that it is no longer relevant, because it is. (It is alive and scorching just like the trail left by an Israeli Air Force F-16, flown over Poland's valleys of death by the granddaughter of the commanders of a ghetto revolt. It is alive in ink on paper as long as a 12-year-old, an eighth generation Israeli born, dedicates her bat mitzvah book to 'members of my family whom I never met,' though nobody coached her in this direction."

Binah went on to issue a thinly veiled dig at the group, saying, “We need you to stand with us. It is as simple as that, and someone ought to say it. Internal activism is a central part of democratic society, but pressures on the elected government of Israel can present us with a problem, when we need you the most. Friends, I urge you to stand by our side as Americans, as members of your community, as Jews. For the sake of our forefathers and our future, we must keep our brotherhood strong."

Further admonishing J Street's focus on highlighting Israel's settlement enterprise, Binah said, "You may be critical of settlements, but if you choose to show the most extreme, it behooves you to present the greater mass of moderates as well. If you show them [politicians J Street brings to Israel] negative aspects of checkpoints, please show as well the catastrophe and grief of terror victims. If you show them Israel’s failings, show them also our triumphs such as the aliyah of the Jewish community of Ethiopia. I urge you to strive for balance, so that these lawmakers may become friends of Israel who might be critical, and not critics of Israel who are not friends."

As the audience sat in near-silence, Twitter users who were live-tweeting the event immediately began detailing the mood in the conference hall. “Awkward! Israeli #2 Ambassador Barukh Binah is slamming #JStreet at its annual gala,” Twitter user @MeatyButcher wrote. @EmilyCadei added, “#Israel deputy chief of mission addresses/scolds #JStreet gala, NOT well received, heard some hisses.”

Good to see more reason and logic in the letters pages of The (confused) Jewish Week. The Jewish Week published a grotesque piece by the dangerous Abe Foxman last week, equating me with the virulent Jew-hater Louis Farrakhan. Foxman's record of poisonous activity that is ultimately harmful to the Jewish community is longstanding.  His denial of the Armenian genocide is monstrous.  If we as a people cannot stand with other victims of genocide, then who can?  Here is a man who refuses to call the Armenian genocide of two million Christians a genocide, but who expects the Holocaust to be considered as such.  What's the difference?  And if he can dismiss that genocide, what differentiates him from, say, an Ahmadinejad, who denies the Holocaust?  Foxman went so far as to fire an ADL regional director for disagreeing with him over the Armenian genocide. It was grossly irrational for Anti-Defamation League national President Abraham Foxman to lump Pamela Geller with Patrick Buchanan and Rev. Louis Farrakhan (“Russell Simmons’ Blind Spot For Bigotry,” Opinion, March 16).

I might be one of the few people who can say that they have attended 13 Farrakhan events as well as seven events where Geller has spoken. Geller uses facts, history and actual examples of rhetoric or incidents to sound an alarm about a clear and present danger facing Jews, Christians, America, Israel and the West: practitioners of extremist Islam. Farrakhan fans the flames of this extremism and is an extremist himself. To put it simply: Geller tells the truth about radical Islam. Farrakhan lies about Jews and Judaism.

We need more Pamela Gellers, and Foxman is quite wrong in castigating her.
