Islamic invasion of America: The 20 Point Plan

This sums up the Muslim Brotherhood project in America quite succinctly. On November 7, 2001,  international law enforcement authorities and Western intelligence agencies discovered a twenty-year old document revealing a top-secret plan developed by the oldest Islamist organization with one of the most extensive terror networks in the world to launch a program of “cultural invasion” and eventual conquest of the West that virtually mirrors the tactics used by Islamists for more than two decades.

Since that time information about this document, known in counterterrorism circles as “The Project”, and discussion regarding its content has been limited to the top-secret world of Western intelligence communities. Only through the work of an intrepid Swiss journalist, Sylvain Besson of Le Temps, and his book published in October 2005 in France, La conquête de l'Occident: Le projet secret des Islamistes (The Conquest of the West: The Islamists' Secret Project), has information regarding The Project finally been made public. One Western official cited by Besson has described The Project as “a totalitarian ideology of infiltration which represents, in the end, the greatest danger for European societies.”

Included in the documents seized during the raid of Nada’s Swiss villa was a 14-page plan written in Arabic and dated December 1, 1982, which outlines a 12-point strategy to “establish an Islamic government on earth” – identified as The Project. According to testimony given to Swiss authorities by Nada, the unsigned document was prepared by “Islamic researchers” associated with the Muslim Brotherhood.

A refugee from the Muslim Middle East thinks he has discovered Islam's 20-point plan for conquering the United States by 2020

Anis Shorrosh, author of ''Islam Revealed'' and ''The True Furqan,'' is a Christian Arab-American who emigrated from Arab-controlled Jerusalem in January 1967.

''The following is my analysis of Islamic invasion of America, the agenda of Islamists and visible methods to take over America by the year 2020,'' Shorrosh says. ''Will Americans continue to sleep through this invasion as they did when we were attacked on 9/11?''

1. Terminate America's freedom of speech by replacing it with statewide and nationwide hate-crime bills.

2. Wage a war of words using black leaders like Louis Farrakhan, Rev. Jesse Jackson  and other visible religious personalities who promote Islam as the religion of African-Americans while insisting Christianity is for whites only. What they fail to tell African-Americans is that it was Arab Muslims who captured them and sold them as slaves. In fact, the Arabic word for black and slave is the same, ''Abed.''

3. Engage the American public in dialogues, discussions, debates in colleges, universities, public libraries, radio, TV, churches and mosques on the virtues of Islam. Proclaim how it is historically another religion like Judaism and Christianity with the same monotheistic faith.

4. Nominate Muslim sympathizers to political office to bring about favorable legislation toward Islam and support potential sympathizers by block voting.

5. Take control of as much of Hollywood, the press, TV, radio and the Internet as possible by buying the related corportations or a controlling stock.

6. Yield to the fear of the imminent shut-off of the lifeblood of America – black gold. America’s economy depends on oil and 41 percent of it comes from the Middle East.

7. Yell ''foul, out-of-context, personal interpretation, hate crime, Zionist, un- American, inaccurate interpretation of the Quran'' anytime Islam is criticized or the Quran is analyzed in the public arena.

8. Encourage Muslims to penetrate the White House, specifically with Islamists who can articulate a marvelous and peaceful picture of Islam. Acquire government positions and get membership in local school boards. Train Muslims a medical doctors to dominate the medical field, research and pharmaceutical l companies (Ever notice how numerous Muslim doctors in America are, when their countries need them more desperately than America?) Take over the computer industry. Establish Middle Eastern restaurants throughout the U.S. to connect planners of Islamization in a discreet way.

9. Accelerate Islamic demographic growth via:

• Massive immigration (100,000 annually since 1961).

• Use no birth control whatsoever – every baby of Muslim parents is automatically a Muslim and cannot choose another religion later.

• Muslim men must marry American women and Islamize them (10,000 annually). Then divorce them and remarry every five years – since one can't legally marry four at one time. This is a legal solution in America.

• Convert angry, alienated black inmates and turn them into militants (so far 2,000 released inmates have joined al-Qaida worldwide). Only a few ''sleeper cells'' have been captured in Afghanistan and on American soil.

10. Reading, writing, arithmetic and research through the American educational system, mosques and student centers (now 1,500) should be sprinkled with dislike of Jews, evangelical Christians and democracy. There are currently 300 exclusively Muslim schools in the U.S. which teach loyalty to the Quran, not the U.S. Constitution. In January of 2002, Saudi Arabia’s Embassy in Washington mailed 4,500 packets of the Quran and videos promoting Islam to America's high schools – free of charge. Saudi Arabia would not allow the U.S. to reciprocate.

11. Provide very sizeable monetary Muslim grants to colleges and universities in America to establish ''Centers for Islamic studies'' with Muslim directors to promote Islam in higher-education institutions.

12. Let the entire world know through propaganda, speeches, seminars, local and national media that terrorists have hijacked Islam, when in truth, Islam hijacked the terrorists.

13. Appeal to the historically compassionate and sensitive Americans for sympathy and tolerance towards Muslims in America who are portrayed as mainly immigrants from oppressed countries.

14. Nullify America's sense of security by manipulating the intelligence community with misinformation. Periodically terrorize Americans with reports of impending attacks on bridges, tunnels, water supplies, airports, apartment buildings and malls.

15. Form riots and demonstrations in the prison system demanding Islamic Sharia as the way of life, not America's justice system.

16. Open numerous charities throughout the U.S., but use the funds to support Islamic terrorism with American dollars.

17. Raise interest in Islam on America's campuses by insisting freshman take at least one course on Islam.

18. Unify the numerous Muslim lobbies in Washington, mosques, Islamic student centers, educational organizations, magazines and papers by Internet and an annual convention to coordinate plans, propagate the faith and engender news in the media.

19. Send intimidating messages and messengers  

to the outspoken individuals who are critical of Islam and seek to eliminate them by hook or crook.

20. Applaud Muslims as loyal citizens of the U.S. by spotlighting their voting record as the highest percentage of all minority and ethic groups in America.

Nuclear Attacks in the U.S.

I am unclear as to why the government chooses to keep this from the American people. The easy answer is that "we don't want people to panic". Understood, but blissful ignorance is not a strategy; wouldn't we be better off knowing and educating ourselves as to who the enemy is, the ideology that motivates him and what is his objective?

While the following explosive revelations are  unnerving, it pales in comparison to the recent moves Obama has taken to dismantle the very safeguards we have in place to track terrorists. Further, law enforcement is now focusing on outreach, not investigation. We extend a hand, they chop it off.

I once had a client “The Rule of Law consortium” headed by the late David Braunheim. The rule of Law Consortium had an AID contract to help former Soviet countries establish new, Democratic legal systems.

I was in their office one day when they came back from a seminar given by a former KGB agent. This agent said that 10 or 12 suitcase nuclear bombs had disappeared from Russia and were presumed to be in the hands of the Arabs. This article from 1997 claims that 100 were missing. The date of the story, 1997, is about the time that I heard about the seminar.

JFK Terminal Plot

The second attempt that I know of is the JFK terrorist plot. When the plot was announced to the public, we were told that the terrorists planned to blow up fuel tanks at JFK and that the fire would spread through the pipelines into Brooklyn. I have had enough science classes (college level) to know that this could not possibly happen.

Reports mentioned an Arab terrorist named Shukrijumah. Shukrijumah’s name came up in some news reports. I did research and found references to him on the island of Trinidad. At least one of them had Shukrijumah talking about having a nuclear bomb on the north end of the island. Some of those sites have disappeared.

The terrorist was last seen in Mexico, where, on Nov. 1, 2004, he allegedly hijacked a Piper PA Pawnee cropduster from Ejido Queretaro near Mexacli to transport a nuclear weapon and nuclear equipment into the U.S. The plane's tail number was XBCYP.

An indirect source in Ha’aretz Bitahon b’ Artzot habrit said that at least one nuclear bomb was captured in the JFK plot.

Another source, whom I know personally, told me that at least one nuclear bomb was captured as part of the JFK Plot.

  Kennedy Airport Terror Plot Thwarted

The official said the plotters had conducted surveillance on giant jet fuel tanks at JFK and the pipeline. They had taken surveillance video of the targets and took it to Trinidad to review the tape, the official said, speaking on condition of anonymity because the arrests were not yet announced.

These Islamic terrorists have been tentatively tied to Jamaat Muslimeen -- "struggle for Islam" -- originating from Trinidad (the Caribbean is now a hot spot.) Places you least expect.

It seems that a Parliamentarian was involved in this plot. Yes, a government official.

One suspect, a U.S. citizen who is a native of Guyana and who once worked at the airport, was described by a source as "a very angry Muslim extremist."

In all, four individuals, including the former Guyana parliament member, Abdul Kadir, and Russell Defreitas, a U.S. citizen and native of Guyana who worked as an airport cargo worker, have been charged with conspiring to attack JFK. (Photo: Abdul Kadir - on the left)

Also in custody are Kareem Ibrahim, a citizen of Trinidad held in Trinidad, and Abdel Nur, a citizen of Guyana. The United States is planning to seek their extradition.

Roslynn Mauskopf, US attorney for the Eastern District of New York: "The most chilling plot imaginable." The damage and carnage impossible to fathom. The devastation that  would be caused is just unthinkable."

" Huge concern about the fuel line. The feeding tube that feeds international commerce, airport, residences." "The Buckeye Pipeline (orginates from Allentown Pa.), a 40 million fuel line, runs from New Jersey to Nassau (JFK) ......" It is the central fuel line.

"This plot similar and different to ones in the past (the Lincoln tunnel planned blow up, the '93 stock exchange plot, the Financial District plot) . It is different as it is tied to the Caribbean. Similiar in that it is a self radicalized New Yorker plotting to betray his country with a catastrophic event."

The plot began in the US and then spread to Trinidad and Guyana, officials said.

The group had shown unusual persistence, seeking finance and expert advice and gathering photographic and video surveillance as well as satellite images, said Mr Mershon.

"This is a very determined group," he said.
"Look at the world through the eyes, through the prism of September 11th."

One of the suspects (Defreitas - sp?) was quoted as saying:  "the attacks would result in the destruction of the whole of JFK and destroy whole parts of Queens. Few people would survive."

"Even the twin towers can't touch it. This would destroy the whole US economy"

The complaint adds that an informant and Defreitas discussed the war in Lebanon in August 2006 and agreed, "Muslims always incur the wrath of the world while the Jews get a pass."

It was at that point, court records say, Defreitas shared with the informant "that he had a vision that would make the WTC attack seem small."

Al Qaeda's so-called nuclear whiz kid - a "tantalizing terror figure" with a $5 million bounty on his head - was the radical big shot investigators had hoped to snag in their 18-month JFK-plot probe, The Post has learned.

The name of "invisible hand" Adnan Gulshair el-Shukrijumah, reportedly the man Osama bin Laden tapped to lead a previous scheme to detonate nuclear bombs simultaneously in several U.S. cities, came up at several points in taped conversations during the probe, according to law-enforcement sources familiar with the investigation.

Shukrijumah grew up in Guyana, according to terror expert and author Paul L. Williams. Shukrijumah's late father, Gulshair, an Islamic scholar, once served as a temporary imam at Brooklyn's al-Farouq mosque, which is well-known in radical circles, Williams said.

The mosque has connections to a scheme to fund an al Qaeda-linked sheik as well as one of the 1993 World Trade Center bombers.

Some terror experts think 31-year-old Shukrijumah is among a handful of up-and-coming leaders of al Qaeda handpicked by Khalid Sheik Mohammed, the mastermind of the Sept. 11 attacks, to keep the terrorist network running.

Apparently hoping to be part of that network was suspected JFK-plot mastermind Russell Defreitas, 63.

Defreitas, a native of Guyana and former cargo worker at the airport, landed on the authorities' radar after approaching a drug dealer-turned-informant at a mosque at Bedford Avenue and Fulton Street in Brooklyn, allegedly seeking help.

Kadir was arrested as he boarded the plane to Venezuela - where his family said he planned to pick up a travel visa to attend an Islamic religious conference in Iran.

Adnan G. El Shukrijumah is a Saudi terror suspect with a $5 million bounty on his head. The FBI has been hunting him for over three years. He has been billed as the “next Mohammed Atta.”

Adnan Shukrijunah the son of Saudi funded Wahabi cleric in Miramar, Florida USA was named by US law enforcement as 'Mohammed Atta's sucessor' based on information from Khalid Sheik Mohammed the 9/11 mastermind who was captured in Pakistan in 2003. Adnan is a former resident of Miramar, South Florida, where he attended computer and English classes at Broward Community College in 1997. A native of Guyana, El Shukrijumah's father, Gulshai, died in Miramar on June 2004.

Being the father of an aspiring dirty bomber with terrorist ties to terrorist going back 20 years, and having one's name on the Saudi payroll appears to have been a job asset for Adnan Shukrijumah's father Gulshair. After the Al Hirjah mosque next to his Miramar home supposedly asked him to step down, due to unwanted publicity, Sofian Abdelaziz Zakkout, the director of AMANA- The American Muslim Society of North America, ,and a Shukrijumah family friend offered "the Sheik' a place on the board of directors of the Shamshuddin Islamic Center.

In 2003 Gulshair intimated that losing his $500 dollar a month position as Imam at Al Hijrah would bring financial hardship to him and his family. He sniveled to the press that "I feel very said because I have done no wrong", and declared that "if my son is suspect in something it does not mean that I too am also suspect."

According to Michael Isikoff's and Mark Hosenball's April 2004 Newsweek investigative articles into Saudi government terror funding:

"The Florida based Imam (Gulshair Shukrijumah), has been on the FBI radar screen for some time."

"In response to the U.S. calls for tighter controls the Saudi government terminated payments to Gulshair El Shukrijumah, along with a number of other clerics being supported by the embassy."

Gulshair Shukrijumah collected $19,400 dollars in checks from the Saudi embassy between 2000 and 2003 . He also acted as interpreter for the 'Blind Sheik' Omar Abdel Rahman who masterminded the 1993 WTC bombings, as well as plots to bomb other U.S. landmarks, and instigated attacks abroad.

Shukrijumah, described as a pilot and bombmaker, and is also known by several aliases and nicknames, including "Jaffar the Pilot”, was among several suspected al-Qaeda figures who met in the northwestern province of Waziristan in Pakistan during March 2004, according to the Los Angeles Times and other publications. Pakistani officials said that meeting also was attended by Osama bin Laden lieutenant Abu Eisa al Hindi, an Indian convert to radical Islam and surveillance specialist living in Britain, Mohammed Junaid Babar, a Pakistani-American who arrived at the summit with cash, sleeping bags and ponchos and communications engineer Mohammed Naeem Noor Khan, whose computer discs allegedly contained surveillance reports for a planned attack on buildings in the United States and Britain.

JAMAAT al Muslimeen leader Yasin Abu Bakr is expected go on trial later this month on terrorism and sedition charges.  Bakr has been charged with sedition, promoting a terrorist act and inciting others to breach the peace stemming from his November 2005 Eid sermon at his Mucurapo mosque.

Government's drastic anti-crime initiative paid off yesterday, when a large contingent of police and army officers from the Special Anti-crime Unit (SAUTT) and other sections of the Police Service raided the Jamaat al Muslimeen compound at Mucurapo Road.

Washington DC, within the last two years

The same source as above told me about this attempt to attack Washington, DC with a nuclear bomb. Authorities got word about a plan to fly a bomb into the airport on Tangier Island and sent out a team to intercept the attack. There was a shootout at the airport. The terrorists were killed and the bomb captured. Tangier Island is in the Chesapeake bay about 90 miles south of Washington, DC.

My source said that her/his source was involved in the shootout and killed one of the terrorists.

Another source, involved with law enforcement, who would not put it in writing, was able to confirm the story. (This source also said that if Americans knew what was going on, they would panic.) An old friend with “connections” said that incidents occur that are immediately classified secret. He said that if the general population knew, there would be panic.

Boston

I saw a few stories about a failed nuclear bomb attempt on the Republican National Convention in New York in 2004 on the Internet. They, like so many other stories of this type, have disappeared. I mentioned this to an investigative reporter. He replied:

The incident in 2004 was at the Dems convention, not the GOP convention – and it involved a friend of mine.

He went on to tell me that the bomb was a dud and did not go off.

Don’t forget Jose Padilla, who is in jail on charges of a dirty bomb plot.

The Port of Seattle was shut down when nuclear alarms went off for two containers on August 16, 2006. We were later told that the containers contained oily rags. The U.S. has enough oily rags that we don’t need to import them. Considering spontaneous combustion, you would not ship a container of oily rags unless you wanted to set the ship on fire.

On August 12, 2007, there was a minor car crash in Hoboken, NJ. The driver of one car ran off. When the police searched the car, they bound a box of radioactive materials in the trunk.

After the Al Hirjah mosque next to his Miramar home supposedly asked him to step down, due to unwanted publicity, Sofian Abdelaziz Zakkout, the director of AMANA- The American Muslim Society of North America, ,and a Shukrijumah family friend offered "the Sheik' a place on the board of directors of the Shamshuddin Islamic Center.

In 2003 Gulshair intimated that losing his $500 dollar a month position as Imam at Al Hijrah would bring financial hardship to him and his family. He sniveled to the press that "I feel very said because I have done no wrong", and declared that "if my son is suspect in something it does not mean that I too am also suspect."

"In response to the U.S. calls for tighter controls the Saudi government terminated payments to Gulshair El Shukrijumah, along with a number of other clerics being supported by the embassy."

Gulshair Shukrijumah collected $19,400 dollars in checks from the Saudi embassy between 2000 and 2003 . He also acted as interpreter for the 'Blind Sheik' Omar Abdel Rahman who masterminded the 1993 WTC bombings, as well as plots to bomb other U.S. landmarks, and instigated attacks abroad.

Shukrijumah, described as a pilot and bombmaker, and is also known by several aliases and nicknames, including "Jaffar the Pilot”, was among several suspected al-Qaeda figures who met in the northwestern province of Waziristan in Pakistan during March 2004, according to the Los Angeles Times and other publications. Pakistani officials said that meeting also was attended by Osama bin Laden lieutenant Abu Eisa al Hindi, an Indian convert to radical Islam and surveillance specialist living in Britain, Mohammed Junaid Babar, a Pakistani-American who arrived at the summit with cash, sleeping bags and ponchos and communications engineer Mohammed Naeem Noor Khan, whose computer discs allegedly contained surveillance reports for a planned attack on buildings in the United States and Britain.

Jen Rubin reports over at PJM that the lethal Department of Justice needs volunteers for a “unique opportunity.” It seems the Department of Justice will sponsor a booth at the ISNA (Islamic Society of North America) convention (where CAIR is serving kool-aid cocktails).

ISNA like CAIR was named as an unindicted co-conspirator in the Holy Land Foundation criminal prosecution.

The civil rights division will be sponsoring an information booth at the islamic society of north america convention here at the washington convention center over the july 4th weekend. The division needs volunteers to work at the booth at times on July 3 through July 5. Hizb ut-Tahrir America (HTA) has indicated that it has transitioned from its covert status to a public phase of operations by issuing an announcement, signed in its own name, that it will host a conference in July 2009 to support the establishment of a Caliphate. The promotional video can be viewed on YouTube. The event, titled "The Fall of Capitalism and Rise of Islam," is scheduled for Sunday, July 19th, 2009, at the Aqsa School in Bridgeview, Illinois.

Bridgeview is a suburb of Chicago. Chicago has been a major hub of HTA's activities for the past ten years, approximately. According to information available on the internet, the Aqsa School is a private Islamic primary and secondary school. Although HTA's Khilafah conference will be held at the school, there is no public indication that the school, its staff, or its board members are directly involved with HTA.

Last fall, after HTA issued a leaflet in its own name calling for Muslims not to participate in the U.S. elections, I wrote a brief post on CTB about the possible transition of HTA to the second stage of its development. According to party doctrine, Hizb ut Tahrir (HT) implements its strategy in three stages--The first stage is the covert level of development in which members are recruited and trained. In the second stage, members promote the party's methods and objectives publicly in order to win the support of the Muslim population. The final stage is the establishment of an Islamic government and military, in order to carry HT's "message to the world."

Indeed, HTA's announcement that it will host the Khilafah conference in July indicates that the U.S.-based branch now perceives itself as solidly prepared to emerge from its covert status into the second stage. HTA has held Khilafah conferences, and other major conferences, in the past, but has only done so from behind fronts and covers.

Other international branches of HT that have advanced from the developmental stage to the public phase have done so after achieving a level of internal fortitude that would enable the branch to withstand opposition. The transition may indicate that HTA perceives a level of comfort in an operating environment in which aggressive challenge from the government or the public is not anticipated. In order to sustain operations publicly, the branch leaders must be confident that members are loyal and committed to HT's objectives.

Kansas City Star: Accused shooter in Arkansas tries to justify killing soldier

A Muslim convert charged with fatally shooting an U.S. soldier said Tuesday that he doesn’t consider the killing a murder because U.S. military action in the Middle East made the killing justified.

“I do feel I’m not guilty,” Abdulhakim Muhammad said in a collect call from the Pulaski County jail. “I don’t think it was murder, because murder is when a person kills another person without justified reason.”

So he is declaring war on the US in the name of Islam. Off to GITMO!

Pvt. William Andrew Long, 23, of Conway was shot dead June 1 at a military recruiting center, and a fellow soldier, Pvt. Quinton I. Ezeagwula, 18, of Jacksonville was wounded.

“Yes, I did tell the police upon my arrest that this was an act of retaliation, and not a reaction on the soldiers personally,” Muhammad said. He called it “a act, for the sake of God, for the sake of Allah, the Lord of all the world, and also a retaliation on U.S. military.”

In the interview, Muhammad also disputed his lawyer’s claim that he had been “radicalized” in a Yemeni prison and said fellow prisoners that some call terrorists were actually “very good Muslim brothers.

Radicalized in Yemen? Why the hell did he go to Yemen? He was radicalized here. INVESTIGATE THE MOSQUE THAT RECRUITED HIM.

As I first reported in my book, "Infiltration: How Muslim Spies and Subversives Have Penetrated Washington," Mohamed Omeish headed the U.S. branch of one of bin Laden's favorite Saudi charities, the International Islamic Relief Organization, which was raided after 9/11. Tax records I've obtained show Omeish shared an office with Alamoudi, the convicted al-Qaida-tied terrorist and godfather of the Muslim mafia in America. This is the same "moderate" Muslim leader who federal prosecutors caught on tape complaining bin Laden hadn't killed enough Americans.

Of course the Muslim groups are working his campaign feverishly.

Channel 11 was the only TV crew out there with a camera, and the AR Dem Gazette sent a reporter and a photographer. The event had several speakers who did a wonderful job. Video footage of them will be uploaded soon. However, the most shocking part of the event was when a muslim fanatic crashed the event. The fanatic drove by and yelled at us, then parked in the parking lot and stood out with a homemade sign yelling anti-American and later anti-Semetic comments. Had this been a ceremony for Tiller, this would have been the top story for both local and national media. Since it isn't a top story, it's up to you to send this to as many people as possible. What started as an argument over religion at a bar escalated when one man shot another five times overnight, as the victim's sister watched in horror.

Toni Simpson says she was waiting for her brother, Ernest McCullough, 29, in the 3800 block of Van Dyke Avenue at about 4:30 a.m. after a night of drinking at Nancy's Pub. She was listening to the pair argue over religion but never thought it would lead to what happened next.

"He pulled up his shirt and it looked like a knife and it was a gun. He pulled it out and shot him,” she said.

Simpson says she was so shocked that she blacked out after the first two rounds were fired. When she came around she saw her brother covered in blood.

"I said ‘he shot you?’ And he said ‘yeah, he shot me’ and then he fell to the ground," Simpson said.

The victim, who is Christian, was taken to Scripps Mercy Hospital in serious condition but is expected to be okay.

The suspect, who Simpson says was of Muslim faith, remains at large.

Law enforcement has busted an Islamic terror plot against military planes and NYC synagogues in New York, and yesterday US soldiers were attacked and killed in an attack that also targeted Jewish organizations, a Baptist church, a child care center, a post office and military recruiting centers in the southeastern U.S., New York and Philadelphia, according to a joint FBI-Homeland Security intelligence assessment obtained by The Associated Press.

Jonathan Galt tells me that several weeks ago, STRATFOR heard from sources that the FBI and other law enforcement organizations had been ordered to “back off” of counterterrorism investigations into the activities of Black Muslim converts. At this point, it is unclear to us if that guidance was given by the White House or the Department of Justice, or if it was promulgated by the agencies themselves, anticipating the wishes of President Barack Obama and Attorney General Eric Holder. DIVERSITY VISA NUMBERS: IMPORTING JIHAD IN THE TENS OF THOUSANDS

Back in April, I described the "changes" Obama was making to immigration from terror nations under the diversity and religious visa program. Changes. President hopeychange wasted no time in opening up the visa regulations, beginning with "religious visas." Before, whoever wanted to enter as a supposed missionary needed to demonstrate his/her affiliation with a religious institution for at least two years. Now they changed it to almost no proof at all.

Another type of visa that is dangerous is an IV (Immigrant Visa). This is what is called a "Diversity" visa -- a class of immigrants known as “diversity immigrants.” Diversity Visas (DV) each fiscal year are made available to persons from countries with low rates of immigration to the United States. The annual DV program makes visas available to persons meeting the simple eligibility requirements. A computer-generated, random lottery drawing chooses selectees for diversity visas. The visas are distributed among six geographic regions, with a greater number of visas going to regions with lower rates of immigration.

A senior U.S. official tells FOX News that more targets were found on the computer of a man charged in the fatal shooting at a military recruiting center in Arkansas — suggesting the accused gunman may have been part of a larger plot to attack military targets and may not have been acting alone.

Officers found maps to Jewish organizations, a Baptist church, a child care center, a post office and military recruiting centers in the southeastern U.S., New York and Philadelphia, according to a joint FBI-Homeland Security intelligence assessment obtained by The Associated Press.

Muhammad, 23, a Muslim convert who previously was known as Carlos Bledsoe, pleaded not guilty to capital murder in the deadly suburban shopping complex shooting.

Authorities said he targeted soldiers "because of what they had done to Muslims in the past."

Private William Long, 23, was killed and Private Quinton I. Ezeagwula, 18, was wounded. Both completed basic training within the past two weeks and had never seen combat. Ezeagwula was in stable condition at a hospital.

The latest information seemed to contradict a local police official's denial earlier Tuesday that the shooting was part of a larger conspiracy, though details of possible accomplices and their involvement weren't immediately disclosed.

I receive periodic updates from Craig, a reader in law enforcement. I thought I would share this recent communique with you.

I reviewed the pictures of the parade in New York celebrating the Jewish State [and Tel Aviv's] 100th Birthday. They are awesome pictures, except for the anti-Israel "protesters." With all the other conventions, meetings and marches being shut down in other countries due to "security concerns," I'm really surprised someone didn't try to block this one. Thank the lord above it was peaceful. I'm sure the New York City Police Department brass was holding their breath the whole time.

I talked with my old jail Commander at the Sheriffs Office the other day. We were discussing radical Islam and he said, "Practically everyone in the jail these days are Muslim or get converted." I worked in the jail  in booking back in 2003. Then, the only Muslims who came into the jail were federal prisoners. (Many jails have contracts with the Federal Government to house federal prisoners awaiting trail.) Everyone single one I booked in was aggressive, demanding, and arrogant. They had Korans the size of telephone books, and got very agitated when I told them they could not take them back to the housing unit.

That so much has changed even in a small county jail like that are true indicators of how fast this movement is spreading. I went on the ISLAMIC FINDER website a few weeks ago to document Muslim owned businesses,schools, and Masjids in N.C. I was surprised when it was completed. I had over nine pages with some or all of the Muslim influences listed above in over 75 cities in North Carolina, stretching from the East Coast to the West Coast. Several small towns on the East Coast I was a police officer at while attending college even have mosques now. Asheboro, the county seat isn't a very big town-maybe 35,000 people-but there were two listings for Masjids. One turned out to be a large field which I presume they are going to build a mosque on. The other is a residence in an ordinary neighborhood-no sign saying, ISLAMIC CENTER OF CENTRAL NORTH CAROLINA like it's listed at the courthouse.

I've gotten some tips from friends who are investigators and will be visiting both city hall and the courthouse to assemble as much information as I can. The computer record shows the ICCNC to be a tax exempt organization-I'm not sure why? They have no listing on the phone book, no sign saying it's a religious center in the yard and no website-just lots of vehicles and about five middle eastern young men standing around when I cruised by the other day in an effort to check out the two addresses. One waved in a friendly manner-the others just scowled.

A former Air Force Officer is going on a "50 Mosques in 50 States" tour to evaluate the presence of radical Islam. The one he picked in my state, Raleigh, (one of about seven) he found radical. (One of his duties was to evaluate threats against the United States in the Middle East) He rated the threat to North Carolina and the U.S. as high, and filed a sworn affidavit with the State Bureau of Investigation, which is the highest law enforcement authority in the state.

Not sure how much good it will do, but I'm writing the Governor, Head of Public Safety, congressional sources, etc and making sure they are aware of this threat.

BUSTED: More Terror In Chicago

There was a terror bust in Chicago Monday morning. One that was similar to the NYC synagogue bomb plot, "a life and death situation." Much thanks to Choi, who noted that the arrest took place on the same block - Artesian Street (3 blocks away) - where the Muslim was arrested a couple of months ago in the Jewish day school threat.

TERROR RAID: Police Raid Apartment, 2 In Custody

Glenda Johnson saw so many police and plain clothed federal agents on her block that she thought someone had been shot.

"The police was so crowded, you couldn't even walk past. They was in trucks, they was in cars, they was in regular cars. It looked like someone had killed someone," said Johnson.

That swarm of badges consisted of the FBI, Chicago Police and the Joint Terrorism Task Force. In their sights were two buildings on the 6300 block of North Artesian. People who live in a six flat there say the feds were very interested in its basement, specifically, two storage lockers.

A spokesperson for the FBI confirms a search warrant was executed at the building as part of an ongoing investigation. Glenda Johnson says an FBI agent made the search sound extremely urgent.

“They was looking for someone who lives in this building. So I was like ‘what's the cause?’ They said ‘we don't want to say yet, but it's a life and death situation.’ I was like ‘wow,’” said Johnson.

A source in federal law enforcement told Fox Chicago that the case is similar to one that unfolded in New York yesterday.

Mohammed Abdullah Warsame, a naturalized Canadian citizen of Somali descent, was indicted in January, 2004, charged with one count of conspiracy to provide material support to al Qaeda, which plotted the September attacks.

American-born jailhouse converts to Islam hell bent on blowing up two Bronx synagogues and shooting down a military plane have been arrested following a massive, year-long investigation, sources told the NY Post.

NY TIMES: The charges, which include conspiracy to use weapons of mass destruction in the United States and conspiracy to acquire and use anti-aircraft missiles, represent some of the most significant allegations of domestic terrorism in some time. They come months into a new presidential administration, and as President Obama grapples with the question of how to handle detainees at the Guantánamo naval base in Cuba.

Though Mr. Cromitie, who is described as the lead defendant, is said to have told an F.B.I. informer that he had ties with Jaish-e-Muhammad, a jihadist group based in Pakistan, none of the defendants actually obtained weapons of mass destruction, according to the authorities.

Two years ago, two Muslims pleaded guilty to plotting to attack synagogues in Los Angeles. But officials said that they knew of no connection between those arrests and this latest plot in New York.

The FBI busted a homegrown New York terror cell late Wednesday night as the men sneaked around a Jewish temple in (Bronx) Riverdale planting what they thought were packages of C-4 explosives, sources told the Daily News.

The four men also allegedly had what they believed was a working Stinger missile in their car: officials said they wanted to shoot down a plane near Stewart Air National Guard Base.

Sources said the four men were arrested after a year long investigation that began when an informant connected to a mosque in Newburg said some militants wanted to buy bombs.

FBI agents posing as militants sold them what they thought were C-4 and a plane-downing Stinger missile.

The weaponry was all phony.

Arrested was alleged ringleader James Cromitie, the American-born son of an Afghan immigrant and his wife.

Alleged henchment David Williams, Onta Williams and Leguerre Payen were busted with him. Sources said they were American-born jailhouse converts to Islam.

The four alleged terrorists are expected to be arraigned Thursday in White Plains federal court.

The New York Post reveals that a fifth man initially involved with the alleged terror cell alerted the FBI about the plot. The Post also has the press release from the District Attorney's office. From that document:

In June 2008, an informant working with the FBI met [Alleged ring leader James Cromitie] in Newburgh, New York.  CROMITIE explained to the informant that his parents had lived in Afghanistan and that he was upset about the war there and that many Muslim people were being killed in Afghanistan and Pakistan by the United States Military forces.  CROMITIE expressed interest in returning to Afghanistan and spoke to the CW about how if he, CROMITIE, were to die a martyr, he would go to "paradise."  CROMITIE also expressed an interest in doing "something to America."  The following month, CROMITIE and the informant discussed the organization Jaish-e-Mohammed, a designated Foreign Terrorist Organization based in Pakistan, with which the informant claimed to be involved.  CROMITIE stated to the informant that he, CROMITIE, would be interested in joining Jaish-e-Mohammed to "do jihad."

UPDATE: New York authorities have been monitoring the terrorists for a year, after an informant connected to a mosque in Newburg contacted them about terrorists looking to purchase bombs. So...the FBI helps FOIL the plot...AND.....then....did you read what CAIR sent out?  (hat tip Pamela)

"CAIR continues to inform the community about the FBI's controversial use of agent provocateurs in American mosques and about the importance of using diplomacy and advocacy to ensure that American Muslims are treated justly by law enforcement agencies."

Starting in October, the informer began meeting Mr. Cromitie in a house in Newburgh that the F.B.I. had equipped with concealed video and audio equipment, the according to the complaint. In several meetings at that house, Mr. Cromitie and the other defendants discussed their desire to attack a synagogue in Riverdale — a heavily Jewish neighborhood in the northwestern Bronx — and to shoot down military aircraft at the Air National Guard Base in Newburgh.

Mr. Cromitie “asked the informant to supply surface-to-air guided missiles and explosives for the planned operations,” and the informer told Mr. Cromitie that he could provide him with C-4 plastic explosives, the complaint states.

Starting in April 2009, the complaint says, the four men selected the synagogue they intended to target — the Riverdale Jewish Center, at 3700 Independence Avenue — and conducted surveillance, including photographs, of military planes at the base.

5 Miami men convicted of Sears Tower attack plot Chicago Tribune

MIAMI - It took three trials, three juries and nearly three years, but federal prosecutors finally succeeded Tuesday in convicting five Miami men of plotting to start an anti-government insurrection by destroying Chicago's Sears Tower and bombing FBI offices. One man was acquitted.

When the FBI swarmed the downtrodden Liberty City neighborhood to make the arrests in June 2006, the administration of President George W. Bush hailed the case as a prime example of the Justice Department's post-Sept. 11 policy of disrupting potential terror plots in the earliest possible stages.

Yet hours of FBI recordings of terrorist talk contrasted with little concrete evidence of an evolving plot, triggering two mistrials because juries could not agree on verdicts against ringleader Narseal Batiste or five followers. One of the original seven defendants was acquitted after the first trial.

"Any cases that involve someone's mental intent, their intention when they made certain statements, are always difficult," said Matthew Orwig, former U.S. attorney in Texas who has monitored the Miami case. "It was a must-win for the government. They needed some vindication."

"I want to fight some jihad," Batiste says on one tape.

A key piece of evidence is an FBI video of the entire group pledging an oath of allegiance, or "bayat," to al-Qaida and Osama bin Laden in a March 16, 2006, ceremony led by an Arabic-speaking FBI informant posing as "Brother Mohammed" from al-Qaida. Testimony also showed the men took photographs and video of possible targets in Miami, including the FBI building, a courthouse complex and a synagogue.

But Batiste, who testified in all three trials, insisted he was only going along with Mohammed so he could obtain $50,000 or more for his struggling construction business and a nascent community outreach program. Batiste was leader of a Miami chapter of a sect known as the Moorish Science Temple, which combines elements of Christianity, Judaism and Islam and does not recognize the U.S. government's full authority.

Finally, this third jury found the way on its sixth day of deliberations.

It wasn't the only victory Tuesday for terrorism prosecutors. In a separate case in New York, a jury convicted a Lebanese-born Swede of trying to set up a terror training camp in Oregon in 1999. The verdict against Oussama Kassir capped a three-week trial.

In the Miami case, Batiste, 35, was the only one convicted of all four terrorism-related conspiracy counts, including plotting to provide material support to terrorists and conspiring to wage war against the U.S. Batiste, who was on the vast majority of FBI recordings, faces up to 70 years in prison.

Batiste's right-hand man, 29-year-old Patrick Abraham, was convicted on three counts and faces 50 years behind bars. Convicted on two counts and facing 30 years are 24-year-old Burson Augustin, 25-year-old Rotschild Augustine and 33-year-old Stanley Grant Phanor. Naudimar Herrera, 25, was cleared of all four charges.

Government Steals Land for 911 Islamic Crescent Memorial

Government to condemn land for Flight 93 memorial Yahoo (hat tip Michael)

PITTSBURGH – The government will begin taking land from seven property owners so that the Flight 93 memorial can be built in time for the 10th anniversary of the 2001 terrorist attacks, the National Park Service said.

In a statement obtained by The Associated Press, the park service said it had teamed up with a group representing the victims' families to work with landowners since before 2005 to acquire the land.

"But with few exceptions, these negotiations have been unsuccessful," said the statement.

Landowners dispute that negotiations have taken place and say they are disappointed at the turn of events.

Muslim Terror Training Camps in the United States

For nearly 30 years, a violent group with established roots in both the United States and Pakistan has been committing numerous crimes here in America, consisting of murder, bombings, robberies – all for the purpose of “purifying” Islam through violence.

This group, known as Jamaat ul-Fuqra (JF), was founded by Sheik Mubarak Ali Gilani during a 1980 visit to New York. In an effort to stop the perceived influence of Western ideology on Islam, JF uses violence to keep Islam from being ‘tainted’ by Western influences. JF will even wage violence upon members of their own faith, if they are suspected of not being faithful to Islam. In 1980, Gilani purchased 70 acres of land near the Catskill Mountains and founded Islamberg, in Hancock NY, a Muslim-only community where Muslim followers and converts could settle and reside in. Today, over 30 similar Muslim-only communities have sprung up all across the United States.

Past JF Crimes/Current Criminal Activities:

*Between 1979-90, there have been approximately 10 unsolved assassinations & 17 firebombing cases involving JF members [3] Some of the more publicized crimes involving JF include:
1983-High ranking JF member plants pipe bomb at Portland hotel
1984-3 South Asians killed in Tacoma, WA suburb by JF members
1985- Islamic mosque bombed, Houston TX
1989-storage locker search warrant in Colorado Springs revealed weapons cache and intelligence documents belonging to JF members. Documents included maps and potential targets to include military sites, oil and gas installations, and electrical facilities. 

Who Joins?

There is no single criteria or characteristic that leads to JF membership, although being a Muslim is a requirement. Prospective members come from different backgrounds. Those Muslims and converts could be working professionals, blue collar workers, religious leaders and students. However, there seems to be a push in attracting black Muslim converts from the U.S. prison system [5].

“According to the National Islamic Prison Foundation, there are approximately 150,000 U.S. conversions to Islam each year with reports of more than 10% of the prison population Muslim. These conversion rates are expected to rise.” [5] JF is largely successful with recruiting members, raising funds, setting up training camps and spreading their message, largely with the assistance of Muslim non profit organizations. JF is known to operate under the names Muslims of America and Quaranic Open University [2]. Because they are a tax exempt organization, the concern is that funds raised by this group in these private communities are going to support Gilani and potential terrorist activities overseas.

Locations:

Locations for these training sites range from rural unpopulated areas to abandoned warehouses in urban areas. (In fact, during the arrests of seven radicalized Muslim extremists in Miami 2006, members were found to have gathered in secluded warehouses to conduct paramilitary training .

JF has, and continues to purchase pieces of land in rather isolated areas, with a majority of critical infrastructure sites within close range. These features make certain rural properties ideal for JF followers. These areas are set up to establish a community where members can surround themselves with other JF followers by practicing their faith, military training and survivalist activities all while completely immersed within North American towns.

In order to live on a JF compound, JF members must agree to and follow all of JF’s laws and tenets; one of which is to preserve the secrecy of JF compounds. “The Fuqra’s structure is well concealed behind front outfits and consists of a network of safe houses and cells….cadres consistently maintain that it [compounds] do not exist.”[2] This presents potential safety concerns for law enforcement.

Armed members guard their compounds and do not allow for outside visitors. JF Headquarters (Islamberg) are in Hancock, NY. Islamberg is known to have a mosque, school house, grocery store and reportedly a firing range at their compound.

JF has also set up communities/training compounds in the following areas:

What Goes On At These Camps?

It remains very difficult to find out what is going on in these camps because outsiders are denied entrance to the compounds. Armed guards control the compounds at entry gates. DEARBORN, Mich. -- The top federal prosecutor in Detroit has encouraged Muslims to report allegations the FBI hired informants to infiltrate mosques and spy on leaders and worshipers.

U.S. Attorney Terrence Berg told Arab- and Muslim-American community leaders during a round-table discussion Thursday that such allegations have not been brought to his attention. But he said his office takes allegations of domestic spying "extremely seriously."

A coalition of Michigan Muslim leaders recently asked U.S. Attorney General Eric Holder to investigate several complaints related to spying on Muslims. Some leaders have called it a fishing expedition, something the FBI denies.

Detroit FBI chief Andrew Arena said he's disappointed these complaints weren't brought to him.

Long Island, NY - Rep. Peter King Remarks About Mosques Draw Muslim Ire Voz Ie Neias (hat tip Atlas readers)

Long Island, NY - Muslim leaders Saturday attacked as "bigoted" comments made by Rep. Peter King involving mosques and terrorism, although King shot back that he believes there is a "real problem" involving some mosques on Long Island.

In response to a recent Department of Homeland Security report about right-wing extremism, King told MSNBC Friday the department "has never put out a report talking about look out for mosques. Look out for Islamic terrorists in our country. Look out for the fact that very few Muslims come forward to cooperate with the police. If they sent out a report saying that, there would be hell to pay."

The New York Chapter of the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR-NY) issued a news release saying King was stereotyping Muslims and that the FBI itself has said most Muslims cooperate with the agency.

"We urge elected representatives to distance themselves from King's bigoted remarks," said Faiza N. Ali, CAIR-NY's community affairs director. "Sweeping generalizations about Muslims and mosques have no serious place in national security discourse."

King said Saturday, "I stand by everything I said. I consider any attack by CAIR to be a badge of honor."

The Seaford congressman, who is the ranking Republican member of the Homeland Security Committee, also said that "right now there are a number of mosques under surveillance by law enforcement agencies" on Long Island. He would not state which mosques or which law enforcement agencies, but said the surveillance has been going on for four or five years.

In August 2007 an NYPD report acknowledged surveillance of Muslim communities in a bid to identify risks from extremists.

King said he has been angered by what he called a lack of cooperation by Muslim leaders on Long Island with law enforcement agencies, their alleged refusal to condemn al-Qaida, and conspiracy theories some have floated about the FBI, CIA and Israel being involved in the 9/11 attacks.

Muslim leaders on Long Island called King's allegations nonsense. Attorney Omar Chaudhry of Huntington said he personally gives diversity training courses at the Nassau County Police Academy, and that the Westbury-based Islamic Center of Long Island has hosted FBI officials at its dinners.

Another center leader, Habeeb Ahmed, called al-Qaida "a bunch of loonies," and said, "You cannot blame the whole community for the actions of a few. Every community has a few bad apples."

Police say she gave a video-taped confession to killing the child at her Orland Park home.

But her husband, Alaeddin Hadid, says police humiliated her by forcing her to remove her headscarf for a booking photo, which he said was an insult against the couple's Muslim faith.

Now it is done at a bookstore on Murfreesboro pike under the name Qaranexpress. A Quranexpress was busted in Minneapolis just a couple of days ago. A coincidence or criminal network? You tell me. What's a little money laundering next to child rape, child marriage, sharia beatings, etc.?

This is the situation in the Al Farooq Youth Center (registered as a homeschool). I went to the school which is located at 1617 4th Ave Southt just down the street from the masjid at 1421 4th Ave South. The kids attend school from 8 am around noon they go to the mosque for lunch and prayers. Then they go (by van) back to the school (it is run like a typical madrasa dineyeh) they stay at the school til about 3pm. Then they go to the mosque for a meal and prayers around 3:30. The parents come to meet the kids at the mosque. They will stay at the mosque for the 5:30 and 6:30 prayers and then go home. During the time that the kids are in the school, they study Arabic and hadith and some reading in English and math although I found that most of the kids, even those born in the USA speak English with a heavy accent that is difficult to understand. On Saturday and Sunday, the kids and teenagers going to highschool meet at the mosque at 8am to study Qur'an and hadith. At 12:30 they pray. etc.

I stayed in the mosque Sat, Sun, Mon and Tues for at least 4 hours per day. "Diversity Visas" and "Religious Visas": Importing Jihad

Changes. President hopeychange wasted no time in opening up the visa regulations, beginning with "religious visas." Before, whoever wanted to enter as a supposed missionary needed to demonstrate his/her affiliation with a religious institution for at least two years. Now they changed it to almost no proof at all.

"Missionary" Christians come and go, and priests, pastors, nuns, ministers have used this visa, but their number is so low that it is insignificant. The Jews also use this type of visa, but it is the same as the Christians. The numbers are low, and, as with the Christians, generally those folks use a tourist visa.

It is predominately Muslims who use the "religious visa".  And that number is quite high. Many countries such as Pakistan or territories such as Palestine use this type of visa, because it has been harder for them to get a regular visa (though that is no longer true for the Palestinians). But because most Muslims can't really provide or do not want to provide the information of a specific mosque they've attended or they've "preached" at, they complained -- and now DOS has granted their wish of waiving the 2-year proof requirement.

Bottom line, this yet another type of visa they are using, and this change helps them enormously.

In addition, another type of visa that is dangerous and is an IV (Immigrant Visa), is what is called a "Diversity" visa -- a class of immigrants known as “diversity immigrants.” Diversity Visas (DV) each fiscal year are made available to persons from countries with low rates of immigration to the United States. The annual DV program makes visas available to persons meeting the simple eligibility requirements. A computer-generated, random lottery drawing chooses selectees for diversity visas. The visas are distributed among six geographic regions, with a greater number of visas going to regions with lower rates of immigration.

Just to give you an idea of the impact of these changes on regions rife with jihad, look at the number -- and this is just April alone. Just the month of April.

Immigrant numbers in the "diversity visa" for April alone have Africa at 26,900, Egypt 17,400, Somalia 15,700, Nigeria 9,900, Asia 17,400, Bangladesh 11,000. And don't be fooled by Europe's number of 20,800 -- diversity means we are  importing Europe's Pakistanis, Moroccans, Algerians, etc., and we know how well they have integrated into those societies.

Everything else aside, I know from my source that that child is in imminent danger. Her mother is too. We do not live in an Islamic state. I am at a loss as to why the State department is bringing whole Muslim communities into our small towns and cities. CHICAGO -- The American Civil Liberties Union of Illinois believes the FBI and local police, working as members of the Joint Terrorism Task Force, are encouraging rampant spying, NBC5's Mary Ann Ahern reported.

ACLU legal director Harvey Grossman said the groups filed Freedom of Information Act requests on Thursday with the FBI to find out why the surveillance by task forces set up to combat terrorism also targeted anti-war and Islamic groups. The civil liberties organization wants to know who has been interviewed, investigated or subjected to searches by the task forces, and how the task forces are funded.

The filing by the ACLU and local activists group mirrors similar actions taken in several cities across the nation on Thursday.

California: Rift develops between Muslims, FBI over mosque surveillance

IRVINE – A coalition of Islamic organizations angered by reports of the government sending a paid informant to infiltrate Orange County mosques is threatening to cut ties with the FBI and accusing the agency of using "McCarthy-era tactics."

The Nashville mosque story is horrendous, and the FBI won't touch it. They had no problem raiding the compound in TX, but not this one which is a lot worse. It's not just child abuse that is happening down there, but they can bust the mosque and these "pious Muslims" on child abuse charges. We can get them on that - think Al Capone and tax evasion. And Americans can see how this is tied to shariah, which Obama's latest appointee wishes to bring to America.

The media made initial attempts to cover it. However, they backed off when they noticed the local bought FBI and the headquarters were not willing to do anything, even after overwhelming evidence. This case needs attention NOW. Not tomorrow or next week, but now. I am sending the invitation to the story to a whole bunch of independent sources. I got some, but you do a good job in investigation. With this case, we have lots and lots of evidence. The mosques are ranked from 1 -10 in terms of the threat level. A 10 is the highest, and it extremely rare that a mosque/etc. gets a 10. But in Nashville one of the mosques investigated got a 10. It is disgusting and quite disturbing and this in addition to the typical violent teachings/indoctrination and calls for violent jihad.

The FBI have done nothing. They had no problem in raiding a Mormon compound that didn't pose a threat like this one does. If law enforcement won't protect us from this violent scourge, then who will? Something must be done now, not tomorrow, not next week, NOW. If the corrupt media won't cover it, you must demand that your elected officials enforce the laws of our land.

1. Material (lectures, books, and manuals) by convicted terrorist supporters such as Ali al-Timimi and others is available and provided to worshippers (to include children).
2. Worshippers advocate Sharia law in its entirety.
3. A child informed my female researcher the Islamic teachers "hit" them during Islamic studies, and "her leg hurts."
4. Worshippers advised polygamy is being practiced by some men of the mosque.
5. My female researcher was escorted by an Al-Farooq worshipper to a Somali store "hidden" in a section of Nashville that could only be located if taken there. The worshipper informed my researcher the "store" had moved because of "government problems." "Bootleg" copies of Islamic lectures/films were being provided at the store (observed by my researcher) and this store was involved in financial transactions, such as sending money from America to Somalia/other locations.
6. I reviewed many of the materials distributed by the mosque, and there are statements advocating killing people and destroying countries where people do not live their lives under Sharia law and who oppress Islam/Muslims.

My CT researchers and I conducted ‘first-hand’ research at a predominately Somalia based mosque, Al-Farooq Masjid, 1421 4^th Ave. S. Nashville, TN. Initially I conducted a pre-assessment of the various Islamic Centers within the area. Although there are other mosques in the area advocating the ideology of Sharia law for the U.S. and advocating the same ideology as Islamic terrorists groups, our research uncovered more frightening and disturbing intelligence. Not only does Al-Farooq provide materials by convicted Islamic terrorists to their worshippers, they practice polygamy (per statements made by Al Farooq worshippers) as allowed under Sharia law, which also advocates children to be taken as ‘child brides’ married to older men. One need only research how often this occurs in Somalia.

In Feb 09, I obtained evidence and there were several indicators the children were being physically and emotionally abused. I immediately provided my analysis and concerns to authorities. Almost immediately First Amendment religious freedom rights came up and their fear of being sued by Islamic organizations. I knew from the beginning when I had to explain the basics of Sharia law and who Islamic scholars such as Ahmad Sakr (U.S. based scholar who lectures to children and informs them to not follow the U.S. Constitution, but instead to follow Sharia law) are, it would be useless to rely on them alone to protect the innocent children of al Farooq, which ultimately means our country is not being protected. The objective of my company is to simultaneously provide the research intelligence to the American public and to Law Enforcement (LE). In our current times it is often necessary for news organizations and the public to become involved before issues are taken seriously.

In Mar 2009, I sent two researchers (male and female) to Al Farooq to obtain further information. On 9 Mar 2009, a female child informed one of our female researchers she and other children are ‘hit’ at the ‘Al Farooq School’ by a teacher and ‘her’ legs hurt. Additional lectures by convicted terrorists and their supporters were provided to my team. Again I notified authorities, but received no encouragement the allegations of child abuse or the evidence pertaining to Al Farooq leadership advocating violence would be responded to.

Authorities wanted ‘hard evidence’ children were being abused and Islamic leaders at Al Farooq were educating the worshippers to commit violence against innocent people, America, and Israel. Respectfully I advised authorities Americans rely on them to take the lead and conduct investigations pertaining to allegations. My organization is limited in manpower and funds. Taxpayers pay our LE and elected officials to protect our country. It is beyond my capability to convince authorities that distributing material by Al Qaeda, Mawdudi (JI), and Ali Al Timimi to children can lead to violence and is dangerous for all concerned. One need only look at the Palestinian schools who are educated by Hamas.

FP: Do Islamic leaders of Al Farooq, Nashville, TN, advocate and encourage the worshippers of the mosque to hate America and to follow the teachings of convicted Islamic terrorists such as Ali Al Timimi?

Gaubatz: Yes. My team and I were provided several hours of Ali Al Timimi lectures (and others) I had previously never heard, and I have listened to hundreds of hours of lectures by ‘Islamic scholars’.

FP: Do Islamic leaders distribute material in America encouraging Muslim men to violate U.S. laws in regards to ‘polygamy’ and to force children (6 -16 years old) to marry older men?

Gaubatz: Yes. Al Farooq has these materials and polygamy is being practiced. On my blog at www.dgaubatz.blogspot.com, I have attached a one minute clip showing the library of al Farooq. I will update my blog continuously to show exact materials obtained and being distributed at Al Farooq.

FP: Do they (Al Farooq leaders) advocate an Islamic nation in America to be ruled under Sharia law?

Gaubatz: One need only review lectures/materials by Mawdudi, Timimi, Sakr, and Siraj Wahhaj. My team collected evidence supporting the above and can provide sworn affidavits to law enforcement/Department of Justice Officials (DOJ) at any level, but first the American public must convince Nashville authorities that advocating innocent Muslim children to be involved in ‘physical Jihad’ against America is illegal. If we do not have elected officials who can and will do this, then our government should discontinue the double standards of convicting some Islamic scholars (such as Timimi) and ignoring the actions of others.

The governor of Tennessee, Phil Bredesen, who was formerly the mayor of Nashville, was instrumental in bringing the Somali refugees to Tennessee to work for Tyson and Dell after the USCIS raided their plants and deported the illegal Mexican workers.  Notifying himwould not be useful.

A pilot who allegedly stole a Cessna plane from a Canadian flight school and was pursued for hours across the Midwest by fighter jets, was taken into custody after he landed on a Missouri highway late today and took off running, an FBI spokesman said. Cessna 172

A Cessna 172 like the one that officials said was stolen from a Canadian flight school and eventually landed on a Missouri highway April 6, 2009.

The pilot landed the single engine Cessna 172 on U.S. Highway 60 in Ellsinore, Mo., at approximately 9:50 p.m. ET, and was caught by Missouri State Highway Patrol officers, FBI spokesman Rich Kolko said.

The pilot was identified as Yavuz Berke, formerly known as Adam Leon, a 31-year-old naturalized Canadian citizen who was born in Turkey, Kolko said.

The plane had been escorted by two F-16 fighter jets since shortly after it crossed into U.S. airspace from Canada, and the pilot did not respond to multiple requests that he establish communications with ground controllers.

MUSLIM GROUP CLAIMS RESPONSIBILITY FOR BINGHAMTON MASSACRE

A notorious jihad group from Pakistan is "taking credit" for yesterday's massacre. Why don't "moderate Muslims" take to the streets denouncing this depravity? All of it? 

Baitullah Mehsud, the Leader of Pakistan's unified Taliban movement, claimed responsibility for the murder of 13 people at the American Civic Center (an immigration center).

Last week, Mehsud threatened to attack the US and took credit for three recent attacks in Pakistan, including the  deadly military assault on a police training center in Lahore. Baitullah claimed responsibility for the Lahore attack attack as well as suicide attacks against security forces in Islamabad and Bannu during interviews with Pakistani news outlets and international wire services.(more here)

Taliban Chief Claims Responsibility for N.Y. Shooting Massacre

A Pakistani Taliban militant leader has claimed responsibility for the attack on a U.S. immigration center in New York state in which 13 people were killed, Reuters reported.

"I accept responsibility. They were my men. I gave them orders in reaction to U.S. drone attacks," Baituallah Mehsud told Reuters by telephone from an undisclosed location on Saturday.

U.S. officials were not immediately available for comment about Mehsud's claim, Reuters reported, and one Pakistani security analyst dismissed the claim as a publicity stunt.

Representative Maurice Hinchey, whose district includes Binghamton, told the New York Times that indications are the gunman was an immigrant from Vietnam.

Mehsud's claim comes as a suspected U.S. drone fired two missiles at an alleged militant hide-out Saturday in northwestern Pakistan, killing 13 people.

The U.S. is suspected of carrying out more than three dozen such strikes over the past year in Pakistan near the Afghan border, where militants often launch attacks against U.S. and NATO troops. The drone attacks have caused tension with the Pakistani government, which frequently complains about the U.S. carrying out strikes on its territory.

President Barack Obama has said he will step up the pressure on Pakistan to crack down on militants in its territory by making aid to the country conditional on the government's anti-terrorism efforts. Pakistan has said it is committed to the fight, but many Western officials suspect the country's military intelligence agency of maintaining links with militant groups.

Obama said last month the U.S. would insist that action be taken "one way or another" when the country has intelligence about high-level terrorist targets in Pakistan, a likely reference to the drone strikes.

EGYPTIAN WITH TERROR MATERIALS FOUND NOT GUILTY OF BOMB CHARGES

The justice department does not work in the jihad's war on the West. Juries need crash courses on Islam, Quran and the jihad mandate. Youssef Samir Megahed and Ahmed Mohamed were tried separately on charges of carrying explosives in the trunk of their vehicle while speeding down US highway 176 in Florida - explosives that prosecutors said could have been used to build a dangerous rocket.

Youssef Samir Megahed was found not guilty of charges resulting in explosives, pipe bombs and a mysterious liquid  found  in the trunk of their car. Ahmed Mohamed has already been sentenced to 15 years in prison.

Egypt’s government paid for the legal representation of at least one of the two suspects in the Goose Creek terror case.

Attorney John Fitzgibbons told a judge he was in talks with the Egyptian embassy in Washington and likely will be hired to represent suspended University of South Florida student Ahmed Abdellatif Sherif Mohamed.

Ahmed el-Qawassni, an official in Egypt’s foreign ministry, said the government is closely monitoring the case and confirmed that an attorney is being hired for Mohamed, who was born in Kuwait to Egyptian parents. (more here)

Egyptian student found not guilty of bomb charges (hat tip Davida)

TAMPA, Fla. – In an emotional conclusion to a federal trial, an Egyptian student was found not guilty on charges of carrying explosives that prosecutors said could have been used to build a dangerous rocket.

Youssef Samir Megahed's family teared up as the jury read its verdict Friday afternoon, finding him not guilty of carrying explosives across state lines and possessing a destructive device.

Prosecutors said deputies found PVC pipes, fuses, and other materials that could have been combined with gasoline to build a destructive device when the former University of South Florida student and a friend were pulled over in South Carolina in August 2007. The attorney for Megahed (pronounced MEG-uh-hed) had argued that the items were no more harmful than a road flare, and that his friend, Ahmed Mohamed, put the items in the car trunk without Megahed's knowledge.

The case was filled with terrorist overtones, and came nearly four months after Mohamed was sentenced to 15 years in prison for making a YouTube video showing would-be terrorists how to turn a remote-control toy into a bomb detonator. The 12-minute clip was found on a laptop computer inside the men's car.

Megahed wasn't charged in connection with the video.

The 12-member jury deliberated for about 22 hours over four days before reaching their verdict. As U.S. District Judge Steven D. Merryday read the not guilty finding, Megahed's family watched with tears and joy.

"We feel comfort and happiness for our son that we win this case," Samir Megahed, the young man's father, said.

Defense attorney Adam Allen said the case shows that the justice system works.

During the trial, Allen told jurors Megahed, 23, and his friend were on "an innocent weekend college road trip" to see East Coast beaches when they were arrested near Charleston, S.C. But prosecutor Jay Hoffer said that what deputies found in the trunk of the men's borrowed Toyota Camry made them "jump back in fear" — four sections of PVC pipe containing a mixture of sugar, potassium nitrate, cat litter, plus fuses. He described the items as "low explosives" that were illegal to carry across state lines and could have been combined with gasoline to create a destructive device.

Hoffer said the men spoke to each other in Arabic after they were stopped, "getting their stories straight."

Deputies also found a laptop computer with a video Mohamed had produced and posted on the YouTube Web site. Mohamed narrated the video in Arabic, saying he wanted to teach "martyrdoms" and "suiciders" how to save themselves so they can continue to fight invaders, including U.S. soldiers.

Read it all and puke. CAIR weighs in with more deceit. Ramzy Killic, director of the Council on American-Islamic Relations' Tampa Chapter, sat with Megahed's family in the courtroom as they awaited the verdict on Friday. He said he was not surprised by their finding.

"I was confident from the beginning the jury would choose fact over fear," he said.

Just the opposite. I think the jury chose fear over fact.

The chicken processor will also pay $215,000 to 128 Somali-American Muslims who claimed religious discrimination, including discharge and discipline.

In a related case involving an employment agency, The Work Connection, another $150,000 will be paid to 28 people. They refused to sign forms stating they would not refuse to handle pork if they were referred to work at Gold'n plump facilities in Cold Spring, Minn., and Arcadia, Wis.

A federal judge gave approval for Gold'n Plump Inc. and an employment agency to pay $1.35 million to settle lawsuits alleging religious discrimination against Muslims at a chicken processing plant in Cold Spring, Minn.

The money will go to 128 Somali Muslims who claim that St. Cloud-based Gold'n Plump violated their religious rights by refusing to allow them prayer breaks during work hours, and to another 28 workers who said a St. Paul employment agency, the Work Connection Inc., required them to sign forms acknowledging they would be required to handle pork.

If they don't want to handle pork, don't take this job (away from an American, no doubt).

The U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission investigated the allegations and said it found cause to believe discrimination occurred, according to lawsuits filed last year.

In a settlement approved Tuesday by U.S. Magistrate Judge Jeanne Graham, Gold'n Plump will add a paid break during the second half of each shift to accommodate Muslim employees who wish to pray. The break is in addition to one early in the shift and lunch breaks required by law.

The Work Connection has agreed to provide offers of employment to the 28 job seekers who were turned away for not signing the "pork form."

The $1.35 million settlement includes $985,000 for legal costs and $365,000 in cash payments to the 156 workers

Is the Jihad On Its Way to Your Neighborhood?

National Intelligence Director Dennis Blair said last Thursday that some of the 240 prisoners who are still being held at the Guantanamo Bay Naval Base may be released into the civilian population in the United States. AP reports, contradictorily, that this would only take place in the case of prisoners who are “deemed non-threatening” and yet whose “home countries…won’t take them.”

If they’re “non-threatening,” why won’t their home countries allow them to come back?

Others will be released into a neighborhood near you if they are in danger of being tortured if they are sent back home. So apparently the prospect of Americans being tortured by the detainees is just fine, while the thought of the detainees being tortured by their own governments is too horrible to contemplate. Blair made a humanitarian case, saying that the released prisoners would even receive welfare benefits, and explaining, “We can’t put them out on the street.” Why, of course not – unless, apparently, it’s a street in an American city.

But Americans won’t really be in any danger, will they? After all, the only detainees who will be on their way to your town will be the “non-threatening” ones, right? “Blair,” AP noted, “said the U.S. government is building dossiers on each of the prisoners at Guantanamo.” Well, then, the folks in Des Moines and Dubuque can rest easy! After all, if the government is compiling dossiers, what could go wrong? Surely they won’t allow any potentially harmful jihadist to roam free in the United States, will they?

Well, let’s look at the record. How have others released from Gitmo turned out? In December 2007 the U.S. government released an Afghan citizen named Abdullah Ghulam Rasoul and returned him to Afghanistan. Social workers will be happy to learn that since his release from Gitmo, Rasoul, now known as Mullah Abdullah Zakir, has found gainful employment: as the new chief operations officer for the Taliban in the southern part of Afghanistan, he is keeping busy waging jihad warfare against American troops.

Likewise Abu Sufyan al-Azdi al-Shahri, formerly Guantanamo prisoner number 372, is now a leader of Al-Qaeda in Yemen. Abu al-Hareth Muhammad al-Oufi, once found at Gitmo as prisoner number 333, is now an Al-Qaeda field commander in the same country. However, another former inmate, Abdullah Saleh al-Ajmi, will not make the Gitmo detainees’ reunion bash: he blew himself up in a suicide attack in Iraq in May 2008.

Pentagon spokesman Commander Jeffrey Gordon revealed several years ago that Guantanamo prisoners captured in Afghanistan had claimed to be anything but jihad fighters – they had all been picked up by mistake, and were humble cooks, farmers, truck drivers, small businessmen, and the like. “Non-threatening” occupations all! Once released, however, “we are aware of dozens of cases where they have returned to militant activities, participated in anti-US propaganda or engaged in other activities,” said Gordon. The Pentagon announced in January that 61 former Guantanamo inmates had returned to the jihad – not just to distributing “anti-US propaganda,” but to involvement in outright terrorist activity.

Even rehabilitation programs for Guantanamo inmates haven’t worked. According to a UPI report last February, “Saudi officials said the 11 former Guantanamo Bay detainees underwent a Saudi rehabilitation program for former jihadists and are thought to have fled the country, joining terrorist groups elsewhere.” Apparently Saudi rehab for jihadists isn’t exactly the Betty Ford clinic.

The plan to release Guantanamo inmates in the United States as free men has to be evaluated in light of the fact that the government’s track record on releasing prisoners from Gitmo has not been exactly stellar. The Obama Administration’s solicitude for the plight of these prisoners fails to take into account the fact that nothing is done now or has been done in the past at Guantanamo to disabuse detainees there of the beliefs and assumptions that led them to wage war against the United States in the first place. Accordingly, what assurance can Obama or Dennis Blair give us that these men will not return to the jihad in the American city in which they’ve been released?

They can give us no such assurance. And the American people deserve better than that.

Ayman Saeed Batarfi, a Yemeni doctor, is a member of al-Qaida, supported the Taliban and has been an official of al-Wafa - another organization identified by the U.S. Government as a terrorist supporting group.

The U.S. government had charged him with providing medical support to al-Qaida terrorists and he has freely admitted meeting with Osama bin Laden. As a medical doctor, he also worked closely with senior al-Qaida microbiologists while in Afghanistan and purchased medical equipment for al-Qaida.

He’s not the first

This is not the first terrorist that President Obama has set free. On February 23rd Obama released Guantanamo Bay detainee Binyam Mohamed. Mohamed was captured in Pakistan in April, 2002 and has admitted to training at various al-Qaida camps. He is alleged to have plotted multiple attacks on American soil and now he is free in England.

Why is he being released?

Batarfi is being released not because he has been deemed innocent or no longer a threat, but because the evidence against him is not admissible in a civilian court.

Woman charged in meat needles case in court Friday  National Post hat tip Jane

GUELPH, Ont. -- An Ontario woman charged in connection with a case of tampered food at a store in Guelph, Ont., is a former employee of a Maple Leaf Foods plant in the city, the company said in a statement Friday.

Mastoora Qezil, 41, was arrested by Guelph police Thursday and is facing a common nuisance charge. She was held in custody overnight and was expected to be released Friday after an appearance in bail court, Guelph police said.

The woman worked at the plant for seven years, Maple Leaf said.

"We are very pleased that the police investigation has resulted in a charge being laid," said Maple Leaf. "We also grateful to the co-operation extended by the police and the retailer throughout the investigation. As this is a legal matter before the courts we have no further comment."

The Canadian Food Inspection Agency issued warnings last week after sewing needles were found in meat products at a supermarket.

Guelph is about 100 kilometres west of Toronto.

Despite all this, the State department has stepped up its efforts to import jihad into America. And why bring in hostile forces that take American jobs away from American workers at a time when employment is approaching record highs?

Somali Muslims Changing Small Town (hat tip Erick)

CBNNews.com - SHELBYVILLE, Tenn. - It has been nearly 20 years since Somalia last had a functioning government. Islamic jihadists now control most of the country-and sharia is the law of the land. Tens of thousands of Somali refugees have resettled in America in recent years to escape the chaos of their homeland, which is located in the Horn of Africa.

But the transition isn't going smoothly in one small town.

At first glance, Shelbyville is your typical sleepy southern hamlet. It's nestled in middle Tennessee, where the walking horse is king.

There's Main St., the local sheriff, a movie theatre. It's all very "Mayberry," except for one big difference: the recent arrival of hundreds of Somali Muslims.

Small Town Having Difficulties

Shelbyville is about an hour's drive from Nashville, in the heart of the Bible Belt. Like many Americans, the citizens of Shelbyville knew little about Somalia other than the 1993 Black Hawk Down incident, in which 18 U.S. servicemen were killed while battling warlords and Islamic jihadists in the Somali capital of Mogadishu.

So when hundreds of Somalis began turning up in the town--many of them dressed in traditional Islamic garb--locals quickly took notice.

"They've had an impact here. Unfortunately, it's not been a good impact," said Brian Mosely, a reporter for the local Shelbyville Times-Gazette.

Mosely won an award from the Associated Press for a series of articles he wrote for the paper about Shelbyville's Somalis.

"I found that there was just an enormous culture clash going on here," he said. "The Somalis were--according to a lot of the people I talked to here--were being very, very rude, inconsiderate, very demanding. Tthey would go into stores and haggle over prices. They would also demand to see a male salesperson, would not deal with women in stores"

Different People, Different Culture

"Their culture is totally alien to anything the residents are used to," Mosely added.

The problems extend to local schools--where some Somali students won't talk to female administrators. There have also been issues with local law enforcement.

"I'm not really sure whether that is because of experiences with the police in their country, or whether that's just the way their culture is," said Shelbyville's Police Chief, Austin Swing.

Guess Swing swings both ways.

Shelbyville is home to about 17,000 people. The town's Somali population is estimated to be between 400 and 1,000.

Mosely says the Somalis have isolated themselves from the rest of the community.

"We're talking about people who have not had any experience with Western civilization," he explained. "They don't know the language. Things like running water are a miracle to some of these folks…you don't take people from a totally alien culture, put them into a community, and then say 'alright, you must get along.'

Thye don't want to get along? Why are they here?

Little Chance to Adapt

Abdirizak Hassan is the director of the Somali Community Center in nearby Nashville. He says the state of Tennessee has no programs to help immigrants integrate into their new surroundings.

"They come, and the only thing they can do is go to work, and then after work they go back to the apartment," Hassan said. "They're totally isolated and there's no interaction between them and the locals."

He added that some have even expressed a desire to return to Somalia.

I'll take up a collection. Let's fulfill their desire.

"A lot of them face eviction. They put them in an apartment complex that costs $600 a month. They can't get a job that gives them that much money," Hassan explained.

"And sometimes you have families, like, a single mother with eight kids, or seven kids or six kids, and you expect her to go to work in six months time with no English, no driver's skills, nothing? I mean, sometimes it's impossible."

Why did the State department bring them here?

"The locals, mostly, when they see a few hundred people in their backyard with a different look, strangers, you know, of course they have the right to be concerned," he added. "But I think if the local authorities and organizations like ours do a lot of outreach, I think we can bridge the gap."

So how did so many Somalis end up in rural Shelbyville? The answer can be complicated.

Taken in by the U.S.

The State Department helps resettle refugees from war-torn countries like Somalia in the United States. The resettlement project is one part of a taxpayer-funded refugee aid program with a billion dollar budget.

Immigrants are chosen from UN refugee camps. The selected refugees then undergo a few days of cultural orientation and are soon on their way to America.

Although most of the refuges are repatriated to their home countries, the U.S. takes in more refugees than any other nation--with a cap of about 80,000 this year.

"What we do is we look at the most vulnerable groups of refugees," said Todd Pierce of the State Department's Bureau of Population, Refugees and Migration. "One group we've tried to help is Iraqi Christians and those who've worked with U.S. and Coalition forces."

Pierce said the resettlement program helps improve America's image in the eyes of the world.

"It's one of the best facets of America, that we are a very generous, hospitable country," he said. "This is something that has been bipartisan for decades now--we've brought people in….we look at Africa, we look at the Middle East, we look at Southeast Asia."

A Rocky Transition?

More than 150,000 Somalis now live in the U.S., most in larger cities like Minneapolis, Nashville, Boston, Seattle and Columbus, Ohio.

Gang activity has been a major concern. And according to the U.S. government, at least a dozen young Somali Americans have returned home in recent months to join an al-Qaeda-linked terrorist group called al-Shabab.

As a result, the FBI is conducting investigations in several cities with large Somali populations. The fear is that the Somalis will return to America and put their terror training to use on U.S. soil.

Pierce says the government tries to shut any potential troublemakers out of the refugee resettlement program.

"We work closely with the Department of Homeland Security to make sure we vet people coming here, especially since 9/11. It's very important," he said.

Enter Shelbyville

Somalis in other cities were drawn to Shelbyville by the jobs offered at the local Tyson chicken processing plant.

The plant came under fire from the Department of Justice in 2001 for hiring illegal Hispanic immigrants.

The large influx of Somalis has only added to locals' frustration with the plant and the government.

"We've had three major industries shut down here and 700 to 800 people have lost their jobs," Mosely said. "They're trying to find anything they can, and then--as they see it--the government is shipping people from overseas to come here and take their jobs."

Getting Past Controversy

Despite locals' continued complaints over its hiring practices, Tyson says it is doing things by the book. A Tyson spokesman said the company is following federal employment guidelines--and that the majority of its employees are local residents.

The Tyson plant generated national controversy last fall when it dropped Labor Day as a paid holiday in favor of the Muslim holiday Eid al-Fitr.

The decision was later reversed, but longtime local residents say the incident was symbolic of the larger changes taking place in Shelbyville--changes they are coping with as best they can.

On Campus: The Pro-Palestinian's Real Agenda Khaled Abu Toameh

During a recent visit to several university campuses in the U.S., I discovered that there is more sympathy for Hamas there than there is in Ramallah.

Listening to some students and professors on these campuses, for a moment I thought I was sitting opposite a Hamas spokesman or a would-be-suicide bomber.

I was told, for instance, that Israel has no right to exist, that Israel’s “apartheid system” is worse than the one that existed in South Africa and that Operation Cast Lead was launched only because Hamas was beginning to show signs that it was interested in making peace and not because of the rockets that the Islamic movement was launching at Israeli communities.

I was also told that top Fatah operative Marwan Barghouti, who is serving five life terms in prison for masterminding terror attacks against Israeli civilians, was thrown behind bars simply because he was trying to promote peace between Israelis and Palestinians.

Furthermore, I was told that all the talk about financial corruption in the Palestinian Authority was “Zionist propaganda” and that Yasser Arafat had done wonderful things for his people, including the establishment of schools, hospitals and universities.

The good news is that these remarks were made only by a minority of people on the campuses who describe themselves as “pro-Palestinian,” although the overwhelming majority of them are not Palestinians or even Arabs or Muslims.

The bad news is that these groups of hard-line activists/thugs are trying to intimidate anyone who dares to say something that they don’t like to hear.

When the self-designated “pro-Palestinian” lobbyists are unable to challenge the facts presented by a speaker, they resort to verbal abuse.

On one campus, for example, I was condemned as an “idiot” because I said that a majority of Palestinians voted for Hamas in the January 2006 election because they were fed up with financial corruption in the Palestinian Authority.

On another campus, I was dubbed as a “mouthpiece for the Zionists” because I said that Israel has a free media. There was another campus where someone told me that I was a ‘liar” because I said that Barghouti was sentenced to five life terms because of his role in terrorism.

And then there was the campus (in Chicago) where I was “greeted” with swastikas that were painted over posters promoting my talk. The perpetrators, of course, never showed up at my event because they would not be able to challenge someone who has been working in the field for nearly 30 years.

What struck me more than anything else was the fact that many of the people I met on the campuses supported Hamas and believed that it had the right to “resist the occupation” even if that meant blowing up children and women on a bus in downtown Jerusalem.

I never imagined that I would need police protection while speaking at a university in the U.S. I have been on many Palestinian campuses in the West Bank and Gaza Strip and I cannot recall one case where I felt intimidated or where someone shouted abuse at me.

Ironically, many of the Arabs and Muslims I met on the campuses were much more understanding and even welcomed my “even-handed analysis” of the Israeli-Arab conflict. After all, the views I voiced were not much different than those made by the leaderships both in Israel and the Palestinian Authority. These views include support for the two-state solution and the idea of coexistence between Jews and Arabs in this part of the world.

The so-called pro-Palestinian “junta” on the campuses has nothing to offer other than hatred and de-legitimization of Israel. If these folks really cared about the Palestinians, they would be campaigning for good government and for the promotion of values of democracy and freedom in the West Bank and Gaza Strip.

Their hatred for Israel and what it stands for has blinded them to a point where they no longer care about the real interests of the Palestinians, namely the need to end the anarchy and lawlessness, and to dismantle all the armed gangs that are responsible for the death of hundreds of innocent Palestinians over the past few years.

While this may be true, there is no ignoring the fact that the anti-Israel campaign on U.S. campuses is not less dangerous. What is happening on these campuses is not in the frame of freedom of speech. Instead, it is the freedom to disseminate hatred and violence. As such, we should not be surprised if the next generation of jihadists comes not from the Gaza Strip or the mountains and mosques of Pakistan and Afghanistan, but from university campuses across the U.S.

Islamberg resembles a ghost town.

The Muslim settlement captured national attention two years ago when a story entitled “Springtime in Islamberg” appeared in Atlas Shrugs, Canada Free Press, and other news pages. Since the publication of this expose, Islamberg became an item of interest for ABC News, Fox News, CNN, and other national news outlets; a subject of attention by such best-selling authors as Robert Spencer and Brigitte Gabriel; and the centerpiece of a documentary by Christian Action Network.

But much has changed within this 70 acre Islamic settlement that is located in the dense forest between the small rural villages of Deposit and Hancock in upper New York State.

The sentry post is gone and no guards are in sight.

A handful of children play in the mud and muck before rows of rusty old trailers and a few women in full burqas saunter along the rutty dirt road that leads to the heart of the squalid Muslim compound.

Young men in Islamic garb no longer congregate before the makeshift mosque, and no students are in attendance at the one room shack that serves as Sheikh Gilani's “International Quranic Open University”.

The few residents who remain, clearly are not environmentalists. Sewage seeps from septic tanks and outhouses into the creek that flows at the base of the settlement. Bags of rotting garbage remain stacked between the trailers. And the once pristine countryside is now littered with junk cars, moldy mattresses, empty tanks of propane, and old appliances.

Gunfire no longer can be heard from the firing ranges along the eastern parameter of the 70 acre property - - and no grunts come from new recruits at the obstacle course.
A new sign at the entranceway reads, “Welcome to Holy Islamberg: The International Quranic Open University.” Next to this sign, which features the image of a mosque emerging from the mountains, is a pot of plastic carnations. Another sign proclaims that the community is home to the “United Muslim – Christian Forum.”

Such statements of welcome are offset by the “No Trespassing” signs that have been nailed to trees throughout the compound.

On the opposite side of the road leading into the community is a rack of metal mailboxes bearing such names as Abdul-Haqq, Abdul Jalil, Mumim Roberts, Abdullah Simonds, and Salam Insan.

What has happened to this once bustling complex of radical Islamists - - a place where the cries of muezzins were accompanied by the incessant rat-tat-tat of machine gunfire? Where are the Arab dignitaries that used to visit this remote community in chauffeur-driven limousines? Where are the armed sentries who warded away all intruders?

“The place was scary,” a barfly at Cuzin’s Tavern in Deposit, says. “The last time I went there, I was surrounded by twenty-five Muslims with shotguns and Uzis. I haven’t heard much about it lately.”

Is the place still scary?

SAUDI HATE SCHOOL EXPANSION UPDATE: FIGHT FIGHT FIGHT!

Brian over at Snapped Shot tells me the Fairfax campus sits on "Residential-Conservation" land. He has an extensive post on it here. Go.

Atlas and Jihad Watch have both brought to my attention that the Fairfax County Planning Commission is going to be holding a public hearing this evening on a proposed expansion to the Islamic Saudi Academy campus on Pope's Head Road. According to the Commission's agenda, the public is invited to comment on the proposal, but the decision will be made at a later date. Specifically, ISA is requesting:

SE 2008-SP-025 – ISLAMIC SAUDI ACADEMY – Appl. under Sect. 3-C04 of the Zoning Ordinance to permit building additions and associated modifications to site design and development conditions to an existing private school of general education. Located at 11101, 11115, 11121, 11123 Popes Head Rd. on approx. 34.05 ac. of land zoned R-C and WS. Tax Map 68-3 ((1)) 61, 62, 63, and 64. SPRINGFIELD DISTRICT.

This campus was purchased from Fairfax Christian School back in 1985 for $3 million dollars. The "R-C" designation referenced in the above text means that the land it sits on is "Residential-Conservation"—meaning that it is placed within a protected watershed, and may not exceed a very restrictive permanent occupancy limit.

Why, then, do I have a feeling that these exacting restrictions are suddenly going to be waived to accommodate ISA's demands "requests?"

The reason ISA is seeking to expand their Fairfax campus is that they want move out of their Alexandria building. This, of course, is pretty funny, considering that they are leasing the Alexandria campus from Fairfax County in what can only be described as a sweetheart deal.

Shoot, the original lease on that property was issued in 1988, and was only intended to last for five years.

And yet, here we are 20 years later, and they're still there.

Why the rush to "consolidate" their holdings so suddenly?

Beats me, but I do know that their website has this to say:

Please attend a public hearing to show your support of ISA’s application for a permit to build a new school on the Popeshead Road site. We encourage all parents to attend the hearing. Having more people at the hearing, in support of the project, will increase our chances of succeeding. Our lawyer and six other speakers will present our case to the Board of Supervisors. The meeting will take place at 8:15 p.m., the night of the 18th. There are two other cases scheduled for that night, so please be prepared to stay late.

Remember: This means that the Academy seeks to move all 900 students to this Residential-Conservation property.

Which is supposed to be low-occupancy in order to protect the greater Potomac River watershed.

As any homeowner in this part of town will tell you, the regulations faced on anyone owning this land are abundant and laborious.

In fact, to give you a little bit of reference, here's how Fairfax County treats Christian schools who try to make the same types expansions—From the Washington Post, 9 July 1985, Metro pg. D3 (via LexisNexis):

Robert L. Thoburn, a Christian educator and former Republican state legislator from Fairfax, yesterday lost his bid to build a Christian school for 480 students in a residential neighborhood north of Fairfax City.

Thoburn's application to build the school in a thickly wooded section of Oakton was defeated on a tie vote by the Fairfax County Board of Supervisors. The vote was 4 to 4, with Supervisor Joseph Alexander absent. Alexander said earlier he would have abstained on the vote because he was not present for a public hearing on the school a month ago.

Despite the Thoburns' charge that the decision on the school turned on political issues, Supervisor James M. Scott, a Democrat whose district includes the Oakton area, insisted that the board considered land-use issues paramount.

Scott, citing the county staff's recommendation that the Thoburn application be turned down, voted against the school. He said it did not conform to the county's master plan, which calls for single-family homes on large parcels in the area around Thoburn's land.

Scott said that Thoburn had made concessions to the county in the course of negotiations on the school, including cutting the size of the student body by about 100, but that these changes were "minor in relation to the requirements of the comprehensive plan and the zoning ordinance."

Thoburn founded the Fairfax Christian School in 1961, and until last year it was located on Pope's Head Road south of Fairfax City. Last year, the Saudi Arabian Embassy paid him $3 million for the school's old campus, and Thoburn moved into rented quarters in two Baptist churches on Ox Road south of Fairfax City.

As you can see, even back in the days when this County was more Republican than it is today, the Board was hostile towards Christian schools.

In fact, I would go so far as to say that you can go into any church within Fairfax County and ask how their experience with the various County governmental agencies has been, and hear endless amounts of horror stories.

Mandatory (and expensive) traffic studies for any request to expand expansions. Outright denials of requests to expand parking lots to accomodate large congregations. Frequent and stringent inspections for code violations, which frequently result in citations for extremely minor infractions.

The list goes on.

These are American values. Abdicating our sovereignty to an international Islamic code is suicidal. Who is writing this international law, the OIC?

U.S. drops "enemy combatant" as basis for detention Reuters

WASHINGTON (Reuters) - The Obama administration dropped the term "enemy combatant" and incorporated international law on Friday as its basis for holding terrorism suspects at Guantanamo prison while it works to close the facility.

The U.S. Justice Department said it had filed court papers outlining its break from Bush administration detention standards, and said only those who provided "substantial" support to al Qaeda or the Taliban would be considered detainable.

"As we work toward developing a new policy to govern detainees, it is essential that we operate in a manner that strengthens our national security, is consistent with our values, and is governed by law," U.S. Attorney General Eric Holder said in a statement.

"The change we've made today meets each of those standards and will make our nation stronger."

They think the American people are complete idiot sheeples.

Instead, the Justice Department said, "It draws on the international laws of war to inform the statutory authority conferred by Congress.

"It provides that individuals who supported al Qaeda or the Taliban are detainable only if the support was substantial. And it does not employ the phrase 'enemy combatant.'"

It said it had told the court that the Obama administration was reviewing its entire detention policy -- as part of its plan to close the prison at the U.S. naval base on Guantanamo Bay, Cuba -- and further refinements of the policies were possible.

How many of the released Gitmo detainees rejoined the Islamic armies of al qaeda and taleban? We are so screwed.

Americans are being besieged with Islamic propaganda on bus ads and billboards in their relentless  multi-pronged strategy to impose their Islam on us.

Atlas reader Henry noticed a few weeks back that these billboards (above) were going up around Houston highways, and he was intrigued, so he visited the website. It is clearly an anti-Israel pro-palestinian site in terms of content. So he emailed them asking how he could be sure the money wouldn't go to terrorism. Here's the answer he received.

Arab Arrested For Jihad Threats In Boro Park Synagogue

An Arab male is currently being interrogated by the NYPD after screaming “Jihad threats” in a Boro Park Shul.

Highly credible sources tell YWN that sometime early Monday afternoon, a 36-year-old male entered the ‘Sephardish Shul’ located on 14th Avenue and 45th Street and began reading a paper with various “Jihad-type threats”

An Arab male is currently being interrogated by the NYPD after screaming “Jihad threats” in a Boro Park Shul.

Highly credible sources tell YWN that sometime early Monday afternoon, a 36-year-old male entered the ‘Sephardish Shul’ located on 14th Avenue and 45th Street and began reading a paper with various “Jihad-type threats”.

Thanks to the quick response of Boro Park Shomrim, the suspect was quickly apprehended, and was placed under arrest by officers of the NYPD’s 66th Precinct.

Detectives from the NYPD INTEL Division are currently speaking with the ‘Middle-Eastern man’ at the 66 Station-House.

Deputy Inspector Peter DiBlasio along with Brooklyn South Chief Joseph Fox reminds the community “if you see something, say something”.

I have strongly suggested to many different  so-called action groups, that we immediately institute a program of visits to every synagogue in the USA, on Friday evenings and Saturday mornings, and rise in each congregation and - in dignified firm and unemotional voices - repeat “STOP THE KILLING”– We need to go in groups of 3-4, to insure that we have 1 person as a defensive shield, and one as a video camera witness, recording everything.

Jews especially should be doing these actions. We will face harsh treatment, and possibly physical attack, but our message must be resolute and continue week after week.

I see no possible legal impediment to this. The public, and certainly Jews- cannot be barred from entry to the services, and it will be extremely hard for the Synagogues to enforce exclusion. If they do, we can speak on the front steps, on the street, in the parking lot.

The Jews of America must be confronted with their clear responsibility- far more than complicity-in the mass murders, occupation, and forced starvation of the people of Palestine.

Tonight at the U of T [Israeli Apartheid Week] event, two Jewish students were assaulted by the Palestinian “Security” team for being “disruptive” (asking a legitimate question “does Israel have a right to exist”) The Palestinian “security” smacked a student in the head and grabbed him by his neck, while another “security” officer told a second Jewish student to “Shut the F**ck up or he’ll saw his head off”…All of this was done in a crowded lecture room with over 100 witnesses!!

I was there, there are no pictures, filming and taking pictures was prohibited (they seem to have a problem with the general public hearing what they say) it was reported to the police who chose (as usual) to do NOTHING…

INFILTRATION: CAIR ELECTS STATE SENATOR SHAW AS BOARD CHAIRMAN

It's upon us. Big time. CAIR has elected State Senator Larry Shaw as board chair to "partner" with the Hussein administration. Shaw is the same future jihadi who traveled with CAIR officials to Saudi Arabia last June. From ZTruth:

Nihad Awad, the executive director and co-founder of the Council of American Islamic Relations, an organization linked to the Muslim Brotherhood and Hamas by the federal government,  traveled to Saudi Arabia to attend a meeting organized by King Abdullah on the need for interfaith dialog. At the conference King Abdullah declared Islam is the greatest religion and blasted those who are concerned about Islamic violence:

"How great the status of the Islamic Ummah is but how difficult time it is when the enemies of Islam are attaching extremism, militancy and terrorism with the Muslim!"

Note the King's comments are similar to the words Muslim leaders in the U.S. use - don't link Islam with violence.  There have been nearly 12,000 violent Islamic attacks since 9/11 and the international nature of these attacks are unprecedented in history.   So why aren't they wailing that the enemies of Islam are those who carry out these attacks?  Instead they call those who've paid attention Islam's enemy.  Oh, the trickery of Islamists.

Other American Muslim leaders participating in the conference, included CAIR National Board Member Larry Shaw, a state senator (D) from North Carolina, according to CAIR. 

Yusef Qaradawi, the spiritual leader of the Muslim Brotherhood also attended the conference which included only Muslims.  Qaradawi, banned from the U.S. in 1999 for his support of terrorism, who now reaches his flocthrough his website called Islamonline.  Islamonline often highlights CAIR's Islamic advances in the U.S. 

Shaw's hatefest included Yusef Qaradawi, who makes sermons celebrating the holocaust and praying for the killing of all Jews. And Qaradawi has been banned in the US.

(WASHINGTON, D.C., 3/3/09) - The Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR), the nation's leading Muslim civil rights and advocacy group, announced today that it has elected North Carolina State Senator Larry Shaw as its new board chairman.

CAIR’s new chairman said he looks forward to “partnering” with the Obama administration to protect civil liberties and to help improve America’s international image.

Shaw is a long-standing member of the North Carolina Senate General Assembly and a former member of the North Carolina House of Representatives General Assembly. He also serves as the chairman of the Transportation Committee and vice-chairman of the Finance Committee. Shaw was the country’s highest-ranking Muslim elected official before the election of Rep. Keith Ellison (D-MN) in 2006. Prior to becoming a public official, Shaw gained extensive business experience in the food service industry. He has served on CAIR’s national board for three years.

In September of 2003, the six-term legislator was elected as vice-chairman of the North Carolina Legislative Black Caucus of the state’s general assembly.

"This is a critical time in our nation’s history, a time that requires change and renewal," said CAIR Executive Director Nihad Awad. “I welcome Senator Shaw as CAIR’s new chairman and believe he will be a key player in broadening the dialogue on issues of importance to our nation, from civil rights to political participation and interfaith relations.”

Two days after his inauguration, President Obama signed an executive order to close Guantanamo Bay within the year. He just had one small little detail to work out – how to find the world’s most dangerous terrorists a new home.

Unfortunately, that new home might end up being our backyard.

Most other countries have no interest in housing a bunch of crazed Islamic killers (there’s a shock), and recent Supreme Court decisions, along with pressure from left wing groups, make it very possible that detainees’ cases could be adjudicated in the United States.

That is why I introduced a bill which can be summarized in one word – NO.

We will not allow, under any circumstances, the Gitmo detainees to set foot on American soil.

Our brave soldiers have valiantly sacrificed to keep these radicals away from their loved ones and ours – now we may bring them here ourselves? I don’t think so.

Gitmo currently houses nearly 250 enemy combatants from the Taliban, Al Qaeda and other terror groups – including Abd al-Rahim al-Nashiri, implicated in the U.S.S. Cole Bombing, and Khalid Sheikh Mohammed, a mastermind of the 9/11 attacks . They are the worst of the worst. Even many of the ones deemed safe for release have returned to the battlefield – 61 in all, according to Pentagon estimates.

Consider one illuminating example:

Abdullah Massoud was a Taliban terrorist captured shortly after 9/11 and transferred to Gitmo. One thing that made Massoud unique was that he had only one leg. And consistent with the world-class medical care provided to detainees at Gitmo, he was outfitted with a state-of-the-art prosthetic.

In addition to world-class medical care, Massoud also received top-flight legal treatment as well. According to the Heritage Foundation, Gitmo detainees “have received more procedural protections ensuring the fairness of their detention than any foreign enemy combatant in any armed conflict in the history of warfare.”

Indeed, America has arguably treated the Gitmo detainees with more respect than the fringe left ever gave President Bush.

Thus it is not a surprise that a short time after being outfitted with a new leg, Massoud was released. And how did he repay America for his freedom and newfound mobility? By waging more Jihad, of course.

The point is this: There’s no rehabilitation program for terrorists. Should even one Gitmo combatant someday become a free man on American soil the costs could be catastrophic. We have to shut the door now.

And even if Gitmo detainees brought to the US are convicted – by military or judicial proceeding – their very presence here is a magnet for terrorist activity.

Not to mention the enormous strain on the legal system. The trial of the 20th hijacker, Zacharias Moussaoui, took nearly 5 years. And it’s possible critical evidence obtained at Gitmo would not be admitted into a court of law.

There’s also no guarantee that Gitmo detainees, if convicted, would spend their lives in prison. Just days ago an Islamic terrorist who planned an ambitious bomb plot in New York City, Khalid Al-Jawary, is being released after serving only half of a thirty year sentence.

How many more terrorists do we want to set free in America?

The best and surest way to keep our families safe – and to keep Gitmo detainees from completing their unfinished mission of shedding American blood – is to keep them off of our soil. Period.

So call your representative today and tell them to sign onto my bill and to help keep Gitmo killers out of America.

Professor, Wife Accused of Defrauding NASA of Hundreds of Thousands of Taxpayer Dollars hat tip wolf

 The FBI and NASA are investigating a University of Florida professor and his wife for allegedly defrauding NASA out of hundreds of thousands of taxpayer dollars for their own personal use.

Iranian-born Samim Anghaie, 59, is the Director of the Innovative Nuclear Space Power and Propulsion Institute at the University of Florida. His wife, 55-year-old Sousan Anghaie, is president of New Era Technology Inc. (NETECH) in Gainesville, Fla.

Authorities say Sousan Anghaie persuaded NASA to award her company "several fully funded contracts," including nearly $600,000 to develop and study a uranium-related technology.

But, according to an affidavit unsealed today in federal court, the couple allegedly used most of that money to buy personal luxuries — including their $480,000 home in Gainesville, a 2007 BMW and a 2005 Toyota Sienna sports van.

They also used that money to buy a property for their son in Tampa, Fla., a property for their other son in Manchester, Conn., a 2008 Toyota Corolla for Sousan Anghaie's sister, and a 2007 Toyota Corolla for another family member.

Earlier today federal agents raided the Innovative Nuclear Space Power and Propulsion Institute, according to a law enforcement official.
