Filip Dewinter At Oriana Fallaci Memorial: Islam a Stagnant Pool

BTW, I saw Fallaci in  what I think was her last public appearance back in November 2005, if you missed that post - go here. Here's an excerpt of what I saw,

Islam has no sense of justice. The crime? The crime of opinion. A crime now disguised as re-education of Islam. Religious racism xenophobia.

Like love, hate belongs to  human nature. Should there be a penal code for the persecution for "hate"? Can we judge? Yes! It can be judged but only on a moral basis. For instance the moral basis of religion, the Christian religion, is based on love, not on a political basis or a criminal basis..........."It grants me the right to love who I want but also the right to hate who I want."

On August 27, 2005, Fallaci had a private audience with Pope Benedict XVI at Castel Gandolfo with whom she found a kindred spirit and whom she believes understands the mortal threat faced by Christianity by the evil of Islamofascism. The Pope loves her work. "I feel less alone when I read the books of Ratzinger." I had asked Ms. Fallaci whether there was any contemporary leader she admired, and Pope Benedict XVI was evidently a man in whom she reposed some trust. "I am an atheist, and if an atheist and a pope think the same things, there must be something true. It's that simple! There must be some human truth here that is beyond religion." More here

Fallaci claims to be neither left nor right. She despises the left for the obvious reasons and holds the right in contempt for being weak. For not taking a hard stand and making the tough choices.

"Don't believe in a dialog with Islam. That's a naivete. It can only be a monologue. They do not believe in pluralism. There is no such thing as a "moderate Islam" and a Radical Islam. There is only one Islam."
I too believe this as much as it pains me to say it. I would like nothing better to believe that there is a side we can do business with, talk to. But that is self deluding.

Fallaci:"The real enemy is Islam and the most catastrophic threat is immigration not terror. It is immigration. And they do not integrate in Europe. Maybe in the USA but not in Europe. Those riots in France are a result of that very thing". The Chinese, Vietnamese etc immigrants are not rioting and tearing down the very fabric of society.

They [The Islamists] are very patient. And Clever.

This war needs boldness.

And while it was painfully clear she was preaching to the converted, it was also painful that the choir was so small.

Flemish politician, and a leader in the Vlaams Belang party of Belgium, Filip Dewinter, delivered a sterling speech at a memorial for the late Orianna Fallaci, in Firenze last weekend.

Oriana Fallaci was an Italian journalist who passed away two years ago, who became famous for her interviews with a host of international celebrities, such as Henry Kissinger, the Shah of Iran and the Ayatollah Khomeini, etc.. She is also famous for her criticisms of the Pope and the Catholic Church, but also for her views on Islam, and on the present day politics of Europe that she saw as promoting its own colonization and Islamization by Muslim immigrants.

Filip Dewinter has drawn fire from every quarter for his views on Islam and an unfettered open ended immigration policy by the political mandarins in the higher echelons of power in both (the artificial construct) Belgium and on the EU level. Fallaci's insight on what is at stake for the Europe's future, is as relevant today as when she wrote and spoke about it herself. Don't let the multiculturalists fool you, it has never been about race or ethnicity, but about the threat of Islam's monoculture which Dewinter correctly describes as a "stagnant pool".

Highly ironic don't you think, that European multiculturalists are championing diversity with a policy that focuses on its own colonization by a people who cling to a monoculture ideology.(Read= no tolerance for others). KGS

The number of migrants granted UK citizenship reached an all-time record last year as separate figures revealed more than 200,000 Britons moving abroad. A raft of statistics released by Whitehall revealed 164,635 foreign nationals were granted UK passports in 2007 - the equivalent of one every three minutes.

The figure is up seven per cent on the previous year and takes the total since Labour came to power to almost 1.2m.

Among 400,000 emigrants in 2006, the Office for National Statistics said 207,000 were British citizens.

Nearly one in three went to live in Australia or New Zealand. A quarter went to Spain or France, and around one in 12 went to the United States.

The rising rate of emigration meant that nearly 1.6 million Britons left the country to live abroad between 1997 and 2006.

A GIRL of 15 was tricked into a "telephone marriage" ceremony to a Sheffield man with a mental age of five in a ceremony recognised by sharia (Islamic law).

When the girl arrived from Pakistan expecting to meet the handsome man she had been shown in a photograph, she found that he was 40 years old, unemployed and disabled.

To make matters worse, her mother-in-law decided to exploit her attractive looks by forcing her into prostitution.

The family invited men to the family home to rape her before she managed to escape to the police by bolting through the front door. She was taken into care and now lives in a refuge.

The case is highlighted in a report by the Centre for Social Cohesion, which has found that policemen, councillors and taxi drivers are turning a blind eye or even conniving in enforcing the Asian community's strict "moral code" on young women.

The girl's marriage last April was not recognised by the Home Office but was approved by the Islamic Sharia Council in Britain. She is typical of the runaway brides at risk of an "honour killing". According to official figures, 10 to 12 women are murdered in Britain in honour killings each year, but the government has been warned by MPs that this is a serious underestimate. Police often record the deaths as cases of domestic violence, while other girls are driven to suicide or taken away to their family's country of origin and never seen again. Many Asian [code for Muslim - Atlas] parents would rather resort to violence against their children than see their reputation tarnished by the perceived dishonour of allowing them to become "westernised".

The report, Crimes of the Community, claims the problem is no longer an issue of first-generation migrants importing attitudes from "back home" but is "indigenous and self-perpetuating" because it is sustained by third and fourth-generation immigrants.

"To everyone else it looked natural — he was just standing there stroking my shoulder — but just before he had told me that he would shoot me if I didn't go through with it."

BRITAIN is facing a mass exodus of people looking to escape the crime and grime of modern living.

Looking to escape what?

The country's biggest foreign visa consultancy firm has revealed that applications have soared in the last seven months by 80 per cent to almost 4,000 a week. Ten years ago the figure was just 300 a week.

Most people are relocating within the Commonwealth – in Australia, Canada and South Africa. They are almost all young professionals and skilled workers aged 20-40.

And many cite their reason for wanting to quit as immigration to these shores – and the burden it is placing on their communities and local authorities. The dearth of good schools, spiralling house prices, rising crime and tax increases are also driving people away.

I know there is a lot of problems with the Muslims. I don't like the situation any more than you do. Have you asked yourself who even let these people in? I'm sure if you dug deep enough you would find that the same people who are letting Muslims into the West are the same ones who conducted the terrorist attack of 911. I find it surprising that people are unable to put two and two together.

It was not Islamic terrorists who conducted the 911 act.

There is SO much evidence to support the FACT that this was a Zionist operation, that in any JUST court of law, people like Silverstein, Zekheim, Bush (a rabid Zionist) and others of their ilk would have been sentenced to death.

It is probably too much to expect you to open your eyes to the ugly truth of it, but my hope is that others will.

The Muslims are not coming here illegally. They are being let in.

at my little sister's school (she's 5) they were not allowed to send  or make Christmas cards, however she did make an Eid card. She made  it for me it said "Eid Mubarak"....

I am not making that up.

Director Liam Clifford says: "Since January 2007, we have recorded an 80% rise in British nationals applying to move overseas. As this rise continues, so does the number of enquiries we receive from people asking for help in migrating to a new country. In recent months, we have received as many as 4,000 requests in a single week from people who have had enough of Britain and want to get out."

He adds: "Ironically, the main reason for these people leaving the UK is the over-stretching of services caused by inbound immigration to the UK. We are aware of the issue of so-called ‘white flight’ from certain inner city areas to the suburbs but now people are increasingly seeking a better standard of living offered by other countries.

"This phenomenon adds to the existing shortage of skilled workers already faced by the UK as they leave only to be replaced by low skilled EU A8 workers or low skilled refugees."

Thousands of Brits Flee Country

They can't get out of Londonistan fast enough. They gave that country away. Pity.

Around 500 Britons a day are leaving the country, with Australia, Spain and France the most popular destinations, although far more new immigrants are arriving, official figures showed Friday.

The most recent statistics show that 380,000 people emigrated from Britain for a year or more, of whom over half were British citizens.

Beirut (AsiaNews) – Multiculturalist ideology, i.e. the blind tolerance of any culture or tradition, is destroying Europe and standing in the way of any positive development of Islam.  Such ideology has been condemned by Ayaan Hirsi Ali, the Somali intellectual and parliamentarian who, having received death threats from Muslims for her defence of women’s rights and tired of European multiculturalism, left Holland to go work in the United States at the American Enterprise Institute. She accused Holland of excessive acquiescence, of encouraging the immobility of Muslim communities and even of letting itself be conquered by Islam and Islamic law.

In making room for Sharia, there is the risk of conflict with European constitutions.  An interesting thing is taking place in Denmark, a country which is at the forefront of multi-culturality. The SIAD Party has recently been founded and it proposes the following: anyone who cites Koranic verses contrary to the Danish constitution must be punished because the constitution is superior to all other laws.
