Media Hypocrisy and Willful Stupidity

The only thing that could replace the media's obsession with the murder of a late term abortion doc is a .........right wing Nazi (National Socialists are lefties, but why split hairs?). I was floored last night while watching an exchange between Ellis Henican (Newsday) and Bill O'Reilly discussing that lack of coverage for the jihadi who murdered a US soldier, wounded another and planned attacks of churches, Jewish centers and other targets.

Henican dismissed the Islamic attack on the Arkansas military station and murder of a US soldier as a random act of violence. Henican remonstrated with O'Reilly, asking, "What about the 9,000 other murders in the country? Why not discuss them as well?" [paraphrasing]. So the left narrative is that there is no war on the West, there is no jihad. Surrender. But the abortion doc, according to Henican, is enormously important, because there is a moral value. Henican's moral value? Not that the murdered doctor performed over 60,000 late term abortions of viable babies, but that he was murdered -- which is undeniably terrible and wrong. The criminal who shot Dr. Tiller had a prior record (as did the shooter of the Holocaust Museum security guard). Why did these nuts have guns? I do not believe in gun control, but I do believe that criminals should lose the privilege of gun ownership. That's the law, is it not? Why aren't we pursuing the failure of law enforcement on this issue? Why isn't the media even talking about that?

If anyone grabs the video clip of O'Reilly/Henican, please send it on.

But back to the media's Nazi party. This random killer, 89 year old Nazi Von Brunn, is vile, and I hope his gunshot wound kills him. But he does not represent a threat to the West, to our society -- he is a whackjob. The Nazis lost the war in World War II. This disconnect the left wing media is suffering is lethal for Americans, and particularly dangerous for non-believers (Christians, Jews, Hindus, Sikhs etc.).
The murder of Private Long is the news story that should be given 24/7 coverage. Abdulhakim  Muhammad, a soldier in the war for Allah, said he was justified. He said, "It wasn't murder, it was war". The same war that killed almost 3,000 Americans on 911. The same war that has committed 13,358 Islamic attacks since 911. The same enemy that vows to annihilate the Jews and destroy Israel. The same enemy that is taking over Europe. The enemy makes no secret of their hate, their intent, their ultimate objective.

Did the media give this woman any coverage? What if she was screaming in defense of Nazi Von Brunn's ideology?

I don't know how I can continue as I am, to be surprised/shocked/appalled by the shameless hypocrisy. I'm listening to the circus at the Holocaust Museum. It's been going all morning and will continue for the rest of the day. Does my memory fail me, or have there been a number of extremely violent acts against Jews -- Seattle? etc. -- where the killer was a Muslim, and there was no such big show.

Maybe it's me -- but I see this phony fiesta as nothing to do with horror at this ugly murder and anti-semitism -- no one there gives a damn about that -- it ONLY has to do with the fact that it was a "Right wing Nazi."

The FBI said the killers face was in all newspapers and on TV and asked the public to call in if anyone has any information on him or any possible accomplices. Did they do the same when the killer was (how many times?) a violent Muslim?

Did I hear the FBI guy say that the FBI doesn't approve of violent hate crimes??? Huh? Did someone think they might?

So now they have more reasons to go after Jews -- (and tea partiers, and our military) -- in the name of Nazis.

Oh, Mr. Nazi Killer has served the Obama camp and the Islamist DHS very well.

Our new president did not tell a virulent anti-Semite to travel to the U.S. Holocaust Memorial Museum in Washington to kill Jews, but he is most certainly creating a climate of hate against us.

It is no coincidence that we are witnessing this level of hatred toward Jews as President Barack Obama positions America against the Jewish state.

Just days ago Obama traveled to Cairo, Egypt. It was his second trip in a short time to visit Muslim countries. He sent a clear message by not visiting Israel.

But this was code.

In Cairo, Obama said things that pose a grave danger to Jews in Israel, in America and everywhere.

And if his views are not vigorously opposed they will help create a danger as great as that posed by the Nazis to the Jewish people.

Just last week, Obama told his worldwide audience — more than 100 million people — that the killing of six million Jews during the Holocaust was the equivalent of Israel’s actions in dealing with the Palestinians.

This remark is incredible on its face, an insult to the six million Jews who died as a result of Hitler’s genocide — and it is a form of revisionism that will bode evil for Jews for years to come.

While Obama acknowledged that “six million Jews were killed — more than the entire Jewish population of Israel today” — his discussion about the Holocaust was followed by this statement: “On the other hand, it is also undeniable that the Palestinian people — Muslims and Christians — have suffered in pursuit of a homeland.”

“On the other hand . . . ”?

Obama’s clever construct comparing the mass genocide of six million Jews to the Palestinian struggle will not be lost on the estimated 100 million Muslims who tuned into to hear him.

Perhaps it was not lost on James W. von Brinn, the 88-year-old white supremacist identified as the alleged attacker Wednesday at the Holocaust Museum. He apparently felt that he could easily take retribution against the Jews for the atrocities Obama implies they are guilty of.

SUSPECT IN HOLOCAUST MUSEUM SHOOTING WAS ARRESTED WITH GUN. He was wounded by return fire.

Indications show no fatalities. FBI terrorism task force is now on scene. The Obama presidency -- one nightmare after another.

Two rushed to hospital. One in critical condition. The museum was packed when a man walked in, pulled out a rifle and started shooting -- the security guard was shot and another unidentified man was shot.

Witness, young 21 year old woman, said everyone hit the ground. The little girls started crying.

Young man says they heard five shots fired.

 

Apparently at 12:50 PM, the man with the long gun walked into the Holocaust museum and opened fire on the security guard. FOX news reports:

At least two people were shot after a man opened fire inside the national Holocaust Memorial Museum in Washington, D.C., Wednesday, officials said. 

The suspect has been arrested, according to a law enforcement source. 

Reports said the suspect first shot a security guard, and that another guard returned fire, wounding the alleged shooter. 

There are conflicting reports about how many people were wounded. Another law enforcement official said three people were shot, but that there are no fatalities.

There is chatter about a "suspicious package". FOX news is talking to a couple who saw the shooter on the ground, but no one dares ask what the shooter looked like.

Fresh on the heels of Obama's pastor Reverend Jeremiah Wright's Jew hating comments.

Expect the lefturds to make a case for gun control -- when just the opposite is true. We must be armed as the war takes to our streets.

A postage stamp, a fingerprint and a Google search helped lead authorities to arrest a West Rogers Park man Friday on a charge he mailed a bomb threat to a Jewish school in late December.

Forensic investigators matched a fingerprint from the letter's envelope to Mohammed Alkaramla, authorities said.

During a search of Alkaramla's apartment last month, agents also found a book of postage stamps—bearing a design of two swans forming a heart shape, the same design as the stamp on the bomb threat letter. That particular stamp hadn't been produced in more than a decade, and the book found in a dresser drawer was missing one stamp, charges say.

Agents also seized a laptop computer from Alkaramla, and subsequent analysis of the computer's hard drive found the text of the threat letter and Google search terms such as "Bomb attack + Israel + letters," authorities said.

It also showed that Alkaramla had tried to find a sample of a threat letter online.

Alkaramla, 24, was taken into custody at his home in the 6000 block of North Artesian Avenue by the FBI's Joint Terrorism Task Force. A federal judge ordered the Jordanian national held in custody at least until a detention hearing on Tuesday.

Alkaramla was under investigation in the vandalism of several Chicago-area synagogues and Jewish schools in early January after Israeli airstrikes and troop incursions into the Gaza Strip in the Mideast. But Friday's criminal complaint said only that Alkaramla had mailed a bomb threat to Ida Crown Jewish Academy in Chicago in late December.

The letter threatened to set bombs at 22 Jewish educational centers in the Chicago area, but no explosives were found.

Thanks to the quick response of Boro Park Shomrim, the suspect was quickly apprehended, and was placed under arrest by officers of the NYPD’s 66th Precinct.

I have strongly suggested to many different  so-called action groups, that we immediately institute a program of visits to every synagogue in the USA, on Friday evenings and Saturday mornings, and rise in each congregation and - in dignified firm and unemotional voices - repeat “STOP THE KILLING”– We need to go in groups of 3-4, to insure that we have 1 person as a defensive shield, and one as a video camera witness, recording everything.

Malibu Jewish Center and Synagogue vandalized hat tip Wolf

A vandal or vandals used shaving cream to paint swastikas on the Malibu Jewish Center and Synagogue and shattered a window, according to authorities.

The damage was discovered by a center employee this morning. Los Angeles County Sheriff¢s Lt. Andrew Rosso said the vandalism was reported just after 10 a.m. and that no suspects had been identified as of this evening.

The agency's hate crimes unit is investigating the incident, he said. The Jewish Center is located in the 24800 block of Pacific Coast Highway.

We arrived on Friday morning, 1/16 to discover that MJC&S had been visited by vandals overnight. Swastikas, sexual symbols and other graffiti were sprayed with shaving cream over the walls & windows of our offices and schools. The door to our chapel was in shards with glass shattered everywhere. It was not a pretty sight.

The good news is that nothing was destroyed other than the door and our new sanctuary was untouched. No Torah scrolls were defaced and no books or computers were damaged.

However, the psychic damage is inescapable. As Jews, we are immediately transported back to Kristallnacht and other incidents of vandalism and destruction aimed at Jewish institutions.

Unfortunately, these memories have become a part of our "historic NA" and we now know how important it is to respond to any incident, grave or small, that targets the identity of the Jewish people.

If you are in 'journalism' or any responsible position of news dissemination, you cannot look at the depraved Jew hating insanity sweeping the globe and not say to yourself, "I must be responsible in what I print, I must be accurate in my reportage. There is a mental illness, a moral depravity spreading like a cancer through besieged societies. I have seen this before. I know where this leads. I must be responsible". But we are witnessing the opposite taking place. The media can't throw enough kerosene on the the growing fire.

Check on the latest blood libel being peddled by Hamas's public relations organization - the UN. First this from Atlas reader Chuck:

I was listening to a ton of talk radio yesterday during a 13 hour drive.  The top-of-the-hour news (PBS I think) at about 7pm had an Irish-sounding spokesman for the UN, located somewhere in Gaza. The "reporter" asked him if he knew for sure that it was an Israeli soldier that fired on a UN worker.  He said that yes, he knew that absolutely - it was a fact.

The reporter then asked him how he knew this.  His reply was that that was because he was told by "eyewitnesses", and that nobody from Israel was talking to them about.  Reporter asked, "you mean that nobody from Israel has neither confirmed nor denied their involvement?"  The Irishman hesitates, and then says, yes, that's true, and that that was how he knew that they were guilty.  And then the reporter quickly ended the "interview" with a, "and this is bla bla bla reporting live..."

So ALL DAY yesterday the only thing that the top-of-the-hours (CBS, FOX, etc.) were reporting on news radio stations in four states (OH, IN, KY, TN) was that Israel had attacked and killed a UN worker. 

Where's the damned apology, Pamela?  These are the same jackasses that tell our skulls full of mush that the West is bad, that we need to try to understand Islam, that it's possible for a peaceful solution if only big bad Israel will just stop.

New Blood Libels in the Making.......

The UN and other international organizations working in the Gaza area are clearly in the bag for the Hamas, so it stands to reason that they will be only too willing to shove a few shivs into the back of Israel whenever given the chance.

We have been hearing quite a lot lately about UN vehicles and trucks delivering aid supposedly coming under fire from Israeli ground forces, but when pressed a bit further, the "neutral parties to the conflict" are forced to admit that they can't say with certainty that Israel is to blame.

 

All this leads me to ask the question, "if these neutral parties observing the conflict from the side are truly neutral, why then are 100% percent of their claims being leveled at one side only, Israel? All of the reports are being filed by Palestinians, most likely Hamas supporters or affiliates that have every reason to embellish, stretch the truth or outright lie to the Western media and international organizations, in an attempt to cast Israel as the chief evil doer.

 

Even Norwegian doctors are in on the fix as well, with Mads Gilbert and Erik Fosse shilling for Hamas every chance they can get. The media is willingly allowing itself to be set up, and to hell with the truth, and in the event they are caught with their pants hanging around their ankles, well, just shove the faulty report down the memory hole and act as if nothing happened at all.

Uncertainty shrouds UN driver's death

J'Lem Post: Who killed the Palestinian driver of an aid truck and wounded two others as their convoy made its way into the Gaza Strip through the Erez crossing during Thursday's "humanitarian cease-fire?"

According to the foreign media, who based their information on UN sources, IDF tank shells blasted the truck. According to the Magen David Adom medic who claimed to have taken the Palestinians to an Israeli hospital, the truck actually came under Hamas sniper fire.

The medic, who asked not to be named, said he got his information from soldiers in the field, but by press time - some eight hours after the incident - the IDF Spokesman's Office was still unable to provide a response or to establish contact with the relevant sources in the field.

Adding to the confusion, the Palestinian Red Crescent Society said it had evacuated the victims, but the MDA medic said soldiers told him they had gone in, at great personal risk, to evacuate the wounded Palestinians. What is certain is that there is one dead Palestinian, and two others being treated at Ashkelon's Barzilai Medical Center for gunshot wounds.

The incident occurred Thursday afternoon at the Erez crossing into northern Gaza, the main entrance used by aid agencies to funnel badly needed food and medical supplies into the Strip.

John Ging, the director of operations in Gaza for UNRWA, said via video link that "the verbal assurances have run out in terms of credibility."

"We cannot rely on firm commitments given from the Israeli side," Ging told reporters. "To have Israeli forces on the ground firing at and now hitting convoys that have been specifically cleared - this is real-time clearance?"

Ging acknowledged, however, that he could not be absolutely certain that the attacks came from IDF forces, telling a reporter who asked whether other combatants may have been responsible, "There is a conflict going on.

For at least seven hours, the international media were quoting a version of events that claimed the Palestinian truck driver was killed by an Israeli shell.

According to MDA, the driver and two others, Palestinian civilians contracted by the UN, suffered gunshot wounds to the chest and upper body. In response to a Post query, a spokeswoman from Barzilai confirmed that the two surviving Palestinians were being treated for gunshot wounds.

UN: IDF shelled evacuated civilians

Office for Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs says Israeli forces evacuated about 110 Palestinians into Gaza house which they then repeatedly shelled 24 hours later, killing about 30 people. IDF: UN claims unreasonable

Military officials said in reponse to the accusation that "from initial examinations in the IDF there is no knowledge of any incident in which IDF forces moved people from one building to another.

"Furthermore, the claim that the building was attacked on January 4, in 24-hours after the IDF entered the Gaza Strip is unreasonable since the IDF forces had not yet reached the areas in question on this date.

"An Israeli television network examination of the matter with hospitals in the area showed the hospitals had no knowledge of such an incident."

The fix is in, and it's something that more and more people are becoming aware of, hence the lack of outrage coming from across the board. It's for the most part coming from all of the predictable places, the Lefty blogs, the gullible and/or the willingly led by the nose media and Palestinian propaganda outlets.

More on the arrest made on the attack on a Rabbi yesterday in Brooklyn.

Mr. Ali Hussein was arrest and charged with "Aggravated Harassment in the 2nd Degree as a Hate Crime" at the scene and transported to the Hospital where it was determined that he has a fractured leg.  He is still in the Hospital "Methodist" probably will be receiving a bedside arraignment. The 2nd person a Mr. Villarini has been identified as one of the people involved and has an outstanding warrant for 'Criminal Possession of marijuana" he is "known" to the department.  However, he has not been arrested as of yet.

The 3rd person has not been identified as of yet.

A 25-year-old Israeli rabbi from Kfar Chabad, was attacked by a group of Arab men in Brooklyn, New York City, Tuesday evening. An 18-year-old Arab man grabbed the yarmulka (kippa) off Rabbi Oriah Ohana’s head at the 4th Avenue and 9th Street train station in the Park Slope section of Brooklyn, while his friends kicked and punched the victim and screamed "Allahu Akbar" (Arabic: Allah is Great). Rabbi Ohana chased the man who grabbed the yarmulka. The attacker ran out of the subway station and was hit by a passing car. The attacker’s friends then beat the rabbi, claiming he was the cause of their friend’s misfortune. They escaped before police arrived – abandoning their friend, whose broken legs precluded his escape. Police of the NYPD’s 78th Precinct are investigating the attack. According to Vos is Neias – a NY-area based Jewish news site - Police arrested the man hit by the car and requested an ambulance, but are “trying to brush off the crime as just teenagers who don't know what 'Allahu Akbar' means.” That Arabic declaration, meaning “Allah is great,” is often chanted by Muslims before or during terrorist attacks. It is also declared five times daily from muezzin as a call to prayer. Park Slope is considered a safe and well-to-do neighborhood. It has become home to many Jews.

Target the believers .......The other day, I wrote this after a Jewish emissary in Rhode Island had a molotov cocktail thrown into his home: If the Jews in America think they can divorce themselves from the merciless punishment of the second holocaust by turning their backs on Israel, they have a serious ass kicking coming. It's about annihilating the Jews, Israel being the most convenient batting boy at the moment. Kill a Jew, go to heaven.

Yesterday, at 6:00 p.m. Eastern Time, four to five Muslims viciously attacked Rabbi Uria Ohana in Brooklyn, New York, while shouting, "Allahu Akbar."

Rabbi Ohana, assistant head rabbi of Chabad-Lubavitch of Massachusetts, was about to get on the F-Train at Fourth Avenue and Ninth Street in Brooklyn.

The young Muslim assailants grabbed rabbi Ohana's yarmulke (skullcap), and when he went to them to get it back, they beat him and shouted, "Allahu Akbar." One of the Muslim attackers ran away into the street and was hit by a car (G-d works in mysterious ways). He was arrested by police. But three to four other Muslim assailants--whom you can bet will attack other Jews--escaped and are free.

And the world, so afraid of Islam, will no nothing.

After the Rabbi's Yarmulke was pulled off the perpertrator tried to escape the scene of the crime and was hit by a car.
