Today the Islamized State Department will be meeting with the Islamic supremacist Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) to discuss strategies and develop action plans in which to impose the restriction of free speech (or blasphemy, as truthful speech about Islam is considered in Islamic law) under the Sharia here in America.
Miler signed up for a journalism class, “Covering Islam in America," and was shocked, (shocked, I tell ya) to find the whitewashing of jihad. Miller calls out Poynter Institute and the professors teaching the course. And while Miller believes that "there are excellent individuals in CAIR" (who?) at least she is covering this critical issue and calling out the propagandists.
The respected Florida-based Poynter Institute, whose mission is to improve journalism in support of democracy, is trying to help journalists cover Islam more effectively by offering a new on-line course free of charge. So I registered.
And I learned, among other fairly uncontroversial facts about what has been among the world’s fastest growing religions, that while approximately 3,000 people were killed on 9/11, approximately 15,000 people in the U.S. are murdered each year.
I also learned that in most years, “jihad organizations” have accounted for “well under 1 percent” of the half million people who are murdered annually. At its “peak” – of what, Poynter.news University doesn’t tell us– the jihad groups have accounted for under 2 percent of the toll.
Poynter’s professors – Lawrence Pintak and Stephen Franklin, both former foreign correspondents – also tell me that 500,000 individuals die each year from “nutritional deficiencies,” (I suppose in layman’s English, they mean hunger and related causes) “more than 800,000 from malaria, and two million from HIV/AIDS.”
So “jihad is not a leading cause of death in the world,” the course states, “even in the three countries that account for the bulk of the casualties: Afghanistan, Iraq, and Pakistan.”
The professors offer these helpful comparative death tolls to give the 9/11 death toll “some context,” they say. But the implicit message of the course seems obvious enough: 3,000 dead Americans, (and they might have looked up the actual death toll) have been over-covered. Why don’t journalists spend more time covering malaria, or hunger, or especially HIV/AIDS, which the last time I checked, was hardly being ignored by the nation’s media?
For that matter, why aren’t the media investigating bathtub deaths, since according to “Overblown,” John Mueller’s attack on what he regards as the government’s obsessive focus on terrorism, more Americans die in bathtub accidents each year than in terrorist attacks?
The answer should be fairly obvious to such an august institution as Poynter: just as the press covers murders rather than traffic fatalities, which far outnumber killings in America each year, it covers terrorism intensively because motive matters. “If it bleeds it leads,” may be a rule-of-thumb in journalism, but how and why the person died still determine the importance of the story. Terrorism is not just run-of-the-mill murder; It attempts to strike at the heart of who and what we are as a nation. And to compare the numbers who died in the deadliest terror strike in our nation’s history with the annual homicides, which occur in all countries and cultures, is to miss the point of what happened in and to America on that fateful day.
Just what kind of journalism is Poynter promoting?
Terrorism was legitimately “the” story of the past decade. And we need only look at today’s newspapers – though no longer on the front pages of most of them – to appreciate the potential threat it still poses, despite America’s impressive gains against this intractable scourge.
As Poynter was recruiting journalism students for its mediocre course on Islam, real journalists were reporting that a “26-year-old man” from “a town west of Boston,” as The New York Times described him in its first graf, was being charged with plotting not only to blow up the Pentagon and the U.S. Capitol using remote-controlled aircraft filled with plastic explosives, but also to supply Al Qaeda with detonation devices and weapons to kill American soldiers overseas. The suspect, Rezwan Ferdaus, the Times continues, is “an American citizen” with “a physics degree from Northeastern University in Boston.”
Are those facts about him more important than something that is never reported in the story – the fact that he is a Muslim? The story dances all around religion, of course. It quotes the FBI affidavit as saying that Ferdaus considered Americans “enemies of Allah,” for instance. But nowhere does it say that he is part of a tiny, but growing, worrisome trend among Muslim Americans – those who are being radicalized here at home by real-life and on-line radical Islamist clerics and by myriad other factors that are still poorly understood.
The Poynter course, “Covering Islam in America,” barely mentions the proliferation of such “home-grown” Islamist terrorism in its discussion of important trends and facts about Islam. Its omissions – documented in detail by the conservative Media Research Center – are legion. Among them are the death fatwas issued by militants Muslims against Salman Rushdie (perhaps that is by now too ancient an outrage to include) or the more modern day threats against Kurt Westergaard, whose cartoon about the Muslim prophet Mohammed sparked riots around the world.
Although just this week Saudi women were just promised the right to vote – albeit in a municipal election four years from now – the new course gives short shrift to the Wahabism in the kingdom which makes women unable to make basic decisions about their lives – to travel, work, get educated, or open a business – without the permission of a male guardian. It says nothing, as MRC notes, about the fact that the Saudis executed a Sudanese worker last week for the Islamic crime of “sorcery.”
Its list of individuals and organizations for journalists to consult include such groups as CAIR, the Council on American-Islamic Relations, which the FBI has shunned for a time, and other dubious, self-appointed “spokespersons” for Islam. While there are excellent individuals in CAIR and at several of the other organizations the course lists, there are also some extremely radical voices. But Poynter’s free, on-line tutorial on Islam offers few such caveats. (You get what you pay for, I suppose.)
A database used by Islamist groups to support claims that the Muslim community is responsible for helping to break up one-third of terrorist plots is based on flawed and selective use of data, an Investigative Project on Terrorism analysis shows.
The Muslim Public Affairs Council (MPAC) claims in its study that "almost 1 out of 3 al-Qaida-related terror plots threatening America since 9/11/01" were thwarted in part because of help from the Muslim community. However, the MPAC study is full of mistakes, faulty data, contradictions, selective use of information, and demonstrably dishonest analysis:
MPAC overstates the role of "community assistance," including plots that were broken up by intelligence assets overseas and other plots that had little or nothing to do with the U.S. Muslim community; MPAC selectively defines what is a "terrorism incident," ignoring a huge set of cases involving the domestic support of terrorist organizations, as well as those involving threats outside of al Qaida, such as Hamas and Hizballah; MPAC ignores traditional law enforcement techniques, specifically avoiding the use of informants, a technique that the organization frequently condemns. Despite its flaws, the MPAC study continues to be cited by the media, with the New York Times recently inflating the statistics and stating—without bothering to review the underlying data—that according to a recent MPAC study "almost 4 of every 10 Qaida-related terrorism plots," were broken up with the help of "community assistance." They accepted MPAC's claims without bothering to review the underlying data.
Community help in all forms of crime prevention, not just terrorism, is critical. But the MPAC report is totally dishonest. The report suffers from a number of flaws—namely that it selectively defines what a "terrorism incident" is, overstates the role of the Muslim community in the cases identified, and seemingly ignores the contributions made by informants, a group that MPAC has condemned and falsely claimed to have instigated terrorist plots.
Aug 28, 2010 ... Muslim Brotherhood front, Hamas funder CAIR tries to club non-Muslims over the head with this non-existent "backlash" and "hate crimes"...
Oct 17, 2010 ... Atlas readers know I am fiercely against the idea of "hate crime." All crime is hate and should be prosecuted to the full extent of the law.
1 The term victim may refer to a person, business, institution, or society as a whole.
I wonder what the anti-Islamic number really is -- considering that many of the incidents have been found to have been committed by muslims. Stay classy, CAIR.
Today, the FBI released 2009 statistics which indicated that 6,604 criminal incidents involving 7,789 offenses were reported as a result of bias toward a particular race, religion, sexual orientation, ethnicity/national origin, or physical or mental disability. Hate Crime Statistics, 2009, published by the FBI’s Uniform Crime Reporting Program, includes data from hate crime reports submitted by law enforcement agencies throughout the nation.
Hate Crime Statistics, 2009, includes the following information:
Of the 6,598 single-bias incidents, 48.5 percent were motivated by a racial bias, 19.7 percent were motivated by a religious bias, 18.5 percent were motivated by a sexual-orientation bias, and 11.8 percent were motivated by an ethnicity/national origin bias. Bias against a disability accounted for 1.5 percent of single-bias incidents.
There were 4,793 hate crime offenses classified as crimes against persons in 2009. Intimidation accounted for 45.0 percent of crimes against persons, simple assaults for 35.3 percent, and aggravated assaults for 19.1 percent. Other offenses, including nine forcible rapes and eight murders, accounted for the remainder.
There were 2,970 hate crime offenses classified as crimes against property; most of these (83.0 percent) were acts of destruction/damage/vandalism. The remaining 17.0 percent of crimes against property consisted of robbery, burglary, larceny-theft, motor vehicle theft, arson, and other offenses.
An analysis of data for single-bias hate crime incident victims revealed that 48.8 percent were targeted because of the offender’s bias against a race, 18.9 percent because of a bias against a religious belief, 17.8 percent because of a sexual orientation bias, 13.3 percent because of an ethnicity/national origin bias, and 1.2 percent because of a disability bias.
Of the 6,225 known offenders, 62.4 percent were white, 18.5 percent were black, 7.3 percent were groups made up of individuals of various races (multiple races, group), 1.0 percent were American Indian/Alaskan Native, and 0.7 percent were Asian/Pacific Islander. The race was unknown for the remaining known offenders.
The largest percentage (31.3 percent) of hate crime incidents occurred in or near homes. In addition, 17.2 percent took place on highways, roads, alleys, or streets; 11.4 percent happened at schools or colleges; 6.1 percent in parking lots or garages; and 4.3 percent in churches, synagogues, or temples. The remaining 29.7 percent of hate crime incidents took place at other specified locations, multiple locations, or other/unknown locations.
Hate Crime Statistics, 2009 is available exclusively on the FBI’s website. Printed copies of the publication are no longer available.
CiF Watch outs the Jew-hating annihilationist and propagandist Max Blumenthal. Blumenthal embodies what can only be described as the new 21st century nazi. He will lie and fabricate blood libels out of whole cloth with the sole intent of destroying the Jewish people. He hates Jews, he hates America. He hates the good for being the good. He's a vile snake. Breitbart kicked his ass here.
911 MEGA MOSQUE PROTESTERS BEWARE: Be on the lookout for the pro-racist, pro-islamofascist "progressive" Max Blumenthal. See pictures of Max Blumenthal here and here. He has a video camera and looks for people at anti-islamofascist rallies who are flattered that he wants to interview them, but when they are at a loss for words, he suggests inflammatory words that the unsuspecting fall for. He then edits videos to suit his progressively islamofascist worldview.
Be careful of racist "max blumenthal". (thanks to Randy Phillips)
The IDF has now released an official clarification regarding the audio released yesterday
of a radio communication in which a flotillista tells the Israeli Navy to “Go Back to Auschwitz.” Bottom line: the exchange is genuine.
Those who questioned its authenticity – like Max Blumenthal and Ali Abunimah – have yet again revealed to the world that their
grasp of such trifling matters as truth and falsehood is shaky at
best.
The accusation that the audio was fake rested on
the following “A-ha!” moment: labeled on YouTube as originating from the Mavi
Marmara, the audio contained the voice of a passenger (Huwaida Arraf of the
ghastly International Solidarity Movement) who was traveling on another ship in
the flotilla. The IDF subsequently explained that the audio was incorrectly
labeled, because what was recorded came from an open channel which all the ships
in the flotilla could access. In any other context, the mislabeling would be
seen as an honest, and rather insignificant, mistake, but in the fevered
imagination of Max Blumenthal, it becomes a conspiracy.
Now that the principal argument for the faking
accusation has been decisively hobbled, what other evidence exists to support
Blumenthal? He accepts that the exchange occurred, if only because his pal
Huwaida makes an appearance. So is he saying that the IDF doctored the tape and
inserted the voices? Read his blog and you’ll see that he is, because he doesn’t
find the foreign accents he hears convincing (I’ll bet Blumenthal hasn’t met
that many foreigners, so he doesn’t get that one person can speak with American,
Arabic, Francophone and many other inflections in their voice.) Not quite the
smoking gun, in any case.
Back in the real world, the Rachel Corrie docked in Ashdod without incident and Hamas is back to doing
what it does best: making the lives of ordinary Gazans a hellish misery. Since Blumenthal is unlikely to write about
any of these things, perhaps he might find a moment to pen a quick
retraction/humble apology for making accusations that are, to use his favorite
word, “idiotic.”
John Esposito, jihadist and left wing ideologue, is sending this around. End game? The next holocaust. Esposito is a traitor to America, an agent working to overthrow the American system of government. He should be tried for sedition.
Look at how he speaks of Hamas as some legit org. They are a blood-hungry terrorist group whose charter explicitly states their objective -- the annihilation of the Jewish state.
Further, look at the document -- it appears to be written with prior knowledge of what would happen when the Israelis were attacked. This was a set up, and the intent is to delegitimize the Jewish state vis a vis international law.
The Legal Framework of International Law The Attack on the Gaza Freedom Flotilla by Israeli Navy Commandos on May 31, 2010 Crimes against the Peace and Crimes against Humanity During the pre-dawn hours of May 31, 2010, the Israeli Navy attacked the six civilian vessels of the Gaza Freedom Flotilla. The attack took place in international waters against ships flyingunder national flags of countries with which Israel is not at war, namely Turkey, Greece andthe United States. The ships were carrying civilians from more than sixteen countries. Salient points: 1. Since no state of war existed at the time, the attack on these vessels constitutes an act of war against those governments under whose flags the vessels were sailing. 2. The attack falls within the purview of the ius ad bellum, those laws which govern the resort toarmed conflict. Israel’s action does not fall into the category of the ius in bello or the lawswhich govern the actual conduct of war. 3. Because this attack was carried out in international waters, the status of the relationship betweenHamas, or any other Palestinian body, and the state of Israel is of no relevance whatsoever. Likewise, neither the blockade of Gaza nor Israel’s claims and legal interpretations regarding it has any bearing on its acts of aggression in international waters. 4. This is not an act of piracy. Piracy is an act of aggression carried out in international waters by individuals and not by states. The following internationally binding treaties, charters, and agreements are relevant to the attack by Israel: 1. Article 6 of the Charter Provisions of the Nuremburg Trials (a) Crimes against Peace: namely, planning, preparation, initiation, or waging of a war of aggression, or a war in violation of international treaties, agreements or assurances, or participation in a common plan or conspiracy for the accomplishment of any of the foregoing; (3) Crimes against Humanity: namely murder…deportation, and any other inhumane acts committed against any civilian population, before or during the war...in execution of or in connection with any crime…whether or not in violation of the domestic law of the country where perpetrated. 2. 1907 Hague Regulation Convention (XI) Relative to Certain Restrictions with Regard to the Exercise of the Right of Capture in Naval War Chapter II – The Exemption from Capture of Certain Vessels Article 4. Vessels charged with religious, scientific, or philanthropic missions are likewise exempt from capture. Salient points: 1. The standard for judging the Israeli acts is objective and not subjective. It is irrelevant what Israeli ministers, generals, admirals, or soldiers thought or intended. The test is in what they did. 2. What they did was engage in acts of war using weapons of war in international waters against vessels that are protected not only in peacetime but also in times of war. 3. Israel has therefore committed both crimes against the peace and crimes against humanity. 4. These are crimes that have international jurisdiction. Israeli political and military personnel can be named in trials held in any and all countries of the world. If the Israelis do not attend the trials, they can be tried in abstentia, and those decisions in which the Israelis are found guilty can be executed anywhere in the world. 5. Because unarmed civilians were murdered by a preplanned military attack, capital crimes have been committed. While it would appear that the international community no longer finds capital punishment civilized, the punishments for these capital crimes can be multiple life sentences. 6. These crimes give rise to damage claims for huge sums of money and Israeli accounts can be blocked using decisions finding them guilty. 7. The unarmed vessels were on a philanthropic mission, carrying civilians and humanitarian supplies. Even if Israel were in a state of war with any of these countries, it would be prohibited from capturing the vessels according to the terms of the Hague Convention of 1907. Conclusion: It follows, therefore, that Israel was first of all not allowed to attack these vessels militarily, and then not to board these vessels by force, capture these vessels, attack the passengers, imprison them on the vessels, forcibly remove them from the vessels, and steal their private property in the form of cameras, computers, clothes, etc. Every single act carried out by the Israeli military forces in international waters no May 31, 2010, are unqualifiedly and absolutely violations of international law. Lynda Brayer is a human rights lawyer who specialized in the laws of war and international law in representing Palestinians. She lives in Haifa. She can be reached at lyndabrayer@yahoo.com Appendix: The Gaza Freedom Flotilla included six vessels on May 31, 2010 1. Mavi Marmara, passenger boat, Turkey 2. Sofia, cargo ship, Greece 3. Gaza I, cargo ship, Turkey 4. Gaza II, cargo ship, Turkey 5. Spendoni, passenger ship, Greece 6. Challenger I, passenger ship, United States The majority of the passengers aboard the ships were Turkish citizens. There were also nationals from Britain, Australia, Greece, Canada, Malaysia, Algeria, Serbia, Belgium, Ireland, Norway, Sweden, Kuwait and the United States. Three German parliamentarians were aboard the Turkish boat that was stormed. There were also two Palestinian Members of the Knesset. Swedish author Henning Mankell was also on board the flotilla.
The true Islamists are non-Muslims who advocate for Islam. The true Islamists are non-Muslims like Grover Norquist, Eric Holder, General Casey, Joe Sestak, Time magazine, the UN, et al .... non-Muslims and non-Muslim orgs that actively work to spread Islam. That is an Islamist. A muslim is a muslim. Period.
The use of the term Islamist is intellectually dishonest and misleading. Once again, attempting to obscure and confuse the multitude with deceptions manufactured for consumption of non-believers. The global jihad relies heavily on non-Muslims, aka Islamists, to further their nefarious goals.
Daniel Pipes and his wrongheaded ilk like to use the fallacious term Islamist for pious Muslims. There is no such thing. There are secular Muslims and practicing Muslims. As Andrew Bostom so brilliantly revealed in his piece Islamist or Islamic?:
Layard’s narrative demonstrates how in mid-19th century parlance, “Islamism” and “Islam” were synonymous, and meant to be equivalent to “Catholicism,” “Protestantism,” and “Judaism”—not to “radical” or “fundamentalist” sects of any of these religions. Moreover, through at least the mid-1950s, scholars devoted to the formal study of Islamic doctrine and history were still referred to as “Islamists.”
Turkey’s current Prime Minister Erdogan, commenting in August, 2007 on the term “moderate Islam,” frequently used in the West to describe his ruling political party, the AKP, stated, “These descriptions are very ugly, it is offensive and an insult to our religion. There is no moderate or immoderate Islam. Islam is Islam and that’s it.” Erdogan’s displeasure is ironic, even somewhat humorous, given the contemporary Western apologetic obsession to recast the terms “Islamism,” and “Islamist,” to denote, exclusively, “radical” or “immoderate” Islam, and its adherents. But the irony of Erdogan’s ire aside, artificial distinctions between “Islamism” and Islam, “Islamist” and Islamic are logically incoherent, obfuscating irrefragable truths about living Islamic dogma, and its modern manifestations.
The 1990 Cairo Declaration, or “Universal Declaration of Human Rights in Islam”—not Islamism—was drafted and ratified by all the Muslim member nations of the Organization of the Islamic—not Islamist—Conference (OIC), a 57 state collective including every Islamic nation on earth. The OIC, currently headed by Turkey’s Ekmeleddin Ihsanoglu, thus represents the entire Muslim ummah (or global community), and is the largest single voting bloc in the United Nations.
And Robert Spencer weighed in onTurkey's PM Erdogan, who insisted that the term "moderate Islam" was ugly and offensive -- Islam is Islam:
And so in two sentences Erdogan dismisses the concept on which the Western world has placed its hopes of survival and peace.
Islam is Islam. Will this be discussed in the Western media? Will American and European analysts publicly take up the question of whether or not Erdogan is right, and what the implications might be if he is? Or will they ignore this and continue to assume in all their analyses that the opposite is true, and to dismiss as "ideologues" or "Islamophobes" those who point out that influential Muslims like Erdogan are saying things like this?
Which course do you think they'll choose?
Will Western leaders then begin discussing political Islam and its
implications openly? Or will they ignore this and continue to pretend
that Islam has no inherent or traditional political character, or if it
does, it is infinitely malleable anyway, and can be massaged without
difficulty into something completely benign?
The Muslims who are "working with" law enforcement present a special problem. It is in their doctrine that good Muslims, pious Muslims, lie, deceive to advance Islam, institute sharia, take over non-Muslim lands.
The New York imam working with law enforcement on the biggest bust in the US since 911 illustrates just how difficult the problem is. Imam Afzali, a permanent legal resident from Afghanistan, is accused of
lying to the FBI after he allegedly tipped off terror suspect Najibullah Zazi, 24.
The Queens imam is charged with lying to federal authorities investigating an alleged terror conspiracy. His family posted a $1.5-million bail.
Zazi was charged Thursday with one count of conspiring with others, who are not named, to use "one or more weapons of mass destruction," court papers say, including bombs or other explosives. Zazi's father, Mohammed Zazi, 53, also of Aurora, also was arrested and charged with making false statements to federal authorities.
In New York, Afzali declined to answer reporters' questions regarding Zazi other than to say Zazi used to visit the mosque.
The loyalty is always to Islam.
It's interesting to watch the media report on Islamic attacks on the West and struggle with identifying the enemy. Never is Islam mentioned, nor the violent doctrine in the quran that inspires the millions of mujahideen worldwide. Wild.
Najibullah Zazi planned for more than a year to manufacture and detonate bombs, with New York's transit system the likely target.
Those are among the terrorism charges lodged yesterday against the airport-shuttle driver, who reportedly admitted having received weapons and explosives training from al Qaeda.
Let's hope Attorney General Eric Holder was right when he said he believes that "any imminent threat arising from this case has been disrupted."
But there's another troubling element to this case: the role of Ahmad Wais Afzali, a Queens imam who, despite having cooperated with investigators in the past, allegedly tipped off Zazi that the feds were closing in -- forcing agents to move against Zazi sooner than planned.
Which raises the question of whether Afzali's dual role -- cooperating against would-be terrorists on the one hand, tipping them off on the other -- was an aberration. The FBI and local police have invested much time and effort in trying to develop sources of information in the Muslim community.
But some, like Rep. Pete King, claim that "80 to 85 percent of mosques in this country are controlled by Islamic fundamentalists." And while "average Muslims are loyal . . . they won't come forward and cooperate with police." The charges against Afzali make King's allegations all the more worrisome.
*****THE ORLANDO SENTINEL CALLS INTO ATLAS -SCROLL****
On June 4th, President Barack Hussein Obama made a speech to the Muslim world in Cairo. In it he said:
Freedom in America is indivisible from the freedom to practice one’s
religion. ...That is why the U.S.
government has gone to court to protect the right of women and girls to
wear the hijab, and to punish those who would deny it.
Why doesn't Barack go to the same extraordinary lengths to protect women and girls WHO DON'T WANT TO WEAR THE HIJAB?
Has anyone else noticed that the only narrative being propagated by the media on the slow motion honor killing case are thelies and deceptionof Rifqa Bary's devout Muslim family and their lawyers? The only opportunity Americans had to hear Rifqa Bary's story was on a youtube video I pulled off a raw news feed.
The insipid shills sell this girl down the river. Who are they working for?
One after another, lined up like good little dhimmi slaves. Once again the media makes evil good, and good evil. Three hours ago, Amy Edwards, the latest subjugated sycophant at the now notorious Orlando Sentinel, "breaks" this lie:
The pathetic reporter Amy Edwards (whom I called but has not returned my call) "breaks" the story with this: {UPDATE: Edwards called this morning, scroll for my conversation]:
Did the Orlando pastors who sheltered an Ohio teen convert who feared her Muslim family help the girl run away to Florida?
A Department of Children and Families document just obtained by the Orlando Sentinel indicates there's a possibility.
A hand-written note on a caregiver home study conducted on Blake and
Beverly Lorenz, pastors of Global Revolution Church, said an initial
DCF study was approved "prior to being informed that the pastor's
family was involved with possibly helping the child run away from Ohio."
This is the tactic, BTW, to smear the good pastor. Rifqa hitchhiked to the bus depot, trying to get as far away from her terror as possible, and the good folks who provided her refuge are the guilty party? Did this tool Amy Edwards attempt to contact Rifqa's friends in Ohio?
Did this shill Amy Edwards attempt to confirm Rifqa's easily
confirmable story?
The story is not the pastor, Amy. The story is the terror of Rifqa and how we, as good decent human beings, can help save her from a tragic fate. Shame on you. Why doesn't the media do an investigative piece on the Bary family mosque, Noor Islamic Center, hot bed of extremist activity? Patrick Poole on the extremist ties to the mosque:
We need Ohio to stay out of Rifqa's case.Ohio is biased, Florida is neutral. Look at the remarks law enforcement has already made, before they conducted any investigation.
Columbus police also question
the girl's claim of being in danger.
Mohamed Bary "comes across to
me as a loving, caring, worried father about the whereabouts and the health of
his daughter," said Sgt. Jerry Cupp, chief of the Columbus police missing
persons bureau.
The police and child services in Ohio have spoken to Rifqa's friends. Law enforcement knows about the abuse.
Back in July, the news reports mentioned her recent
trips to churches in her community; some of her friends were worried
that her going missing had something to do with her recent conversion.
The authorities also know that the night before Rifqa left the house - she left a note for her parents. Rifqa said here:
I
wrote my parents a note, I said, I refuse to deny Jesus and He’s my Lord and
Savior and I pray you find His forgiveness and mercy and I love them both
dearly. I wrote that, but they never showed it to the police officers. They want
me back home, I can’t go back to Ohio, you guys don’t understand. That
community, they’re like – I will die within a week. My life is at stake. My dad
threatened me
They also know she wrote notes to her friends and posted it on facebook, "please pray for me, My mom discovered my journal. She said just wait until your dad gets home". Rifqa asked for their prayers. So the police were well aware of this intolerance of religious views.
It
was the father who deleted her facebook page. It was her father who
disconnected her cell phone. He had plans for that girl. He had plans.
So they are corrupt. And biased. That is why you must call Governor
Strickland TODAY and tell him NOT TO ASK FOR THE CASE ON FRIDAY.
FRIDAY 3:15 pm IS WHEN JURISDICTION IS DECIDED! GET ON THE HORN.
Governor's Office
Riffe Center, 30th Floor
77 South High Street
Columbus, OH 43215-6108
UPDATE: Arun writes that he just faxed this attached document to Governor Strickland Apparently, there is a free fax service online. It really works. Perhaps you can share with your readers.
The free service is at here.
UPDATE: Giant props to the International Christian Concern and Act for America for getting behind Rifqa and urging members to save her life.
For the better part of the last hour I have been talking to someone who is very close to Rifqa Bary. The more that is revealed of Rifqa's story, the more urgent it is for us to ACT in defense of this child.
Rifqa Bary is an honor student, a cheerleader - a good girl. Like Amina and Sarah Said, she lived two lives: she was a happy productive successful student in school and a tortured, oppressed and brutalized victim at home. Many in her school were shocked to hear that Rifqa, the quintessential good girl, had run away from home; those close to her were not surprised at all.
On several occasions friends of Rifqa would bring her down to the school counselor because of bruises on her legs and her arms, beatings suffered at the hands of her father and brother (sounds like Islam Said). The middle school, in a serious dereliction of duty, did not report these beatings to child welfare services. Beatings were random, violent, unprovoked. Take, for example, when Rifqa and her father Mohammad were driving in the car. He would force her to wear the hijab, which she hated. In her discomfort she would slouch down, embarrassed, and her father would haul off and sock her in the face so that she never forgot to sit up straight in her costume. The beatings were regular and so much a part of the landscape of Rifqa's life, she became inured to them, just like Amina and Sarah and Aqsa and every "honor" victim.
Rifqa: "He took that laptop and waved it in the
air and he was about to beat me with it, and he said, “If you have this Jesus in
your heart, you’re dead to me. You’re not my daughter.” And I refused to speak
but he said, “I will kill you. Tell me the truth.” In these words, bad words,
cuss words. So I knew that I had to get away"
It was only when her father was warned by the members of the Muslim community at Noor Islamic Cultural Center that his daughter was an apostate, that Rifqa bolted. She had to run: he vowed to kill her in the time honored Islamic tradition of honor killings. The Noor Islamic Cultural Center has a notorious reputation for extremist ties. Salah Sultan was the scholar in residence at the Noor mosque. Patrick Poole has his story here:
Salah Sultan, internationally renowned Islamic hate sheikh
from Hilliard, Ohio, was recorded yesterday on Egyptian Al-Nas TV preaching Jew
hatred and spewing conspiracy filth. In his interview, Sultan approvingly cites
the infamous Protocols of the Elders of
Zion. Sultan also warns of the forthcoming destuction and deaths of
Americans, vowing that more Americans will be killed than Palestinians in Gaza —
and soon!
Wonder what his friends at the Noor Islamic Cultural Center, especially his best friend and
mosque president Hany Saqr, think about that? Oh, and did I mention that Sultan
used to be the religious director at the Islamic school in Hilliard, Sunrise Academy, and the scholar-in-residence for the Islamic Society of Greater Columbus? They have any thoughts on
his comments? And was this what Sultan was preaching while he was touring
Columbus-area mosques this month?
Here’s the transcript of his interview courtesy of MEMRI:
Al-Nas TV, December 29,
2008
Egyptian cleric Dr. Sallah Sultan: The arch-murderer who
commanded the campaign against Jenin in 2003 went to America a few months later
and boarded a NASA space shuttle. The space shuttle was launched by NASA, and a
few minutes later, it reached Texas, the land of President Bush. Then this space
shuttle shattered to pieces, along with the five top American space scientists,
and that commander of the Zionist airforce was on board with them. Where exactly
did it shatter and fall? By Allah, Sheik Mahmoud, although I was living in
America, I didn’t know that there was a city called “Palestine” in America.
Sheik Mustafa, the space shuttle fell, of all places, in the city of Palestine,
in President Bush’s state of Texas.

The stone, which is
thrown at the Jews, hates these Jews, these Zionists, because Allah foretold, via His
Prophet Muhammad, that Judgment Day will not come before the Jew and the Muslim
fight. The Jew will hide behind stones and trees, and the stone and the tree
will speak, saying: “Oh Muslim, there is a Jew behind me, come and kill
him.” The only exception will be the Gharqad tree.
Yes, that’s our local terror sheikh, Hilliard resident Salah Sultan (right)
hamming it up with Qaradawi (center) and Lebanese Muslim Brotherhood leader
Faisal al-Malawi (left). Sultan serves on the board for two of Qaradawi’s
organizations along with al-Malawi, the International Association of Muslim
Scholars and the European Council for Fatwa and Research. Qaradawi and Malawi
are both banned from the US for their open support of HAMAS and other terrorist
organizations, as well as for issuing fatwas allowing for suicide bombings
against civilians. In 2004, Qaradawi, Malawi and Sultan issued
a fatwa in the name of IAMS calling for jihad against American troops in
Iraq.
Sultan is also a member of the Fiqh Council of North America, which bills itself
as the top Islamic ruling body in the US.
Here’s another shot of them
laughing it up:
Rifqa cannot be returned to this town in Ohio where the local scholars glad hand with the likes of a jihadist Islamic supremacist genocidal sheikh like Qaradawi.
Rifqa told her story to as many as twenty adults before she fled. No one would listen.
This girl has been abused enough. When she was brought into custody in Florida, this tiny bit of a thing was shackled at the ankle and waist and incarcerated with the juvenile criminals. Shame on them.
Rifqa Bary's day in Juvenile Court is August 21st, the first day of Ramadan.

Rifqa Bary is not only in jeopardy from her father and other family
members but from all devout Muslims, for in converting to Christianity,
she committed the worst of all sins, apostasy. And she broke the code of silence (whole article here).

Hamas and their UN shills falsely accused Israel of phosphorus attacks in Gaza back in January (all while Hamas was firing phosphorus bombs at Israel). When the allegations against the Jews proved untrue, the disinformationalists quieted down. Meanwhile, Muslims in Afghanistan are using phosphorus munitions with impunity, and nary a word from the international community. The morally bankrupt and the morally corrupt .............
KABUL - The
U.S. military accused militants in Afghanistan on Monday of using
white phosphorus munitions in attacks on American forces and in
civilian areas, saying it has documented at least 44 incidents of
insurgents using or storing the weapons. A spokeswoman labeled the
attacks "reprehensible."
White phosphorus is a
spontaneously flammable material that leaves severe chemical burns on
flesh. Using white phosphorus to illuminate a target or create smoke
is considered legitimate under international law, but rights groups
say its use over populated areas can indiscriminately burn civilians
and constitutes a war crime.
The U.S. military, in
documents supplied to The Associated Press, said there had been at
least seven instances of militants using white phosphorus in
improvised explosive attacks since spring 2007, including attacks in
civilian areas.
The military documents
showed 12 attacks where militants used white phosphorus in mortar or
rocket attacks, the majority of which came the last two years.
The American military
itself uses white phosphorus in Afghanistan to light up the night sky
and for smoke screens.
The most recent militant
attack using white phosphorus came last Thursday, when a NATO outpost
in Logar was hit with two rounds of indirect white phosphorus fire,
the documents said. Most troops in Logar, which lies south of Kabul,
are American.
Afghan
authorities have also said Taliban fighters may have used a burning
agent - possibly white phosphorus - in a major battle on May 4, after
doctors discovered unusual burns among the dead and wounded.
President Hamid Karzai has said up to 130 civilians died in that
battle. The U.S. blamed militants for deliberately putting civilians
in harm's way.
Col. Greg Julian, the top
U.S. military spokesman in Afghanistan, said the U.S. did not use
white phosphorus at all in last week's battle in Farah province.
A U.S. spokeswoman, Maj.
Jenny Willis, said the militants' use of white phosphorus as a weapon
could cause "unnecessary suffering" as defined in the laws
of warfare.
"This pattern of
irresponsible and indiscriminate use of white phosphorus by
insurgents is reprehensible and should be noted by the international
human rights community," she said.
Willis said the U.S.
military and NATO have been able to document 44 cases of white
phosphorus use by insurgents - either attacks or in weapons caches -
but that there may be more. Thirty-eight of those cases occurred in
eastern Afghanistan, the region where the majority of American troops
are stationed. Six cases came from other parts of the country.
Willis said the military
doesn't necessarily know that militants are using white phosphorus
deliberately, but that its use is still "indiscriminate."
A Taliban spokesman
couldn't immediately be reached for comment.
The U.S. allegations come
after Human Rights Watch last week called on the military to release
information into a March 14 battle in Kapisa - one province northeast
of Kabul - in which an 8-year-old Afghan girl named Razia was burned
by white phosphorus munitions.
Willis said the U.S.
can't be certain who fired the round that wounded Razia, who has been
receiving medical care at the U.S. base at Bagram, where she has had
10 skin grafts.
"There's
no way to be sure that it was an enemy round that impacted Razia's
house, but based on the plotting of ISAF's rounds and the time of the
reported impact, we can't establish that ISAF was responsible
either," Willis said, referring to NATO's International Security
Assistance Force.
"Either
scenario is possible, and equally regrettable. One thing is certain:
Razia will have the best care that we can give her".
White phosphorus is used
to mark targets, create smoke screens or as a weapon, and can be
delivered by shells, flares or hand grenades. Human rights groups
denounce its use as a weapon for the severe burns it causes, though
it is not banned by any treaty to which the United States is a
signatory.
The U.S. military used
white phosphorus in the battle of Fallujah in Iraq in November 2004.
Israel's military used it in January against Hamas targets in Gaza.
Afghan
officials on Sunday said they were investigating the possibility that
white phosphorus was used in a U.S.-Taliban battle in Farah province
last week that President Hamid Karzai said killed up to 130
civilians.
Nader
Nadery, an official with the Afghanistan Independent Human Rights
Commission, said Monday that doctors are treating 16 patients with
severe burns suffered in the May 4 battle. The commission is
investigating the possible use of white phosphorus or another
incendiary chemical against villagers during the battle.
Nadery
said Farah's governor told the group's researchers that many of those
killed in the battle also had severe burns. The governor confirmed
that Taliban fighters may attacked the villagers with a flammable
material, though not necessarily white phosphorus, Nadery said.
To insert islamic law (shariah) in the same sentence as "humanitarian" law is so patently dishonest and dangerous and bad enough, but a conference that attempts to put the two together is criminal. It is propaganda under the guise of education.
What deception! This is taqiyya, lies to advance Islam. Who is underwriting this? What petrosheikdom is Syracuse whoring itself out for? Or is this part of OIC compliance in league with the Alliance of Civilizations? Islamic law ...think taliban. Think stoning, public hangings of gays, honor killings, clitorectomies, beheading, death penalties for apostasy and hypocrisy, (and reinterpreting the Koran), shariah finance, child marriage, marital rape, death to rape victims..... Islamic law should be crushed, extinguished from the pages of modern history - relegated to seventh century barbarism.
Atlas reader Scott G wrote me, "I recently received a self congratulatory e-mail from the Dean's office for the school of Arts and Sciences boasting of a conference that explores and celebrates Islamic thinking in humanitarian law. This conference takes place this week.
Dhimmitude in CNY? It seems this conference will whitewash Islamic law and give it legitimacy as a valid source of legislation. No one reads my blog, but maybe you can get some action on stopping this. Though I'm sure it's too late now."
Any of my readers on the board of Syracuse? Someone needs to slap these asshats out of it. These people are going to be eaten alive.
4.17.2009 Workshop, Syracuse University: The goal of the initiative’s first workshop is to begin identifying the most pressing issues at the intersection of Islamic jurisprudence and humanitarian law and to consider how their shared concerns may prompt creativity in addressing present gaps in IHL—notably, the lack of standards for dealing with the rise of irregular armies or the inability of the law to accommodate asymmetric forms of attacks by non-state entities against sovereign states.
III Network and Related Initiatives: INSCT is developing partnerships on different aspects of this topic with the United Institute for Peace’s (USIP) Rule of Law Center of Innovation, which develops strategies for policymakers and practitioners to promote the rule of law in fragile and post-conflict societies; and Harvard University’s International Humanitarian Law Research Initiative (IHLRI), a central resource for the reaffirmation and development of international humanitarian law based at the Program on Humanitarian Policy and Conflict Research (HPCR) at the Harvard School of Public Health.
Well, the 20 million dollar gift that Harvard received from the Saudis really did pay off.
ISLAM AND INTERNATIONAL HUMANITARIAN LAW (hat tip Scott G)
304 Tolley Humanities Building, Syracuse University
Overview: The Islam-IHL initiative examines from multiple perspectives the ongoing role of Islam, including Islamic leaders, in International Humanitarian Law (IHL), and the potential of that contribution for contending with new forms of warfare and international conflicts. The goal of the Workshop is to begin identifying the most pressing issues at the intersection of Islamic jurisprudence and humanitarian law and to consider how their shared concerns may prompt creativity in addressing troubling gaps in IHL today—notably, the lack of standards for dealing with the rise of irregular armies, or the inability of the law to accommodate asymmetric forms of attacks by non-state entities against sovereign states.
NUTS!
Topics for Discussion will likely include the role of culturally and religiously-based legal norms and their authoritative sources for limiting armed conflict’s effects on victims; the meaning of asymmetry from the perspective of the weaker party; conflicting and even incompatible notions of legitimacy and defense in military actions; and the role of universal human rights standards in relation to culture and conflict.
Approach: The bodies of law under consideration are “living traditions,” to paraphrase the 8th century jurist al-Awzai’s view of Islamic law, the uninterrupted, intergenerational practice of adapting approved legal precepts to contemporary circumstances. This view rebuts the tendency to reduce Western and Islamic legal traditions to static or monolithic constructs by recognizing each as complex, dynamic, and plural (made up of sub-traditions). Given the inherent complexity of this subject across traditional disciplines and practice areas (i.e., international humanitarian, military, legal, and policy communities) an interdisciplinary approach and sustained collaboration for advancing knowledge on this pressing topic is necessary.
Objective: The resulting analysis from the Islam-IHL initiative will lay the groundwork for engaging a larger community of practitioners and scholars in understanding the relationship between IHL and Islamic law for internationally viable approaches to present-day asymmetric challenges—including those involving Islamic groups or states.
Research questions:
· What role does Islam play in international laws and norms for conducting warfare and why do some consider Islamic law an alternative to IHL?
· Does incorporating primary and secondary Islamic sources foster a different understanding and legal interpretation of key IHL provisions and its present challenges today?
· What shared or divergent visions and precepts underlie IHL and Islamic attempts to humanize warfare?
· Do Islamic doctrines of warfare have lessons for contemporary conflict settings, asymmetric warfare, non-state belligerents, present gaps in IHL, or the relationship between Jus in bello and Jus ad bellum?
· Are contesting interpretations of Islamic law enabling Islamist interpretations of warfare and the use of violence for social and political change?
· What would a productive synthesis look like between Islamic jurisprudence and IHL that humanizes war while preserving state’s sovereignty, a balance central to the universal acceptance of IHL?

And CAIR spokesman in Chicago USA said, "they should respect the modesty of the accused." Respect? It is alleged she beat the kid to death. The child had
55 separate bruises and was beaten "from head to toe". If she beat that kid to death, I'd hang her naked.
The police booking photo of alleged child killer Nour Hadid released Tuesday
is an "insult against our religion," says Hadid's husband, Alaeddin.
Orland Park police detectives say the 26-year-old Muslim woman was treated as
any other suspect in a murder probe would be, and they did not intend to
humiliate her when they photographed her Sunday without her headscarf and
wearing only a skimpy top
Nour Hadid is accused of beating her 2-year-old niece Bhia Hadid to death
over four days at her home on the 9000 block of West 140th Street. The child had
55 separate bruises and was beaten "from head to toe," according to prosecutors,
who say Hadid confessed.
But Alaeddin Hadid - who insists his wife is innocent - said Orland Park
police are "really going to be in big trouble" for releasing the woman's booking
photo to the news media after she was charged with first-degree murder.
The Hadids are Muslims and Nour "never leaves the home without covering up,"
said Alaeddin, who's vowed to sue.
[...]
Suicide threats
Orland Park police Cmdr. Chuck Doll said the mug shot was taken "for
identification purposes" before Hadid made her confession. Her headscarf was
handed back to her after the photo was taken, Doll said.
"A matron was with her at all times while she was in our custody," Doll said.
A matron is a law enforcement official who works with women held in custody.
"She was wearing a tank top, and she had the headscarf when she was
interviewed."
The headscarf later was taken from her after she made suicide threats, he
said.
Why didn't she kill herself before she killed the child? Pity, my friends, the children who live under sharia law.
A sobbing Hadid appeared without the headscarf at the Bridgeview courthouse
Tuesday and is being held without bail at the Cermak Medical Center at the Cook
County Jail, where she remains on suicide watch.
Police have said her husband's possible involvement in Bhia's death still is
under investigation.
Nour Hadid's attorney, Frank Celani, said he hopes to speak with her today
about the mug shot.
Respecting the accused
Islamic advocacy groups seem wary of taking up Hadid's cause.
Spokesmen for the Council on Islamic American Relations, the Islamic Society
of North America and the Bridgeview Mosque Foundation all declined to comment
Thursday.
But Dr. Mohammed Sahloul, chairman of the Council of Islamic Organizations of
Chicago, said that while police should follow the usual procedures with all
defendants, "they should respect the modesty of the accused."
Sahloul, who made it clear he was not aware of the Hadid case and was
speaking in general terms about the hijab, pointed out that Muslim women are
allowed to wear hijabs in photos for their state IDs.
"If it's for the purposes of identification and they cover in public, then
that's going to be more effective in identifying them anyway," he said.
I reported earlier this week that Wal- Mart had taken the Mattel doll spouting Islamic propaganda off the shelves. Well, maybe not. See below. This is not the first email I have received from Atlas readers who report that on their visit to Wal-Mart, the doll was there chanting the Islamic mantra, "Islam is the light".
Readers, when you see this doll, complain to store management! This just in from reader Atlas reader Susan, it has an interesting twist:
I went to my local Wal-Mart today and saw AND heard the doll say "Islam is the Light" as clear as day--another shopper stopped too. I checked the other dolls on the shelf (white ones) and they didn't seem to have the same vocals. The doll that did was a dark-skinned, but not African-American doll. (I have the SKU number as well). I was floored, especially because they said they were pulling them. I live in Cheser County PA (Exton, PA Wal-Mart). Thought I'd pass on.
SKU 2708456915 -- this is the doll.
Here is the link for the one that she saw. They have rotating sounds/coos on
the chip, not just one sound. There is, btw, an African-American version of Baby dawah and this is not it. Can you imagine coming home, a working mom, from a hard day's work, and hearing your sweet little tyke looking up at you and parroting, "Islam is the light!"?
The whole contradiction between the Mattel audio file and the one that the Moms recorded is a real smoking gun. Mattel did something to change the audio JUST at the phrase Islam is the Light. Advancing Islamic dawah and then a cover-up.
OUR FINDINGS: On October 13, 2008, Mattel posted - on their corporate
webpage for “Investors and Media” - an audio file which they alleged
was for the “Islam is the Light” sound made by the Little Mommy Real
Loving Baby Cuddle & Coo doll.
On November 18, Scott Grayban, a computer and audio expert, received
an “Islam is the Light” doll directly from amazon.com, and recorded his
own audio file using the methods described below. He compared it to
the Mattel file posted at their website October 13, 2008.
The audio file recorded by Scott Grayban: my-sound.wav
As you can see, the two files are very similar - close to identical - UNTIL
YOU REACH the section of audio for “Islam is the Light.” At that
section, the Mattel file is very different from the Grayban file - and
from the earlier parts of the Mattel file itself. FULL EXPLANATION
BELOW:
Comparison: Mattel Website Audio vs. Actual Doll Audio
RECOMMENDATION:
Further investigation is needed to determine if the file posted at the
Mattel “Investors and Media” webpage was in any way altered from the
actual sound made by the doll. If the sound is indeed different due to
being edited or some other manipulation, other consumers and
shareholders should ask for a formal investigation by the Federal Trade
Commission (FTC) and the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC).
Based on Grayban’s tests, we are submitting a complaint and request for
investigation to both FTC and SEC.
Pending those official investigations, you can replicate Grayban’s
experiment yourself, and we encourage any owner of the LMRLBCC doll to
do so. We describe here the findings from this single experiment.
We're writing to ask
for your help with a local citizen's campaign this December. Our goal is to
convince stores to stop selling a Mattel talking doll that says "Islam is the
light," a way of inviting someone to join Islam - also know as "Da'wa." We have
started this campaign in Virginia and Maryland, and we need your help to take it
nationwide.
The controversial toy
is called the "Little Mommy Real Loving Baby Cuddle & Coo" doll,
manufactured by Mattel-Fisher Price. We've put up a website to provide
resources for parents to download an information packet to give to store
managers. As parents, we've already started asking store managers to remove the
dolls from the store shelves, or to put labels on the dolls stating "Notice:
this doll says 'Islam is the light,' an invitation to your child to join
Islam."
THE "ISLAM IS THE
LIGHT" DOLL IS STILL ON THE SHELVES
You may have heard
about this controversy in the media. It received a lot of print and TV media
attention in October and earlier in November. Yet - hard as it is to believe -
most stores are still carrying the doll on their shelves for the holiday
shopping season. The doll has no warning label letting parents know that it
clearly says "Islam is the light." In fact, we found one store in Virginia
where the dolls had the audio disabled AND the front packaging panel (where the
name is displayed) ripped off, which made it harder for parents to know that
this was the controversial doll. A few newer dolls are being distributed
without the sound file, but most still say "Islam is the light."
Bottom line - parents
are still buying the doll RIGHT NOW, taking it home, and may not realize what
the doll says until Christmas morning when their child unwraps the package and
the doll tells her that "Islam is the light."
MATTEL DENIES
EVERYTHING
You'd think Mattel
would have recalled the doll after parents complained, after some retailers
pulled it in response to parent complaints, and after about twenty Youtube
videos went up spontaneously from parents and local TV news stations showing
that the doll was really saying "Islam is the light." But no. Mattel denies
everything.
Mattel has flatly
denied that the doll audio files say "Islam is the light," and has stated that
parents are hearing the phrase "Islam is the light" because of "power of
suggestion." Mattel even put up their "version" of the doll's audio file on
their investors and media webpage, although an actual recording of the doll's
audio appears to be VERY different (see the "audio research" link at the link label the link.
JOIN OUR CAMPAIGN TO
NOTIFY STORE MANAGERS AND PARENTS
We decided enough is
enough - store managers need to get the doll off the shelves, or at least label
the packaging for each doll so parents know what they are buying their kids for
Christmas. We've sent a formal complaint to the Federal Trade Commission, and
we've put together information packets you can take to store managers to inform
them about the doll (including a sheet of 30 labels they can put on the doll
packaging). At their website, we have created a "case"
reporting system for each store: just email us basic info about the store you
visited and the store manager's response, and we'll put it up so everyone can
track the progress in that case. You can see how we've started to do this at
the "Cases" link at their website
If you can visit just
one store - just one - you can make a difference.
This campaign is also
a way to educate our communities about the threat of the Islamic legal and
political doctrine of Shariah. Shariah is particularly discriminatory and
violent towards Muslim and non-Muslim girls and women. This unadvertised use
of a doll - without any notice to parents in the doll's packaging - to
advocate Islam to children is particularly offensive and inappropriate, given
the very real risks to girls under Shariah.
The Marines have a
good saying: "We do well that which we know will be inspected." We need to let
store managers know that parents across America, this holiday season, are
inspecting them for their responsiveness to community concerns about the "Islam
is the Light" doll.
More empirical evidence of what I contended here, Obama's real sentiments and motivations despite weak lip service paid to the contrary from time to time. He is anti-Israel. He brings the best and the brightest Jew haters under his tent. It is not "Republican" that enjoins these demogogues, it is their hate for Israel.
By his acts we shall know him, and so we know him. Yet again.
