Demand the U.S. Government Investigate Un-indicted co-conspirator Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR)

We Call on the U.S. Government to Conduct an Immediate and Thorough Investigation into the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) in the Interest of National Security We are GREATLY CONCERNED about past and ongoing activities by the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR), and look to our U.S. Government to immediately commence a thorough investigation into the organization, including its leadership, affiliates and activities. We REMIND our elected officials that CAIR has documented ties to the terrorist organization Hamas and that CAIR was named as an unindicted co-conspirator in the Holy Land Foundation trial (a trial that ended with guilty verdicts on 108 counts of funneling $12 million to Hamas). We REMIND our elected officials that CAIR has individuals either under its current or former employ, or as its affiliates, who have direct ties to terrorism both in the U.S. and abroad: such as Nihad Awad, CAIR’s current national executive director, who participated in a meeting about how to disguise payments to Hamas terrorists as charity; Abdurahman Alamoudi, a CAIR director who is now serving 23 years in federal prison for plotting terrorism; and Omar M. Ahmad, CAIR’s founder and former chairman, who was named an unindicted co-conspirator in the Holy Land case, to name but a few examples. We are deeply CONCERNED at recent reports that CAIR has worked to undermine U.S. law enforcement by tipping off suspected terrorists under investigation, and by directing Muslim-Americans to not cooperate with the F.B.I. We are DISMAYED that, despite these facts, CAIR continues to be the primary group consulted by both media and government agencies with regard to the Muslim-American community. In the name of true transparency, therefore, we REQUEST that Congress and the Administration support the following investigative actions: The U.S. DEPARTMENT OF JUSTICE share with each member of the U.S. Congress an executive summary of the findings that led them to name CAIR as a co-conspirator in a terrorism case. The House Sergeant at Arms work with all Members of Congress and their top staff, particularly those Members who sit on the House Judiciary, Homeland Security, and Intelligence Committees, to perform background checks on staff under their employ, considering evidence that CAIR has strategically worked to place staffers there. The U.S. Internal Revenue Service perform a full and thorough investigation into the business activities of CAIR, specifically their lobbying activities, to judge if they are in violation of their federal non-profit status as a 501c3 organization. Further, we REJECT all attempts by CAIR to discredit those who call for a formal investigation into their organization by falsely arguing such action is “anti-Muslim.” This has been an oft-used distraction tactic of theirs, and it is time it came to an end. This issue is about CAIR and only CAIR. We REMIND our elected officials that their primary responsibility to our nation’s citizens is to PROTECT AND DEFEND, and we therefore URGE them to take immediate action on this matter.

Protest Gadhafi's Englewood Tent

There is a rally in New Jersey to protest Muammar Gadhafi's taking up a tent residence in Englewood, New Jersey, a Jewish enclave. It's disgusting, of course, but frankly, my heart does not bleed for the leftwing Jews who voted for Obama and this anti-semitic administration.

I heard Michael J. Wildes, Mayor of the predominately Jewish, heavily Democrat Englewood, on Fox yesterday declaring himself a loyal Democrat and standing by the party. Really? Then live with their vile anti-American, anti-semitic policies.

Here is the press release from HRCARI -- a board I used to be on, but they stopped talking to me when I denounced Rabbi Avi Weiss for covering for Islamic anti-semitism in the planned shul bombing attacks by Muslims in NYC. If Muslims bombing synagogues isn't Islamic anti-semitism ...... Go figure.

As some of you may or may not know, Libyan mass-murdering dictator Muammar Gadhafi is set to visit NYC in order to speak before the UN. He will be staying in a home next door to Rabbi Shmuley Boteach's home in Englewood, NJ. He is set to violate several building codes and set up a "tent" on the lawn of this home, and cost the city $20,000 a day in this bad economy.

 

Mayor Michael Wildes of Englewood, NJ has organized a protest at Shmuley Boteach's home at 11 am, this Sunday. Governor Corzine will be there, as will Congressman Steve Rothman. Other assorted individuals in the media are set to be at this event. I found out about this event through Rabbi Mark Wildes of MJE, who informed me about the rally after I emailed him Carl in Jerusalem's article about Gadhafi going to Englewood.

Rifqa Bary: Slow Motion Honor Killing

 

For the better part of the last hour I have been talking to someone who is very close to Rifqa Bary. The more that is revealed of Rifqa's story, the more urgent it is for us to ACT in defense of this child.

Rifqa Bary is an honor student, a cheerleader - a good girl. Like Amina and Sarah Said, she lived two lives: she was a happy productive successful student in school and a tortured, oppressed and brutalized victim at home. Many in her school were shocked to hear that Rifqa, the quintessential good girl, had run away from home; those close to her were not surprised at all.

On several occasions friends of Rifqa would bring her down to the school counselor because of bruises on her legs and her arms, beatings suffered at the hands of her father and brother (sounds like Islam Said). The middle school, in a serious dereliction of duty, did not report these beatings  to child welfare services. Beatings were random, violent, unprovoked. Take, for example, when Rifqa and her father Mohammad were driving in the car. He would force  her to wear the hijab, which she hated. In her discomfort she would slouch down, embarrassed, and her father would haul off and sock her in the face so that she never forgot to sit up straight in her costume. The beatings were regular and so much a part of the landscape of Rifqa's life, she became inured to them, just like Amina and Sarah and Aqsa and every "honor" victim.

Rifqa: "He took that laptop and waved it in the air and he was about to beat me with it, and he said, “If you have this Jesus in your heart, you’re dead to me. You’re not my daughter.” And I refused to speak but he said, “I will kill you. Tell me the truth.” In these words, bad words, cuss words. So I knew that I had to get away"

It was only when her father was warned by the members of the Muslim community at Noor Islamic Cultural Center that his daughter was an apostate, that Rifqa bolted. She had to run: he vowed to kill her in the time honored Islamic tradition of honor killings. The Noor Islamic Cultural Center has a notorious reputation for extremist ties. Salah Sultan was the scholar in residence at the Noor mosque. Patrick Poole has his story here:

Salah Sultan, internationally renowned Islamic hate sheikh from Hilliard, Ohio, was recorded yesterday on Egyptian Al-Nas TV preaching Jew hatred and spewing conspiracy filth. In his interview, Sultan approvingly cites the infamous Protocols of the Elders of Zion. Sultan also warns of the forthcoming destuction and deaths of Americans, vowing that more Americans will be killed than Palestinians in Gaza — and soon!

Wonder what his friends at the Noor Islamic Cultural Center, especially his best friend and mosque president Hany Saqr, think about that? Oh, and did I mention that Sultan used to be the religious director at the Islamic school in Hilliard, Sunrise Academy, and the scholar-in-residence for the Islamic Society of Greater Columbus? They have any thoughts on his comments? And was this what Sultan was preaching while he was touring Columbus-area mosques this month?

This girl has been abused enough. When she was brought into custody in Florida, this tiny bit of a thing was shackled at the ankle and waist and incarcerated with the juvenile criminals. Shame on them.

With the public’s trust in his handling of health care tanking (50%-44% of Americans disapprove), the White House has launched a new phase of its strategy designed to pass Obamacare: all Obama, all the time. As part of that effort, Obama hosted a conference call with leftist bloggers urging them to pressure Congress to pass his health plan as soon as possible.

During the call, a blogger from Maine said he kept running into an Investors Business Daily article that claimed Section 102 of the House health legislation would outlaw private insurance. He asked: “Is this true? Will people be able to keep their insurance and will insurers be able to write new policies even though H.R. 3200 is passed?” President Obama replied: “You know, I have to say that I am not familiar with the provision you are talking about.” (quote begins at 17:10)

This is a truly disturbing admission by the President, especially considering that later in the call, Obama promises yet again: “If you have health insurance, and you like it, and you have a doctor that you like, then you can keep it. Period.” How can Obama keep making this promise if he is not familiar with the health legislation that is being written in Congress? Details matter.

Fox just reported that President Obama called the head of the CBO to the White House for a meeting after he gave testimony critical of the financial effect of healthcare reform last week.

The CBO does not work for the executive branch. What about separation of powers?

Back on June 18th, I published the video and post ISLAM IN AMERICA: "FALL OF CAPITALISM AND RISE OF ISLAM",  a conference planning jihad and the take over of America. No media, no politician, no statesman has spoken against this century's Nazis staging a huge conference to attack and destroy America. If this were a KKK conference or some white supremacist conference, they would descend like the locusts that they are.

Hizb ut-Tahrir America (HTA) has indicated that it has transitioned from its covert status to a public phase of operations by issuing an announcement, signed in its own name, that it will host a conference in July 2009 to support the establishment of a Caliphate. The promotional video can be viewed on YouTube. The event, titled "The Fall of Capitalism and Rise of Islam," is scheduled for Sunday, July 19th, 2009, at the Aqsa School in Bridgeview, Illinois.

Hizb ut-Tahrir is "coming out" in the USA. They are feeling welcome under a jihad president. For Atlas readers unfamiliar with this group, here is Wikipedia's entry:

"Hizb ut-Tahrir (Arabic: حِزْبُ التَحْرِير‎; English: Party of Liberation) is an international pan-Islamist, Sunni, vanguard^[2] political party whose goal is to combine all Muslim countries in a unitary Islamic state or caliphate, ruled by Islamic law and with a caliph head of state elected by Muslims.^[3]"

The jihad conference is this Sunday in Oak Lawn, IL (south side of Chicago). Even the local Egyptian Brotherhood sponsored mosque found it “too extreme” – or at least that’s what they are saying to the infidels.

Our plans are to protest across the street from the Oak Lawn Hilton Hotel on the public sidewalks of West 94th Street and South Cicero Avenue.  We expect to move between that corner and slightly down the block, which is across the street from the Oak Lawn Hilton Hotel.

In the morning, we plan to be directly across the street from the entrance to the Oak Lawn Hilton Hotel on the sidewalk near the Charter One Bank (closed on Sunday) on West 94th Street in the morning from about 9 to 11 AM to stand defiant to those HTA supporters driving to the conference (appx. at 4755-4761 West 94th Street area.)  After the 11 AM start of the HTA conference, we will move to the corner of West 94th Street and South Cicero Avenue to address more of the traffic in the area.   The corner of West 94th Street and South Cicero Avenue is at the front of the Charter One Bank public sidewalk area.  It’s address is 9401 S. Cicero Avenue, Oak Lawn, IL 60453; we also plan to be on the side of bank area public sidewalk as well.

We have discussed our specific protest plans with the Oak Lawn Police Department and they have no problem with the exercise of our First Amendment rights to protest against Hizb ut-Tahrir’s conference across the street from the Oak Lawn Hilton Hotel.   We have also advised the Oak Lawn Police Department of the nature and ideology of the Hizb ut-Tahrir organization, in the event there are any confrontations.  We have also advised the Oak Lawn Police Department of our plans to use R.E.A.L.’s small amplified sound system, and they have no problem with that.   In addition, we discussed our plans with Oak Lawn Police Department Commander Tom Simon, who is also fine with our plans.  For our information, he pointed out the Oak Lawn Municipal Code regarding “parades,” which requires a permit if we have 10 or more individuals at our rally.  Right now, we are expecting about 4 to 5.  The Code also defines general standards of conduct for “parades” that might generally apply to a First Amendment protest.

We urge those in the Chicago area, and those with the means to travel to Chicago for the day (as Oak Lawn is a 10 minute shuttle ride from Chicago’s Midway Airport), to join us on July 19 so that this first major public event by the Islamic supremacist Hizb ut-Tahrir is publicly opposed by those of who believe in democracy and who are Responsible for Equality And Liberty.

ACTION ALERT JULY 13: STOP ISLAMIC SAUDI ACADEMY AND ISLAMIC SUPREMACISM IN VIRGINIA

It's back: the Saudi Islamic Academy that teaches jihad, grooms valedictorians cum presidential assassins, distributes hate textbooks etc., will have another hearing for their application to expand the school on state property. Bear in mind that two Christian schools were denied that same request. But it looks like the dhimmi board is going ahead. Make your voice heard.

How in bed is the county with ISA (Islamic Saudi Academy)? ISA Opponents filed a complaint with Attorney General over Fairfax County Dinner Invitation by the Islamic Group. The Fairfax County government distributed invitations to a free dinner to learn about the religion of "peace and harmony" -- Islam. There is collusion between the county government and the Islamists and they operate as one every time the ISA or related issues come up. The Saudis have purchased the Fairfax County government.

Each speaker will be given a short three minutes to encourage the Board to vote it down. If you don't want to speak just go to the podium and say you oppose the approval of the ISA expansion proposal. Please sign up today.

Next Monday is the final hearing on the radical Islamic Saudi Academy’s proposed expansion here in Fairfax County, Virginia. We do not have a single vote right now and one Supervisor, Pat Herrity who self-identifies as a “conservative”, is bobbing and weaving like you wouldn’t believe.

The last hearing brought a huge wave of new support to our campaign to shut down the “academy” and unmask the undiluted Shariah which is being practiced and taught there.

The Fairfax County government has dropped even the appearance of being impartial in this “land use” dispute. The government’s official community outreach office sent out an invitation to a free dinner to learn about the real message of “peace and harmony” of Islam. It was distributed by official government e-mail to churches throughout the county and sent to some vocal opponents of the ISA.

ISA is a national issue. With the cooperation of the local government, radical Islamists have established a madrassah here in the rapidly expanding Islamist enclave of Northern Virginia. Congressmen Frank Wolf (R-VA) and Anthony Weiner (D-NY) have both complained to the State Department about the Saudi-owned and operated “academy” but still no action.

Several national news organizations have talked with us about covering the hearing.

Calls to the Fairfax County Board of Supervisors (see attached) from outside Virginia will help us drive home the fact that the “whole world is watching” and the Supervisors cannot afford to reinforce the stereotype of corrupt “Southern politicians” like those in the movies in which Rod Steiger played the Sheriff.

Revised Islamic History Books at Saudi Academy Face Criticism FOX

The school deleted from its texts some of the most contentious passages, including references to Jihad, killing infidels and hatred of Jews and Christians.

But critics say the books are still "toxic" and contain more subtle references, such as criticism of secular forms of government.

Ali Al-Ahmed, director of the Gulf Institute, which has been pressing the school to make revision since 2004, told FOX News that the textbooks characterize secular governments as "committing unbelief and allowing us to wage war against them."

"So you're teaching American students -- implanting the seeds of insurgency in these people -- and this is very dangerous," Al-Ahmed said.

He added that the textbooks teach girls that they should not aspire to be judges or political leaders and when a girl gets married, she must ask her husband if she wants to leave the house.

The school has stood by its latest revision.

The U.S. Commission on International Religious Freedom says it wants to look at the books but the Saudi government, which funds the academy, won't give the panel a copy.

"We can't figure out what the Saudi government has to hide and why they continually keep these secrets," said Felice Gaer, chairwoman of the commission.

Gaer's panel released a 2008 report commissioned by the U.S. Congress which stated the school's earlier textbooks contained several troubling passages, including one that claims it is permissible for Muslims to kill adulterers and converts from Islam, and another that claims "the Jews conspired against Islam and its people."

Gaer said the State Department should translate the textbooks and determine whether they encourage violence, which would be against the law.

The Islamic Saudi Academy developed new Islamic studies textbooks for all grades after a 2008 congressional report called portions of the previous editions troubling.

But Al-Ahmed said the Gulf Institute is putting together a detailed report on these textbooks that he says will show that the school "has been deceiving' the American people on its real intention".

There is a serious issue related to radical Islamic Wahabbists gaining a greater foothold in Fairfax/Fairfax County. 

On July 13th,  there will be a very important Fairfax County Planning Commission meeting to hear from the public about the Islamic Saudi Academy (ISA)’s request to expand their Shariah based school. 

The ISA wants to replace the current building on the property with a very large two-story structure which will give them 10 times the square footage they have presently. There will be a place to meet and pray for student use only—this will be a mosque.

The Islamic Saudi Academy (ISA), founded, funded, and controlled by the Saudi Government, seeks to expand its school in Fairfax on Popes Head Road.  Currently the ISA has two locations , an upper grade school near Ft Belvoir/Mt Vernon  and a lower grade school in Fairfax.  The Wahabbists want to consolidate all 900 (and growing) students at the Fairfax location. 

At the center of the controversy are the school’s curriculum and the crimes committed by those who attended or worked at the ISA:

• Ismail Selim Elbarasse served as an accountant at ISA for 14 years before he was arrested for videotaping bridge structures including the Chesapeake Bay Bridge in August, 2004. On the day of his arrest, he was also named as an “unindicted co-conspirator” for laundering money on behalf of the American affiliate of Hamas.

• Ahmed Omar Abu Ali, an ISA valedictorian, is serving a thirty-year prison sentence for providing material support to Al-Qaeda and plotting to assassinate President G.W. Bush.

• Abdalla I. Al-Shabnan, Director General (Principal) ISA, was arrested by Fairfax police in June, 2008 for obstruction of justice and failing to report a case of child sexual abuse involving a five year old girl at the Popes Head campus.  Al-Shabnan was fined $500.

§  Mohammed El-Yacoubi and Mohammed Osman Idris, were denied entry into Israel when authorities there found El-Yacoubi carrying what the FBI believed was a suicide note linked to a planned martyrdom operation in Israel.

There is a pattern of anti-American, anti-Semitic and anti-Christian activity at the Islamic Saudi Academy.  The curriculum sanctions murder against Jews, adulterers, homosexuals, and converts from Islam—for all other Americans these would be considered crimes.

Each time the ISA gets caught and there is a new flare-up over the hate taught at the ISA, the school “fixes” the curriculum a little.  In anticipation of this zoning request, Planning Commission hearings and then the full Board hearing , the ISA has once again claimed they have altered their textbooks.  However, while the Islamic Saudi Academy deleted some of the most contentious passages from the texts, copies provided to The Associated Press show that enough sensitive material remains to fuel critics who claim the books show intolerance toward those who do not follow strict interpretations of Islamic Shariah.

Because this school is operated by the Saudi government, it teaches from the Wahabbist Saudi texts provided by the Saudi Ministry of Education.  Just as an American school overseas teaches “American” curriculum such as the Revolutionary War, our Presidents and major holidays--this school teaches Wahabbist curriculum.

• Jihad in the path of God – which consists of battling against unbelief, oppression, injustice, and those who perpetrate it – is the summit of Islam. This religion arose through jihad and through jihad was its banner raised high. It is one of the noblest acts, which brings one closer to God, and one of the most magnificent acts of obedience to God.

·         When is battle jihad in the path of God? … To fulfill an order from God,sacrifice in His path, spread the creed of monotheism, defend the realms of Islam and Muslims, and raise up the word of God. This is jihad in the path of God.

·         Jihad continues until the Day of Resurrection.

Anticipating such alarmist efforts, Dr. Ross McKitrick, the brilliant University of Guelph Economics Professor who helped debunk the Hockey Stick fraudulence of Mann et al, called their bluff in this June 12, 2007 Op-Ed. Why not tie carbon taxes to actual levels of warming? Both skeptics and alarmists should expect their wishes to be answered

Below are the salient points of McKitrick’s proposal. Again, the entire June 12, 2007 Op-Ed can be read here, and his full discussion of the proposal can be evaluated here.

The IPCC [Inter-Governmental Panel on Climate Change] predicts a warming rate in the tropical troposphere of about double that at the surface, implying about 0.2C to 1.2C per decade in the tropical troposphere under greenhouse-forcing scenarios. That implies the tax will climb by $4 to $24 per ton per decade, a much more aggressive schedule of emission fee increases than most current proposals. At the upper end of warming forecasts, the tax could reach $200 per ton of CO2 by 2100, forcing major carbon-emission reductions and a global shift to non-carbon energy sources.

Global-warming activists would like this. But so would skeptics, because they believe the models are exaggerating the warming forecasts. After all, the averaged UAH [University of Alabama-Huntsville] / RSS [Remote Sensing Systems] tropical troposphere series went up only about 0.08C over the past decade, and has been going down since 2002. Some solar scientists even expect pronounced cooling to begin in a decade. If they are right, the T3 tax will fall below zero within two decades, turning into a subsidy for carbon emissions.

At this point the global-warming alarmists would leap up to slam the proposal. But not so fast, Mr. Gore: The tax would only become a carbon subsidy if all the climate models are wrong, if greenhouse gases are not warming the atmosphere, and if the sun actually controls the climate. Alarmists sneeringly denounce such claims as “denialism,” so they can hardly reject the policy on the belief that they are true.

Under the T3 tax, the regulator gets to call everyone’s bluff at once, without gambling in advance on who is right. If the tax goes up, it ought to have. If it doesn’t go up, it shouldn’t have. Either way we get a sensible outcome.

Al Gore invests millions to make billions in cap-and-trade software

Al Gore’s venture capital firm has invested $6 million in a software company that stands to make billions of dollars from cap-and-trade regulation — further fueling controversy that Gore lied about his profiteering from cap-and-trade to Rep. Marsha Blackburn (R-TN) and the House Energy and Environment Subcommittee during testimony in April.

Hara Software sells software to help track greenhouse gas emissions. The market for such software is now about $2.5 billion dollars in size, and is expected to grow by a factor of ten to $25 billion if cap-and-trade legislation is enacted, according to Hara CEO Amit Chatterjee.

Kleiner Perkins, a venture capital firm in which Al Gore is a partner, invested in Hara just last year. Chatterjee told Reuters that,

The flag, royal standard of the Sassanid Emperors which has been repressed since Muslim invaders conquered Iran about 600 A.D., represents Iranian independence and resistance against foreign tyranny, according to Babak Iran, spokesman for the Council of Iranian Cultural Renaissance which is sponsoring the rally. Iranians will gather from 2 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. Saturday at Flag Plaza, Liberty State Park, in Bayone, New Jersey, and are appealing to Americans to join them.
The rally will begin with the flying of the Derafsh Kaviani over the Statue of Liberty; the plane will fly the flag after first tipping its wings above the site of the former Twin Towers in tribute to the Americans who died there at the hands of terrorists on September 11, 2001.
“We’d like to fill the park with 50,000 people, with Americans from all walks of life who support freedom and abhor the repression going on in Iran,” Babak Iran said. He said the group especially hopes for the support of young Americans, since large numbers of young Iranians are braving the wrath of Iranian authorities to stand up for their freedom. He cited Neda Soltan, the 27-year-old Iranian woman who has become a symbol of the movement for freedom after being killed last week in Tehran while peacefully protesting.

ISSUE: The Jewish Community Relations Council (JCRC) of Greater Washington has learned that the BDS Movement (Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions for Palestine) are planning a national day of de-shelving Israeli products at Trader Joe's tomorrow, Saturday, June 20.

BACKGROUND: This de-shelving has already been done in a French supermarket, Carrefour, where members of the BDS Movement raided the market, removed Israeli products from stores, and destroyed the products. They also accosted shoppers and handed them anti-Israel flyers. The French supermarket did nothing. The French government did nothing.

Following their success at the supermarket in France, the BDS movement in the U.S. wrote to Trader Joe's corporate headquarters, demanding that Israeli products be removed from the store (HERE). Thankfully, Trader Joe's has refused to comply with the BDS movement's demands.

Consequently, The BDS movement and some other organizations have now called for a national day this Saturday when their members plan to raid Trader Joe's and de-shelve and/or deface Israeli products. Their web site says, "We are planning a kick-off action: Saturday, June 20th--World Refugee Day. We invite you to organize in your community and deshelve, sticker, boycott, and protest the presence of Israeli products."

The Anti-Defamation League Central Pacific office sent a letter to Trader Joe's and received a response from Jon Basalone, Trader Joe's Senior Vice President of Marketing. He wrote, "We have received a few letters [threatening a boycott] like this via our customer relations email. Our response is that we sell products, and do not use our products as political tools or to make any statements about any political causes. We have no intention of removing any products based on pressure from any group, no matter what they support or don't support. As always, we believe our customers are smart, and they are capable of making decisions about what they purchase."

The JCRC has been in touch with all Trader Joe’s branches around the region and have urged them to remain vigilant, and to thank them for carrying Israeli products.

To date, all fourteen of these complaints have been dismissed, but in the process of defending herself, Governor Palin amassed over $500,000 in legal debt.

The Alaska Fund Trust is the official Palin legal defense fund. There was limited media attention given to the AFT when it was launched. The attention has tapered off, but Governor Palin's legal debt is still there and is still accumulating as her enemies have regrouped and are looking for new ways to hit her with more frivolous complaints.

Carter proudly showed photos of Johns at various stages of his life. Pictures of Stephens senior and junior at similar ages looked remarkably alike. 
"He is doing his job and loving it and somebody who's just full of hatred can just come in and just take his life away and that's really sad for me."

It's also extremely difficult for a young boy to understand. Stephen junior said he and his dad had been talking about this to do this summer

"One thing for sure I knew we were going fishing, in a boat," he said.

10 attorneys general defend Israel

JERUSALEM (JTA) -- Attorneys general from 10 states defended Israel's military action in the Gaza Strip, in a letter sent to U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton.

The letter, sent last month, also condemned Hamas for what it called "war crimes" for its bomb attacks on civilian targets in southern Israel.

The attorneys general wrote that "By intentionally targeting 6,300 rockets against Israel's civilian population, Hamas is guilty beyond a reasonable doubt of a war crime in that it has violated … the Geneva Convention of 1949." The letter notes that the Geneva Convention provides that parties in a conflict must distinguish between civilians and combatants, and civilian and military objectives, and "direct their operations only against military objectives."

"In addition to its war crimes committed against the Israeli civilian population, Hamas has also committed atrocities against the Palestinian civilian population under its control in Gaza by using these civilians as shields for its criminal conduct," the letter continued.

The officials concluded that "Hamas' continuous rocket and mortar attacks on Israel's civilian population are a casus bellum. As in all wars, the appropriate response is not a 'proportionate one,' but one measured to bring about an end to the acts of war."

The America-Israel Friendship League said in a statement that it welcomed the letter by the attorneys general, calling it "a strong rejoinder to those who have castigated Israel over its role in Gaza and used it in an attempt to delegitimize the Jewish State."

Several of the attorneys general have visited Israel through an educational exchange program conducted by the league, which offers American officials the chance to become familiar with Israel's legal framework, security issues and commitment to the rule of law.

The 10 attorneys general represent the states of Colorado, Florida, Kentucky, Louisiana, Michigan, Nebraska, Ohio, Rhode Island, Utah and Washington.

RALLY FOR HUMAN RIGHTS!

I am proud to be part of this wonderfully diverse group "Human Rights Coalition". We are holding a rally May 3rd. Please join us.

Who are we and what are our goals?

1. We are a coalition of organizations and individuals representing a full cross-section of the American people. Americans of every race, color and creed are represented in this coalition of groups -- all have been personally affected by the spread of Radical Islam. As such, individuals from continents across the world and religions from around the world have joined together to say "YES to human rights" and "NO to radical Islam." The religions and ideologies represented include Christians of numerous denominations, Jews, Hindus, Sikhs, Muslims and Secular Humanists.

2. Our mission is to educate the American people to the threat of Radical Islam and Sharia Law, and to challenge those enablers and apologists who would diminish our vigilance in opposing this virulent threat to humanistic values and values of tolerance. With education comes mobilization to action, as noted in mission statement #3, below.

3. Our strategy is to leverage the strengths of our coalition participants: 1) to conduct physical events such as marches, demonstrations, and leafleting; 2) to utilize the Internet to spread our message; 3) to promote media appearances by those who support our cause; 4) to utilize print and video to educate the public and the media to the threats we face; 5) to lobby locally and in Washington DC with letter writing campaigns; 6) to picket media and other outlets which promote the anti-human rights agenda of Radical Islam; 7) to expand our outreach to include educational seminars at local community centers, churches, synagogues and schools.

4. Our group seeks to promote a human rights agenda. The specific enemies of human rights we are struggling against are, in addition to ignorance and apathy, those groups and individuals in the United States and elsewhere who are part of, or supporters of, Radical Islam. These groups include, amongst others, Al Queda, Hamas, Hezbollah, Lashkar-e-Toiba, Deobandi Islamists, the Iranian regime, and other supporters known as Wahhabists (fundamentalist Muslims and Islamists). Additional groups and ideologies that fight against human rights are the “enablers” of Radical Islam. These groups and ideologies include “political correctness,” the mainstream media (which often blame terror attacks on 'South Asians' or 'militants', rather than simply naming the enemy, and which seeks to employ tactics of moral equivalence), university faculties (which often employ known members of terror groups, such as Sami Al-Arian, and Rashid Khalidi, who was a PLO spokesperson, and similarly teach “post-modern” moral equivalence), student groups such as the International Solidarity Movement (which acts as “human shields” and aids and abets Radical Islam); and “human rights” groups, including Amnesty International, Human Rights Watch and the United Nations (which, through ignorance, misunderstanding, paternalism, willful blindness or guilt, fail to appreciate Radical Islam’s threat to decency, tolerance and peace). These “human rights” groups have taken over the English language, claiming they believe in 'peace', when in fact they are often aiding and abeting Radical Islam.

5. This group will be tarred and feathered in the press as being 'Islamophobic', even as we seek to promote the human rights of Muslims. Our group will always show a tolerant and moderate message of human rights; however, it is a simple fact that those who seek to promote the truth about Radical Islam face the claim of being “Islamophobic.” In order to avoid pitfalls others have fallen into, this group will never debate theology. The group’s goal is not to present Islam as inherently one way or another, but rather to showcase the human rights atrocities going on across the world, in order to spur action. If necessary, a legal defense fund will be set up to ensure that our human rights message is seen and heard around the world.

Thousands of people, representing Buddhists, Christians, Jewish, Hindus, Sikhs and other groups, under the banner of Human Rights Coalition Against Radical Islam, will be staging a peaceful Rally on Sunday, May 3rd at 42nd Street and 7th Avenue – Times Square, NY City.

I LOVE AMERICA!

I just came back from city hall awash in the best of humanity. There was a cast of thousands. The most notable factoid? Everyone I spoke to and interviewed was a first timer. Working class Joes who are angry -- mad as hell and they are not going to take it anymore. Lots of moms with their kids. Loads of businessmen. And lots of Atlas readers. What a feeling!
One small business owner complained that with all the Obamanation taxes, she makes 34 cents on the dollar. She said she belonged to a small business association and at their last meeting -- the entrepreneurs were enraged. Even those who voted for Zero admitted to making a terrible mistake. The message -- get government under control and get your teeth out of our neck.

Our founding fathers would be proud.

 

The sidewalks were packed. The cops were screaming at the people to keep moving -- very nasty. I have covered the leftist Islamic rallies for years and they never treat them that way. The Muslims take over the streets. Look at Time Square.

The good people of NY didn't like it -- they yelled back, You don't treat Al Sharpton this way! Classic.

UPDATE: Atlas footnote. I mentioned earlier in the post how belligerent the cops were - a sea change from the days after 911 when I went to those various rallies. The police have become increasingly hostile.

Anyway, on my way uptown on the E train I started chatting with a mom who was sitting next to me. She had two very young, very beautiful little girls with her. We talked on one thing and another - mom stuff - and as I was getting off at my stop, I mentioned that I had just attended an historic rally down at City Hall and this quiet demure woman declared that she too had  just came from there. But I had to bolt the train so I couldn't stay and chat. Earlier today I received this email from that woman (she looked up my blog when I told her hurriedly what I did):

I met you yesterday in the subway.  You said hello to my daughter and told me to watch my girls.  Had you not gotten off, I would have shown you what was in my purse that I was re-reading -- "Atlas Shrugged". It's good to know one is not alone. Reason seems to have left discourse in my daily world -- so I have turned to books.

 

I also noticed that the police were very nasty and scared my two kids.  One kept asking if she was going to get in trouble. They didn't want anyone filming them or photographing them, although all the photographers asked permission.

I don't care what your gripe is. The abdication of American sovereignty, the implementation of statism, the robbing of the national treasury, socialism, Islamic supremacism, Alinsky's rules for radicals, anti-semitism, OIC-UN domination, big government, loss of individual rights, loss of privacy -- GO TO A TEA PARTY TOMORROW.

The systematic leftist smear campaign of Republican leaders is criminal and slanderous. And yet everyone on the right puts up with it in the spirit of what? - free speech? Vile pornographic slander is what it is.

They take our finest people and attempt to destroy them. IT HAS TO STOP. Absent of morality, we must live in a culture where stupidity, anti-Americanism, promiscuity, racism, betrayal, ridicule is heralded. Hollywood personalities, "cultural icons" are in and out of drug addiction centers and applauded for their courage. Music "icons" spew racist bile, degrade women, and denounce America. Debased Democrats defraud the people, perpetrate voter fraud, pay for play, disabuse voters and pat each other on the back - job well done!

They rob, cheat, steal and usurp our Constitution. Democrats with refrigerators full of cash get off scot-free. Presidential candidates cheat on their cancer stricken wives and father children out of wedlock, and the media ignores it while the left yawns. The engineers of the Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac meltdown not only walk away but now oversee the subsequent "solution" - the greatest theft (and generational theft)  of the American treasury in world history. Democrat leaders run gay prostitution rings out of their apartments and if we don't like it - we are homophobic.

The leftwing media - now indistinguishable from the Democrat party - call evil good and good evil. They bow to an unfit, unqualified, America hater in the White House - and vilify anyone who points out that the emperor has no clothes.

This is the most disgraceful act of any president in American history.  Wahhabism is the most evil religion on earth, a religion of hate which the Saudi king spends billions promoting around the world.  To bow to its principal proponent is submission to evil, an announcement of one's true beliefs.

No patriotic American can ever again, upon seeing this picture and understanding its meaning, consider this man to be the legitimate president of his country.

No one has suffered the libelous slings and arrows more than Sarah Palin. Simply because she represents greatness. Yes, greatness. The better the person, the more debased and vile the attacks. Palin represents the right's best hope. This is hatred of the good for being good. Smart, hardworking, accomplished, clear, rational - every attribute the leftopaths lack. She came up the hard way, married a delicious guy she is crazy about (and he her), and has a wonderful family. And this is what riles the left. They hate normal. Despise it - like Dracula hates the silver cross. Her daughter has suffered unmercifully all because she didn't get an abortion - that's what it's all about. The leftopaths are giving our five year olds sex ed in school, handing out condoms in the hundreds of thousands, and offering abortion without parental consent to underage girls, but Bristol Palin is a bad girl.

The Alinksy inspired leftists need to destroy our most effective leaders. Palin is presidential and I would support her candidacy in a heartbeat in 2012. No RINOs for me - not this time. Any future leader - Palin, Bobby Jindal, Allen West, Michele Bachmann, will be crucified in the press.

Basta! Enough is enough. We must stand up and fight, aggressively.

Regular readers here know that we frequently disagree with the slanted journalism at the Anchorage Daily News. The bias appears not only on their editorial page (where even the two "conservative" voices, Dan Fagan and Paul Jenkins, are virulent over-the-top Palin-bashers) but in their news articles. We have no problem calling them out on that regularly, or pointing out such stupidity as linking to Trig Truth blogs, or investigating Trig Palin's parentage themselves.

Now, my question to Mr. Dougherty and Ms. Wright would be: How do these types of comments lead to "a relatively free flow of ideas in hopes of stimulating a vigorous conversation about happenings in our state"?

Some might ask why I don't simply flag these abusive comments via adn.com's built-in reporting features. The reason is that I can't - because I've been banned from their website. Shortly after the new comments policy was announced, I began flagging comments that, in my opinion, violated the guidelines. Within a matter of couple of days, the ADN mods banned me.

(I should note that that adn.com uses a particularly weaselly method of banning commenters. There is no notification, and to all appearances it seems that you can post comments as normal. However, the comments posted are invisible to all but the banned user. If you're wondering if you've been banned, log in to ADN and post a test comment. Then log out and refresh the page. If your comment isn't visible anymore, then you've been banned.)

So my message to Mr. Dougherty, Ms. Wright, and the rest of the ADN staff is this:

Your promises to clean up the poison at adn.com have turned out to be completely insincere. Enough is enough. No more invective about white trash, hillbillies, methamphetamine or crack cocaine use, or trailer parks. No more snarky comments about the purported sex lives of the Governor or her children, such as statements that the Governor was listening to her daughter "breeding" in her own home. No more insults towards special needs children, or speculation about the parenting skills of the Governor and her husband. No more assertions that the Governor is not the mother of her youngest child. These claims all appear on your website on a regular basis and are deeply offensive to all decent people.

Liberals understand protest and invective. When they're angry at you, they might write nasty letters or show up outside your offices with signs. Conservatives understand business and free enterprise, so we'll just target your Alaskan ad revenue.

Let me be clear about what we'll do. Every time one of the worst examples of these comments appears on adn.com, we won't flag it as offensive. We won't even contact you. Instead, we'll cache that webpage and make screen captures. Then we'll look at the Alaskan advertisers who have purchased space next to these vile comments, and pass the messages along to them with a query as to why they are financially supporting such toxic garbage.

Let's start with a few test cases, who I contacted today with the examples given above. I encourage our readers to do the same. We'll expand our database of advertisers as time goes on.

I encourage you to take this seriously. This blog may still be relatively small fry in the blogosphere, though we've quadrupled our readership over the last couple months to several thousand readers per day. If I can motivate only 1% of this blog's readership to get involved, I can put dozens of complaints per day into the inbox of an Anchorage realtor or car dealership. And I won't limit myself to the resources of this site - I'll drag in whatever allies I can, from Team SarahFree Republic. And there are plenty of those people willing to get involved. When you consider that Team Sarah has almost 70,000 members, or that Governor Palin's Facebook page has over half a million followers, you don't want to face the impact if even a tiny percentage of those people get irate with your advertising clients.

Your lawyers and advertising people can explain until they're blue in the face that, due to fine print in your user agreement, the ADN is not legally responsible for slanderous user comments. But you, I, and everyone else knows that you are MORALLY responsible, because this toxic content appears under the banner of the Anchorage Daily News, and right next to space paid for by your advertisers.

A couple of political realities that you should refresh your knowledge on -- despite 7 months of unending savage criticism in the national media, Governor Palin still enjoys the solid approval of over 60% of Alaskans. And even those who disapprove of her are unlikely to be sympathetic to the evil personal attacks that you host on your website. I'd ask you to look even deeper into the subset of Alaskan small business owners who give you the majority of your advertising revenue - do you think they lean more Republican or Democrat? And do you think they like the idea of funding these toxic comments?

Oh, and I forgot to mention - we'll also continually remind the nice folks at McClatchy Corporate of what's going on at your paper. I'm starting with these folks, but hopefully we can expand our mailing list to include others in your corporate hierarchy, especially members of the Board of Directors. And each message will prominently mention, and link, that Pat Dougherty and Julie Wright promised to clean up this problem, but that they still inexplicably allow hate speech to appear under the banner of a McClatchy publication, next to space paid for by McClatchy clients.

We're asking that the ADN follow one of the following options -- either go to a fully-moderated format to ensure that none of this stuff ever appears on your website, or, if you can't do that, follow the example of the Juneau Empire and eliminate reader comments altogether. After all, you already have another discussion forum for readers to exercise their free speech rights.

Mr. Dougherty and Ms. Wright, keep your promises and clean up your website.

Look, I know I have been asking you take action everyday, but that's because of the warped speed the radical Alinskyites are moving at. And I cannot promise you it will get better. Every treasonous act of sedition must be fought - MUST! There is no other way.

The day before yesterday I posted on the latest Obama outrage - the SEDITIOUS OBAMA APPOINTMENT: KAGAN.

Call their Senators and urge a "NO" vote on Kagan's nomination! Flagg Youngblood, Director of Military Outreach, tells me to expect Kagan's vote any day now.

To date, Harry Reid has been delaying the full Senate vote in order to persuade Specter to vote "YES." Specter and Kagan met again last Thursday, and he asked her to answer additional questions in writing. You may have heard he called her prior answers "inadequate."

 The Left wants as many votes for Kagan as possible, particularly ones like Specter's as the ranking Judiciary Committee member, because Kagan will likely be nominated to replace Ginsberg when she steps down.

Dean Kagan has called military recruiting “discriminatory,” “deeply wrong,” “unwise,” and “unjust.” This nominee for solicitor general believes the military should be banned from campus. Kagan fought all the way to the U.S. Supreme Court to invalidate a federal law known as the “Solomon Amendment,” denying qualified students the opportunity to serve our country and infringing upon their constitutional rights.

For those not familiar with the Solomon Amendment, this law was passed in 1995 and signed by former President Clinton and, in essence, denies schools that bar military recruiters from campus any funds from the Department of Defense. The following year in 1996, Congress extended the law’s reach to include funds from the Departments of Education, Labor and Health & Human Services.

In 2002, the Solomon Amendment was strengthened further by interpreting it to require revocation of federal grants to an entire university’s subdivisions (its law school, for example). In 2005, Congress amended the law to explicitly state that “military recruiters must be given equal access to that provided other recruiters.”

Believe it or not, and you can believe it because it is a fact, this possible appointee to the critical position of U.S. solicitor general, Elena Kagan, stood at the forefront of the fight against the Solomon Amendment. Kagan filed amicus briefs with the Third Circuit Court and the U.S. Supreme Court to try to justify institutional discrimination against the military. Fortunately, the U.S. Supreme Court unanimously struck down this argument. The court stated that “the Solomon Amendment gives universities a choice: either allow military recruiters the same access to students afforded any other recruiter or forgo certain federal funds.”

The school deleted from its texts some of the most contentious passages, including references to Jihad, killing infidels and hatred of Jews and Christians.

But critics say the books are still "toxic" and contain more subtle references, such as criticism of secular forms of government.

Ali Al-Ahmed, director of the Gulf Institute, which has been pressing the school to make revision since 2004, told FOX News that the textbooks characterize secular governments as "committing unbelief and allowing us to wage war against them."

"So you're teaching American students -- implanting the seeds of insurgency in these people -- and this is very dangerous," Al-Ahmed said.

He added that the textbooks teach girls that they should not aspire to be judges or political leaders and when a girl gets married, she must ask her husband if she wants to leave the house.

The school has stood by its latest revision.

The U.S. Commission on International Religious Freedom says it wants to look at the books but the Saudi government, which funds the academy, won't give the panel a copy.

"We can't figure out what the Saudi government has to hide and why they continually keep these secrets," said Felice Gaer, chairwoman of the commission.

Gaer's panel released a 2008 report commissioned by the U.S. Congress which stated the school's earlier textbooks contained several troubling passages, including one that claims it is permissible for Muslims to kill adulterers and converts from Islam, and another that claims "the Jews conspired against Islam and its people."

Gaer said the State Department should translate the textbooks and determine whether they encourage violence, which would be against the law.

The Islamic Saudi Academy developed new Islamic studies textbooks for all grades after a 2008 congressional report called portions of the previous editions troubling.

But Al-Ahmed said the Gulf Institute is putting together a detailed report on these textbooks that he says will show that the school "has been deceiving' the American people on its real intention.

There is a serious issue related to radical Islamic Wahabbists gaining a greater foothold in Fairfax/Fairfax County. 

On Wednesday March 18^th, at 8:15pm there will be a very important Fairfax County Planning Commission meeting to hear from the public about the Islamic Saudi Academy (ISA)’s request to expand their Shariah based school. 

The ISA wants to replace the current building on the property with a very large two-story structure which will give them 10 times the square footage they have presently. There will be a place to meet and pray for student use only—this will be a mosque.

The Islamic Saudi Academy (ISA), founded, funded, and controlled by the Saudi Government, seeks to expand its school in Fairfax on Popes Head Road.  Currently the ISA has two locations , an upper grade school near Ft Belvoir/Mt Vernon  and a lower grade school in Fairfax.  The Wahabbists want to consolidate all 900 (and growing) students at the Fairfax location. 

At the center of the controversy are the school’s curriculum and the crimes committed by those who attended or worked at the ISA:

• Ismail Selim Elbarasse served as an accountant at ISA for 14 years before he was arrested for videotaping bridge structures including the Chesapeake Bay Bridge in August, 2004. On the day of his arrest, he was also named as an “unindicted co-conspirator” for laundering money on behalf of the American affiliate of Hamas.

• Ahmed Omar Abu Ali, an ISA valedictorian, is serving a thirty-year prison sentence for providing material support to Al-Qaeda and plotting to assassinate President G.W. Bush.

• Abdalla I. Al-Shabnan, Director General (Principal) ISA, was arrested by Fairfax police in June, 2008 for obstruction of justice and failing to report a case of child sexual abuse involving a five year old girl at the Popes Head campus.  Al-Shabnan was fined $500.

§  Mohammed El-Yacoubi and Mohammed Osman Idris, were denied entry into Israel when authorities there found El-Yacoubi carrying what the FBI believed was a suicide note linked to a planned martyrdom operation in Israel.

There is a pattern of anti-American, anti-Semitic and anti-Christian activity at the Islamic Saudi Academy.  The curriculum sanctions murder against Jews, adulterers, homosexuals, and converts from Islam—for all other Americans these would be considered crimes.

Each time the ISA gets caught and there is a new flare-up over the hate taught at the ISA, the school “fixes” the curriculum a little.  In anticipation of this zoning request, Planning Commission hearings and then the full Board hearing , the ISA has once again claimed they have altered their textbooks.  However, while the Islamic Saudi Academy deleted some of the most contentious passages from the texts, copies provided to The Associated Press show that enough sensitive material remains to fuel critics who claim the books show intolerance toward those who do not follow strict interpretations of Islamic Shariah.

Because this school is operated by the Saudi government, it teaches from the Wahabbist Saudi texts provided by the Saudi Ministry of Education.  Just as an American school overseas teaches “American” curriculum such as the Revolutionary War, our Presidents and major holidays--this school teaches Wahabbist curriculum.

Just a Glimpse of What is Taught

• 15 of the 19 hijackers on September 11th were Saudi--educated in schools just like the ISA with Wahabbist curriculum.

·         Islam teaches that Jews are apes, the keepers of the Sabbath; while the swine are the Christian infidels of the communion of Jesus.

• The Saudi Ministry of Education texts have taught young people that peaceful coexistence with so-called “infidels” is unattainable and that violence to spread Islam is not only permissible, but an obligation.  It encourages violence toward others, and misguides the pupils into believing that in order to safeguard their own religion; they must violently repress and even physically eliminate the other.

• It is permissible for a Muslim to kill an apostate (a convert from Islam), an adulterer, or someone who has murdered a believer intentionally: “He (praised is He) prohibits killing the soul that God has forbidden (to kill) unless for just cause…”  Just cause is then defined in the text as “unbelief after belief, adultery, and killing an inviolable believer intentionally.” (Tafsir, Arabic/Sharia, 123)

• Jihad in the path of God – which consists of battling against unbelief, oppression, injustice, and those who perpetrate it – is the summit of Islam. This religion arose through jihad and through jihad was its banner raised high. It is one of the noblest acts, which brings one closer to God, and one of the most magnificent acts of obedience to God.

·         When is battle jihad in the path of God? … To fulfill an order from God,sacrifice in His path, spread the creed of monotheism, defend the realms of Islam and Muslims, and raise up the word of God. This is jihad in the path of God.

Fairfax County Supervisor Pat Herrity, (Republican) who represents Fairfax, seems to be working to help this school--as are most others.  We need people to come and speak --(and pray!)  Last year we worked on this issue but the focus was the Islamic Saudi Academy upper grade school in Alexandria and the renewal of their lease for the old Mt Vernon High School.  Darci Nelson testified--and did a good job. 

Again, we need people to attend.   Most who attend can just be a presence and pray.  Those who like to testify can do so.  My husband Jim and I will help with testimony preparation.    Last year, when I registered to testify I was the only one.  When we arrived (grp of 5) we were well out numbered.  Jim was viciously attacked by Chairman Connelly (now Congressman) who repeatedly accused him (and the rest of us) of slander.

Wahabbists are colonizing many areas of Northern Virginia.   America’s history can be described as waves of immigrants coming to our shores seeking liberty and freedom.  The Wahabbists come to America and immediately conspire to reduce our liberty and freedom and impose their brutal Islamic Shariah law—and using our very laws against us to do this.    This is the difference between them and other immigrants.

I started scribbling down this quote, and he noticed me, then clarifies: "Don't take this as a slur against the Jewish people. It is a part of the Muslim tradition."

In his explanation of the dhimmis, I asked him a question: "What is done with atheists and agnostics then?" He says: "Atheists do not exist in the ancient time period." and, "People do not have the cognitive ability to be atheists..." and, "Okay, maybe there is 5 atheists." and, "There is no place in the world where atheism was the social norm." And he explained that it is acceptable for Muslims to convert Pagans by force - pagans being those people who have not found any god.

It worked! Better than I could have dreamed, might I add! How can I thank you? How can I thank your readers? They emailed, and phoned, in DROVES!

Everything below is pieced together from memory of the conversation.

I received a phone call from Brian Copp this afternoon. He was courteous, and started the conversation by simply stating that I have brought national attention to the situation in Kiril Petkov's classroom. He said that they have been receiving messages from all across the country in admonishment against the school. I couldn't help but smile. :)

He asked me, why had I not decided to approach the University first? I told him, point blankly - this is not the first time I have been wronged at this University. The first time I had tried to file a grievance report on a professor, I had hit blockade after blockade. I remarked about how well defended these bad professors are here, but the problem isn't simply UWRF - but Universities spanning the country. Why should I bother approaching anyone at the University when I already know the outcome? What good could come from that? What changes will be made that way? So, I told him, this is why I went to the media.

He sounded quiet - surprised at my resolve. He asked me if I would come in and meet with him and E. Craig Morris (assistant to the Chancellor) and discuss the matter. I asked him, what good would that do? You will simply try to make the claim that I misinterpreted Petkov's words when I did NOT.. You will tell me I heard him wrong, or that it didn't happen when it DID. He admits that it is my word against Petkov's word. He asks - so you will not speak with us? I changed my mind. I said, I'll speak to you about the state of the University system, and about student rights for a decent education.

We set a date. He invited me to bring a friend. By friend - perhaps he means my mommy, or a student. Perhaps he's smart enough to know I might consider bringing in a reporter, or a lawyer. I'm not sure yet - but I have a little over a week to decide!

 I just read two highly disturbing posts on the nationally-known blog Atlas  Shrugs concerning one of the professors at your university (see here and here)

As an alumnus (Class of 91), I have to say that, if the allegations >> outlined in both blog postings against Professor Petkov and Professor Bergland are true, education at UWRF has declined since I graduated from there.

When I was a student at UW-RF, I was studying Biology and Conservation. I > wasn't the world's best student, but what I remember was an almost total lack of political ideology in my professors when it came to class  lectures  and the like. When you went to class, you were given both sides of a  story, and were allowed to form your own opinions based on that  knowledge.

Now, sadly, it seems that UW-RF has jumped on the bandwagon of political correctness and liberal ideology, as well as converting an introductory History Class (History 101 - From the Origins of Civilizations to 1500) >> into something more akin to an introductory Theology class. Granted, professors of all stripes will inject their own views in their teachings - this is unavoidable - but to have a professor who is teaching a general >> overview class regarding history inject little anecdotes about Jesus being  a 'clone' and Jews believing it because 'Jews are stupid', or having a  professor of Recent U.S. History from 1945 to the Present showing such >anti-American sentiment as is outlined in Ms Montgomery's e-mails to  Pamela Geller is outrageous.

Until today, I proudly displayed a UW-RF Alumni sticker on the back window of my car. I have removed said sticker because of the embarrassment I feel that a school I was proud of, a school which certainly seemed to value discussion and 'seeing-both-sides-of-the-argument', has sunk as low as this.

Two days after his inauguration, President Obama signed an executive order to close Guantanamo Bay within the year. He just had one small little detail to work out – how to find the world’s most dangerous terrorists a new home.

Unfortunately, that new home might end up being our backyard.

Most other countries have no interest in housing a bunch of crazed Islamic killers (there’s a shock), and recent Supreme Court decisions, along with pressure from left wing groups, make it very possible that detainees’ cases could be adjudicated in the United States.

That is why I introduced a bill which can be summarized in one word – NO.

We will not allow, under any circumstances, the Gitmo detainees to set foot on American soil.

Our brave soldiers have valiantly sacrificed to keep these radicals away from their loved ones and ours – now we may bring them here ourselves? I don’t think so.

Gitmo currently houses nearly 250 enemy combatants from the Taliban, Al Qaeda and other terror groups – including Abd al-Rahim al-Nashiri, implicated in the U.S.S. Cole Bombing, and Khalid Sheikh Mohammed, a mastermind of the 9/11 attacks . They are the worst of the worst. Even many of the ones deemed safe for release have returned to the battlefield – 61 in all, according to Pentagon estimates.

Consider one illuminating example:

Abdullah Massoud was a Taliban terrorist captured shortly after 9/11 and transferred to Gitmo. One thing that made Massoud unique was that he had only one leg. And consistent with the world-class medical care provided to detainees at Gitmo, he was outfitted with a state-of-the-art prosthetic.

In addition to world-class medical care, Massoud also received top-flight legal treatment as well. According to the Heritage Foundation, Gitmo detainees “have received more procedural protections ensuring the fairness of their detention than any foreign enemy combatant in any armed conflict in the history of warfare.”

Indeed, America has arguably treated the Gitmo detainees with more respect than the fringe left ever gave President Bush.

Thus it is not a surprise that a short time after being outfitted with a new leg, Massoud was released. And how did he repay America for his freedom and newfound mobility? By waging more Jihad, of course.

The point is this: There’s no rehabilitation program for terrorists. Should even one Gitmo combatant someday become a free man on American soil the costs could be catastrophic. We have to shut the door now.

And even if Gitmo detainees brought to the US are convicted – by military or judicial proceeding – their very presence here is a magnet for terrorist activity.

Not to mention the enormous strain on the legal system. The trial of the 20th hijacker, Zacharias Moussaoui, took nearly 5 years. And it’s possible critical evidence obtained at Gitmo would not be admitted into a court of law.

There’s also no guarantee that Gitmo detainees, if convicted, would spend their lives in prison. Just days ago an Islamic terrorist who planned an ambitious bomb plot in New York City, Khalid Al-Jawary, is being released after serving only half of a thirty year sentence.

How many more terrorists do we want to set free in America?

The best and surest way to keep our families safe – and to keep Gitmo detainees from completing their unfinished mission of shedding American blood – is to keep them off of our soil. Period.

So call your representative today and tell them to sign onto my bill and to help keep Gitmo killers out of America.

PARK SLOPE FOOD COOP HATES JEWS? ACTION ALERT!

Here is what ran in the most recent issue of the Park Slope Food Co-op Newsletter - The Linewaiter's Gazette. There is a move afoot. Two letters in favor of a boycott of Israel, and the issue was raised at the last meeting.

The Park Slope Food Coop will consider a boycott of Israeli goods at its upcoming meeting on Feb. 24 (being held at a synagogue, no less).

We are going to protest these leftard dhimmis - in Brooklyn of all places. This is inexcusable.

Brooklyn New York: Park Slope Food Co-op Mulls Israel Ban Vos Iz Neias

Brooklyn, NY - Located in the heart of Brooklyn, near Prospect Park, the Park Slope Food Coop is at the nexus of the borough’s many diverse Jewish populations. From the liberal Jews of Park Slope to the Hasidic Jews of Crown Heights, the coop is one of the few places in Brooklyn where Jews of all denominations converge in a shared mission: to buy natural foods at reasonable prices.

But the co-op’s unusual Jewish character is being tested by a proposal to ban products bought from Israel, such as the persimmons and red peppers that are currently in the produce aisle.

Since Israel’s Gaza operation, there has been a rash of campaigns around the world to divest from Israel and to boycott the Jewish state. At Hampshire College this month, a spat ensued when a pro-Palestinian student group erroneously announced that the school was the first American college to divest from Israel. Israeli tennis star Shahar Pe’er was denied a visa to play at a major tournament in Dubai, and Britain has experienced ongoing efforts to boycott Israeli academic institutions.

The proposal at the co-op is not likely to be economically meaningful; perhaps a few shipments of vegetables are at stake. But the debate is taking place in a rare hotbed of diverse Jewish life.

“There are so many Jews who shop there, there are so many Israelis who shop there, there’s a huge number of frum people from all over Brooklyn who shop there,” said Rabbi Andy Bachman of Brooklyn’s largest and most active reform congregation, Beth Elohim, “so my guess is that if it passes, and I want to emphasize that I don’t think it will, they will lose a lot of members.”

Bachman’s congregation is known as a hub for Brooklyn’s progressive Jews, and it has served as a home for the co-op’s monthly meetings, including the one at which the boycott proposal was first raised.

Bachman said he received several e-mails on the subject, a few of which came from congregants asking if the synagogue was taking any action. Bachman said that his only plan is to attend the meeting when the ban is discussed, and place his name on a list of people who would like to speak. He said that if the ban does pass, it is likely that the synagogue will ask the co-op to find a different space to rent for its general meetings.

“It will remain an irrelevant gesture to 5 million Israelis and 2 million Palestinians, but it will make someone in Park Slope feel really good about themselves,” he said. That’s what this is about; it’s about the political purity, which is part of Park Slope’s unique self-absorption.”

Bachman does not, though, speak for all Brooklyn Jews, despite having founded an organization with that name. Carol Wald, a Jewish co-op member living in the area, was one of two people to send letters to the co-op’s home-grown newspaper, the Linewaiters’ Gazette, encouraging the boycott discussion.

“All points of view really need to be heard,” she said. “If we start proposing things like boycotts, it’ll prompt more discussion, and that’ll help educate people.”

Since it was founded in 1973, the co-op has grown into a neighborhood institution with a membership of nearly 15,000. All members are required to work monthly shifts. According to Allen Zimmerman, general coordinator and produce buyer at the co-op, that philosophy attracts people from all walks of life.

“A lot of people are here for the tofu, but a lot of people are here for the beef and pork,” he said.

On the Jewish side, the co-op has its own kosher committee, which vets purchases of kosher meat and other products.

The push for an Israel boycott adds to the co-op’s long history of political action. Nestlé products were voted out by the membership, because of the company’s campaign to promote infant formula instead of breastfeeding, and members rallied around a ban of South African goods during the apartheid regime.

The proposal to boycott Israeli goods was first raised by a woman who gives her name as Hima B., a co-op member of South Asian descent, during the “open forum” at the general meeting in January. She faced no vocal opposition, according to people who were there, and was told to create an agenda item for a general meeting in the future.

They are using "South Asian" for "Muslim" now in the States. I thought the Brits cornered the market on that double talk.

“She spoke for less than 60 seconds, and nobody questioned it,” said Zimmerman, who was in attendance that night, along with an estimated 275 others.

Hima said she has since recruited 10 other members and hopes to put the issue on the agenda for an upcoming general meeting.

“There have been other attempts in the past to call for a boycott of Israeli goods. I don’t think it went anywhere,” she said. A member for nearly five years, Hima was motivated to take action after learning more about the conflict between the Israelis and Palestinians. “Economic sanctions worked in South Africa. Why shouldn’t we ask for an end to practices that are violating human rights?” she said.

Though many members are unaware of the proposal — only the most active go to the general meeting, or read the Linewaiters’ Gazette — Jewish groups and synagogues have been sending e-mails and making phone calls.

Many believe that such a boycott could never pass, given the co-op’s diversity.

Michael Barrish, a 48-year-old Web developer who was shopping on February 17, said the ban is absurd. He believes it would be shouted down by Jews who support Israel, and laughed at by those who find a ban of this nature preposterous. But, Barrish said, “I like being a member of a place in which you can propose what you believe.”

Regarding Wilders – We are revisiting the 30’s. Quisling politicians are turning their backs on their citizens in efforts to appease fascists. That is evident by the lack of response during the recent demonstrations calling for Jews to be gassed and put into the ovens, in conjunction with the sacrificing of dissidents like Geert Wilders. Unless each and every one of us stands beside Geert, loudly raise our voices and demand that our politicians do the right thing – another Holocaust is just around the corner. We simply cannot remain silent and docile any longer – too much is at stake.

Efforts must extend beyond the blogs as much as possible. Each and every one of us must continually write to the Dutch Embassy, and our Government officials, demanding that freedom is protected. Our politicians must be made to understand why Geert Wilders should matter to them. Islam will only get away with this evil if we allow them to. It is up to us to make our politicians accountable to us – not Islamic Fascists. Your readers should watch the movie Sophie Scholl. It will make them realize that what happened to that young girl is being replayed with Geert Wilders.

I fully expect Wilders to be arrested and extradited to Jordan. EU politicians are owned by the Arabs, and they will do anything to appease their Masters. I am truly frightened for the safety of Geert, and the future for the west. \

But, it is imperative that your blog and others are used to direct your readers to action. People are lazy and unless it is made easy for them they won’t take the time to look up addresses. We now know what it was like in the 30’s. Freedom lost, and millions of lives sacrificed in the name of appeasement. G-d help all of us.

The Media is not a Legitimate News Source: ACTION ALERT

The one positive statistic to come out of the Obama raid on race to the White House was that 28% of the American people got their news from the internet, 27% from the news nets and 26% from the cable news nets. This is an important development despite the fact that folks may be going to the The NY Crimes website or other leftarded news sites. It is an important behavioral change that can alter the course of human events if we take proper action.

There is hope that truth and accuracy in reporting still has a shot of getting out to thinking folks. Google can ban and sandbox me but they can't stop you.

It is incumbent upon you to help drive this trend. You see the terrible harm the propaganda media has inflicted upon western civilization. Israel is retaliating in self-defense for years of rocket attacks from Gaza - is this being reported? No, it  has been obfuscated, deleted by media maroons. But the assertion that civilians (whom Hamas hides behind) are being killed is the relentless drumbeat of a pod-like media.

A Love Letter to (and from) Aqsa

We have raised over $1500 dollars for Aqsa Parvez's headstone. G-d bless all of your precious souls. Thank you Her brutally murdered body lays anonymously in an unmarked grave Section 17, plot number 774, in the Meadowvale Cemetery in Brampton.  "No name, no date of birth, no date of death. No nothing". We will right that wrong.

I received the following letter from Shianne, one of Acqu'a close friends. Aqsa had a dream. She loved to live and was brutally murdered because of it. This cannot stand. We must crush the scourge on free people. This heartbreaking letter should infuriate everyone that lives free. Read the letter (emphasis mine).

My name is Shianne Phillips. Im was a really close friend of Aqsa's. I actually went to the hospital the day it happened to see her but it was too late.  I was at her grave yesterday (it was a year ago she died ), and people had been putting flowers and other items on the grave beside hers, because they didnt know which one was hers because the snow was covering the name on the mans plaque  and because hers was unmarked. . .As you know. I actually wanted to start a fundraiser to raise money to get Aqsa a nice headstone that she deserves, but my mom came across your website. Im going to put your website in my facebook name and e-mail it to people that i KNOW will want to donate. It would be really nice to get a headstone that has her picture, date of birth and death and something like " friend to many, loved by all, remembered always "

Aqsa was such a happy go lucky girl. She was always smiling and cheerful despite her horrible home life. She loved to dance and tried to sing lol. She loved photography and fashion and music. She had a lot of friends and people who cared about her and she knew that. No one cared if she wore her hijab or not, people loved her for HER not what was on her head. Her dad would come to our school during school hours and walk around trying to find her, trying to catch her not wearing it, talking to boys or hanging out with "non-muslims". I remember one time we were sitting by the front doors at school when her dad came in, she got up and ran away and hid, I'd never seen that terrified look on her face before .

Im so happy that someone who didnt know her, has such a big heart , to take on such a task and to all the people that are donating, no matter how much it is, it helps so much. When I get paid tomorrow im going to donate some too :)

So on Behalf of Aqsa, I want to say thank you to all of you guys that have been touched by her story and who want to finally lay her to rest in peace and where people can go to pay there respects to her and her memory. So From all of us that love her regardless of knowing her well, or not at all... will let her Legacy live on :)

COVERUP! MATTEL'S ISLAMIC SKULDUGGERY: SWITCHING THE AUDIO

The  whole contradiction between the Mattel audio file and the one that the Moms recorded is a real smoking gun.  Mattel did something to change the audio JUST at the phrase Islam is the Light. Advancing Islamic dawah and then a cover-up.

OUR FINDINGS:
On October 13, 2008, Mattel posted - on their corporate webpage for “Investors and Media” - an audio file which they alleged was for the “Islam is the Light” sound made by the Little Mommy Real Loving Baby Cuddle & Coo  doll.

On November 18, Scott Grayban, a computer and audio expert, received an “Islam is the Light” doll directly from amazon.com, and recorded his own audio file using the methods described below.  He compared it to the Mattel file posted at their website October 13, 2008.

Here are the two audio files:

As you can see, the two files are very similar - close to identical - UNTIL YOU REACH the section of audio for “Islam is the Light.”  At that section, the Mattel file is very different from the Grayban file - and from the earlier parts of the Mattel file itself.  FULL EXPLANATION BELOW:

RECOMMENDATION: Further investigation is needed to determine if the file posted at the Mattel “Investors and Media” webpage was in any way altered from the actual sound made by the doll.  If the sound is indeed different due to being edited or some other manipulation, other consumers and shareholders should ask for a formal investigation by the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) and the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC).  Based on Grayban’s tests, we are submitting a complaint and request for investigation to both FTC and SEC.

Pending those official investigations, you can replicate Grayban’s experiment yourself, and we encourage any owner of the LMRLBCC doll to do so.  We describe here the findings from this single experiment.

Back on November 25th, I ran this post BOYCOTT MATTEL'S BABY DOLL TALKING DAWAH: "ISLAM IS THE LIGHT".

There is a movement afoot!

We're writing to ask for your help with a local citizen's campaign this December.  Our goal is to convince stores to stop selling a Mattel talking doll that says "Islam is the light," a way of inviting someone to join Islam - also know as "Da'wa."  We have started this campaign in Virginia and Maryland, and we need your help to take it nationwide.

The controversial toy is called the "Little Mommy Real Loving Baby Cuddle & Coo" doll, manufactured by Mattel-Fisher Price.  We've put up a website to provide resources for parents to download an information packet to give to store managers.  As parents, we've already started asking store managers to remove the dolls from the store shelves, or to put labels on the dolls stating "Notice: this doll says 'Islam is the light,' an invitation to your child to join Islam." 

THE "ISLAM IS THE LIGHT" DOLL IS STILL ON THE SHELVES

You may have heard about this controversy in the media.  It received a lot of print and TV media attention in October and earlier in November.  Yet - hard as it is to believe - most stores are still carrying the doll on their shelves for the holiday shopping season.  The doll has no warning label letting parents know that it clearly says "Islam is the light."  In fact, we found one store in Virginia where the dolls had the audio disabled AND the front packaging panel (where the name is displayed) ripped off, which made it harder for parents to know that this was the controversial doll.  A few newer dolls are being distributed without the sound file, but most still say "Islam is the light."

Bottom line - parents are still buying the doll RIGHT NOW, taking it home, and may not realize what the doll says until Christmas morning when their child unwraps the package and the doll tells her that "Islam is the light."

MATTEL DENIES EVERYTHING

You'd think Mattel would have recalled the doll after parents complained, after some retailers pulled it in response to parent complaints, and after about twenty Youtube videos went up spontaneously from parents and local TV news stations showing that the doll was really saying "Islam is the light."  But no.  Mattel denies everything.

Mattel has flatly denied that the doll audio files say "Islam is the light," and has stated that parents are hearing the phrase "Islam is the light" because of "power of suggestion."  Mattel even put up their "version" of the doll's audio file on their investors and media webpage, although an actual recording of the doll's audio appears to be VERY different (see the "audio research" link at the link label the link.

JOIN OUR CAMPAIGN TO NOTIFY STORE MANAGERS AND PARENTS

We decided enough is enough - store managers need to get the doll off the shelves, or at least label the packaging for each doll so parents know what they are buying their kids for Christmas.  We've sent a formal complaint to the Federal Trade Commission, and we've put together information packets you can take to store managers to inform them about the doll (including a sheet of 30 labels they can put on the doll packaging).  At their website, we have created a "case" reporting system for each store: just email us basic info about the store you visited and the store manager's response, and we'll put it up so everyone can track the progress in that case.  You can see how we've started to do this at the "Cases" link at their website

If you can visit just one store - just one - you can make a difference. 

This campaign is also a way to educate our communities about the threat of the Islamic legal and political doctrine of Shariah.  Shariah is particularly discriminatory and violent towards Muslim and non-Muslim girls and women.  This unadvertised use of a doll - without any notice to parents in the doll's packaging - to advocate Islam to children is particularly offensive and inappropriate, given the very real risks to girls under Shariah.

In response, on October 7, Mattel, the parent company of Fisher Price, issued a press release on their website stating:

There is a sound that may resemble something close to the word "night, right, or light." To avoid any potential misinterpretation, we have eliminated that segment of the sound file from future production.

Because the original sound track is compressed into a file that can be played through an inexpensive toy speaker, actual sounds may be imprecise or distorted.

    This week, a group calling itself Moms Asking Mattel for Accountability is planning protests outside of several stores nationally, as parents have recently discovered the doll on store shelves while they happened to pass by the doll with a built-in proximity detector. The protests are scheduled for Black Friday, the day after Thanksgiving when many retailers make their money for the year during the Christmas shopping frenzy.

    Boycott Watch contacted Mattel / Fisher Price, but found itself at a brick wall. Juliette Reashor (juliette.reashor@fisher-price.com) the Senior Manager for Public Relations at Fisher-Price was able to send us a statement, but essentially refused to even hear our questions and then tried to derail our questions by asking for our sources, which we obviously refused to reveal.

    Boycott Watch took the liberty of examining the audio posted on the Mattel website and found that the there were several segments of audio, all divided by short moments of total silence, indicating that the audio was in fact most likely recorded in a professional studio or at the very least in professional studio conditions. The last segment of the audio was clearly compressed and sped up audio. While we were unable to totally reverse the compression and pitch changes, we were able to slow down the audio to reveal, in our opinion, that the audio clearly stated "Islam is the light." We posted that audio here, both regular and slowed down, so you can decide for yourself what the audio contains.

    When we examined the audio graphically, there is a definite clear "T" at the end of the word "Light," which you can see circled in the following graphic.

To us, this indicates the audio is not a "misinterpretation" as Mattel states. Rather, we believe that anyone with basic audio editing software and skills will come to the conclusion that this was, in fact, actual words spoken, and that the words "Islam is the light" were intentionally placed in the audio cut.

    Questions now remain: What is Mattel's Quality Assurance procedure for imported and domestic goods? Since Mattel was able to conduct a simple examination of the audio we did, did they in fact examine of audio once a complaint was made? If no, why not? If yes, why did they do nothing? If there was a reason to examine the audio, which there clearly was, why didn't they examine the audio or act upon that examination?

    The Mattel press release stated: "The Little Mommy Cuddle 'n Coo dolls feature realistic baby sounds including cooing, giggling, and baby babble with no real sentence structure. The only scripted word the doll says is "mama."

    Boycott Watch asks our readers to listen to the slowed down audio here and tell us if you hear "Islam is the light."

    Based on our examination of the audio, Boycott Watch believes these words are willfully inserted, not the happenstance of an infinite number of monkeys in a room with typewriters. We also believe that Mattel was the victim of a trick, but one they could have avoided by doing simple quality assurance examinations, and later recalls.

I know not all of us can make it to Pennsylvania next week to help Tom Burnett Sr. stop the re-hijacking of Flight 93, but if anyone needs another reason to try…

Alec Rawls explains, "The crescent memorial to Flight 93 will have the 9/11 date inscribed on a separate section of Memorial Wall that is centered on the bisector of the giant crescent, in the exact position of the star on an Islamic crescent and star flag. Check it out. That is the Sacred Ground Plaza, which sits just above the crash site. Inside the Sacred Ground Plaza is a two part Memorial Wall that follows the flight path down to the point of impact:Somerset Pennsylvania on August 2nd  for the public hearing on the Flight 93 Islamic Crescent Memorial which they still have not altered despite public outcry. The lower section of Memorial Wall (on the left) contains forty “translucent marble” blocks, inscribed with the names of the 40 murdered heroes (including Tom Burnett Jr.)

Next there is a gap marked “trail,” then the separate upper section of Memorial Wall has three more translucent blocks, inscribed with the 9/11 date. (There is one more translucent block on the flight path: the huge glass block that dedicates the entire site. It sits at the upper crescent tip, at the end of the Entry Portal Walkway. That bring the glass block count to 44, equaling the number of passengers, crew, AND terrorists.)

The path that divides the wall into two parts can be seen on the Crescent of Embrace site plan:

Just one of many Islamic and terrorist memorializing features in the planned memorial, and all of it remains completely intact in the Circle of Embrace redesign, which only disguises the giant crescent with a few irrelevant trees.

I figure most people who come out to help us tackle the hijacker will not be able to show up until Saturday afternoon, after the meeting is over. (In the past it has run from 10AM to somewhere between 12 and 1.)

Arriving in the early afternoon is perfect, as the meetings are quite dreary except for our chance to speak during the public comment period at the end. I am looking to secure a place to rally after the meeting (ideally outside the Somerset County Courthouse itself, where the meetings are held).

Anyone can sign up to comment during the public comment period, but for people who live a substantial distance away, that will take extra effort. They will have to either spend Friday night, or driving really early to try to make the 10 o’clock starting time. (Sign up might be allowed later into the meeting, but I wouldn’t count on it.)

Sunday morning can be used for a trip out to the crash site. If it looks like a lot of people will be coming, we might try to arrange something special there too.

Just achieving a show of support is important, as we are expecting that Mr. Burnett’s attendance will bring out the national media. (Fox News gave some nice coverage of Mr. Burnett at his home in Minnesota when we protested at the last public meeting.) If we can manage to bring a rally to this rural corner of  Pennsylvania , that will be an impressive feat that will likely make the national news, and will help introduce the broader public to this enemy plot.

The meeting also provides an opportunity for Tom and Alec to direct news coverage to any allies who have fact-checked our claims. A major hurdle we are facing is a media embargo on checking and reporting the facts. Many stories have reported one or another of our basic claims, about the giant crescent pointing to Mecca, or the 44 inscribed memorial blocks emplaced along the flight path (matching the number of passengers, crew, AND terrorists). The reporters always follow with a quote from some spokesman for the Memorial Project calling our claims a lie, and leave it at that. Faced with clearly contradictory statements of fact, they never bother to simply open up the design drawings and count.

The planned memorial will be the world’s largest mosque, by a factor of a hundred (and there are some REALLY big mosques.) But this isn’t just any mosque. It specifically memorializes the 9/11 terrorists. It is a terrorist memorial mosque.

One terrorist memorializing element (listed in our online petition), is the 44 memorial blocks that will be emplaced along the flight path (matching the number of passengers, crew AND terrorists). One of the mosque features (there are 12 in all) is the year round accurate Islamic prayer-time sundial:

On the left is a traditional Islamic sundial. The gnomon's shadow is just reaching the outer curved vertical, indicating time for Islamic afternoon prayers. On the right is the Tower

of Voices   portion of the Flight 93 memorial. The superficial similarity is obvious, and shadow calculations confirm that, when the tower's shadow reaches the inner arc of trees, it will also be time for Islamic afternoon prayers. This is a very precise structure which could simply NEVER occur by accident.

At about 1PM (when the Memorial Project meeting lets out) Mr. Burnett and Alec Rawls will host a press conference and a rally outside the Somerset County Courthouse (where the meeting will be held).

Saturday evening we will have dinner someplace that can be flexible about our numbers (probably a big buffet style restaurant). Sunday morning we will visit the crash site. (Alec is making arrangements with the Park Service now, in case we get a large turn out.)

The only reason to try to make it to the meeting itself (10AM-1PM) is if you want to sign up to speak during the public comment period at the end. Otherwise the meetings are pretty dreary.

The larger purpose is to make a statement to the national news outfits that Mr. Burnett's presence will likely bring. (Fox news gave Mr. Burnett some nice coverage a couple of months ago.) A substantial rally would help that cause, hard as that is to achieve out in the hinterlands of Somerset, Pennsylvania is a long way to go to make a statement, but the crash site is well worth visiting in its own right. If you've been thinking of making the trip, the weekend of August 2nd would be the time. It is a chance not just to pay a visit, but to in some small way honor the heroes of Flight 93 by following their footsteps and tackling our own hijacker.

Honorcide or honor killing is a murder of a female by her male family member(s), when a female is believed to have brought dishonor on her family. "HONOR KILLER" YASER SAID: TRACKING A COLD-BLOODED MURDERER

I wanted to update you on Atlas's  continuing exclusive coverage of the brutal murder ("honor" killing) of Amina and Sarah Said. Islam, their brother, and the one responsible to luring them back to Texas - only to murdered is MIA. Islam should have a 24 hour tail on him.

I have made a significant contribution to the Crimestoppers fund to find Yaser Said. The larger the pot the bigger the temptation for someone to say something. Give generously (see below)

Family members that speak out live in fear. They are threatened and have been told to shut the f**k. Where is law enforcement? Giving parking tickets?

Yasir Said on the Run 

Patricia Said had taken $5,000 when she split on or about 12/25/2007 with the two girls, Sarah Yaser Said, 17, and Amina Yaser Said, 18, when she returned on or about 1/01/2008, she brought back most of the $5,000.

On the day of the murder 1/01/2008, Patricia Said took Amina from her boyfriends house to meet Yaser at his cab, near the Said rental house, Amina was in the front seat of the cab, they (the girls) never went into the Said house.

On the day of the murder 1/01/2008, Yaser Abdel Said took the Egyptian Passport and the $9,000 in cash and nothing else and then took the girls for a ride in the cab. A ride to their well planned murder.

According to Aunt Gail, Yaser Abdel Said called brother Mohsen, on his cell phone, after the murders to meet for "coffee" (trouble meet to help), the 3 other brothers are tight with Yaser and would help.

The investigation so far has produced few solid leads as to Yaser Abdel Said's whereabouts, and they (cops) fear he may have fled the country, perhaps even to his native Egypt.

Yasir is on the run. Who is secreting him the cash? The Muslim underground is hiding this savage.
