Secretary of State John Kerry yesterday compared Syrian dictator Bashar al-Assad to “Adolf Hitler and Saddam Hussein.” It would be funny if it weren't so scary. Kerry has been the American emissary for the worst dictators the world over. Kerry has been committed to reconciling with the world's state sponsor of Islamic terror, Iran. In the early 1970s, he denounced the U.S. for alleged systematic “war crimes” in Vietnam. As organizer of Vietnam Veterans Against the War, he worked to cut off aid to anti-Communist guerrillas in Nicaragua during the 1980s. And he proposed large reductions in U.S. defense and intelligence spending (source: DTN)
In the summer of 2012, Kerry delivered a speech on the Senate Floor warning of the dangers of “climate change,” which he said was “as dangerous as any of the sort of real crises that we talk about,” including the prospect of a nuclear-armed Iran

More overheated rhetoric from an overextended, over-its-head White House. "Assad is like Hitler: Kerry," by S.A. Miller and Bruce Golding for the Associated Press, September 2:Secretary of State John Kerry yesterday compared Syrian dictator Bashar al-Assad to “Adolf Hitler and Saddam Hussein” — as lab tests proved the sarin nerve agent was used to kill nearly 1,500 civilians.
“Bashar al-Assad now joins the list of Adolf Hitler and Saddam Hussein who have used these weapons in time of war,” Kerry told NBC’s “Face the Nation.”
Kerry called the attack an “affront against the decency and sensibilities of the world.”
“In the last 24 hours, we have learned through samples that were provided to the United States that have now been tested from first responders in east Damascus, and hair samples and blood samples have tested positive for signatures of sarin,” Kerry said.
He offered no proof, however, that Assad set off that sarin.
