Here is how interfaith dialogue works. You convert to Islam. If you choose not to convert, then you subdue yourself in submission to the supremacism of Islam. Not okay with that? Well, then you are a racist-islamophobic-anti-muslim bigot.
We see Muslims take over churches on a daily basis. Here in New York, synagogues generously turn over space for Muslims to pray. That is submission to the supremacism of Islam.
There is no reciprocity. There is no mutual respect.
The owner of a Malaysian resort who allowed Buddhists to use a Muslim prayer room has been arrested on a charge of defiling a place of worship, police said today. The surau at a resort which was used by non-Muslims in a religious ceremony is expected to be demolished after investigations are completed.
The Muslim community was up in arms.
Police have received six reports from various groups concerning the management of a resort in Sedili Besar, Kota Tinggi who had allowed the surau at the resort to be used by Buddhists to perform a religious ceremony.
"The police now want the people to refrain from making any speculation on the matter while bloggers are urged not to aggravate the situation through the blogs which could anger the people," he told reporters at the Johor Contingent Police Headquarters (IPK), here today.
Of course the owner apologized.
“We would like to apologise to our Muslim brothers and sisters for the actions of a certain Buddhist group from Singapore in having their meditation session at the surau of a resort in Kota Tinggi,” he said in a statement today.
The chief high priest was referring to a viral video clip depicting a group of Buddhists led by a monk chanting inside a surau of a resort in Tanjung Sedili Besar.
The video showed the group sitting on mats while facing a picture of Buddha , which was placed on a table underneath Quranic verses that were hung on one of the wall

JOHOR BARU: The surau in the Tanjung Sutera Resort will most likely be demolished after investigations are completed.
Johor Religious Council adviser Datuk Noh Gadut said the surau, where a group of Buddhists from Singapore had gone in for chanting last Saturday, was not built with the approval of the Johor Religious Department.
"The Johor Religious Department cannot interfere with police investigations yet, but we will conclude our investigations within a month and hand over our report to the Johor Fatwa Committee," Noh told reporters after briefing the Sultan of Johor Sultan Ibrahim Sultan Iskandar earlier.
"There is a very strong possibility that the building, which was not built according to specifications, will be demolished," he said.
