RED BANK, NJ (July 1, 2013) – The American Tea Party Congress, an association of Tea Parties, conservatives and affiliated grass-roots organizations, is pleased to announce that Atlas Shrugs founder Pamela Geller has accepted an invitation to join the ATPC Board of Advisors.
Geller is a nationally acclaimed conservative writer and pundit who promotes awareness of the threat to the U.S. and Western civilization posed by Islamic jihadism. Recently, Geller and Robert Spencer (founder of Jihad Watch) were denied entry visas by the United Kingdom in retaliation for their outspoken opposition to Muslim extremism.
“We deeply respect and admire the yeoman’s job Pamela has been doing.” said interim ATPC president David Larsen. “In an age and a culture dominated by politically correct cowardice, she is a beacon of enlightenment and hope. The ATPC will be that much stronger for the experience and wisdom she offers.”
Larsen noted that while Geller’s national prominence will draw attention to the need for further unity among grass-roots organizations, groups that are members of the ATPC will be in a position to offer their collective support for projects and events sponsored by Ms. Geller or her website.
