A happy child's face on mass murder
Exclusive: Pamela Geller blasts 'enemedia stooges' for advancing jihad propaganda
Read the rest here. The war in the information battle-space is raging on the “meaning of jihad,” as the jihad rages in Nigeria, Bangladesh, Ethiopia, Israel, Europe, India. How Orwellian.
Slaughter? What slaughter? Nothing to see here, folks.
Enemedia stooges are willingly playing patsy to the unintentionally comical but deceitfully dangerous Hamas-tied Council on American-Islamic Relations, or CAIR, #MyJihad campaign.
The New York Times has put its special spin on the dueling jihad campaigns, promoting Hamas propaganda to promote Hamas-CAIR’s bizarro fiction campaign versus the real jihad ad campaign sponsored by my organization, the American Freedom Defense Initiative, or AFDI.
But it’s not just the Times. NPR is also hard at work using our taxpayer dollars to advance the propaganda of jihadists – along with NBC, Fox News and other big media outlets.
Big media stooges are running fallacious “news” stories promoting Hamas-CAIR’s campaign, while Hamas-CAIR uses women and children as human shields, taking a page from its mother organization, Hamas. CAIR’s #MyJihad ads, claiming that jihad is getting in your exercise and making friends, is a whitewash of the Islamic doctrine that sanctions murder and subjugation of unbelievers. The fact that some Muslims don’t associate jihad with violence does not cancel out the fact that so many do.
I will go toe-to-toe on this matter, because it’s an attempt to disarm the American people.
Yet the Goebbels-style ad campaign of Hamas-CAIR is getting enormous support from an outrageously compromised NPR. You can put a happy child’s face on mass murder, but it’s still mass murder.
Our campaign makes the point that minimizing jihad is minimizing mass murder and cultural annihilation. But NPR’s Monique Parsons goes overboard in her fervor to please Hamas in America (CAIR). She hits the ground running in her first sentence about “an advertising battle going on over the Arabic term jihad.” It’s not that “Arabic” is wrong, but it’s misleading. Jihad is a religious mandate, and it’s an Islamic term, it is a religious term. Arabic is the language of Islam.
Parsons said our ads “present jihadists as violent.” Uh, no, they are violent. They are killing non-Muslims and more secular Muslims at mind-numbing speed. Counter-jihad blogs cover the mass slaughter, subjugation, oppression and misogyny every day from Nigeria to Thailand, Ethiopia to Bangladesh, Egypt to Zanzibar, Mali, Malaysia, Iran, et al.
Parsons went on to make the NPR segment about the duel meaning of jihad. Tell that to the hundreds of millions of victims of jihadi wars, land appropriations, cultural annihilations and enslavements. She happily goes along with Hamas-CAIR’s ruse of using women and children as human shields as a prop for jihad. The tragic irony here is that countless women and children are victims of the jihadist war on innocent civilians. The horror.
Here again we see the poisonous fruit of the left’s primitive motives: They work only off emotion and not reason. Parson feels and thus acts, despite the body count. Parsons never mentioned CAIR’s unindicted co-conspirator status in the largest Hamas funding trial in our nation’s history or that the U.S. government named them a Muslim Brotherhood proxy in that same criminal court case. Many members of their leadership are serving jail time for terror-related offenses. But in Parsons’s way of thinking (I should say feeling), this is clearly unrelated to a news story on jihad. Got that?
This is astonishing. And it just goes on and on. Beth Parker, reporter for Fox 5 in Washington, D.C., did a news segment on our counter-jihad ads in Washington and didn’t contact me or my colleague, Robert Spencer, or anyone on our side for comment.
No, the only opinion Parker got is from Hamas-CAIR, although Parker never mentions the bizarre and bogus CAIR jihad campaign running in Washington, which was the impetus for our campaign. How could she avoid them? Our ads are running in the same stations as the CAIR ads. It’s why they are there. Is Parker clueless or complicit?
Incompetent tool is what she is – the quintessential useful idiot. Hamas-CAIR is funded by Wahhabi dollars ($50 million here); let’s hope she sold herself for a fat check like so many of her colleagues. Parker gave CAIR’s Islamic supremacist executive director, Ibrahim Hooper, run of the mic to spew his libel and defamation.
