"First Place: Henson's picture shows a group of men marching the dead bodies through a narrow street in Gaza City. The victims, a brother and sister, are wrapped in white cloth with only their faces showing"
Have you seen the "winners" for "the defining images of the world in 2012" -- the 'World Press Photo Awards'? Half of them are ....... Gaza. Yes, more subtle and not so subtle anti-semitism. Pathetic. I left a comment on the Daily Mail article, which, of course, they didn't run. So many photos of "Palestinian" victimhood, some staged, but all promoting a blood libel. Mind you, there is not one photo of Jewish suffering, despite the thousands of rockets targeting schools, homes, nurseries. Furthermore, there are children dying in Syria, Nigeria, Indonesia, Ethiopia, Bangladesh, etc., but you you don't see those images. Hundreds of jihad wars across the world, but no shots of that.
So many are stricken with this Jew-hating obsession, it's a sickness of the soul.
Here is a comment from a former prize-winning photographer of the winning photograph:
This WP Photo of the Year looks like it was taken by Annie Leibovitz. As a photoreporter with more than 40 years experience, including Gaza and the West Bank, there are too many things wrong with this photo to be a convincing document. The conflicting light sources, the likes of which I've never seen in Gaza refugee camp alleys, for starters. These funerals were always chaotic and full of rage - this one seems tranquil to the point of being posed. I'm convinced that this is another example of Pallywood, with the photographer duped into being used as a propaganda tool. It's sad that there are dead children, but if Hamas would stop attacking Israeli civilians with rockets and mortars, Israel, which no longer occupies Gaza and in fact supplies it with electricity, fuel, medicine, and food, would have no need to counter attack. The fact that Hamas launches its attacks from civilian homes guarantees them fresh martyrs for their propaganda mill and their quest to destroy Israel. The whole thing is pure propaganda.
