More erroneous coverage of our precedent-setting ads in the battle for truth, justice and freedom. Oh, and truth is not "inflammatory"; it is what it is. A is A.
"New ‘Anti-Jihad’ Ads To Appear In New York City Subways Featuring Twin Towers" CBS News
Here they go again, misrepresenting our message. I did not say Muslims, I said jihad. And any war on innocent civilians is savagery.NEW YORK (CBSNewYork/AP) – The group that posted inflammatory ads at New York City subway stops and Metro-North stations earlier this year plans to put up more ads.
Pamela Geller with the American Freedom Defense Initiative said the group has purchased space beside the roughly 220 clocks that hang above subway platforms in stations throughout the city.
The ads depict the twin towers engulfed in flames and a quote attributed to the Koran: “Soon shall we cast terror into the hearts of the unbelievers.”
“I hope that these ads will increase awareness and start a dialog,” Geller told 1010 WINS. “Clearly, there is a prohibition on discussing this matter and those of us that dare to speak of it are marginalized and demonized and it’s sort of killing the messenger.”
The group’s earlier ads, that were displayed in 10 stations in September, equated Muslims or Palestinians with savages.
How can they be reviewing my request? The ads are already going up on NYC Metro platforms on Monday.“In any war between the civilized man and the savage, support the civilized man. Support Israel. Defeat jihad,” the ad said.
Transit officials said they were reviewing the request. The MTA had approved similar ads from the group at Metro-North Railroad stations.
Those ads read: “It’s Not Islamophobia, It’s Islamorealism, associating Islam with 19,250 deadly terrorist attacks carried out by extremists since 9/11.
CBS gets it wrong again. These quran ads are being posted on NYC Metro on Monday, not the islamorealism ads. They ran back in October.
