OMG, I love them!

Bless them and keep them safe. We owe them everything. A cover of "Call Me Maybe" performed by US Army Infantry Soldiers in Kunar Province, Afghanistan. Original by Carly Rae Jepsen. Directed, filmed, and edited by the troops as a morale boost for our Soldiers here and our families/FRG back home. See you in just a few more months, and thanks for all your support!

I have attached a list of organizations sent to me by Jessica Allen, wife of Wounded Warrior Chaz Allen (above).  All I can say is what a woman and what a hero!  At my Thanksgiving day table, my family will give thanks for Brave American families such as theirs that exemplify the sheer will and great spirit of the American Warrior!  It was an honor to receive Jessica's email.       
 
Jessica was kind enough to send this list to me so that those of us who want to support organizations that truly do make a difference in our Heroes lives, we would have a good guide.  I know there has been some controversy regarding Wounded Warrior Project recently, but in Jessica's words "they are very visible at the hospital."  I understand too they are having second thoughts regarding the "gun" controversy!  
 
I would add to her list http://www.buildingforamericasbravest.org/, an organization of the Stephen Siller Tunnell For Towers Foundations and the Gary Sinise Foundation.  They just completed a smart home for Marine Sgt John Peck from the state of Illinois and this is one of several! 
 
There is one organization I would like to highlight and this news comes from Skip Hermann here in Illinois:  www.woundedheroesfund.net   
In Skip's words "97 cents of every dollar goes directly to the troops!!"  ( 4 yrs in a row now !!) 
What an outstanding organization, it really doesn't get any better than that!
