Ha! The left continues to get whacked by reality, despite their refusal to recognize reality. They would rather expire than report with truth and accuracy. Cooper's self-love did not appeal to viewers. Blech.
Will he be replaced with a voice of reason? Of course not! But FOX will get bigger, stronger and more influential.
The graveyard is getting crowded.
Anderson Cooper is leaving his day job.
The newsman's daily talk show, Anderson Live, will not return for a third season due to discouraging ratings, the syndication arm of Warner Bros. TV decided, according to The New York Times.
"I am very proud of the work that our terrific staff has put into launching and sustaining our show for two seasons," Cooper, 45, said in a statement. "I look forward to doing more great shows this season, and though I'm sorry we won't be continuing, I have truly enjoyed it."
The cancelation, set to take effect after the summer of 2013, is more of a testament to the market than a reflection on the veteran journalist, an anonymous studio executive explained to The Times. Even changes to the show for its sophomore season, including a live format and the introduction of co-hosts, did not increase its popularity.
