Check out my column this week at WND on a pro-jihad lawmaker in California. Part of the problem with these quisling lawmakers is that there is never any blowback when they stand with the enemy. The media has become so sharia-compliant that these public officials are lauded when they volunteer to stump for the Muslim Brotherhood agenda. And no one enjoys false praise more than a politician.
The few politicians who dare to stand for freedom and the equality of rights under the law (anti-sharia) are demonized, marginalized and rendered radioactive by a sharia-compliant media.
Exclusive: Pamela Geller challenges lawmaker confusing the terms 'jihad' and 'Muslim'
Fringe, uber-left Rep. Mike Honda, D-Calif., is calling for a boycott of mass transportation systems in New York and Washington, D.C. Why? Because of my ads that are running in both, which say, “In any war between the civilized man and the savage, support the civilized man. Support Israel. Defeat jihad.” That’s enough for Mike Honda to want people to boycott the subways altogether.
Remember, hundreds of anti-Israel posters ran in every major city in the United States, and the media did not so much as yawn. Where was Mike Honda then? Those ads ran in his state. Where was his righteous indignation then? But now that I have placed 10 little ads in the New York City subways and four in those of Washington condemning jihad, heads are exploding in the media and leftist political circles.
This is the era of the modern barbarian: supporting jihad, the most vicious and brutal war doctrine on the face of the earth. Honda wrote in the Huffington Post (where else?): “This week felt like a throwback to the 1950s, to McCarthyism and fear mongering. I, and countless others, spoke out in defense of Muslim Americans who were feeling attacked by ads on New York City, San Francisco and Washington, D.C. public transit systems that compared Muslims to ‘savages.’”
Honda says: “The logical and reasonable inferences here are the following: jihad (read: Muslim, due to etymology) equals savage. Muslims, thus, are savages.” Etymology? What is he talking about? “Jihad” and “Muslim” are not etymologically related. And he goes on: “Now, of course, there are people who have done violence using the name of jihad, and any violence of this nature – or any nature – should absolutely be deplored and abhorred. But the ad didn’t make this distinction and instead assumed that all things jihad – ergo, all things Muslim – is ‘savage’ and must be defeated.”
In reality, the idea that my ad impugns the character of all Muslims is a fiction invented by enemies of free speech such as the Hamas-linked Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR). The ad mentions jihad. It doesn’t actually mention Muslims at all. It is asking people to oppose those who commit jihad attacks against innocent civilians and those who celebrate the attackers as heroes. All jihad terrorists are Muslims, but not all Muslims are jihad terrorists. So why should any Muslim who opposes jihad feel his character impugned?
Honda also makes the utterly hysterical claim that “it’s easy to understand why nonviolent and patriotic Muslim Americans in Washington, D.C., New York City and San Francisco may have been too frightened to ride public transit and, in fact, found other transport out of fear for life.” This is bitterly ironic in the wake of the violent Muslim riots that just recently victimized innocent people worldwide, amid demands that the United States criminalize criticism of Islam. (Mike Honda would probably be fine with that.) Reading Honda’s piece, you’d almost think that it was non-Muslims rioting and brutalizing innocent Muslims. That’s the reality-inverted world the left lives in today.
Mike Honda’s notorious anti-national security sentiments are well-known. He has long been a shill for Islamic supremacist forces in the U.S. He has appeared with Islamic supremacist leaders and harshly criticized the hearings held by Rep. Peter King, R-N.Y., on jihad activity in the U.S. We are facing opposition from elected officials who have aligned themselves with the Muslim Brotherhood in the U.S. and with those who would undermine national security. I hope Honda’s constituents realize on Election Day how he is carrying water for Islamic supremacist enemies of free speech.
Honda has revealed himself as another subversive tool working to undermine our most very basic freedoms. We ought to have a look at Honda’s financing. How much comes from Muslim Brotherhood groups? Also, you may wish to call his Campbell, Calif., district office toll-free at (888) 643-4715 and politely read him the First Amendment, followed by the entire Constitution. Tell him there will be a pop quiz at the end of the call.
