Major Hassan was a self-proclaimed soldier of allah. Hasan, the Fort Hood jihadi, is a hero to jihadists the world over -- celebrated and lionized by terror groups and leaders. Major Muslim Hasan distributed Qurans and his card, calling infidels to convert to Islam on the day of his jihad (dawah). He wore the garb of the shaheed on the day of his jihad. He war-cried "allahu akbar" when he opened fire on our troops in cold blood.
Obama refuses to allow Fort Hood to be labeled terror. Instead, it is "workplace violence," which means that the victims and their families are unable to collect combat pay. Who is more deserving of combat pay? We must right this horrible wrong by a feckless and reckless commander-in-chief.
Fort Hood victims see similarities to BenghaziMajor Nidal Hassan came out as a jihadi on grand rounds. The other doctors who worked with him would whisper among themselves that he was a ticking time bomb, but were reluctant to report him lest they be labeled racistislamophobicantimuslimbigots.
Listen to a psychiatrist’s recollection of a lecture Hasan gave (a “grand round” is the term for it) when he was a medical resident at Walter Reed. “It freaked them out.” Normally, a lecturer focuses on a particular disease or disorder and recent research or treatment options. Instead, Hasan reportedly harangued the doctors and staff about what the Quran taught about non-believers going to hell, being scalded, beheaded, etc. Another version of the story I heard quoted a source as saying that several in the audience suggested afterward that Hasan might be a shooter someday.

November 14, 2009: President Barack Obama urged Congress to hold off on any investigation of the Fort Hood rampage until federal law enforcement and military authorities have completed their probes into the shootings at the Texas Army post, which left 13 people dead. On an eight-day Asia trip, Obama turned his attention home and pleaded for lawmakers to "resist the temptation to turn this tragic event into the political theater."United States Army Major Nidal Hasan told a radical cleric considered by authorities to be an al-Qaeda recruiter, "I can't wait to join you" in the afterlife, according to an American official with top secret access to 18 e-mails exchanged between Hasan and the cleric, Anwar al Awlaki, over a six month period between Dec. 2008 and June 2009. Intercepted e-mails deemed innocent by the FBI detail possible terror relations. "It sounds like code words," said Lt. Col. Tony Shaffer, a military analyst at the Center for Advanced Defense Studies. "That he's actually either offering himself up or that he's already crossed that line in his own mind."
Other messages include questions, the official with access to the e-mails said, that include when is jihad appropriate, and whether it is permissible if there are innocents killed in a suicide attack. "Hasan told Awlaki he couldn't wait to join him in the discussions they would having over non-alcoholic wine in the afterlife," the official said.
It wasn't political theater. It was an act of war.

Obama's DoD report downplays Islamic role in Fort Hood jihadi attack
Devout Muslim Hasan hated America, hated the troops, proselytized his co-workers, planned his jihad and completed his mission. Despite this, the Department of Defense did nothing.
His business card says, SoA (soldier of Allah) -- a story I broke at Atlas.

The Fort Hood shooting was jihad. Proud jihad. Unabashed jihad.That is the standard. Instead of reversing the ridiculous restriction on our military from carrying firearms on our bases, our servicemen and women are advised to make use of three ring binders ............. or any other "makeshift weapon."
