No, I am not referring to the obvious savages who plague civilized peoples. I am talking about use of the
word savage.
Has anyone else noticed the sudden proliferation of the use of word savage when describing jihadists? Hillary Clinton has adopted it, rather frequently. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton called the Libyan militants a "small and savage group," and she praised Stevens, who began working in Libya during the revolt against Moammar Gadhafi. The buffoonish and clueless Bull O'Reilly used it to describe the jihadists on Friday night's show.
I only point this out because when I used it in my NYC subway ad back in September 2011, I had to sue the city of NY to get the ad up. When I used it in San Francisco, the SF government took disclaimer ads out next to mine condemning the use of the word savage and saying no group should ever be called that.
Look like I started a savage trend here, folks.
Were the jihadists who tortured and sodomized Ambassador Stevans savages?
The good news? A year and a half after our lawsuit and a month after our historic legal victory in the New York courts, our ads will be going up in the next two weeks.
And they are going up in Washington, DC as well. Help us run these ads, contribute. Now.
New York MTA Prepares to Post Ad Critical of Islam as Muslims Across the Globe Riot to Suppress Free Speech AFLCFederal Judge Issues Final Ruling Striking Down Speech Restriction and Ordering the New York MTA to Display Pro-Israel/Anti-Jihad Bus AdvertisementIn the wake of protests, riots, murder, and mayhem perpetrated by Muslims who claim to be angered by a YouTube video that was critical of Islam, the Metropolitan Transportation Authority of New York (MTA) is making final arrangements – by order of a federal judge – to display an advertisement on its buses that is critical of savage acts committed by jihadists against Israel.
September 11, Americans all across the nation paused to remember that fateful day in 2001 when Islamic terrorists, guided by fundamental principles of sharia-mandated jihad, attacked U.S. soil and killed thousands of innocent American civilians. The nation took a moment to remember those who lost their lives to this brutal and cowardly attack and to honor those brave men and women who responded with courage and valor, including those men and women who are currently serving in foreign lands to ensure that our nation remains the “land of the free.”
Today, Americans are waking up to news stories that Muslims in Egypt and Libya are engaging in criminal acts of violence, including murder, and desecrating the American flag in protest to a video critical of Islam that was created by an American citizen in California—a video that is protected by the First Amendment of the U.S. Constitution. While the response by the Obama administration was critical of the violence, it noticeably did not defend the American citizen’s right to freedom of speech.
