The violent Muslim riots continue despite the enemedia's efforts to quash the biggest story of the year (or four years).
Obama's childhood home was Indonesia, where he was a "street kid" in the streets of Jakarta and went to madrassa and studied quran. Obama spoke to Nicholas Kristof of The New York Times of those halcyon days. Obama recalled the opening lines of the Islamic call to prayer, "reciting them with a first-rate accent." Mr. Obama described the call to prayer as “one of the prettiest sounds on Earth at sunset."
Is it any wonder Obama is promoting the sharia?
Indonesia protesters want filmmaker punished in US September 18, 2012 09:09 AM ES
MEDAN, Indonesia — Indonesians are calling for the producer of an anti-Islam film to be punished by the United States.
About 200 protesters torched an American flag and tires Tuesday outside the U.S. Consulate in the country's third largest city of Medan. Some unfurled banners saying, "Go to hell America" and demanded Washington punish the makers of the film.
About 100 students protesting in Makassar city called for the death penalty for filmmaker Nakoula Bassely Nakoula. American leaders have widely denounced his message, but U.S. free-speech rights mean his film is not considered a crime there.
The U.S. Embassy in Jakarta increased its security after some protesters hurled rocks and Molotov cocktails there on Monday.
The Antara news agency said protests also occurred in Gorontalo in Northern Sulawesi and Palu in Central Sulawesi.
In Palu, about 50 protesters stopped in front of tightly guarded KFC and Texas Chicken outlets, forcing customers to leave and management to close the stores, it said.
They burned flags and tires while calling on the customers to boycott products from America and its allies.
