Suneel (Samuel) Masih, an orphan, disappeared on August 19. His body was found two days later in a remote area. Some internal organs removed, probably for the black market. His face disfigured with acid. Police Officer confesses to never having seen "such a murder." The Christian community calls for justice, but so far not even an investigation has been opened.(here)
Following the brutal beating and arrest of an 11-year-old girl with Down's Syndrome for blasphemy under the sharia, a 12-year-old Christian boy was tortured and burned for blasphemy as well. The global firestorm (finally) has begun over the monstrous application of sharia law. The boy's lips, nose and belly were cut off and he could hardly be recognised, as his body was badly burnt, relatives said. The 11 year old mentally challenged girl who is still under arrest for blasphemy:
“She was assaulted and in very bad shape. She had bruises on her face and on her hands,” he added, referring to an attack by a mob in her village on the edge of Islamabad after she was accused of blasphemy... (more here)Quite possibly in some clinical state of shock.
Muslim Brotherhood groups like Hamas-CAIR have responded to the world outcry to the brutal sharia and condemned the spine-chilling beating and murder. It is time for Muslim groups to condemn the sharia that sanctions and calls for the death penalty for "blasphemy" (offending Islam). Instead, Hamas groups like CAIR say this has nothing to do with the sharia. Diabolically clever. This is taqiyya -- complete deception. It is in complete accordance with the sharia.
CAIR: Human rights violations like this must be condemned and challenged not only because of their great injustice against vulnerable people, but also because they are falsely committed in the name of Islam.
"It is reported that an angry mob played a role in inciting this arrest, and we ask Pakistani officials to investigate those circumstances. The reports of media and human rights organizations depict actions by local officials and extremist leaders that are unjust and contradictory to Islamic teachings.
Thousands are sentenced to death for blasphemy by sharia courts all across the Muslim world. Instead of working to expose and destroy these inhumane laws, they lie to cover them up. Why don't Muslim groups denounce blasphemy laws? Why don't Muslim groups condemn the sharia? Why don't Muslim groups condemn the violence and calls for murder when cartoons offend their Islamic supremacist sensibilities? Why don't Muslim groups denounce and condemn attacks on writers and cartoonists like Lars Vilks, who will be speaking at our World Freedom Congress on 911? Because it is Islamic law.
A violent Muslim mob spent hours blocking a main highway into the Pakistani capital, Islamabad, demanding the death penalty for a mentally disabled child, according to a Pakistani human rights activist...(here)
"Pakistani Muslims: Disabled 11 yr-old Christian should be punished" by Jibran Khan, Asia News, IT
Muslim leader: no one can desecrate the Koran.
slamabad (AsiaNews) - If guilty of blasphemy, the child should be punished according to the laws of the country. This is a widespread view among Muslims in Pakistan, whether laymen or religious leaders, regarding the tragedy of an 11 year old Christian girl who is disabled and was recently charged under the "black law". To date the child is being detained under lock and key in a reform school - pending a full hearing for release on bail - for desecrating a few pages of a book that conatined verses from the Koran (see AsiaNews 19/08/2012 An 11-year-old disabled Christian girl arrested for blasphemy, 300 families flee). Interviewed by AsiaNews on the issue scholar Mehmood Ahmed Khan, a member of the Islamic Ideology Council (IIc), said that "Rimsha is a minor, but if she is mentally stable and committed the crime, child or not she should be punished." He adds, "no one can be allowed to desecrate the Koran."
