NY Times Wages Holy War On Film, Third Jihad

The king of mainstream media, The NY Times, is taking its job of Islamic law enforcer in America very seriously. 

The traitorous NY TImes has decided to wage holy war on the documentary, The Third Jihad, a film made by moderate Muslim, Zuhdi Jasser (someone I have crossed swords with in the past, but that has no relevance here).

Film description: The Third Jihad is a documentary that alerts Americans to the danger radical Islam poses to the United States and to Western civilization as a whole. The film spotlights radical Islam's war against liberal ideas, its violent, anti-democratic agenda as well as its human and civil rights abuses against women, blacks, homosexuals, Christians and moderate Muslims.

The NY Times is unhinged (there has been Times 'press coverage' on this non-story every day this week) because the film was screened for more than 1,400 officers during training in 2010. So what? There is nothing inaccurate in Jasser's film. This is not about the film. This is about the prohibition on truth. This is about the media self-enforcing the blasphemy laws ('do not offend Islam') under the sharia. And in doing so, disarming law enforcement.

But the NY Times means to shut down any frank discussion on jihad. They are on the attack against the film. And Mayor (sharia finance king) Bloomberg, the Ground Zero mosque's staunchest advocate, is doing their bidding. No surprise here either. It dovetails nicely for our quisling Mayor. His mayoral agenda is largely driven by the Times' uber-leftist agenda. And he bolsters his newly formed Islamic finance platforms. Kills two kuffar with one stone.

And of course, the Times and the Mayor are doing the Muslim Brotherhood in America's (CAIR's) bidding.

Late in 2010, Tom Robbins, a former columnist with The Village Voice,  contacted an officer who spoke of his unease with the film; another officer, said Zead Ramadan, the New York president of the Council on American-Islamic Relations, talked of seeing it during a training session the previous summer. “The officer was completely offended by it as a Muslim,” Mr. Ramadan said.

Mr. Bloomberg said that neither he nor the police commissioner, Raymond W. Kelly, had known at the time that the film, “The Third Jihad,” was being shown to officers. Speaking to reporters after testifying here at a state budget hearing, Mr. Bloomberg said that the film had not been shown at the Police Academy.“It was done someplace else and as soon as they found out about it they stopped it and took it down,” Mr. Bloomberg said. “Somebody exercised some terrible judgment. In Shift, Police Say Leader Helped With Anti-Islam Film and Now Regrets It NY Times January 24, 2012

The New York City police commissioner, Raymond W. Kelly, through a top aide, acknowledged for the first time on Tuesday that he personally cooperated with the filmmakers of “The Third Jihad” — a decision the commissioner now describes as a mistake.

The film, which says the goal of “much of Muslim leadership here in America” is to “infiltrate and dominate” the United States, was screened for more than 1,400 officers during training in 2010.

Deputy Commissioner Paul J. Browne told The New York Times on Monday that the filmmakers had relied on old interview clips and had never spoken with the commissioner.

On Tuesday, the film’s producer, Raphael Shore, e-mailed The Times and provided a date and time for their 90-minute interview with the commissioner at Police Headquarters on March 19, 2007. Told of this e-mail, Mr. Browne revised his account.

“He’s right,” Mr. Browne said Tuesday of the producer. “In fact, I recommended in February 2007 that Commissioner Kelly be interviewed.”

So now Kelly is caving. Is there no one in power brave enough to speak the obvious truth about the gravest mortal threat the West now faces?

Worse yet, but typical of the anti-Jewish newspaper, The NY Times implies a Jewish conspiracy went into making the film:

The 72-minute film was financed by the Clarion Fund, a nonprofit group whose board includes a former Central Intelligence Agency official and a deputy defense secretary for President Ronald Reagan. Its previous documentary attacking Muslims’ “war on the West” attracted support from the casino magnate Sheldon Adelson, a major supporter of Israel who has helped reshape the Republican presidential primary by pouring millions of dollars into a so-called super PAC that backs Newt Gingrich.

Repeated calls over the past several days to the Clarion Fund, which is based in New York, were not answered. The nonprofit group shares officials with Aish HaTorah, an Israeli organization that opposes any territorial concessions on the West Bank. The producer of “The Third Jihad,” Raphael Shore, also works with Aish HaTorah.

Vile. The NY Times then spents lots of ink on investigating Clarion's financing. No, there is no there there, but they write about their non-findings nonethelesss.

 

Bloomberg blasts use of 'Jihad' movie during police training

Mayor Michael Bloomberg said Tuesday that New York police used "terrible judgment" in showing officers a film about Muslims that Islamic groups have complained is inflammatory.

Bloomberg said commanders have stopped showing the movie, "The Third Jihad," which contends that Muslims are bent on establishing an Islamic regime worldwide. The film, which was played during counterterrorism training seminars, was bankrolled by a conservative group called the Clarion Fund, according to The New York Times.

"Somebody exercised terrible judgment," Bloomberg said in Albany. "As soon as they found out about it, they stopped it."

The criticism was unusual for Bloomberg, who in recent months vigorously defended the police department's counterterrorism efforts after an Associated Press investigation exposed a secret program to gather intelligence on Muslim neighborhoods.

Bloomberg said neither he nor Police Commissioner Ray Kelly knew about the film being shown. The movie was shown on a continuous loop while officers were signing in for counterterrorism training from October to December 2010, according to police documents obtained by the Brennan Center for Justice, a think tank at New York University.

"The Third Jihad" shows TV images of Hezbollah rocket attacks, children being held hostage by Muslim militants and a woman it says was arrested in Iran for wearing immodest clothing. It shows images it says were taken from Islamic videos and websites, including a doctored picture of an Islamic flag flying over the White House.

It accuses Muslim extremists of posing as moderates and charges several Muslim organizations with being soft on terrorism. It accuses Middle Eastern studies departments at some American universities of supporting hard-line religious governments. Speakers interviewed in the film say "Islamism is like cancer" and urge a "battle for our civilization."

The film is narrated by M. Zuhdi Jasser, president of the American Islamic Foundation for Democracy, based in Phoenix. Jasser rejected Bloomberg's criticism.

"I could not disagree more," Jasser said.

The New York-based Clarion Fund did not return calls for comment. Its website, Radicalislam.org, says Clarion was founded in 2006 by Raphael Shore. Shore is a former leader of Aish HaTorah, a chain of Jewish educational centers.

Deputy Police Commissioner Paul Browne said that the police brass did not approve the use of the movie for training and that the decision to play it was made by a sergeant, who has since been reprimanded.

"This was never used in training, period. It was never authorized for use in training, period," Browne said.

The film was used as "intermission filler" and to "provide information for students during breaks to keep their attention focused on counterterrorism issues," Assistant Chief George W. Anderson wrote in one of the documents obtained by the Brennan Center.

Anderson wrote that he believed the video was given to police by someone in the U.S. Department of Homeland Security. Homeland Security said it didn't authorize the distribution of the movie.

Muslim groups have complained that the film exaggerates radical Islamic elements.

Why don't these Muslim groups complain to the jihadists doing all the killing, oppressing, subjugation?

Instead they kill the messenger -- no pun intended.

The people know. This will backfire, and I predict that the producers of The Third Jihad will sell a whole lot of DVDs with people looking for answers.

Nothing but the truth in 'The Third Jihad; Radical Islam's vision for America'.
There are three other films available on DVD for educational purposes for those interested. 'Islam: What the West needs to Know', 'Obsession: Radical Islam's war against the West' and 'Farewell Israel: Bush, Iran and the Revolt of Islam'. All are factual and contain truths that Muslim's would call hateful. I agree with them about calling this hateful, because these DVDs show just how much they hate us.

Perhaps the editors at the New York Times should read the final remarks of Geert Wilders at his trial in Amsterdam, June 1, 2011. it was all about the human right of free speech, and/or expression of truth, of the threat of Islam.

The film was done by a devout Muslim, and at the very start of the film it stated this is not a film about Islam, but about RADICAL Islam. That part NYTs does not mention. A NY Times reporter based in Egypt, David Kirkpatrick, tonight said MB were similar to Republicans. He was on J. Batchelor's radio show tonight (Wed. night), first segment in the 12M hour.
