Comments

This is one of the classiest answers I have ever heard.

Did you notice how John King actually defended himself and his Network, injecting himself into the debate as a player - a kind of debate partner, an adversary? Outrageous!

King offered a rebuttal, an attempt to correct the right impression. And he did so by reference to his allies in the MSM. He was like a participant in riot saying, "I'm not guilty because everyone else is trying to kill you, too." Nice ethics, you piece of trash.

This was such a great exchange because these Marxist operatives want to stand outside the fire zone and lob ordnance in from a safe place, pretending to be objective, above it all, without an agenda. They do not want to become the subject of hostilities themselves or even be known as belligerents . And Newt dragged them right into it. The devil was forced to appear and speak his name.

Newt revealed this mock debate as a firing squad, the questions as bullets, the "facilitators" as hit men, the appointment as an ambush. Oh, bravo!

This is a textbook example of what we all need to do. Drag them into the light. Make them reveal their agenda.

Love it!! Even if it did happen as his ex said, I think most people see it for what it is, she's trying to hurt Newt. I think it goes nowhere. Most know about Newt and his marriages anyway. But the larger point is the way the media use and ABUSE people to hurt conservatives.

We all need to challenge the media. Write CNN and let them know how you feel.

I'm not even really a Newt guy (I'm an ABO), but that's worth like, six points!

Insane! I so Hope he is the nominee!! I really do ! #Obama2012

Gee, what a coincidence. JUST before the primary election, his 20 year old infidelity (which he has publicly admitted, along with saying IN PAINFUL DETAIL about how he'd sought forgiveness from his family and from God) comes up as an issue.

Not a word about FDR.

Not a word about Ike (yes, he was schtupping his driver during WW2).

Not a word about Kennedy.

Not a word about Clinton. Or Clinton. Or Clinton. Or Clinton.

Not a word about Edwards LYING ABOUT IT DURING THE CAMPAIGN.

But GINGRICH, he had an affair 20 YEARS AGO! Hey that's hot news!

Mark Levin mentioned this evening "OK, if we need personal background material, then I want to know who Barack Obama's drug dealer was. How much did he use? What drugs? What did he spend?"

Note to the press: I don't want to marry Gingrich, I want him as Commander In Chief. If it was good enough for Ike, it's good enough for Gingrich!

One thing you can say about Gingrich. Hes an American to the bone. I may not like his morals, but he does love America. Which you can't say about the Indonesian raised Chicago Marinated Martxist Muslim Post American President Obama. He has never came across as a real American to me. More like a Manikin or computer simulation of what an American should be. Nice to see the MSM outed for their slurs against anyone a threat to Obama. No matter how low. Hiding Obama behind a wall of silence. Everyone knows it. You could tell from the crowds reaction. I can bet you daggers to dog meat, Sarah Plain has a wide grim(SE) on her face.

First time I've ever seen the money shot at the beginning of the movie rather than the end. After the first debate, I said I'd pay money to see Newt debate the TelePrompter-in-Chief whose 20-something speechwriters couldn't think fast enough to keep Obama from yammering like Bugs Bunny while waiting for their hollow, meaningless rhetoric to start scrolling. Had McCain shown that much conviction in '08, the name Obama would now be pronounced "What was the name of that clown the Democrats ran in '08?”

Very impressive. And see what happens? The got a standing ovation from much of the public. People love it when truth and honesty is spoken - (honest) people are sick and tired of the distortion and the smearcampaign of the left. And remember: the truth is a very powerful weapon.

Ha ha ha. Brilliant. Well done Newt, you tell 'em! Bravo!

What is Gingrich's view on the Separation of church and State?

NEWT'S RONALD REAGAN MOMENT

Last night Newt Gingrich had his rousing Ronald Reagan (Nashua) moment in one of the most eventual and exciting days in American campaign history where he won a two hour debate in its first five minutes by lashing out at CNN's John King and the despicable Obama lapdog media. And where was our immature, adolescent Mickey Mouse president yesterday? At Disney World's fantasyland wishing upon a star that the American people will give his failed presidency a second term to turn a disastrous, miserable four years into an utter national catastrophe.

Love it. He immediately took the spotlight and shined it on the lying anti American media including the one standing in front of him. A candidate with balls.. Go Newt.

Watch out for my upcoming piece, Signs Of Newt Gingrich, showing that Newt has the Herculean strength to defeat billion dollar Barack Obama and his entire Democratic-Liberal Media reelection machine bagage and all, flaws and all, Marianne and all.

I am coming to think that, more than anything, America needs a Republican candidate who can articulate America's values in a debate against a Marxist. It would clarify things marvelously for most of the voters. Gingrich is the man who can make Obama look like the callow teenaged poseur he really is.

He's a serial cheater. Didn't like it when Clinton did it (he should have resigned), didn't like it when Edwards did it, and don't like it when Newt does it. Newt's not an honorable guy. I agree that the media should have slammed all of the others for it, but don't agree that it's not an issue just because Newt is the one that does it. Divorce happens - fine. But the extent of the lying and cheating that went on with him with not just one, but two, wives, is the emblem of his character. Calista Gingrich would be the first home-wrecker First Lady. Great message to our girls - when you get a bit old and a bit sick, it's okay for your husbands to dump you for a younger chickee. Oh, and there's that small thing about Newt no longer supporting free-market capitalism. I find it amusing that he not only is trying to shame Romney for earning money by making investments in struggling companies (and turning most of them around), but also criticizes Romney for taking advantage of the lower capital gains tax rate and making permissible (and normal) investments in companies that are in the Caymans (and pretending, with the New York Times, that such an investment is illegal and somehow hidden from US tax - it's not - more proof that Newt either knows nothing about how Capitalism works or that he is purposefully playing the socialist populist to get elected).

Anyway, I trust John Bolton's endorsement - he's a man of character who is supporting Romney full on. If you want Bolton as SecState, vote Romney.

Pamela did the right thing, Newt is the only one who will fight America's enemies with the zeal that is required. Of course we'd prefer a president who was only married once, but another divorcee named Ronald Reagan already showed us that a failed marriage does not mean a failed presidency.

NEWT 2012!

Netanyhu has also been married three times and he has been a good leader and communicator for Israel.

Romney's hero, Joseph Smith had more than a dozen wives. (he was not a great leader, but was murdered in jail for banking and religious scams)

So did Obama's hero, Mohammed. (not a great leader either, but a hate-filled cruel tyrant like his followers)

As the candidates and Sarah Palin remarked, those who are Americans, Jews and Christians believe in repentance, mercy and redemption, or else all jail terms would be permanent and no sins could be forgiven.

Moses, King David, St. Paul, St. Augustine were forgiven when they repented. John Newton, a slave ship captain became a minister and wrote Amazing Grace. Thank G-D for that grace and mercy - for them, for me, for Newt, for all who will repent and call on Him too.

Regarding last nights debate...I have come to expect nothing less from Newt.

Frankly, I don't give a damn about Newt's personal life (ever wonder why it
is called "personal" life?).

What I really care about is that he is the best suited candidate capable of saving our Republic from the marxist quisling currently occupying OUR Oval Office...period.

Also, and this is very important, he fully understands the existential threat posed to the West, America in particular, by Islam and he is not afraid to be outspoken about "the Muslim problem" no matter how much CAIR whines.

Go Newt, you've had my vote from the beginning!!

Coincidentally, both Romney's fathers ran for the Presidency of the US, his biological father in the 60s and Joseph Smith in 1844, six months before he was murdered.

Some have pointed out that with Mormons, as with Mohammedans, there is a global-conquest ambition...just less violent, more of a cosmic/spiritualist thing. Romney is above the bishop level in his religion.

Interesting too that both Mohammedism and Mormonism are perversions of Judaism and Christianity. Mormonism is Jesus plus Joseph Smith's revelations and Mohammedism is Jesus demoted to a prophet under Mohammed.

So, if Romney gets the nomination this election will have a spiritual dimension, like it or not. It will be the battle between two men who feel they are entitled/chosen to be the POTUS. BHO as son of Malcolm X and WMR as son of two aspiring POTUSes.

Wow..way to go Newt. He'd have my vote any day. Shame I live in the UK.

Clarification - In case anyone does not know, Joseph Smith was the founder of Mormonism. He was the one who claimed to have a vision and revelation given to him by the Angel Moroni and a prophet named Mormon. He claimed to have received the revelation written on two golden tablets written by Mormon. Sitting behind a screen, he translated/dictated the book from the scrolls looking at a majic seer stone in a white hat. Someone on the other side of the screen wrote down the messages.

Again, two of the banks he founded went broke and his spiritual message was not well received. He was run out of towns a few times for his business deals and spiritual ideas and was killed in jail in 1844, six months after he announced a run for the US presidency.

Joseph Smith came from an area of NY state that in the early 1800s had several large Protestant revivals and became overly religious. It was known as the "Burned-over District". A number of Protestant Christian denominations sprang from this area, including a woo-woo spiritual group and some really early radical feminists. 1843-4 was also the date of the "Great Disappointment" which caused a split in its members who went on to form their own church groups. Look these events up on Google. Very interesting reading.

Any good general will tell you the fastest way to defeat an enemy is to attack their supply chain, and Obama's supply chain is the media. Let's hope for more of this.

Saint Nikaou - Here's the difference. Netanyahu has not been accused of being a cheater and his divorce and marriage timeline indicates that he was not. His first marriage ended in 1978. His next marriage commenced in 1981, at least 3 years thereafter. That marriage ended in 1984. His marriage to his current wife commenced in 1991, at least 7 years thereafter. Again, no allegations by ex-wives of serial cheating. Newt's timeline? Divorced 1st wife in 1981, married 2nd wife in 1981. Divorced 2nd wife in 2000, married 3rd wife in 2000. No gaps. And Marianne claims (and Newt does not refute) that he was cheating on his 2nd wife with Calista the Home-Wrecker for years. Obviously, he was cheating on his 1st wife as well. That's the difference. Divorce is not necessarily bad. But cheating is. And calling his ex-wife a liar, which he did in the debate by saying the charges are false, is messed up. I note that Mitt's been married to the same woman forever.

Also, Newt cheats on the facts when he calls into question Romney's business. In addition to misrepresenting how Capitalism works and taking the Democratic party line on assailing venture capitalists, Newt seems to think that capital gains taxes from investments are evil. Please note that the investment income that Romney paid 15% on, was ALREADY taxed at the 35% corporate rate, for an effective tax of 50%. If Newt can't do the math and wants to follow the New York Times' lead on economics, he is either stupid or the true RINO. Newt may be able to talk in a debate, but if you vote for him in the primaries and he wins, Obama will win with a Nixonian landslide over the McGovernite Newt.

I am not sure why you raise Joseph Smith's past (other than to passively bash Mormons), but if you want to talk scams, Newt was required to pay $300,000 as punishment for ethics violations in the House. He was thrown out of leadership by his own party.

We need a president who can fix the economy and deliver an effective foreign and domestic policy. Newt is a college professor and professional politician and lobbyist. Obama was a professor too, and professional politician and community organizing lobbyist. Mitt made his money and then became a politician. He did not become a politician, like Newt and Obama, to make money. The vast riches that Newt and Obama now have come solely from the political gravy train. Do you think that Fannie Mae really needed an historian on its payroll??? Wonder how Newt got the job and what he actually did to earn the money.

Again, if you support capitalism and John Bolton, why would you support Newt??

This was staged.

Newt is smart enough to gather up all the “talking points” and “issues” that are important to the average conservative and make it look like he’s on our side.

People are sick of the media. So Newt “rebukes” the media and scores points with conservatives.

It’s okay if you can’t see that this was rehearsed by Newt and staged by the producers–including an angle of plausible deniability on the part of John King–a really good “uh-oh” moment on his part because he didn’t know it was coming, or he’s very good at acting, but it WAS staged.

Clap. Clap. Clap.

“Finally someone who will voice our concerns about an unaccountable media . . . ”

I will tell you again that you are being set up.

Newt knows full well that most conservatives listen to talk radio, where the “leaders” of the talk radio shows can bash brashly without contest. He knows people like that, so he delivers it. I would urge people not to swallow it. It’s just a formula. And he’s trying to capitalize on people’s comfort zone with talk radio hosts.

Then he goes on to try to smear Romney with Bain again–with arguments he already knows are completely false. But he goes on . . . Big Bad Romney hurting the little guy.

What tosh.

Newt is in love with power. And this leads to disasters of various kinds for him, also notable in his personal life:

“Congressman Newt Gingrich has been married three times. His first and second marriages ended because he began relationships with the women who would later become his second and third wives. He has been accused of having multiple additional affairs. While Congressman Gingrich was leading this private lifestyle, he publicly campaigned on family values, publicly shamed other representatives who were caught in similar behavior, and led the charge to impeach President Clinton for matters relating to his affairs.

Newt began a relationship with his first wife, Jackie, when he was 16 and she was his geometry teacher. He married her after high school, they had children shortly thereafter, and were married for roughly 18 years. During that time Jackie supported Newt while in College and during two unsuccessful Congressional campaigns. His campaign staff has stated that Newt carried out multiple affairs during this time. After a successful 1978 campaign, Congressman Gingrich moved to D.C. . . .”

He chose to “spin” his latest situation by insinuating that his grown daughters have come to his aid over the Marianne issue. But those two daughters (ages 48 and 51) are NOT children from that marriage. They are children from his first wife, Jackie.

But Newt wants to make it seem like these are daughters from his marriage to Marianne, who are coming to his defense instead of to their “mother’s” defense. This fake-out has been largely accepted here–that “see–even their daughters are against the mother . . .”

But the truth is:

“Gingrich has two daughters, both from his first marriage to Jackie Battley.

Kathleen Gingrich Lubbers (born 1963) is currently the president of Gingrich Communications.
Jacqueline Sue Gingrich Cushman (born 1966) is a published author.”

http://2012.republican-candidates.org/Gingrich/Children.php

This kind of thing is a pattern for Newt. Marrying someone–”scoring” his high school teacher is about power. She got old quickly. Marrying Marianne following his invitation to her to help him gain the white house is about power. Getting rid of her and having an affair with his young, good-looking intern/aide, then marrying that aide for her is about power.

And I’m not even getting into his political problems in this post.

My point is that Newt is smart, but Newt is not honest or balanced. He can easily size up his potential voting audience and play to it. That’s all he’s doing. Don’t be taken in.

Meanwhile Obama is trying to gobble Romney by falsely floating it that Obamacare was patterned after Romney’s legislation in the state of Massachusetts, then hiring someone from Bain. This is also fake–meant to confuse the average voter.

I would urge people to take a very close look at Gingrich before hopping on his bandwagon.

Also it should be known that “Gingrich Communications” is Newt’s organization for promoting Newt’s speeches and speaking engagements–that’s the organization run by one of his daughters who has “come to his defense” against Newt’s second wife.

It gets worse.

Find out and stop rallying around all of this media-generatd spin. Newt would not make a good president because truth is not his forte.

Read more on Newt’s own website (before they scrub it) at Newt.org.

OF COURSE his daughter from his first marriage is going to defend Newt. That’s what she was paid to do as one of his managers.

For Newt to go out there and act like it’s a “family thing” — he is doing that just to garner sympathy. He knows the stats on divorce rates, so he knows how to frame it.

The problem is that it’s simply not true.

About the media's attempts to manipulate information and pubic opinion:

It’s the producers who call the shots, who decide how a particular broadcast event will play, not the reporters (or the ladies on The View, for example), and the producers in turn are controlled by the media owners, of which there are about four or five only in the United States–plus you have rich Moslems buying up major controlling shares, which is a new development. All of this affects what you see or don’t see.

IKing was probably not aware of the actual set-up, but I’d have to work in the newsroom to know for sure. In any case, he most definitely would not be punished and might have even gotten a bonus for serving as the sacrificial lamb. But media people are info/emotion manipulators and they can be very good at their jobs, or they wouldn’t have their jobs. Mostly now they’re just a bunch of “yes” men or women. They do what they’re told well, and keep working. Saunders is an example: complaining about how “awful” it is that Romney has wealth, when she herself is extraordinarily wealthy. There is still some integrity left with the old-timer print journalists who can’t be bossed around too much at this point in their careers, and with a few of the younger ones, depending on which paper or magazine they write for. But mostly, the media giants are trying to run the world. Years ago Ted Turner had commercials saying the same about the power of media to control the destiny of nations. They’re power brokers. The reporters and hosts are their lackeys.

About Newt’s pony show. I’m sure he’ll keep using that trick–scold the moderator, seem like a big man. His record and conduct is the better way to judge who New Gingrich really is.

Obama will be protected to the hilt in any debate.

Another thing they do is mess with camera angles and camera stability.

The human brain puts together visual information in a certain way. They can control how you “feel” about a candidate, for example, with lighting, camera angle, camera stability. An easy-to-understand example is that they will purposely jiggle the camera ever so slightly on the candidate they don’t like when they’re talking, and the audience will feel uncomfortable about the candidate. Same about sound. You’d hardly notice it, but “something” just isn’t right and you don’t enjoy watching the candidate.

Big rooms. Mulitliple screens. Everyone is on mic (in the ears) — from the camera guys, to the sound guys, to the lighting guys, to the make-up guys, to the hosts. The producer controls everything in rapid fire style. And the ones that can “obey” like trick dogs get to keep their jobs.
Everything you see is controlled by the producers and media owners. It’s amazing that we get any information at all.

They do the same in the opposite direction with a candidate they are told to “puff.” Great camera angels, lighting, make-up, sound–all to deliver a larger than life image to the public. We end up just “loving” the candidate for some reason . . .

Remember the crowds staged in Oregon for Obama in the 2008 election cycle. They brought in a wildly popular band to draw the crowd first for free, then brought Obama out–white sleeves, shirt sleeves rolled up, low angles (i.e. the camera looks “up” at the candidate to make him appear more heroic), and the backdrop of thousands of people. Ooooh. Aaaah.

Let's really get into records and the truth in this election and focus on ObamaHilary. That's the monster to be defeated. To me, Newt is skilled in rhetoric, but he's just not solid.

Mama Grizzly says it brilliantly.

Newt is a man to be reckoned with and although I might not approve of all of his choices and all of his policies he's what America needs now. No one is perfect and that goes double for politicians, but a least this man will not sell out to the colonists or try to destroy America as is presently being done.

If you don't like him just hold your nose & vote for him anyway, the only person that will save your country & your freedoms and deal with the rest later.

One more thing. Newt keeps asking that Romney disclose his tax forms on the weak theory that "if he's got nothing to hide, why not do it". But Newt only wants to do this to play up the "Plutocrat" image that the Democrats want to paint of Romney. Earning money and having money is bad, and so are lower capital gains taxes (which are lower to account for the fact that the money earned has already been taxed at 35%). Unless, of course, you're Newt and have a $3MM+ annual income based on your celebrity status as a former politician. If Newt is so concerned with transparency, why isn't he releasing the full evidence in the tax cheating and campaign finance violations for which he was convicted by the House in the late 1990s, and forced to pay a $300,000 fine with respect thereto??? Amazing that he paints Romney (who obeys the law) as a tax cheat for paying the required taxes on profitable investments and legally investing in companies that - shocker - are domiciled outside of the US, when Newt is the actual cheat. Next on Newt's list - defending Union tactics and excoriating oil companies and other "corporations". Maybe he'll get the OWS vote, because he's certainly pandering to it.

Maybe Newt's all about the Trinity - he's on his 3rd wife and his 3rd religion. Talk about flip-flopping.

Pamela Geller is in a desperation mode here: it is wishful thinking to believe that the Newtster will get anywhere near Penn Ave. He is a flagrant womanizer and this sad attempt at a deflection of his unethical core values being exposed is pathetic.

I know that Pamela wants him to win because of his orate stance on Israeli but this is not the guy we want in the White House. He is nothing more than business as usual. More of the same corruption and backroom deals he is already known for. Hear me out here: Paul is the guy who across the board hits more marks for representing the people and not corporate interests that have gotten us into this situation. Paul will have to be reigned in when he is president on continued support for Israel and I this can be done. Do not throw the baby out with the bath water. Newt is NOT the guy. He is corrupt, immoral and lacks any ethical balance outside of special interests groups that pad his pocket.

For those asking us to look at Newt's record: He gave the United States 4 balance budgets in a row. I'm hard pressed to come up with anybody else who did likewise. As for he mean grumpy nature, that's a positive at this time as far as I'm concerned, the Democrats need to be pounded. I want someone whose idea of reaching out to Democrats is to slap their treacherous drooling face. Go Newt!

Funny, Bill Clinton takes credit for the balanced budget too. Newt was so loved by his colleagues that a Republican majority threw him out and voted to censure him (and make him pay $300K) for ethics violations. Newt should release the full ethics case against him and let us know why he should be trusted.

Anyone for a Gingrich/Santorum ticket!!?!!

Newt is married to the Constitution and American Exceptionalism, and that's good enough for me.

Here's another great Newt video (on the couch with Nancy): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VaZFfQKWX54 Go to the website that Newt recommnends - climaterealityproject.org - and it appears to be an Al Gore campaign website. Hmmmm. Here's their statement of what they are about: "Founded and chaired by Al Gore, Nobel Laureate and former Vice President of the United States, The Climate Reality Project has more than 5 million members and supporters worldwide. It is guided by one simple truth: The climate crisis is real and we know how to solve it." This ad paid for by Gingrich/Pelosi 2012.

Of course, there is a zero percent chance that in the fall Obama-GOP nominee debates you will hear John King asking Barry about his past experiences with Larry Sinclair, Donald Young, Larry Bland, Kal Penn, Jeremiah Wright, William Ayers, Bernardine Dohrn, Donald Warden, et al.

Whyy are people soo stupid and emotional, yes he's the best speaker on the floor and yes he's probably the best debater but he's soo fake.

He claims to advocate for capitalism but he attacks Romney for being successful, he's against Obamacare but he supported mandates, he even made a commercial with Pelosi on climate change and regulations.

Pamela is only concerned about tough rhetoric against Muslims and voicing support for Israel no matter how shallow. America will only become a better country if we assess what's holding us back as a nation and who has those ideas to bring us out which is all economic. We're spending too much, China owns all our debt and our dollar is depreciating and it will be worth nothing soon enough if we don't stop this.

Ron Paul is the only one who gets this and will follow the constitution and leads us out of this disaster, Newt is fake and too divisive he would never be able to work with congress anyway. Ron Paul brings people together based on his good ideas and following the constitution and he could beat Obama people RP would get the young vote as well.

I could be enthusiastic about a Gingrich-West or Gingrich-Ryan ticket. But with Romney it will not even be the lesser of two evils, it will be choosing the leper with the fewest missing fingers. (Obama has two remaining digits: they are both middle fingers directed at the American people.)

@KeithMahone (aka Charles Martel): Thank you , Keith(Charles), for your brilliant and succinct comment. Love it!!!!

Harry, a couple of statements in your comment above could use a tune up.

”Please note that the investment income that Romney paid 15% on, was ALREADY taxed at the 35% corporate rate, for an effective tax of 50%. If Newt can't do the math and wants to follow the New York Times' lead on economics, he is either stupid or the true RINO.”
Here’s some math for you to consider.
If you had $100 and it was taxed at 35% you would be left with $65. If that $65 was taxed at 15% you would be left with $55.25. The effective total tax then would be 44.75%.
$100 x (1 - .4475) = $55.25

”Obama was a professor too, and professional politician and community organizing lobbyist.”
If I’m not mistaken Obama was not a professor, he was a lecturer. As I understand it a lecturer is more like a contractor where a professor is a full time employee. It’s not a minor distinction.

Other than that, you make some very good points about Newt.

To those who said they are voting for Obama, your absolutely insanely soulless. There are nothing within you at all that is morally intact. I normally wait till March of the election year before I get behind someone. After last nights debate, Newt is my guy, He just may be a lot of things morally, but he's redeemed himself as far as I'm concerned. He is also honest, being that when the man says he's going to do it before the American people, he does just that, he does it. Romney and Paul are two of the biggest snake oil salesman I have ever seen and they are spooky to the core. Notta Gonna get my vote!

Thanks, Richard. Corrections noted. Newt only made it to the rank of assistant professor, which I guess is slightly more elevated than Senior Lecturer. In any event, we don't need a master debating professor who thinks "grandiose thoughts" about the evils of capitalism and the dangers of global warming to be CEO of the country. We need a CEO who actually understands the economy and how companies actually work and how working companies employ workers. If anyone out there still wants a Talker-in-Chief, Obama master debates as well as Mitt and we won't have to pay tax dollars to send moving vans to the White House.

Hee hee! He will slice, dice and PUREE, President Oh-teleprompter , in a New York second. The ability to think on his feet better than ANY of them especially, that cardboard cut out that is now wasting space at the White House!

"Oh, and there's that small thing about Newt no longer supporting free-market capitalism. "
---------------------------------------------------

Yes, Gingrich is a long way from a perfect or ideal candidate. But who is? Romney? Perry( Pamela is right- thanks heaven he dropped. Least of all we need a Commander -in-cheif reciving orders from Arabian oil sheiks) ? Santorum? Paul? They all have a history of going big government to achieve their goals. They have all variously denounced big government while all serving in very big government positions. They all are flawed. Deeply flawed.

But if we for a while put Gingrich's bedroom aside, we get a picture of the only candidate who thinks big and who has a snapshot of our larger conflict with Islam. And he is not afraid openly to say about it. No one of the other candidates so far dared openly to handle the issue. Doesn't it remind you Reagan and the Soviet "evil empire" ? At the time , he was also scorched by the leftist smear mashine for saying truth about our enemies. So, what is more important for us today - scrutinizing Gingrich's bedroom or investing into a politician who clearly understands the danger we all are facing? Btw, as someone had already noticed here, our great president also was married more than once.

Take Romney. What are his real goals and values? They are obscure. They are vague. He articulates them over and over again, but the more he talks, the vaguer they become. He believes in all the things we do, except when he doesn’t. He proved it. Do we need four years of "Obama lite" when our economy is ruined and we losing big to Islam on all world and home fronts?

And who the hell can tell us that a CEO of any big company is immune from criticism? Free enterprise means the right to do something but it doesn't mean an automatic endorsement of any business practice. If Romney can’t take on Perry and Gingrich on the topic and win without helping him to take Bain Capital off the agenda, then how is he going to stand up to Obama?

And another thing. Was Gingrich a "socialist populist" when he was trying to cut funding for the big government AmeriCorps monster, while Romney teamed up with Clinton to condemn any cuts by Congressional Republicans to the program?
No, we definitely don't need "Obama lite" to run the country for the next four years.

From the point of view of ideological purity, Santorum is better equipped than Gingrich. But hardly he is as well equipped as Gingrich to kick ass of " the silver-tongued snake in the White House" in November.

Ron Paul is just a crackpot. He is an irresponsible isolationist. The scenario of his foreign policy acts as if we have no enemies and any talk that we have enemies is a "conspiracy" to bring us into a war. This idiot accepts every bit of enemy propaganda as gospel and assumes that if we just “stop bothering them”, they’ll “stop bothering us”. He assumes that the enemy is entirely motivated by our actions. Any conflict we are in today is the result of our foreign policy and he believes that his tactics of burying his head in the sand will avert any such conflicts. This guy is just dangerous for the country.

Conclusion. If there is no new Reagan among the candidates running to replace "the silver-tongued snake" occupying the White House, it makes sense to support a candidate who at least closest in debates to the foreign and domestic policy of our great President running the country from 1981 to 1989.

Newt definitely has my vote!! Especially for us who are aware of the massive danger posed by islam and islamists, how can we not be jumping up and down in support of Newt? Romney and Paul are absolutely clueless about islam. Santorum gets it but I don't think he quite has enough stateliness to lead. Newt's truth telling and fire has inspired people. He is taking on and speaking about all the things that are most important to me: speaking the truth about islam, confronting the leftist media bias, overhauling the corrupt courts, challenging the epa, becoming energy independant by taping into our own energy sources, balancing the budget, teaching good work habits, control our southern border, etc.
I would love to see a Newt/West or a Newt/Palin ticket! Go Newt!!

"I know that Pamela wants him to win because of his orate stance on Israeli but this is not the guy we want in the White House."

And who is the guy we want in the White House? A guy who has no clue that . Immigration means that the enemy population is already here and it has nothing to dowith stance on Israel? A guy who deliberately hate talking about the fact that the rise of Islam means inevitable war (history repeats itself in 21 century) and that the war is actually being waged in the world where Islam runs the show?

If so, then Ron is your ticket. Or Nihad Awad (CAIR Director) . There is no difference between two.

Reasons that Newt Gingrich is the best Republican presidential candidate
========================================================================

1. Intellectual Stature
A broad and deep knowledge of U.S. and world history that's unmatched by other candidates in either party. A thinker, he's open to new ideas, and can think his way out of difficult dilemmas.

2. Political Experience
Deep knowledge of the inner workings of Congress will make him more effective in getting legislation passed.

3. Leadership Image
A reincarnation of the Founding Fathers?

4. Staunch Supporter of Israel
Wouldn't even think of cutting it loose like OBAMA and RON PAUL do all the time.

5. Staunch Enemy of Sharia
We know about that.

6. Alleged Personal Baggage: TRIVIAL
Like, who cares?

7. Core Values
At the end of the day Pres. Gingrich will preserve, protect, and defend the U.S. Constitution from all enemies, not sit at the Russian Roulette Table with them and pass the gun around like OBAMA.

Only possible negative point: no previous chief executive experience. Like that stopped Obama? :)

MittlBots are out in full force in full disguise!
MittBots are out in full force in full disguise!
Some are in full disguise, some are in fuller, fullest, fullestest, fullestest-ass disguise,
some cannot even control themselves and foaming in their mouths.

Just you wait for more to come!
"Players only love you when they're playing"
"PaulBots, MittBots, et al, only love you when they're poking your eyes"

"Tell me, good Brutus, can you see your face?
No, Cassius; for the eye sees not itself"

"Into what dangers would you lead me, Cassius,
That you would have me seek into myself
For that which is not in me?
Therefore, good Brutus, be prepared to hear"

"Et tu, Brute? Hey, Brutus, that hurts. I, The Caesar, then fall: I'm dying, man."

"Mitt fought against Ted Kennedy (didn't sit on the couch with him) and did surprisingly well. Mitt became Governor in the bluest of states"

Yeah, right. The man who ran for the Senate in Massachusetts as being better for " gay rights" than Ted Kennedy indeed "fought hard" against the old pervert Teddy. A man who was for abortion before he was against it. A guy who has been consistently inconsistent on global warming, on gun control and just about everything else , all that clearly tells us who really he is.

And finally when he disavowed Reagan/Bush and later reinvented himself as a conservative national candidate, this part of his story distinctly tells us that we least of all need today to elect RomneyBama to run this country terribly devastated for four years by the pro-Sharia liberal Socialists.

ALL THESE PROTESTANTS JUST REFUSE TO NOMINATE A MORMAN...VERY, VERY SAD !

Hardly. His Mormonism has not prevented him from still being the front-runner. What he lacks is not his Mormonism but the fact that he has no the fire in his belly to confront the pro-sharia left. But we cannot afford another four years of Romneybama. Our country is on the verge of collapsing. We need a resolute , Reagan-like guy who is able to stop our sliding to the abyss steadily pushed there by the alliance of liberal and Muslim fascists.

"What makes you think he won't end up as bad as O. "

What makes you think that the gutless Massachusetts flip-flopper won't end up as another Bush #2?

"What makes you think he's electable in a 50/50 country?"

He is the second after Romneybama, according to the latest polls

all women should go vicious on any candidate soft on sharia
sharia is all about slavery of, ownership of, abuse of, oppression of, terrorism on

@HARRY

The Pelosi-Gingrich video needs to be understood in the context of Newt's 2007 book "A Contract With The Earth." Unlike Pelosi, and the government-is-the-answer eco-nuts on the Left, Newt has conservative entrepreneurial market based solutions to environmental problems real or imaginary. The reason for doing the video was to draw attention to his book and perhaps win over some on the left to sensible, conservative ideas.

What a horrible man! He finds it "appalling, vicious, despicable" when HE is subject to public defamation about his hidden cheating and scamming, but he doesn't care that he HIMSELF caused exactly that to try and destroy Clinton over Lewinsky!

This man is a hypocrite and truly unethical. No country need a manipulator like that to be a president. The man is garbage.

  • "I would give the greatest sunset in the world for one sight of New York's skyline. Particularly when one can't see the details. Just the shapes. The shapes and the thought that made them. The sky over New York and the will of man made visible. What other religion do we need? And then people tell me about pilgrimages to some dank pesthole in a jungle where they go to do homage to a crumbling temple, to a leering stone monster with a pot belly, created by some leprous savage. Is it beauty and genius they want to see? Do they seek a sense of the sublime? Let them come to New York, stand on the shore of the Hudson, look and kneel. When I see the city from my window - no, I don't feel how small I am - but I feel that if a war came to threaten this, I would throw myself into space, over the city, and protect these buildings with my body."
    Ayn Rand
