I hope Mubarak isn't holding his breath waiting for Hussein Obama to save him ......
Is there no one in the free world who will stand with an ally that stood against the global jihad for thirty years? What a message we are sending to anyone who stands with America. Of course, Mubarak cannot ask for Israel's help -- that would ensure an immediate death fatwa. But the US, France, Britain, Germany .... is there no one with any testicular fortitude?
Mubarak asks World leaders to save him Israel Matzav (hat tip Jack)
Egyptian daily Ruz al-Yusuf reported on Saturday that former Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak has asked nine World leaders to intervene to allow his family to leave Egypt and to save his life.
In the letters, which were most likely addressed to the United States, France, Britain, Germany, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Bahrain and Lebanon, the ailing Mubarak pleaded with the leaders to mount pressure on Egyptian authorities to allow his two sons, Gamal and Alaa – who are also facing trial – and his wife to leave the country without being sent to jail.
Mubarak also reportedly plead with American officials to dissuade Egyptian authorities from sentencing him to death, claiming that the current rulers of Egypt and his historic rivals – the Muslim Brotherhood – will not allow the court to acquit him.

The world is spinning out of control with the help of our own corrupt politicians. Sadly, for the life of me I can't muster up any hope that Mubarak or his family will be saved by any of our politicians being they are very ones who helped put him and his family in this situation. :-(

"The world is spinning out of control with the help of our own corrupt politicians."
So horribly true.
If I could, I would go and save him and his family.
No woman can enter (or live in) a Sharia country safely.

Whoever he is in the White House, he loves death. He was beaming when they dragged Gadhafi through the streets, and sodomized him. According to him, though water boarding is torture. He and Hillary Clinton will get theirs in hell.

“I hope Mubarak isn't holding his breath waiting for Hussein Obama to save him ...”
You’ve got to wonder where O is on the Sunni-Shiite continuum, or if he’s on it at all. Maybe he’s only on the destroy-the-West continuum – and falling off of the end of that. Scary that after 3 years we still know no more about the guy than we did at the beginning, and we didn’t know anything then.

Failed treasury auction
portends Egyptian disaster
By Spengler
http://www.atimes.com/atimes/Middle_East/NA24Ak02.html
"Egypt faces a disaster of biblical proportions, and the world will do nothing about it. Officially, Egypt's foreign exchange reserves fell by half during 2011, including a $2.4 billion decline during December - from $36 billion to $18 billion, or about four months of imports."-Spengler
The great Spengler at Asia Times sees what's ahead for Egypt. This problem is rooted in economics. Egypt (and much of the Muslim Mideast) does not produce enough wealth to feed itself. The entire GDP of the Muslim Mideast (and that includes oil) is about equal to that of Spain.
The nation that the entire region should copy is Israel and its high tech. Instead the region will look for jizya. Islam is a chain on the Arabs. Reason would tell them: come to an understanding with Israel-and do it fast.

BTW, this another Spengler article worth reading....

I don't agree. I think both Spengler articles (above) sum up my reasons better than I could state. One has to do with economics, the other has to do with non-material things (the teachings of Jesus and Jesus'Jewish roots). What we will see in the years ahead will be very similar to the collapse of Communism (and Nazism) and then (in like manner) Islam.
The outcome ahead will be more like the outcome of the Cold War. (The exception to that will be Iran, which will require force.)

After all he has done to help his friends turn recently 'liberated' Arab/Muslim nations into failed Islamist states, it wouldn't make sense for Hussein Obama to support any leader that resisted the Muslim Brotherhood.

I really don't hold out any hope that he will be saved. Obama is too in bed with the Islamists even though he has to hold his nose and do some things he would rather not. He is absolutely the worst democratic leader we have seen in a long time, maybe ever.
Considering what Mabarak has done to his own people over the years, I don't think anybody in the ME will help either.
Hopefully, the whole thing will collapse around them before too long. Those people are really not fit to rule anyone. The corruption in the whole region has been out of control for years.

In the beginning, Israel offered him a safe haven. He must regret not taking them up on their offer.

Poor deluded guy. He was set up by all the countries he is now begging for help to protect him from those they put into office. He had better use his money to pay some smugglers to get him and his family out. That is going to be his only option. If he did sneak into Isreal, I am sure they would do their best to protect him there. He would be just another target among millions to them.
I hope he does get out because he and his family don't deserve this. He protected people and the world from the creeps who took over. He did his best and had the interests of his people and the rest of the world at heart. Why should he suffer for a few mistakes he may have made?
He should look up Isreali smugglers and see if they can get him out. He could also try for maybe some Italians or other Europeans who could pick him up by boat and take him to Europe. I wouldn't trust the Muslims around him. They seem to eat their own.

He could try China or India.
