Unbelievable. Rational voices are continually given the shaft, prohibited from the airwaves, and these agitators and subversives are given respect, salaries and the imprimatur of legitimacy.
The right does not have ONE network. Not one.
Fox News Hires Soros-funded Activist Cliff Kincaid, AIM (hat tip Trevor Loudon)
Sally Kohn, a former senior strategist at the Soros-funded Center for Community Change, has been hired as a Fox News Contributor. Soros is the controversial hedge fund billionaire, convicted of insider trading in France, who finances the “progressive” movement in the U.S.
It is significant that Kohn is now a regular paid commentator on Fox News, while Glenn Beck, the one-time archenemy of George Soros, was ousted from the channel last year and now hosts an Internet TV show.
An open lesbian who shuns feminine attire and frequently wears a suit jacket, Kohn is joining Fox News after being a regular on such programs as “The Ed Show” on liberal rival MSNBC.
She is now officially part of the “Fox News Family,” as she puts it, and has been making appearances on the channel for several days.
The selection of Kohn raises disturbing questions about the direction of Fox News in a critical election year. Kohn worked at the Center for Community Change, one of the leading Soros-funded groups, for six years, from 2004—2010. During this period, the group received $5.8 million from Soros’s main vehicle, the Open Society Institute (OSI).
The former chair of the board of the Center for Community Change, Cecilia Munoz, was recently named the Director of the Domestic Policy Council in the White House, a position that makes her one of Obama’s top aides. She had been serving as Director of Intergovernmental Affairs. A White House press release about her appointment notes that she previously served on the U.S. Programs Board of the OSI and was Senior Vice President for the Office of Research, Advocacy, and Legislation at the National Council of La Raza.
[...]
..... Fox News fired Beck, even while calling it a mutual decision and promising collaboration on “a slate of projects for Fox News Channel and Fox News’ digital properties” that have yet to materialize.
Kohn herself narrated a video making fun of Beck, insisting that he was spouting misinformation about fascism and communism being extreme left-wing ideas and implying that he was the real fascist. She said that liberals like President Obama and herself favor “democratic capitalism,” not any kind of state control of the economy.
The reality, however, is quite different.
“Sally Kohn makes the world safe for radical ideas,” her website says. In fact, Kohn is a far-left radical who attended the 2003 World Social Forum in Brazil, a meeting place for groups which say they are opposed to capitalism and U.S. imperialism. The 2011-2012 “Calendar of Struggles” for the World Social Forum includes:
- Global week of actions in support to the freedom of the Gaza Flotilla II.
- International Conference on the impact of the North American invasion in Iraq.
- International Solidarity Day for the Palestinian and African peoples.
Not only is Kohn now on Fox News, where she can demonstrate the channel’s “fair and balanced” commitment by championing radical Arab and pro-Marxist causes, she is being given open access to the influential FoxNews.com website, where she writes articles praising the Occupy Wall Street movement.
The Kohn bio at the end of her Fox News columns says she is the founder and Chief Education Officer of the Movement Vision Lab, “a grassroots think tank,” but clicking on the organization’s website takes you to Kohn’s personal page. It appears that the Movement Vision Lab was a project of the Center for Community Change that has since been discontinued.
[...]Both Kohn and Rashad Robinson, executive director of a group called Color of Change, have attended the Soros-funded event known as the “Creative Change Retreat,” described as a place where “arts and social justice” come together.
Color of Change was co-founded by Van Jones, the former Obama official who lost his job after Beck, then on Fox News, highlighted his radical communist connections by drawing on material from anti-communist blogger Trevor Loudon and others.
Jones had the last laugh, noting during an appearance at the Campaign for America’s Future conference that Beck had lost his job at Fox.
Soros’s Open Society Institute had provided $300,000 to Color of Change and its parent entity called the Citizen Engagement Laboratory. Executive director Robinson had previously worked as Senior Director of Media Programs for GLAAD, where he apparently learned the techniques of protesting the presence of conservative voices in the media.

If we've lost Fox News, we're sunk. I don't care that the have some opposing voices on there (Beckel, Shep "I Sneer At You" Smith, Alan "Cadaver" Colmes, etc.), but this is a very disturbing thing.
If we see her a lot on things like O'Reilly (where, no doubt, he'll be "fair and balanced" and soft-ball everything), then it's a sign of things to come.
Beck went off the rails for sure, but so what? There was no other show like his, and as "crazy" as a lot of his theories sounded, they kept coming true. He was no prophet or anything, but if you can have Colmes, Smith, Beckel and now Kohn, why no room for Beck or someone like him?
In "progressive" land, you ONLY get their voice. In "conservative" land, you MUST be fair and balanced and let all progressive voices spew their noxious talking points to cloud every discussion.
Yeah. Seems fair.

Um, he's been hired as a "contributor". This means he'll be on the shows and provide the foil for the conservative point of view. You cannot effectively present a political point of view without the opposite being presented. Give your head a shake.

Hate her-him! Hannity has her on his radio show all the time and she is so obnoxious. FOX is just as lame as all the rest. They made the decision to turn left a while ago, read an interview about it a while back.
The saudi billionaire who has a big share in FOX even calls Roger Ailes on the phone to give his advise!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Hannity should quit FOX if he had balls and integrity. He's a stupid wimp and I don't understand why Mark Levine thinks highly of him.

Sally is a 'he'? A radical leftist AND a cross-dressing lesbian to boot. Wow.
Yes, I'm giving my head a shake.
As I said, "fair and balanced" only works one way...conservatives must always give time to leftists. The left has ABC, NBC, CBS, PBS, NPR, The NY Times, The LA Times, The SF Chronicle, The Boston Globe, USA Today, Time Magazine, Newsweek Magazine (all of which present the "progressive" agenda in unadulterated form). Conservatives have Fox News. BY THUNDER, THAT IS JUST TOO ONE SIDED!! FOX MUST GIVE VOICE TO ALTERNATIVE POINTS OF VIEW!

Oh, it is much worse than that for us...Kohn = Cohen = Cohanim...much power for Good or....Evil.
This is a SAD milestone for those who love G-d.

The power of money!
Does anyone doubt that Soros holds enough shares to give Murdoch the jitters?
Murdoch himself is not 'right-wing', neither is he an ideologue. He tries to keep it together, against the attacks from the commie hacks.
His heirs are leftist moonbats, so there won't be any change anytime soon.

Beck didn't go off the rails at all, mostly connected the dots and spoke the truth, something Fox couldn't stomach, then Fox appeased and kissed the a** of those who wanted the truth concealed. Didn't take long for Fox to get infiltrated, bunch of wimps.
Posted by: fern | Friday, January 20, 2012 at 06:30 PM
Beck absolutely went off the rails, though in my opinion it was after he was off Fox's air. But that's another story.
If Fox wants to give this lesbian-hater air time, they have ONE chance to redeem themselves, and that's if they make mince-meat out of her every time she speaks. It it helps further the "See? THIS is what we're up against" narrative, then OK. If not, it's time to pull their plug.
By the way, a site some here may visit, Moonbattery, has gone over the edge in trying to destroy Gingrich. I absolutely don't think he is perfect, and he's got some progressive ideas I could live without. That said, he's more on our side than Romney, and he could tear Obama a new one in a debate.
Moonbattery talks big "conservative" talk, but they've trashed EVERY SINGLE CANDIDATE that has any chance of defeating Obama. If Fox and so-called conservative websites are heading down this road, we're in big trouble.
Now...what's all this about the Mossad wanting to whack Obama? Just heard this.

I'm sure this does not bode well or the late "fair and balanced" FauxNews Channel either.......

This is NOT good. This is SO disturbing. Beck is the reason why I was able to get my home rescinded after our home Foreclosed last year, because he was exposing corruption. George Soros owns my bank. I used to be a Bank Auditor, and worked in Advertising for 16 years; I found Bank Fraud and Advertising Fraud. Soros needs to be in Prison next to Madoff for a LONG time. So sad that people/news organizations are MORE concerned about their pocketbook than values!

I wasn't familiar with Sally Kohn but looking briefly at a few clips she seems more like an object of humor at Fox than someone who is truly "respected." Having Sally Kohn on gives Fox the chance to prove that they aren't homophobic bigots after all. I doubt she's going to convince anybody of anything.

Can someone tell my why Liberal/Progressive women are so damned ugly? Is it a he/she or a she/he? Sort of hard to tell. As a female, she/he looks like a carpet muncher, but I have nothing against that. She reminds me of Janeane Garofalo, another trash mouth Liberal that is about as interesting as a dog turd. Guess I won't be watching Fox anymore, not that I did very much anyway.
Posted by: OldNYFirefighter | Friday, January 20, 2012 at 11:30 PM
I think maybe we've got this all wrong. Perhaps we should keep these idiots where we can see 'em and where there are some people to shoot them down when they spew their bile.
That won't happen on, say, CNN or MSNBC. It might on Fox. If they let her speak, then immediately dismantle her diatribes, it could be that this is a clever move.
Let's see what happens before we totally dismiss Fox News.
(If, on the other hand, a limp-wrist like O'Reilly tries to be supportive of an "alternative point of view", then forget it.)

Before the 2008 election, I heard that Soros, upset that O'Reilly & Hannity were giving him too much bad press, Told Murdoch that if it didn't stop, Soros and his buddy, Peter Lewis would make Rupert sorry. True? Who knows. The attention to Soros on FNC stopped!

The left needs to be represented and who better than Beckel and Kohn. They both serve as comic relief, Beckel, who is a legend in his own mind void of any intellectual functioning. Kohn, a real life Mrs. Potatoe Head, I await the next group of pieces used to change the strange expressions on her face!

I noticed a change in Fox News and now only go there to get news that won't be spun. They are selling out and it is noticeable. Rush said it best, don't go to the networks, they wantto make you so they can break you.
Posted by: joy52 | Saturday, January 21, 2012 at 10:29 AM
I've had to boycot FoxNews since the arabs bought them out and changed their editorial policy. I now get my news from the internet and GBTV.
Posted by: Pazuzu | Saturday, January 21, 2012 at 10:55 AM
That's a lot of "change," which is exactly what Obama did promise. The alliance between Leftist (supremacist) elitists and the global jihad becomes more and more obvious.
Posted by: Mary | Saturday, January 21, 2012 at 12:02 PM
I've noticed FOX leaning left for some time especially with Bill O'Reilly. He is a total suck-up to Obama just so he can get an interview and then talk about himself being such a great interviewer. NOT. He's also very jealous of Rush and puts him down constantly without mentioning him by name. Bill tried radio and failed. Come to think of it, maybe Beck was fired because he was popular and actually telling the truth that O'Reilly only claims to tell. Bill can't take the real competition. FOX just might be a thing of the past for real conservatives.

Murdoch, remember, also supports amnesty for illegal aliens and open borders, and is a globalist/internationalist to boot. Hardly "conservative" positions. And that was before Saudi Prince Alwaleed began to get his clammy claws on Fox's parent News Corp. Furthermore, many of the shows that the sister Fox network puts on (most notably the homocentric Glee) is not exactly "conservative" in even the remotest sense. And then there are some of the movies 20th Century Fox put out - including, a few years ago, the pro-illegal alien, pro-open borders movie Machete.
And yet even with this Soros puppet now being hired, the uber-left will still yell and scream that Fox News is "ultra right-wing."

I listened to her a few weeks ago ( I think on O'Riley), and was perplexed at her contributions as did not know who she was or the platform from which she comes. Her agenda however, was quite clear.
I figured she's just another Juan Williams effort to keep things 'Fair and Balanced'. Still makes one want to puke incessantly. The problem with this notion is simply this: we don’t need to continually see the counterfeit to identify the real thing.

I've also seen this woman on FOX recently and she is pretty tough to take... She sits there with this sneering, smug, extremely ugly look on her face throughout, except for when the conservative ( or whomever) is stating their view. Then her expression changes to one of those smirking, rolling-eyed, heavy-sighing, "I'm SO intellectually, culturally and morally superior to this hayseed" look, as if she's trying her hardest to keep her patience in the face of such lame-brained adversity. She is truly nauseating. Beckel and Sneerin' Shep I can take; they infrequently say things based on common sense. This is taking Fair & Balanced in a whole different direction. No wonder GB left. I knew this slug was different; now I know why. Thanks, Pam.

As a woman, I must say.. that her look leaves much to be desired..
Ever hear of a lipstick Lesbian, lady ???? Do something with your hair..and while you're at it..stuff that teabag down your throat.
Your attitude is such that WE AMERICANS don't really have a choice but do go "Your way" or it's the Soros Gulag..
I read you loud and clear. I'm a woman. A woman can read another woman very well.
Well Miss I HAVE NO STYLE , BUT I DO HAVE A BIG MOUTH AND A BIG BOSS... I think it will do you well if you were to spew your venomous crap outside of our United States. You're not an American, not by our God given-not Soros-given, standards.. Go stand with the AL Qaeda or Ima'nutjob in Iran .. see how well you're really treated there.. ESPECIALLY when they find out you're gay.
On thing you better remember is never-and I do mean NEVER come into a room of American military wives..you'll be chewed up and spit out into the small, slimey parts of what was a human being at one time back when you were a baby..
If you think you and yours are going to march your cocky butts into our country and just takeover like we're a school yard children, you'd better think twice, then think twice again..Our courageous men that fight so that this country is free enough so the darkest of evil in this world like you, can stand up and spew your lies and threaten us is only part of it.. the next is actually taking us on.. Believe me, there will be those of us that will delight in taking you down personally, Soros will be dying a very painful death. He's a old man..that is alive only because Satan himself is keeping him alive. You, Ms hairdo of 1920 is on the same list..
Good always wins over evil. You may think you're destroying FOX but there's good people there and they will not be silenced for long.

This is why we need to support the Conservative New Media, and support Conservative Bloggers!
If Conservatives in the new media had some real backing, we COULD put our own people on TV, we COULD have a network that isn't a leftist tool and we COULD effectively get the truth out to people who right now only have access tot he 24/7 leftist propaganda!

What is it Fox News calls themselves? Oh yeah, Fair and Balanced. Now they can truthfully say that.
Fox News contributor is not the same as anchor. She will write some articles, be on some shows regularly to give the liberal talking points and views. It's a good thing. It lets other sides into the conversation. What? Do you want just conservatives talking sweetly to each other on FOX? THat's stupid.

Posted by: Hamish | Monday, January 30, 2012 at 03:20 AM
This one lesbian makes little difference at this point. Fox News SERIOUSLY lost its "fair and balanced" illusion when they went on their knees for the Republican establishment and whored themselves out to the "anyone-but-Ron-Paul" coverage game in the primaries. IF they had covered him like any other candidate, good AND bad, it would be fair game to present ALL the candidates and let the viewers make up their own minds and vote accordingly. But nope; they HAD to "make the better choice for us" by presenting Romney as "the presumed, electable candidate" and everyone else in the field as "the anti-Romney", except for Ron Paul, who they either ignore or try to demonize daily.
Fair and balanced, my arse! So one MORE Progressive there isn't going to make that much difference. They ALREADY sold their souls and their integrity over Ron Paul. Hope they can get the taste out of their mouths before some OTHER media source steps in and does to them what they did to CNN.
