"God's curse on them for generations. ... They betrayed Islam."
"May the devil shit on their graves. Is that what a daughter should be? Would a daughter be such a whore?" -- Muslim dad woho honor killed his three daughters and wife.
"I would do it again 100 times," said Mohammad Shafia, who murdered his THREE daughters in honour killing for dating the wrong boys.
CNN just did an entire report on the Shafia honor killings, noting that "interrogations of the family never uncovered a motive." Mohammad Shafia, however, declared that his daughters' betrayal of Islam was his motive.
These are the lengths the dhimmedia will go to in its self-enforcement of sharia. CNN, the Crescent New Network.
AFDI/SIOA will be hosting the first-ever human rights conference dedicated to exposing the plight of women under Islamic law in Dearborn, Michigan on the anniversary of the honor murder of Jessica Mokdad: the Jessica Mokdad Human Rights Conference. We’ve named the Conference after her as part of our ongoing campaign to raise awareness and bring a stop to the phenomenon of Islamic honor killing. These girls have rights, too, they’re human beings, and yet they’re completely forgotten in our politically correct culture, in which speech that is offensive to Islam is increasingly forbidden. We’re standing for the human rights of girls like Jessica Mokdad. Join us, fight the islamization of America and fight the dehumanizaton and diminishment of women.
CNN's deceit on the motive of the Shafia is a crime against women and humanity.
CNN Conceals Motive Behind Canadian Honor Killings David WoodOn June 30, 2009, Mohammad Shafia, with the help of his wife Tuba and his son Hamed, murdered his three daughters and his other wife in Ontario, Canada. The wealthy Shafia family worked quickly to conceal their actions, staging a car accident and weeping for their daughters. The media rushed to support the grieving family, until evidence showed that the girls' deaths were no accident.
Yesterday, CNN posted a video about the murders, noting that "interrogations of the family never uncovered a motive." Indeed, the closest CNN comes to identifying a motive in the killings is when the reporter says that the Shafia family comes "from a very conservative Afghan background."
Yes, it's the family's Afghan background, rather than some other background, that is most relevant to this case. At no point in the video does CNN use the words "Islam" or "Muslim."
This is all the more disturbing when we consider that Mohammad Shafia himself, in a recorded conversation, identifies his daughters' betrayal of Islam as his motive for the killings. He declares:
"They betrayed kindness. They betrayed Islam. They betrayed our religion and creed. They betrayed our tradition. They betrayed everything."
Shafia was so confident that his actions were justified, he had absolutely no remorse for killing his daughters:
"God curse their generation, they were filthy and rotten children."
"To hell with them and their boyfriends, may the devil shit on their grave."
“Even if they come back to life a hundred times, if I have a cleaver in my hand, I will cut (them) in pieces.”Yet CNN remains puzzled about Shafia's motive. I assume CNN is also puzzled about why Muslims commit 91 percent of the world's honor killings. But there's a difference between (a) being puzzled due to ignorance of Islamic teachings, and (b) willfully concealing the stated motive of a group of murderers. By deliberately leaving Islam out of the equation, CNN has joined in the cover up.
Reliance of the Traveller: On Killing Offspring
Much thanks to Kamala for scanning these pages from one of the most important English-language sources for the content of Islamic law: Reliance of the Traveller: A Classic Manual of Islamic Sacred Law:
It is certified by Al-Azhar University as a translation that "corresponds to the Arabic original and conforms to the practice and faith of the orthodox Sunni Community...":
Here is the certification in Arabic:
Note that this Sharia manual also garners respect in the USA. Dr. Alan Godlas, Associate Professor of Religion at the University of Georgia, calls it a "carefully translated manual of the proper practice of Islam (shari'a) according to the Shafi'i madh'hab. It has been an essential book in the library of any serious English speaking Muslim or scholar of Islam since its publication in 1991."
In Book O, titled "Justice," in section 1, "Who is Subject to Retaliation for Injurious Crimes," section o1.1 reads, "Retaliation is obligatory ... against anyone who kills a human being purely intentionally and without right...":
However, o1.2 clarifies (above) that "The following are not subject to retaliation" and then lists — after the lovely, egalitarian "Muslim for killing a non-Muslim" and "Jewish or Christian subject ... for killing an apostate" — "(4) a father or mother (or their fathers or mothers) for killing their offspring, or offspring's offspring":

" Dear Mrs. Olson,
At the request of several colleagues, I am writing this letter which I am hopeful will shed light on why there is such an uproar from your community about having representatives of the Council on American Islamic Relations come into any schools in your county.
I am former FBI Special Agent with a deep understanding and experience with the Islamic Movement and Muslim Brotherhood in America. Attached is a letter signed by several senior government officials, including a former Director of Central Intelligence, supporting my work.
To the point, the Council on American Islamic Relations (CAIR) is a part of the Muslim Brotherhood’s Palestine Committee in the United States. The Palestine Committee is Hamas in America. I have also attached a self-explanatory powerpoint presentation detailing a small portion of the evidence that CAIR is a Hamas entity. I suspect you are aware Hamas is a designated Foreign Terrorist Organization by the United States government. Three slides demonstrate CAIR is a part of the MB’s Palestine Committee including:
Page 5 of the List of Unindicted Co-Conspirators in the US v Holy Land Foundation case (the largest terrorism financing and Hamas trial ever successfully prosecuted in US history). CAIR is listed as a member of the “Muslim Brotherhood’s Palestine Committee”
A letter dated February 12, 2010 from Assistant Attorney General of the United States Ronald Weich to Congresswoman Sue Myrick (NC) stating:
“Evidence…was introduced in that trial which demonstrated a relationship among CAIR, individual CAIR founders, and the Palestine Committee. Evidence was also introduced that demonstrated a relationship between the Palestine Committee and Hamas.”
A letter signed by five (5) members of Congress to ALL Members of Congress encouraging them to cease all dealings with CAIR because the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) has cut off official ties with them because of CAIR’s relationship with Hamas.
With this said, it is important to note that now you are aware of this information, further direct dealings with leaders of Hamas doing business as CAIR means you would be doing so with the knowledge of who they are. This constitutes “Reckless Endangerment” of the students and employees in your school district, and likely also constitutes “Material Support of Terrorism” as defined by the U.S. Supreme Court’s ruling in June 2010 (Attorney General Holder v. Humanitarian Law Project). This opens you and the school district up to civil and criminal proceedings.
I assume your intention is/was to be open-minded and not support Hamas, I strongly encourage you to immediately cut off all ties and relationships to Hamas (dba CAIR) and their local/state/national representatives.
Please feel free to contact me with any questions.
Sincerely,
John D. Guandolo"

Now contrast this purposeful obtuseness to this:
"ANDERSON COOPER, HOST: So you are optimistic for this election? You think, no matter who the Republican candidates are, you think Obama is going to win?
BILL MAHER: Oh, definitely. My money is still on Mitt Romney. And I think he's going to get the nomination. And then I think Obama is going to beat him like a runaway sister wife. Yes, I do.
COOPER: Oh geez."

A sister wife is an obscure reference to Mormon polygamy. So Cooper knows all about Mormons when it comes to slandering Romney, but apparently not a thing about Islam. when it comes to a triple murder. Hmmm

Pamela,
I am watching Megyn Kelly on Fox News. She mentioned honor killings and two of the alleged murderers quotes; however, they haven't mentioned Islam yet.
There might be a discussion coming later. Continuing....

This case is basic Islam in practice. What the Prophet ordered.
Yet will anyone--anyone-in the running for the US Presidency address this not "extreme Islam" but basis Islam of the Prophet in practice?
We support the will of the Islamic Government of Afghanistan, did and do the same in Iraq and call it Victory, Success, wise expending of our children, blood and funds, though this is Islam. These acts, just basic sunnah of the Prophet.

CAIR's advise to these heathens is, "show no remorse"...

How long will people be blind ignoring that all is from god an all belongs to god but he established rules for us to obey and that is why the ten commandments were wrote! God is a spirit and the human body is a temple according to King james translation! There is no honor killing and the law is the law! Some might try to justify and change the law and say this and that...the law is the law and all have fallen short of god! U don't stone people from what a famous son said? Terrible that someone would kill thier children because dad disagreeded how they were living! Some lady was a hoho that was going to be stoned? But jesus spoke for her? People might disagree with religion but A shiek was charged for murder, laws around the world condemn killing ...but ignorant people kill and stupid wars get started!

David Wood is an idiot. And you should not have posted this without seeing the story for yourself, Pam. I actually meant to contact you yesterday to let you know about the unexpected surprise this story turned out to be.
CNN did not sanction or cover up the motive behind the killing. Law enforcement was unable to find a traditional motive -- that was the meaning of the phrase. I had fully expected CNN to produce a CAIR spokesperson or some imam to talk about how there is nothing honourable in murder, etc. But they didn't. They actually did an excellent, thorough report on the story -- totally unexpected, I know. They talked about the secret polygamous marriage, the abusive household, the fact that the 13-year-old was complaining at school and calling social workers. They reported all the horrible things the father said -- including how they'd betrayed Islam -- and they spoke to the totally awesome Christie Blatchford who has been covering the story here at home. You can read all her columns on the trial at The National Post.
CNN talked about honour killing loud and clear. Nobody said or even tried to suggtest it wasn't. And Anderson Cooper was clearly flabbergasted that Tooba Yaya (or whatever that horrid woman's name is) claimed to have never heard about honour killing before this trial.
But do keep a look out for any potential follow-up stories where they try to bring an imam in to talk about how there's nothing honourable in murder (we've had to read that crap here) and use the pages in the Koran provided above in the refutation.
I'm really disappointed in this report because it's bogus. We have enough problems fighting Islamic supremacism and can't afford to get things wrong.

It would have been more constructive to a) actually listen to the CNN story in its entirety and not freak out when they mentioned how law enforcement couldn't find a motive; b) thank CNN for running the story and; c) ask if they would investigate the incident involving that woman in Tampa (sorry I can't remember her name).

@Valerie Kohos (respectfully)
The point of the post isn't that CNN didn't identify honor killing as the nature of the crime, but rather that Islam as the motive for the honor killing was not specifically addressed. Being 'a conservative Afghan' suggests that being stuffy and of central Asian descent was the reason Shafia's honor was at issue. "Sharia Law, the Koran and Hadith required Shafia to kill his own wife and three daughters, and has so poisoned his mind that he freely asserts he would do the same if his flesh and blood returned to life a hundred times." was perhaps the quote Pam and Mr. Wood were looking for in the CNN report.
At least two of the commenters at the AC360 blog missed the Islam-Honor Killing connection:
Denise Lamb:
…it's not about Religion…
Haris:
…nothing to do with Islamic religion…

Thank you Michael. I did not read the AC360 blog so I didn't know what the commentators said. Clearly I misunderstood the point of Mr. Wood's post. I will try to stop and take a breath before replying in future.

@Valerie Kohos..You opened your comment by saying "David Wood is an idiot." However, you then stopped before going any further with that and left it an unsubstantiated statement. This doesn't surprise me as you would have one he77 of a time proving your statement. Perhaps if you would like to try, you could contact Mr. Wood and the 2 of you could figure out how to have a one on one debate with the topic being "David Wood is an Idiot", you for and he obviously against.
Although I would never presume to speak for Mr. Wood, I think, from what I have seen, that he is always up for a good debate so, as they say out east "Fill yer boots."
I somehow doubt that you will be going any further with that as you probably don't have the intellect or the debating skills to go up against Mr. Wood.
Cheers,

Why was this posted as posted by Posted "Underzog"?
I, Debi Brand, posted this and stated just that.
