"Anti-jihad posters provide this year's UN controversy" (Haaretz)
Just look at what we accomplished in 2012 with your help.
We won historic landmark free speech first cases against the government in New York and DC. "M.T.A. Violated Rights of Group," Judge Says By Benjamin Weiser, New York Times, and Reuters: "New York Bus System Can't Bar Pro-Israel, 'Defeat Jihad' Ads."
Wall Street Journal: 'Court Rejects MTA’s Ban Against Transit Ads'
Our anti-jihad subway and bus campaign forced the media to talk about what they themselves prohibit -- jihad and sharia. It was one of the biggest stories this year. This was part of a multi-pronged media attack forcing discussion and analysis of the gravest threat to our national security. We posted anti-sharia billboards and ran radio ads to counter Muslim Brotherhood billboard ads and radio ads promoting sharia. We expanded the "Support Israel" bus campaign to 100 NYC buses to include "Support the Troops, Defeat Jihad"; "Support the Copts, Defeat Jihad"; "Support the Bahais, Defeat Jihad"; "Support the Nigerian Christians, Defeat Jihad"; "Support the Hindus, Defeat Jihad"; et al.
And we have new ads going up in NY and DC to counter Hamas-CAIR's deceptive quran ads. Here is our new ad: NBC News on the new AFDI Quran ads
Our anti-jihad conferences and freedom rallies in Stockholm; our bringing the truth to conservatives at CPAC 2012: Islamic Law in America; the Honor Killing Human Rights Conference in Dearborn (FOX News coverage here); our Former Muslims for Freedom conference in Manhattan Beach; and our First International Freedom Congress at the UN on 911 sent shockwaves across the world.
We exposed pro-sharia media bias when we submitted an exact replica of an anti-Catholic ad that ran in the NY Times, exchanging the falsehoods about Catholicism with truth about Islam. The New York Times refused our ad but ran the anti-Catholic ad. It made television and mainstream media news round the world: VIDEO: Pamela Geller on FOX News Discussing NY Times Hypocrisy
We formed a worldwide alliance in Stockholm, SION (Stop Islamization of Nations) functioning under a President's council that functions as a mobile, proactive, reactive on-the-ground team developing and executing confidential action plans that strike at the heart of the global anti-freedom agenda. The President's Council are SIOE's Anders Gravers; Tommy Robinson and Kevin Carroll of the EDL; Debbie Robinson of the Q Society of Australia, Robert Spencer and me. I am honored to have been elected President. In addition to Stockholm and our first world conference on 911, we are assisting Tommy Robinson in his legal fight and wrongful imprisonment in the cause of freedom.

A “defeat jihad” advertisement that represents the latest clash between the nation’s commitment to free speech and its responsibility to protect against terrorism is headed to a D.C. district court this week — and possibly to Metro stations. The American Freedom Defense Initiative, an advocacy group that warns against the Islamization of America, submitted advertisements for the New York City subway and the Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority system. The proposed advertisement reads: “In any war between the civilized man and the savage, support the civilized man,” with the tagline: “Support Israel/Defeat Jihad.”
Monday, October 01, 2012 Wall Street Journal in support of anti-jihad ads: "Call a Terrorist a 'Savage'? How Uncivilized" William McGurn, Wall Street Journal, October 1, 2012 10:12 pm
An anti-jihad message is 'hate speech' by today's topsy-turvy standards.
"In any war between the civilized man and the savage, support the civilized man. Support Israel. Defeat Jihad."
So reads an advertisement that went up a week ago in New York City subway stations. Sponsored by Pamela Geller's American Freedom Defense Initiative, the ads were meant to provoke, and they did. Denunciations poured in, activists plastered "racist" and "hate speech" stickers over the ads, and an Egyptian-American activist even got herself arrested after spray-painting one poster pink.
Establishment opinion quickly rallied to a consensus. As the Washington Post put it, while the words could be read as "hateful," "an offensive ad" nonetheless has the "right to offend." A rabbi summed up the media orthodoxy in the headline over her column for CNN: "A right to hate speech, a duty to condemn."
But the biggest drama so far this year surrounds a controversial advertising campaign in New York Metro stations. The campaign features posters, purchased by anti-Islam blogger Pamela Geller's American Freedom Defense Initiative, which say "In any war between the civilized man and the savage, support the civilized man," and lower down, "Support Israel; Defeat jihad."

A Manhattan federal court judge ruled in July that the MTA violated the First Amendment rights of the group seeking to place the ad, The American Freedom Defense Initiative.
The ad states "In any war between the civilized man and the savage, support the civilized man.'' It adds, "Support Israel. Defeat Jihad,'' in between two Stars of David.
Pamela Geller of the American Freedom Defensive Initiative doesn't think the poster will provoke opposition after last week's deadly assault on the US Consulate in Libya and following days of protests in the Middle East.
"How have world conditions changed?" she asked. "When is a good time?"
Here's a glimpse of the enemedia coverage of our anti-jihad ads.
New York Magazine snarks at the "timing," as if there were a good or better time to blaspheme. When, then? After the World Trade Center bombing in 1993, when there were no "provocations"? After the Cole bombing? After 7/7 in London? After 3/11 in Madrid? After the Fort Hood jihadi? After the Times Square bombing? After the Christmas balls bomber? After the teacher inadvertently named a classroom teddy bear Muhammad (at the students' request) and became a target for death and the object of rioting across the Muslim world? After the Fogel murders? After Ambassador Stevens and three US diplomats were murdered? After a youtube video that offends Muhammad? After Danish moe-toons? After French moe-toons? After Swedish moe-toons? When is it OK to blaspheme under the sharia? Anytime.
