Hip-hop mogul and social activist Russell Simmons slammed hardware giant Lowe’s for its decision to pull its ads from TLC’s All-American Muslim reality show and warned the company could face outrage from civil rights groups beyond the Muslim community.
Russell Simmons is shilling for supremacism. Who'd a thunk it? Why isn't Simmons using his influence to inform his "fans" about the jihad against blacks in Sudan? Libya? Kenya? Abd (Arabic: عبد) is an Arabic word meaning one slave or black (interchangeable) -- one who is totally subordinated; a slave or a servant. Why isn't Simmons using his considerable influence to inform his "fans" about Islamic honor killings, clitorectomies, child marriages, forced marriage and the dehumanization of women -- especially in light of the fact that Russell has daughters? Is Simmons that clueless?
Advertisers should be free to choose where they place their ads and what message they wish to finance. Period. I have never called for the removal of the deceptive and silly TV show All-American Muslim. But I will not support advertisers who advertise on it. Advertisers should be demanding equal time -- TV shows on Jewish families and Indian families and Sikh families; Zoroastrians, too.
"The danger is, it's misleading. The Muslims portrayed in the show are free to choose their path. That is the beauty of living in a free society. But so many aren't, not only in Muslim countries, but here in America," Pamela Geller said.
"Who speaks for Jessica Mokdad who lived not far from where this show is taping? Mokdad was honor murdered by her stepfather, Rahim Alfetlawi, for 'not following Islam'. That happened in the same city that refuses to run my freedom bus ads. The ads were designed to help girls like Jessica. Despite our free speech victories in the Detroit court, Mokdad was honor murdered the week my ads were supposed to run," Geller said.
"The danger is in the deception and obfuscation of the truth which results in the intellectual disarming of the American people..."
If you missed my column on this, go here.
Advertisers like Lowes are choosing not run their ads on this propaganda. Good for them. The idea that Russel Simmons is threatening and intimidating is indicative of how little Simmons knows of sharia and Islam. Islamic racism is monstrous and is rampant today.
It's attached to not only past & present Slaves but to any blacks in general have been called the pejorative "Abid," which means black slave by northerners and the racist janjaweed Arab militas. From "Complicity with evil": the United Nations in the age of modern genocide (Adam LeBor): The Sudanese soldiers and Janjaweed abuse their victims as “Abid” or “Zurka,” meaning slave or “dirty black.”, as the Janjaweed "clings to the notion of Arab racial identity," racism . Arabs (mainly the elite) in Sudan call non-Arab Africans abid or slave, and zurga, which means Black, but is used as a racial slur. The State Department report documents that Janjaweed raiders commonly use racial epithets such as, "Kill the slaves; Kill the slaves!" and "We have orders to kill all the black." Royal African Society says that the character of Arab supremacism is manifest in a racist vocabulary and in sexual violence. the term abid, to refer to all Darfurians, has been adopted by Some Arab supremacists to refer to non-Arab Darfurians. "'Abid also calls to mind the ambition for the Arabs to become masters of the hakura, with the other inhabitants reduced to subjugate." It has been especially during rapes of non-Arab women by the Arab fighters they've been calling the girls such Arabic slurs as “zurga” (black) and “abid.” In another example, Hamesa (the victim) said, using a derogatory word meaning "blacks."'They said, You are abid, abid, abid. You cannot stay here", They said, we'll kill all the men in the village and we'll leave the women in the village like slaves to help us do everything we want."
like other non-Arab minortities in the Middle East, blacks in Iraq have history of suffering racism from Arabs, The lighter-skinned children called her abid, which means slave. Black Iraqis consider it a serious insult. "Discrimination exists in our community," one black Iraqi has put it:" "When I hear Abid (slave), the first thing that comes to mind is a black man or black woman." An author says "They called Haweya (her sister) and I Abid, which means, 'Slaves'. Being called a slave - the racial prejudice this term conveyed - was a big part of what I hated in Saudi Arabia".
Why isn't Simmons calling for a show on Islamic racism and slavery? Shame on Simmons.
Russell Simmons looks to bully Lowe’s for pulling ‘Muslim’ ads by creeping
Dhimmi’s like Russell Simmons, many in our government and in the media think Americans must submit to Islam. We will never submit nor be silenced. Recall Simmons is a partner in the Ground Zero victory mosque and shills for Islam regularly. via Russell Simmons blasts Lowe’s for pulling ‘Muslim’ ads | Inside TV | EW.com.
Hip-hop mogul and social activist Russell Simmons slammed hardware giant Lowe’s for its decision to pull its ads from TLC’s All-American Muslim reality show and warned the company could face outrage from civil rights groups beyond the Muslim community.“This can’t happen in America; [Lowe's] needs to fix this immediately,” Simmons said, calling the move Islamophobic. “They can’t get away with that, it’s ridiculous. There are American principals at stake here. I can’t imagine the Anti-Defamation League, the NAACP, the National Urban League, or any organization that fights for their own rights will allow this to happen to any other group because they know they’re next.”
The Def Jam founder is chairman of the The Foundation for Ethnic Understanding, which promotes racial and inter-faith harmony — particularly among Muslim-Jewish relations. He notes his organization consists of “hundreds of imams and rabbis who work together to promote harmony around this country.”
“If I go to work on this,” Simmons said, “they’re not even going to believe it. This is not going to be a Muslim fight. I don’t want to take my time and start a boycott — don’t make me do that.”
Meanwhile, Muslims are waging jihad on Lowe’s for responding to customer concerns and claiming that “Lowe’s hates Muslims.”
Lowe’s says it pulled the ads due to a wide array of concerns about the show. “The program raised concerns, complaints, or issues from multiple sides of the viewer spectrum, which we found after doing research of news articles and blogs covering the show,” a Lowe’s spokesperson said. “We based our decision to pull the advertising on this research and after hearing the concerns we received through emails, calls, through social media and in news reports. It is certainly never Lowe’s intent to alienate anyone. Lowe’s values diversity of thought.”
But Simmons says pulling the ads was “a stupid thing to do” and called on the company to reverse its stance and support the show.
“This is a press nightmare for them,” Simmons said. “This country is built on religious freedom. This is the kind of hate that tears this country apart.”
This isn’t about religious freedom – and it’s Islam that tears countries apart. Check your history.
Muslims make up about 1% of the U.S. population. Those that Islam calls to be converted to Islam make up the remaining approximately 99%.

UPDATE: A craven lawmaker seeks to exploit this non-story. Lowes chose not to advertise. That's it. Are we going to force advertisers to finance propaganda or taqiyya?

A California state senator called on home improvement chain Lowe's to apologize for pulling advertising from a TV show featuring the lives of Muslim families.
Lowe's pulled advertising from Discovery Channel/TLC's "All-American Muslim" after the Florida Family Assn. complained about the show, which it called "propaganda that riskily hides the Islamic agenda’s clear and present danger to American liberties and traditional values.”
State Sen. Ted Lieu (D-Torrance) wrote a letter Saturday to Lowe's Chief Executive Officer Robert A. Niblock in which he called the decision to pull advertising from the show "bigoted, shameful, and un-American" and "profoundly ignorant." He demanded that the company rescind its action and apologize or face boycotts and legislative action.
"Lowe’s religious discrimination is the equivalent of a company asserting that it is pulling advertising from the Christian Broadcast Network’s 700 Club because the program somehow 'riskily hides' the agenda of Christian radicalized groups such as Aryan Nation," Lieu wrote. "That assertion would, of course, be utter nonsense and religious bigotry."
Lowe's issued a statement in which it apologized for having "managed to make some people very unhappy" but did not say it would reinstate advertising on the show.
