It would be comical if the narrative weren't so evocative of the Nazis. Special condemnations for Jews. Special rules for Jews. And in foreign policy, the Islamic world, like Nazi Germany, uses a strategy of making aggressive demands and threatening war if they are not met.
Rockets were fired into Israel from Lebanon last week -- an act of war, no doubt, except when the target is Israel. The tiny Jewish state responded with artillery shells. Lebanon has filed a complaint with the UN, alleging that the IDF action was a violation of UNSC Resolution 1701, which ended the Second Lebanon War, as well as international law.
Firing on Jews for religious reasons (Islamic Jew-hatred) is sanctioned by the UN, but Jewish self defense is a violation of Resolution 1701 and interntional law? Clearly the filing of these charges is theatre. The objective is to set precedent at the toothless, OIC-driven UN. Any response from Israel will be met with world condemnation -- easy with Obama in the White House.
When Hezb'Allah declared war on Israel from southern Lebanon in the summer of 2006 and Israel kicked their sorry jihad asses, the UN brokered a ceasefire -- resolution 1701.

So how come Iranian proxy Hezb'allah operates in Lebanon with impunity and enjoys a constant flow of arms from Iran and Syria? Why wasn't Hezb'allah disarmed under 1701?
John Bolton in January 2007 said here:
I think that the enhanced UNIFIL which was agreed to with a lot of fanfare as part of resolution 1701 has not been successful in fully accomplishing the mission that we wanted to give to it. There's no doubt Syria and Iran have very substantially resupplied and rearmed Hezb'Allah. The UNIFIL people have done essentially nothing about it. Those shipments across the Lebanese Syrian border have been reported by the UN itself not something that comes just from the United States. It could be we are coming to a day of reckoning here on resolution 1701 and whether the cessation of hostilities that was established between Hezb'Allah and Israel is going to remain acceptable.
I would hope the United States in the near future begins to take the next step that we made a conscious decision not to make in 1701 and that is disarming Hezb'Allah.
The unspoken premise of 1701 was first you stop them from getting external assistance by imposing an arms embargo but then the next step is to disarm Hezb'allah and we have not done anything on that. We are at the point , we have got to move to that second step. (more here)
Islamic surpemacists have not met any of the conditions of 1701, so this is even more outrageous on its face. They can attack Israel with impunity, but Israel faces condemnation if she responds. The objective? Make Israel one big death camp.
Under international law, Resolutions 1701 is at best a declarative statement of sentiment that lacks legal authority or enforcement power whatsoever . The recommendations spelled-out in the resolution can not be imposed on the parties concerned.
Lebanon files UN complaint against Israel JPOST.COM STAFF
Officials in Beirut say IDF artillery response to Katyusha rockets was a violation of UNSC Res. 1701 and of international law.
Lebanon filed a complaint in the United Nations against Israel Monday for its retaliation to Katyusha rockets fired into Israel late last month, Lebanese newspaper the Daily Star reported.
In response to the four rockets fired from Lebanon, the IDF pounded the launch sites with artillery shells. The Lebanese report claimed that only one rocket was fired from Lebanon into Israel and that the IDF fired six artillery shells.
The UN complaint alleges that the IDF action was a violation of UNSC Resolution 1701, which ended the Second Lebanon War, as well as international law.
Immediately following the rocket attack the IDF filed a complaint with the United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon (UNIFIL), which launched an investigation into the attack. The UN force called for restraint from both sides.
“This is a serious incident in violation of UN Council Security Resolution 1701 and is clearly directed at undermining stability in the area,” a UNIFIL statement said.
An organization associated with al-Qaida claimed responsibility for firing the rockets.
The IDF said it held the Lebanese government responsible for the attacks and that it needed to take action to prevent future rocket fire. Home Front Defense Minister Matan Vilna’i said that “the Lebanese government is responsible for everything that happens in Lebanon and everything that leaves its borders.”Heil Allah!Bahrain, Egypt, Lebanon, Tunisia, Jordan.......... the rise of Islamic supremacism.Members of Sunni pro-Hezbollah fighters called "Saraya al-Muqawama al-Lubnaniya", salute as they pay respect at the grave of the assassinated Hezbollah military commander Imad Moughniyeh marking the third anniversary of his assassination in the southern suburbs of Beirut, February 13, 2011.
