SECOND UPDATE: Smietana keeps writing me, insisting that he didn't feed his story to Hamas-tied CAIR before it went live. It certainly seemed that way, since CAIR sent out the link before it worked, and since Smietana is well established as a tool of Hamas-tied CAIR, but I'll give him the benefit of the doubt: maybe it was a computer glitch.
UPDATE: This morning both of anti-freedom journalist Bob Smietana's Tennessean articles about the conference had been taken down, so I wrote to him and asked why. He didn't address my question, but wrote to me that this post contained a "factual error" and claimed: "CAIR did not receive a copy of our story before it went live. No one gets copies of our stories before they go live." However, Hamas-linked CAIR's "American Muslim News Briefs" email for October 31 contained this: "Tenn. Anti-Sharia Event Moved to Church, Pam Geller Drops Out." The words "Pam Geller Drops Out" were linked to a link that was originally dead, but which later featured Smietana's first story about the cancellation of the conference. If they didn't receive a copy, how did CAIR have the link before the story even went up?
---------------------
The notoriously pro-jihad religious writer, Bob Smietana, published this update to the craven act of cowardice by the Hutton Hotel. I strongly urge Atlas readers to continue to contact Hutton management and stand with the voices of freedom.
I told Smietana this: "The Preserving Freedom Conference was canceled by the Hutton Hotel. We were not able to get another public space for it. We could not get another hotel. A new, different conference has been scheduled for a church. While I have nothing against speaking in a church per se, I refuse to have my message driven from the public square. What's next? Secret meetings? A White Rose Society? I have been invited to speak at the new conference, but right now I'm more concerned with the marginalization and ghettoizing of our message of freedom. I am not going to consent to the attempts of the Left and Islamic supremacists to drive our defense of freedom from public spaces."
Smietana has it wrong -- it was not moved it was canceled. Cornerstone is an altogether different event.
The quislings at the Hutton Hotel and Amerimar Enterprises have disconnected their phones and closed their email boxes. But you can still reach them at the general numbers:

From the Tennessean -- BTW, the Hamas-tied, anti-Jewish group CAIR had the link to this story before it was live (they linked it in their email alert). That's how in bed Bob Smietana is with the jihadists:
Preserving Freedom, an anti-Shariah conference originally scheduled to be held at the Hutton Hotel in Nashville, will be held at Cornerstone Church in Madison.
The group was kicked out of the Hutton, hotel management says, over safety concerns.
Conference organizer William Murray says 300 people are signed up for the Nov. 11 event -- more than were registered before the cancellation.
However, headliner Pamela Geller, who runs the Atlas Shrugs anti-Islam blog, bowed out, saying she wouldn’t be forced to speak in a church rather than a secular setting, Murray says. He is trying to get her to change her mind.
The group is considering legal options and a boycott against the Hutton.
