St George's Church in Al Marinab, Edfu, attacked and burned by Muslim fanatics Coptic World

St George's Church in the village of Al Marinab of the province of Edfu was attacked and burned by Muslim fanatics from the same and neighboring villages. This church was attacked several weeks ago by the same mob of Muslims who demanded to remove its cross. Today, they succeeded in doing so as they have been threatening for several days. They prayed their Friday prayers in front of the burned church. The fanatics numbered approximately 150. Three adjacent homes, a store as well as a building, all of which are owned by Copts, have also been burned.

No arrests were made. Muslim fanatics have prevented fire trucks from coming on the scene. No protection or justice has been promised for the Copts of the village has been pledged by authorities. Copts fear these acts will continue to increase as the government continues to allow these criminal acts to go unchecked. This is the fourth Coptic church to be destroyed by Muslims this year following the revolution.

their cowardice is truly magnificent. they get paid well, with every creature comfort known to man, and faith in a pretty good retirement at the right hand of god. the least they could do is be with the people they have consigned to martyrdom as the hands of islam.

I worked 15 years for the Catholic church. I have been writing what you have posted for two years now on this very topic. The Vatican has/is a total disgrace. The largest and by far richest Christian institution in the world has done little to nothing to stop the persecution of Christian by Islam all over the world. Jesus was very clear when he commanded St Peter to be the shepherd for his followers. A shepherd cares for and protects the flock against predators. The Vatican claims the popes are the successors to St Peter. If this is the case then the modern day Catholic church has failed Jesus in a big way and will on judgement have much to answer for.

It's tragic that NATO has become the tool of the Islamists and Progressives and is being used against free and democratic people-exactly the inverse of what they were created for.

I grew up in awe of NATO and expected it to be the bulwark against fascist ideologies trying to take over and now it's become this sick, decayed, diseased entity which confuses friends with enemies and vice versa.

The real problem begins at the top, the political elites/leadership. They all need to be replaced by the kind of patriots who fought in WW2.

Things are getting really terrible in Europe and just as I suspected ages ago, the "radical" muslims will be doing most of their evil in the cover of darkness and out of the media spotlight.

I just shared this article on my Facebook page, and a friend of mine said "Maybe it isn't true" That was the answer when I posed the question "Don't you wonder WHY we never hear of any of this from our media?!?! I know I do!"

I'm now wondering just how many Americans come across articles of this nature and think "Oh this can't be true, I don't trust the media, it's all a lie". I must say I was shocked that he even suggested it was not true. And his last comment was "What do muslims look like anyway?" I answered that he would know, if he were Christian and in Egypt, they would be the ones beating him, throwing thins at him, raping his wife and destroying churches.
