This is the same toxic propaganda being spoon-fed to our children in the public schools, the culture, and their schoolbooks. Much thanks to Tennessee reader Phillip, who sent this in.
It was not always so -- scroll to the scan below the post. That is a page from the Standard Encyclopedia from the late 1960s.
This page was in the comics section of the Knoxville News Sentinel on Sunday, July 31. I’m not sure if you’re familiar with it, but the “Mini Page” is a weekly insert that is included as part of the Sunday comics, and is obviously geared toward children. It usually contains educational material, fun and games, all related to the weeks topic. Usually they have harmless topics, but as you can see, last Sundays topic was all but harmless.
I was appalled to find that not only did it highlight Islam, but it encouraged children (per the first headline on the page) to celebrate the Muslim holiday of Ramadan. It goes on to explain what the Muslim faith is about (you can probably guess how much actual truth is in it) and what the Muslims believe. It follows up with a hidden picture game where you are asked to find Islamic items, and a crossword with Islamic terms.
I’d venture to say that very few parents “police” the “Comics” section of the Sunday paper before letting their children read the comics. Hec…it almost got past me. I’d venture to say that people would be up in arms if this page would have been plastered with “Jesus” and encouragement to celebrate and worship like a Christian. I’ll be they wouldn’t even dare put anything on the “Mini Page” like that for fear of being tarred and feathered. This slipped right through though, and I’ve noticed little if any negative reaction here in the Knoxville area. They are slipping this through to our children right under our noses and we are none the wiser.
Our children are being brainwashed right under our noses. It no surprise that they grow up thinking Islam is a “peaceful” religion.
Here is a page from the Standard Reference Encyclopedia (late 1960s). First off, they actually depicted Muhammad, something they would never, ever do now. And secondly, look at the description, "Mohammed, founder of Islam, with the sword and the Koran, symbols of his faith."
That was then -- this is now.
I went and checked my World Book (hardcover) Encyclopedia from 2001 (pre-911) and was shocked to find that the crime of whitewashing and propaganda was already in full practice. No photos of Muhammad. No mention of jihad wars, land appropriations, cultural annihilations or enslavements. No mention of the sword.
Instead, Islamic propaganda provided by Ali Hassan Abdel-Kader, with additional sourcing by dhimmi extraordinaire, Karen Armstrong.
They actually printed this:
He [Muhammad] banned war and violence except for self defnse and for the cause of Islam."
Huh? Is that scholarship?
"Muhammad brought a new message to his people. .... He taught them there was only one God."
Uh, the Jews did that.
"He preached against the injustice of the wealthy classes in Meccca, and tried to help the poor."
I kid you not.
"He limited polygyny (marriage to more than one wife)."
But World Book never tells us that a Muslim man is limited to four wives.
It gors on and on, and this was over ten years ago You have no idea how infiltrated we are by these moles for Moe, and how entrenched they are.
UPDATE: HC tells me Hamas-linked CAIR is donating Karen Armstrong's books to libraries across the USA. (Maybe you know that Spencer already profiled her here.)Limited run - buy the book that is sending the enemy over the edge
