The NY Post is reporting that Hisham Elzanaty, the money man behind the Ground Zero mosque grifter, Sharif El-Gamal, was involved in a $5.1 million insurance scam.
Atlas readers are very familiar with the Elzanaty thief. Elzanaty, who was the man who provided most of the funding for the Cordoba Mosque (newly named "Prayer Space") building, was a large contributor to Hamas.
Hisham Elzanaty donated thousands to the Holy Land Foundation, later shuttered by the feds because of its Hamas ties. Muslim Brotherhood fronts CAIR, ISNA, ICNA, MAS, et al, were named un-indicted co-conspirators and Muslim Brotherhood fronts in the Holy Land trial (the largest terror funding trial in history).

The self-proclaimed leading moneyman behind the Ground Zero mosque ran a
$5.1 million insurance scam that cashed in on car-accident injuries, a lawsuit alleges.
Hisham Elzanaty, 52, ran the "highly developed and sophisticated kickback scheme" for years, Allstate Insurance claims in a federal suit on Long Island.
The scheme routinely submitted inflated medical bills to Allstate and involved illegal fee-splitting, court papers say.
Allstate claimed that Elzanaty fraudulently incorporated medical professional corporations in The Bronx -- which were then used to bill the company for care of patients involved in wrecks.
The operations were fraudulent because Elzanaty is not a licensed medical professional, as required by law, court papers say.
Elzanaty did not return requests for comment

Sharif El-Gamal thinks that beating people up is a great "stress reliever." He threatens Muslims who think that the triumphal mosque is offensive. His non-payment of taxes (to the tune of a quarter of a million) and his bank default on not one but two bank loans, and his eviction from his offices, speak volumes.
Sharif El-Gamal's partner is Nour Mousa, another guiding figure in the Ground Zero mosque effort and the nephew of Amr Moussa, head of the Arab League. Amr Moussa was the first major Arab leader to go to Gaza and affirm support for Hamas. (more here)
Imam Rauf, moved from main mosque megaphone to mega mosque board member, is a slumlord who had his bulidngs seized for violations (not to mention the misappropriation of taxpayer funds). Rauf is a prominent member of the Perdana group. The Islamic Malaysian terror funding group helped sponsor the jihad warship flotilla that tried to kill Jewish soldiers and provoke the Jewish state into a defensive war.
And the media loves this motley supremacist crew of jihadists.
