On August 15th, a week from Monday, is when the Irvine 11 go to court. The Irvine 11 are the MSU students at UC Irvine who are accused of disrupting Ambassador Oren's speech. This was an orchestrated attack on free speech. Please take a minute to email Tony Rackauckas, the Orange County DA, letting him know you support his decision to prosecute these MSU students.
Muslim Brotherhood-tied CAIR has been pushing an aggressive plan to stop this prosecution. So the DA would appreciate hearing from those of us who support his position. The stealth jihadists use freedom of speech to shut down freedom of speech. There is no freedom of speech under the sharia (Islamic law.)

I support your decision to prosecute the 11 students belonging to the Muslim Students Union who prevented Ambassador Oren from presenting his program at UC Irvine.
The Muslim Student Union at Irvine is an anti-Israel student organization whose events regularly feature guest speakers who advocate Israel's destruction. This century's brownshirts, proud nazis. Read who they are here, all of it:
MSU’s contempt for Jews and Israel is profound. At the organization's on-campus events, its members commonly wear green armbands to signal their allegiance to the terrorist group Hamas. MSU also has displayed posters on the UCI campus that equate the Star of David with the Nazi swastika.
In February 2010, Israeli Ambassador Michael Oren visited UCI to give a speech about U.S.-Israel relations. As soon as Oren began speaking, an MSU member stood up and shouted derogatory slogans at the ambassador. This was the first of eleven such disruptions -- executed by eight members of UCI's MSU and three members of UC Riverside's MSU -- during Oren's presentation. Then, later in Oren's speech, the dozens of MSU members in attendance rose from their seats in unison and walked out of the auditorium. (For a video of their disruptions and their exit from the auditorium, click here.) An investigation subsequently revealed that the disruptions had been planned in advance and orchestrated by UC Irvine's MSU.
MSU's bad behavior during the Oren speech prompted UC Irvine administrators to announce that the organization would be suspended for the entire 2010–2011 school year, and that its members would be required to collectively complete 50 hours of community service. When MSU appealed that decision, the suspension was reduced to cover only the fall quarter of 2010, though the community-service requirement was increased to 100 hours. MSU's incoming vice president, Hadeer Soliman, said his group was "shocked and disappointed by the university's decision" not to drop the punishments entirely.
Each year since 2001, MSU has sponsored an annual Apartheid Awareness Week (AAW) whose purpose is to cast Israel as an "apartheid state" that routinely violates the human rights of "Palestinians."
More on the MSU incident (JTA here):
In a statement received by the Orange County Register, the university's Muslim Student Union said, "We condemn and oppose the presence of Michael Oren, the ambassador of Israel to the United States, on our campus today."
The University of California, Irvine has long been a flashpoint for the Israel wars on American campuses.....the Zionist Organization of America complained about the situation to the U.S. Department of Education, which concluded there was insufficient evidence that the university had failed to adequately respond to complaints of harassment.
More recently, the ZOA called on the Department of Justice to probe alleged fund-raising activities on behalf of Hamas by Irvine students.
