If the history books are written by the righteous (in other words, the West), David Yerushalmi will go down as a leading light and one of this war's great, indefatigable fighters.
David Yerushalmi is the ace lawyer who has spearheaded the AFDI freedom of speech lawsuit against the city of Detroit when it refused to run our religious liberty bus ads, and has crafted legal initiatives in other cities also when they balked at running the ads. He is also representing me in two frivolous lawsuits that have been brought against me for my work in defense of human rights.
David is defending me in the ten million dollar lawsuit filed against me in my defense of Christian convert out of Islam, Rifqa Bary. We are currently in the discovery phase, and the Islamic supremacists have asked for my emails, financial records, correspondence ... in an effort to shut me up and shut me down. The lawsuit is raging on, and I will fill you in further at a later date. But if it weren't for David Yerushalmi and Robert Muise of the Thomas More Law Center, my work would not be possible.
What's more, David Yerushalmi is the brilliant legal mind behind the American Laws for American Courts anti-Sharia measures that are now being crafted in several states, and for that, every free person is in his debt.
Not only that: he is also suing the Hamas-linked Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) for defrauding several of its former clients.
Predictably, he has as a result of these efforts for freedom being targeted by the Islamic supremacist smear machine, which has fabricated charges against him that they're trying to use to discredit his work. In the midst of this fight, he needs -- and richly deserves -- support from all those who believe in the freedom of speech, the freedom of conscience, the equality of rights of all people before the law.
