Here's the AP's take on the brouhaha in Alaska.
The AP calls the Muslim Brotherhood-tied group CAIR, check it out, an "advocacy" group. In 2009 the FBI "suspended all formal contacts between CAIR and the FBI." Some advocacy group. Further, the FBI wrote that "...until we can resolve whether there continues to be a connection between CAIR or its executives and HAMAS, the FBI does not view CAIR as an appropriate liaison partner."
Saying CAIR is an advocacy group is like saying that Jeffrey Dahmer was a gourmand.
Journalism, now the second oldest profession. Is it any wonder the Islamic supremacists in America are so brazen? They have their useful idiots like Stein in their toolbox.
BTW, you can watch the hearings today on the anti-sharia legislation, HB88 Alaska today at 1 PM AST (that's 2 PM West coast and 5 PM East coast). Tune in to the live feed at: http://www.alaskalegislature.tv/
Advocacy group blasts speaker on foreign law bill CHRIS STEIN, Associated Press
JUNEAU, Alaska (AP) — The Council on American-Islamic Relations is calling for a speaker invited to testify to Alaska House Judiciary Committee to be pulled from Wednesday's lineup.
Council spokesman Ibrahim Hooper says Pamela Geller, head of advocacy group Stop Islamization of America, should not be allowed to testify on House Bill 88 because of what he calls her anti-Muslim rhetoric.
Geller didn't immediately respond to an email from The Associated Press seeking comment.
The bill from Rep. Carl Gatto, a Republican from Palmer, would prohibit the use of any foreign law in state courts if it infringes on a person's constitutional rights.
Gatto also wasn't immediately available for comment. He previously has said that the measure is designed to guard against Islamic Sharia law.
