Muslim Brotherhood and Hamas Closely Collaborating in Egypt UPDATE: CAIR, CODE PINK Also in Egypt

Hamas is the Muslim Brotherhood in Gaza. And they are working with the MB in Egypt. This is not surprising, but it is catastrophic. Worse is media outlets running commentary from the Muslim Brotherhood organizations in America, like CAIR earlier today on FOX news. The MB's stated goal in the West, according to an internal captured document entered into evidence in the largest Hamas funding trial in US history, "is eliminating and destroying Western civilization from within."

The following is a report from a STRATFOR source in Hamas. Hamas, which formed in Gaza as an outgrowth of the Egyptian Muslim Brotherhood (MB), has an interest in exaggerating its role and coordination with the MB in this crisis. The following information has not been confirmed. Nonetheless, there is a great deal of concern building in Israel and the United States in particular over the role of the MB in the demonstrations and whether a political opening will be made for the Islamist organization in Egypt.


The Egyptian police are no longer patrolling the Rafah border crossing into Gaza. Hamas armed men are entering into Egypt and are closely collaborating with the MB. The MB has fully engaged itself in the demonstrations, and they are unsatisfied with the dismissal of the Cabinet. They are insisting on a new Cabinet that does not include members of the ruling National Democratic Party.

Security forces in plainclothes are engaged in destroying public property in order to give the impression that many protesters represent a public menace. The MB is meanwhile forming people’s committees to protect public property and also to coordinate demonstrators’ activities, including supplying them with food, beverages and first aid.

Thank you, that was very enlightening. Now I know where NBC correspondent Richard Engel got the line about tear gas canisters "Made in USA". Where was Mr. Engel when deadly IEDs in Iraq had "Made in Iran" (in Farsi) written on them? Was that just Bush / Cheney propaganda?

The audio follows the line that the "violence" was started by the police. Tear gas, rubber bullets, water cannon and night sticks are non-lethal weapons. That's a proportional response to the rock- throwing and firebombing by protesters.

In tonight's NBC News, Richard Engel reported again from Cairo. I see no evidence of the suppression of US and British media that occurred during the 2009 Iran Green uprising. Mr. Engel posed in front of Egyptian Army tanks, surrounded by protesters. He seemed to be disappointed that the tanks did not open fire on the crowd. Boy, that would have made some nice footage to open the evening news! \sarc

WASHINGTON (Ahlul Bayt News Agency) - The Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) yesterday said that a bias-motivated attack on a Dearborn, Mich., mosque was thwarted by local police.
Law enforcement authorities and officials with the Islamic Center of America in Dearborn reported to CAIR that a white male resident of California was arrested on Monday evening in the mosque's parking lot while he was in possession of explosive materials. The man is currently being held on $500,000 bond.

"We thank law enforcement authorities for their quick and professional actions in this troubling incident," said Dawud Walid, executive director of CAIR's Michigan chapter. "The increased number of bias incidents targeting American Muslim institutions must be addressed by local, state and national authorities."

Walid said that earlier this month, CAIR called on state and federal authorities to investigate vandalism at a Missouri mosque as a hate crime.

Other recent hate incidents targeting American Muslim institutions and houses of worship have included an arson attack on an Oregon mosque, an arson attack on a mosque in Texas, threats against an Islamic school in Oklahoma, a bias attack outside an Ohio mosque, shots fired outside a New York mosque, an arson attack on the site of a planned mosque in Tennessee, a threat to a previously-bombed Ohio mosque, the defacement of a South Carolina mosque, hate mail sent to mosques, Islamic centers and Muslim organizations in Michigan and Ohio, and a bomb attack at a Florida mosque in May of last year.

The FBI also recently offered a reward for information about a possible bias-motivated blaze in the parking lot of a Louisiana mosque.

I would just like to know, how many incidents are purposely staged to claim attacks, and/or, intimidation.That is a known Islamic tactic.
They are demonstrating in Dearborn and Warren in front of Carl Levin's office,but I saw Dearborn's on local news, and maybe, there were a dozen. They say they are taking pictures to send to Arab world TV.
