When this story popped up last weekend (thanks to Linda), the omissions and lack of details were glaring. Apparently authorities thwarted a plot by a "Dearborn man" who posted a threat detailing violent acts he planned to commit Wednesday on Wayne State University campus.
Campus police and FBI agents executed a search warrant Monday morning at the east Dearborn house of the man, whose name has not been publicly released.

Police have headed off potential violence at Wayne State University that was supposed to occur Wednesday, officials said today.
WSU Public Safety received a tip Saturday that a student posted an online threat to the university.
Working with the FBI, WSU officials searched the student's Dearborn premises Monday morning and found no weapons or ammunition. The student reportedly cooperated during the investigation and is now banned from campus.
