Saturday night, I received the Annie Taylor award. It was the culmination of years of work for a cause (a calling) that defines me -- defense of freedom.
The Annie Taylor Award for Courage from the David Horowitz Freedom Center is awarded annually to people who have demonstrated unusual courage in adverse conditions and great danger.
Photo above: Pamela Geller and J. Christian Adams, the former United States Department of Justice official who shocked the nation when he came forward and exposed the DoJ's illegal refusal to prosecute the New Black Panthers who were threatening and harassing voterswith weapons at polling places. Adams further explained that no incidents agaisnt whites would be being prosecuted at the Obama's Department of Justice. He is a great American hero as is State Senator Russell Pearce, honored for writing the Arizona immigration law.
Pamela Geller and Michelle Bachmann -- she looks poised for 2012. Her speech was rousing. She has that rare thing - courage and political will. I have great hopes for her.
Surrounded by those I love, the DHFC honored my work. Huge thanks to Robert Spencer for his overwhelming introduction.
I hope DHFC posts the video of all of it.
