File this under "what were they thinking?" Look at 1,400 years of Islamic expansionism, supremacism and imperialism, and what did they think would happen? Look at the Middle East -- once entirely Christian, now entrely Islamic save for the tiny Jewish state. What did they think would happen?
Look at Europe today. What did they think would happen?
Look at the Islamic persecution of Christians in Indonesia, Egypt, Sudan, Darfur, Lebanon, etc........ what did they think would happen?
Muslims in Christian Schools: Religious Friction 101 Islamist [?] Watch hat tip Jack
As Muslim enrollment increases at Christian schools, especially in Europe, so too does interfaith conflict at such institutions. A recent piece in Le Figaro highlights the stresses placed on French Catholic schools in particular. For example, the report describes how one had set up a crib for Advent, but "a Muslim parent demanded its removal, saying 'a Muslim cannot hear that Jesus is the Son of God.'" At another, Muslims walked all over a well-intentioned but hapless administrator:
A headmistress … offered Muslim students a room in which to pray and to help them avoid being caught in rain in the school courtyard. The students have turned it into a prayer room and invite other people who have nothing to do with the school to pray with them. Since then the director has been unable to use this space for other activities.
Of course, Christian schools also share many of the challenges faced by secular ones, such as students refusing to swim during Ramadan due to fear of swallowing water (an old standard). No word from Le Figaro on whether Muslims in French Catholic schools respond to lessons on evolution or the Holocaust any more positively than their public school counterparts do.
A 2008 New York Times article explains that France's hijab ban in state-run classes has pushed Muslims to Catholic schools, which are not bound by this law and must accept students of all faiths to qualify for subsidies. Yet even the less critical Times piece could not ignore the ensuing cultural friction. For example, it relates the story of one Catholic school's headmaster who, after a series of accommodations, finally had to "put his foot down when students asked to remove the crucifix in a classroom they wanted for communal prayers during Ramadan."
Christian schools elsewhere are caught in a similar cycle. NIS News reported in 2008 that "two Amsterdam secondary schools with a Christian basis are to close during [Eid al-Fitr] to accede to their Muslim pupils." A year later, a Dutch Catholic elementary school with a handful of Muslims was planning to serve halal food at a Christmas meal, but officials reversed course following parental outrage. In the UK, bishops have recommended that Catholic schools include prayer rooms and washing facilities for Muslims. The Times of London has also noted that at least one Muslim-heavy Church of England school "no longer observes the requirement to have an act of daily collective worship that is 'consistently and recognizably Christian.'"

Enrollment should be forbidden to Muslims in Christian schools.
The only condition for their acceptance should be Christian baptism for the entire family, acceptance of Christian doctrine by the family, and participation in a Christian doctrinal and historical program.
One that teaches that Islam is profane and full of errors.
No Christian school should ever, ever accept a Muslim student who has not renounced his faith. All Christian school enrollees should be Christians.
Period.

If I were operating a Christian school, it would be to teach CHRISTIANITY. It would be operated in a CHRISTIAN WAY.
We would make no accomodations to those of other faiths. If they wanted to attend, they would have to accomodate Christianity, not the other way around. Because the whole idea of a Christian school is to teach Christianity to the students.
Ah, the foolhardiness of accepting government "subsidies" -- the government gets to tell you how to run your school.

What's wrong with, first, these Christian schools that accept these evil minions that are their mortal enemies? Do they need the Substities that badly? Second, why don't these Muslim send them to Madrossa where they belong where they have no trouble preaching the hatred and intolerance that they perpretrate on the Chirstian schools?

The left has been attacking the West since about 1900, one of the things they have to remove to defeat us is our faith in God, for this reason they are working to subvert the Christian and Jewish faiths. Now the Moslems are reaping the benefits of those attacks, we are witnessing the politically correct madness of our governments being tolerant of intolerance from a group they consider to be a minority. We must fight and win while they are still a minority in the West, we can win if we start fighting now. One thing we need more of is psywar videos like those the LDF are putting out, those are a stroke of genius is, they make the Moslems look over their shoulders when no one is there.

My guess about the Muslims sending their children to the Christian schools: so they can take them over, as they are trying to take over the rest of society. Sounds like they've succeeded at English Martyrs in Blackburn.
Scary, scary. We must all learn to stand firm and deny unreasonable requests. In public matters, every time the Muslims ask for an accommodation, what if some other religious group -- Jewish, Hindu, Buddhist, Christian, whomever -- also asked for an accommodation. If Muslims are to be accommodated, then all other groups should also. If requests are denied, appeals should be filed, officials should be questioned as to why the Muslims and not other groups. If the trend can't be turned around in this fashion, at least the public might become more informed.

Only solution i can see is to have more children since the various governments will not stop THE MASS immigration from muslim countries. Otherwise in a decade or so we all will be lost and gone. We will become an extinct race.

These ARE tribulation times! What makes you think it is not? Because no one has raptured? The word rapture in not in the Bible or in the manuscripts. Christ himself, not a disciple, not a preacher, CHRIST JESUS taught, that he would not return until 777, seventh seal, seventh vial, seventh trumpet. Read Mark 13, He lists the tribulations. Satan returns at 666. You do count don't you? Which comes first? There is no mention that Christ comes to get everyone before Satan appears. It isn't until the events of 777, AFTER 666, that you will transfigure into your spirit body, not before. Don't be fooled.

What a bunch of biblically illiterate Christians running these schools? They are allowing idolatrous prayers in their churches and on their campuses. Do they know about Satan's church? Or are they confused into thinking there is only one God and all paths lead to Him. Yes, there is One Creator of the Universe, but there is a fake who wants to take His place and does a pretty diligent job at impersonating Him. Why did Satan quote scripture to Jesus when He spent 40 days in the desert? How is it that Satan knew scripture? (Actually, he only sort of knew scripture. He twisted and distorted it at the end.) There is a spiritual war engulfing this planet and folks need to know and recognize the enemy.

Clearly the islamic supremacists attend Christian schools for the purpose of eventually taking them over and turning them into islamic schools. Like everything else they do, it is about conquest and subjugation of the infidel. What does it take before the west finally stops allowing muslims to trample all over us? You would think that tipping point would have been reached a long time ago, but we remain passive in the face of islamic aggression. The more we appease the more aggressive they become. We have yet to learn that lesson.
Posted by: Laura L | Friday, November 26, 2010 at 07:46 PM
Sounds like it's time to give up the subsidies or give up Christianity -- Christian schools have to make the choice. Muslims are going to push and push and push wherever they can -- ever hear of the the camel's nose in the tent?

Any Catholics who live in a diocese with a Catholic school can put a complaint in with the bishop of that diocese. It is the bishop who is ultimately responsible for what goes on in a Catholic school in his diocese. It is within the bishops power to remove teachers, and officials from the school. The bishop can go as far even deciding what the curriculum can include or exclude. Concerned Catholics should put as much pressure as they can on the bishop's office. Going down in large angering groups works well. Always include a threat to withhold your weekly donations to the church, that's one which will always grab their attention. Catholics its really your church don't let the clergy push you around.

This is what happens when people forget who they are. Sadly, too many Europeans have forgotten. The Muslims have not.

I used to work in a Christian school. the government requested that the Salvation Army set it up and run it subsidized by the government. The SA agreed on the condition that Christianity would be taught and practised and Christian holidays would be celebrated etc.. I was the asst. head. When some government inspectors came and said that we had to teach other religions etc. I told them what the agreement was and that if the government tried to enforce the new policy the school would be shut down immediately. I pointed out that they had tried this with another SA agency in the same building and asked,"Do you see it still operating? The inspector was aware that the other had closed so she never mentioned it again. The Salvation Army often refuses to work in a country, state or area where they don't have total control and no government interference.
My father was responsible for overseas(missionary) work in partnership with the federal government and refused to work in any nation, for example(Burma) that wanted any control of the programs. the Burmese government wanted the money to go through it. Request denied.
This is why you can usually trust that any money given to the SA goes for the purpose it was intended. Internal and external audits are done each year. Whole groups of different people are involved. It is very difficult to cheat the SA and not get caught. Action is definitely taken immediately. I know,I've been accountable and on an accountability team.
In addition to what xavier 823 said you can also threaten to make complaints public. It really effects the reputation which will cut donations drastically which hampers the bottom line for a long time. Parents will take kids out or move to another school.

I happen to know a principal of a Catholic school (grades 1 -8 in USA) who has assured me that any child of ANY religion attending her Catholic school (and other Catholic schools at which she has taught) has exactly the same behavioral requirements as any other student except the requirement to receive the sacraments. They have to take religion classes for a grade, attend mass with the others, kneeling & standing when others do in the same uniforms (no head scarves). When pork is served at lunch they don't have to eat it, but no substitute is served. Absolutely no special concessions are made. There has not been any other guidance from any bishop.
Catholic schools are private schools and depend on the support of parents who would probably object strongly if the school tried to change this policy. It seems that being a sappy pushover is just the European style.

They have been converted to liberation theology and are ashamed to admit that the Bible says don't allow worship of other gods in the Churches.

Like to see them try this sort of thing in a Catholic school we have here in Alberta, Canada! They'd be told that the Catholic School Division does not accept any other faith but Christian and the children in that school all take the Catholic Religious studies and say the Catholic prayers. They also attend the Catholic church during certain celebrations through out the year! The children are expected to take Communion or be Blessed during Mass at these times!
In 5 years of our child attending this Catholic school, I have not seen any children of the Islamic ( satanic followers) faith. It's not because we do not have any muslims here. Muslim children seem to be attending the public school system.

In the koran, it does not say that Allah created the Heavens and the Earth and all things. That's because Satan didn't create anything! He only knows how to lie and distort the truth! What an ignoranus mo baby was and now all the followers of that satanic follower are just as stupid!
The following fits the Islamics and non-muslims, who believe Islam is a religion!
BOZONE (n.): The substance surrounding stupid people that stops bright ideas from penetrating. The BOZONE layer, unfortunately, shows little sign of breaking down in the near future!

I wonder how long it will be before Islam takes over private schools in New York City. Perhaps, that is occurring now. They are mostly run by liberals and they will get what they deserve, too; death by a thousand cuts. Their list is hardly a secret. http://www.abacusguide.com/NY%20private%20schools%20directory.htm. A larger problem is that as those schools become Islamo-Nazi centers, sharia will infiltrate all Christian, Jewish, Hindu and other religious schools, perhaps.

Outrageous, but we do the same thing here. A few years ago, a Catholic university in suburban Chicago granted the request of Muslim students who wanted to use the chapel for prayers. The TRIBUNE carried this story: during Muslim prayers, a tarp was thrown over the statue of the Blessed Mother because it was offensive to the students.
I checked into this recently, and the school has given a different room to the Muslim students for prayer and social purposes, so I am not naming the university.
Students who attend schools with a religious affiliation should respect that religion. They don't have to JOIN that religion, but they should give it the same respect they are accorded when they are welcomed into the school.

We need to organize a request of Christians to utilize muslim prayer spaces for Christian praying. And just keep asking, and asking, and asking, and asking....and never stop bugging them for "multiculturalism".

How about these PRIVATE Christian schools put as a requirement to atttending that students CAN LEARN what will be TAUGHT in class?? et al; Jesus Is God's SON!
Posted by: debrobeaudean | Saturday, November 27, 2010 at 12:33 PM
How about having the parents of all entering students sign an agreement that they will go along with the curriculum, which will be determined by the Catholic Church. A Catholic school should have the right to maintain its identity without having to kiss the skyward pointing butts of praying muslims. How about the USA and Canada also look at these issues. Just yesterday, a Somali dickwad tried to set off a bomb in Portland, Maine, during a Christmas tree lighting ceremony. Now I called the guy a dickwad, but actually he's a muslim. The media, of course, never mentioned that because, after all, what does that have to do with anything? One day we infidels will wake up . . . dead.
Posted by: Yomayngsup | Saturday, November 27, 2010 at 12:49 PM
Portland, ME, or Portland, OR? I found several articles about an attempted bombing in Ore., but nothing about a like incident in Maine. One of the articles is here: http://jjb.yuku.com/topic/649682/t/19yr-arrested--plot--bomb-christmas-tree-lighting-ceremony--.html
No mention that the Somali teen-ager is Muslim, but it does say that he's been thinking of violent jihad since he was 15.

We Christians know what has to happen. If this is not the era of the Church of Ladocia (Opinions). The Apostate Church. None will be.
Its made plain in scripture the ultimate fate of those follow a false one.
In the end Jews & Christians win, but only after a complete extrema of human cost, by those who would be gods.
2Th 2:2 that you not be quickly shaken from your composure or be disturbed either by a spirit or a message or a letter as if from us, to the effect that the day of the Lord has come.
2Th 2:3 Let no one in any way deceive you, for it will not come unless the apostasy comes first, and the man of lawlessness is revealed, the son of destruction,
2Th 2:4 who opposes and exalts himself above every so-called god or object of worship, so that he takes his seat in the temple of God, displaying himself as being God.
