Pamela Geller, "Truth is the new hate speech."
Juan Williams, "I was fired for telling the truth."
The jihadis are in charge. It's just that simple. The Islamic supremacists whose aim, according to an internal, captured document entered into the largest terror funding trial in this nation's history, demanded "something be done" to Juan Williams for admitting fear when he sees a jihadi (in "Muslim garb") on a plane.
Unindicted co-conspirator, Hamas-linked, Muslim Brotherhood front CAIR sent this press release out on Wednesday afternoon. CAIR National Executive Director Nihad Awad called for action against Williams: "Such irresponsible and inflammatory comments would not be tolerated if they targeted any other racial, ethnic or religious minority, and they should not pass without action by NPR."
Williams is a liberal, and more times than not sides with the leftist/Islamic alliance. This is a lesson for the left, for the "queers for Palestine,' and the feminazis who stay silent in the wake of gender apartheid, clitorectomies, honor killings, etc. Know that you are next.
Williams' firing is not surprising. Anyone following the Islamic supremacist infiltration of the media, culture, and government have seen this for years. Last week's crippling cave-in to Islamic domination over at the Washington Post when they removed an online innocuous cartoon shows that free speech is being crushed.
When you trade freedom for peace, you get neither.
Unindicted co-conspirator, Hamas-linked, Muslim Brotherhood front CAIR should be relegated to the very fringes of our society, like the KKK and the Nazis were. That's common sense. CAIR's subversion and treason goes back decades. The media is responsible for giving CAIR the imprimatur of legitimacy. FOX, CNN, MSNBC et al have these stealth jihadists on and never describe who and what they really are.
I am sure O'Reilly will be outraged on his show tonight -- Williams made these remarks on his show. But O'Reilly has had CAIR on and gave them a national stage and legitimacy.
Evil is made possible by the sanction you give it. Withdraw your sanction.
UPDATE: Here's Ibrahim Beekeeper Hooper, CAIR and Megyn Kelly on FOX:
Hamas-linked, Muslim Brotherhood front CAIR shows its true face here, and demonstrates how it scams us. Anybody who doesn't submit to the Islamic supremacist dictates gets heckled. The insinuation is that Kelly is a racist-islamophobic-antimuslim-bigot. I don't know why Kelly didn't run down CAIR's rap sheet and who they really are.

I am sure O'Reilly will be outraged on his show tonight -- Williams made these remarks on his show. But O'Reilly has had CAIR on and gave them a national stage and legitimacy.
That he's had CAIR on his show actually justifies his outrage even more than if he'd not had them on. He's given them air time on his program to have their say but they don't want the same to be allowed for Williams, even though he's a believer and proponent of the narrative of the "moderate Muslim."
Posted by: AuntieMadder | Thursday, October 21, 2010 at 02:12 PM
By the way, I suspect CAIR went to Fox and demanded Williams be fired for voicing his opinion but was denied their request. So, still wanting to put the hurt on Williams, they turned to NPR, who happily played henchmen for them.
Posted by: AuntieMadder | Thursday, October 21, 2010 at 02:15 PM
Megyn Kelly just had Ibrahim Hooper from CAIR on her America Live program today, discussing the firing of Juan Williams. They got into a little shouting match.
Posted by: ProtectYourself | Thursday, October 21, 2010 at 02:38 PM
This is so outrageous, not just because Williams is a respectable news commentator but because the message to all Americans is that you better be careful what you say about Muslims or Islam because even innocent carelessness can get you fired or harmed. CAIR is the enforcer and you better like it or else.
I have lost a lot of respect for NPR. To do this on demand from CAIR is truly disgusting.

Isn't it about time people stopped pussyfooting around these soft wishy-washy wingnuts who in the face of reality, continue to spew their fantasies about the whole world living in peace and harmony, holding hands and singing songs together in their many different languages and dialects?
Yes they will be 'next'. That is to say, they're a soft target for the Islamists who want to inflict their will on the West. If they can deceive such soft intellects and get them to do their bidding that way, then they will. If any one of them develops a smattering of intellectual honesty and actually says something that deviates from the party line, bang! That's the door closing behind you as you're thrown out of the building where you used to work.
And that's just the start of it. It's important to realise that this is a 'moderate' measure, taken pour encourager les autres. What happens as the free world slips farther down that slippery slope?

I have felt for a long time that the government had no business funding National Public Radio. They should stop forcing taxpayers to pay for their on destruction by leftist journalists. We should not be forced to fund any radio station regardless of their political slant.

WHY DOES NPR TOLERATE APOLLOSPEAKS?
If NPR found Mr. Williams’ comments on the Factor so damning and offensive to Moslems as to necessitate the termination of his contract then why do they tolerate ApolloSpeaks? Why do they post my even more offensive and politically incorrect articles on Mohammed and Islam on their website? In several of my 64 pieces that NPR posted I crossed the line and dared call Mohammed a “thieving mass murdering terrorist thug” and said, God knows how many times, that “Islam was a religion of hate, intolerance, discord and war.” If NPR gave Mr. Williams the boot for saying that he’s nervous around traditionally clad Moslems on airplanes then why haven’t they booted me? Why do they post “racist bigoted Islamophobic” articles that blatently insult the prophet and founder of Islam? A man so great, wise, holy and perfect that he stands above criticism (according to most Moslems) and was the closest thing to God on earth? What utter, puking hypocrites!
Click my name and see for yourself the complete list of my worse than Juan’s anti-Islam articles posted on NPR.

It will be interesting to see where Juan Williams' opinions regarding muslims and islam goes from here. Since he admitted getting on a plane with muslims in muslim garb made him feel unsettled, will he now convince himself that he was having irrational, bigoted feelings and start showing muslims more love and capitulation? Or will he get busy and bone up on what islam really is and why CAIR did what they did and why NPR so quickly capitulated to CAIR's demands?
Will Bill O'Reilly truly get his dander up over what has happened to Juan and who made that happen (CAIR) and grow some cajones and do an expose´ on what CAIR really is all about? Lord knows there is certainly a plethora of readily available publications exposing the ugly truths about CAIR. At this juncture, what the heck is O'Reilly's (and Williams') excuse for being so incredibly stupid about what islam was and still is?
I wish I could be more optimistic about this issue, but something tells me that O'Reilly and Williams will play up some initial blustery outrage, but they won't carry this ball to the end zone to score a victorious goal over CAIR.
Speaking of CAIR and the ever so lovely and huggable Ibrahim Hooper - I watched the heated discussion between he and Megyn Kelly on FOX this morning. It was fleeting, but at one point in the discussion Hooper threw out to Ms Kelly a question asking her how she felt about boarding a flight with muslims in muslim garb (with a creepy smirk on his face). She either didn't hear him or refused to take his bait. It was an obvious set-up and meant to be a very sneaky form of intimidation, a "you'll be next" sort of thing, had Ms Kelly deigned to answer him with the same sentiments Juan Williams admitted to.

who doesn't get nervus seeing muslims on a plane? there'd have to be something wrong with you if you weren't... hell, even other muslims must get a bit worried seeing other muslims on the same plane as them.
speaking of the religion of ultimate and total peace and tolerance: just had a root canal done at lunch today... still numb. my dentist recommended some endodontist with a middle-easterny sounding name. i told him no and recommend another endodontist. i wont even take the chance that the original recommendation wasn't a muslim.
am i islamophobic? no, because i don't have an irrantional fear of muslims, instead, i have a healthy rational fear of them based on their actions across the globe, the hateful / evil / murderous shit they constantly spew from their islam-holes, and what their insane 'religion' projectile vomits from the pages of their holy book.
repatriate all muslims with the islamic paradise of their choice. it's the only sane solution.

NPR went even further to the left and more pro muslim directly after the Obama administration came into power. Their funding is not only by the American government and by donations from Americans. Check out how much they are receiving from islamic foundations and governments. There is a story there that needs to be exposed.
One would hope that Juan will sue NPR as he spoke the truth and it is very reasonable to fear those who appear to be like the jihadist who blew up buildings with airplanes isnt it? Surely Juan has had a damage done to himself and had a right to speak the truth. CAIR has truthophobia and indeed is very much like the KKK and Nazi groups in their intolerance of speaking truth. There is nothing racist about what Juan said but there sure is by what CAIR insisted upon and what NPR did. Go for them Juan they deserve it.

Juan Williams is suffering with a mental disorder known as Islamophobia. This tragic illness causes him to hallucinate and see people dressed in muslim garb on planes as dangerous, which triggers anxiety and fear. More than likely demon-possession could be causing his malady.
What is needed is a qualified Sharia-compliant Islamic faith-healer and exorcist to cast out the evil spirits in Juan so that he can be whole again and begin to see that all muslims are his true peace-loving brothers and sisters who'd never hurt a fly.
As part of his therapy, Juan will also needs to meditate and recite certain mantras over again like:
"jihad means inner struggle"
"there is no compulsion in Islam"
"CAIR, MAS, ISNA, Daisy Khan, Imam Rauf are moderate groups/muslims"
"9/11 was an inside job, Bush lied people died"
"Israel is an apartheid state, Jews are sons of apes and pigs"
"radical Islam was invented by the CIA and FBI to steal muslim oil"
"if you don't build the Ground Zero Mosque, the terrorists win"
"Islam is the light"
It was wise of NPR to fire Juan and so that he may have time to seek out the therapy he needs and stop having the wrong thoughts and unacceptable ideas. It is of course dangerous free-thinkers who wind up smashing planes into buildings, behead journalists, stone/honor-kill women and gays.
Only by adhering strictly to the truths that are presented by Islam and Leftism that chaos and bloodshed are avoided while order and sanity are maintained.

This is another outragous thing that NPR has pulled. I don't always agree with Mr. Williams but I have always respected him. He is an honest decent man who although having a left of center bias always tries to remain fair. This fireing over an honest remark that doesn't seem to me to be at inflamatory but simply honest responce considering realalities of Islamic Terrorism.
Posted by: Getzel | Thursday, October 21, 2010 at 04:31 PM
It's not so much getting on the plane with them (muslims) that bothers me, it's knowing that less than half of the 10 decidedly muslim looking folks who got on board went through without any kind of security check!
This is an outrage. Does religious freedom mean you are free to practice your religion and also free to force non-believers to practice it too? Anytime a muslim silences me from speaking about muhammad or islam or forces me to participate in separate swim times for males and females based on some sunna or fatwa, aren't they really forcing me to practice their religion? Isn't the whole idea of tolerance based on the notion that muslims (or any other group) need to be tolerant of me being intolerant of them? They're free to practice their religion, they're just not free to force me to practice their religion.
What has happened to my rights? We need to stand up now and stop this nonsense. If we do, perhaps someday our liberals friends and neighbors will see fit to thank us, but I won't hold my breath.

I, for one, am disgusted, and have been since they brought the Vietnam War into our living rooms and people who were supposed to be merely broadcasting the news started critiquing the news. That, dear friends, was the beginning of the end for America. I hope, I sincerely hope, I am wrong. I wrote a book (fiction) about life in America after its second civil war, which the Muslims won. "Margaret and David: A Love Story" is its title in case anyone is interested.

The way Soros is financing NPR, ThinkProgress and MediaMatters, you could say that Vivian Shill was just listening to her real boss when she fired Juan Williams."

What is needed is a NATIONAL non-stop campaign for people to READ the Quran, the Haddith and the Surra and see for themselves the real story from non other than the horses mouth. You don't need too be a rocket scientist to figure out when someone has your neck on their sights. Explain to people about abrogation and how the prophet changed his tunes according to his changing needs.

There's a really clear meaning here what he meant. I, however, you're walking around like a loose tooth, waiting for a chance to ache - you can of course screw it around to make your point, like any 8th grade student in debate class.
Juan Williams said -
"I mean, look, Bill, I'm not a bigot….But when I get on a plane, I got to tell you, if I see people who are in Muslim garb and I think, you know, they're identifying themselves first and foremost as Muslims, I get worried. I get nervous," Williams said.
This is quite simple really, if you're not actually trying to be offended.
He's at the airport - there's airplanes - he sees someone in Muslim clothing - reminds him of Muslims - he's reminded of 9/11.
Pretty simple and natural reaction.
He didn't say that he was frightened at the particular Muslims that he saw. Everyone wants to jump up and down and yell that the hijackers wore regular clothes, so the Muslims dressed in Muslim clothing shouldn't scare him. Well that's not what he said - it's just that what these particular Muslims were wearing brought Muslims into his thoughts, where they otherwise wouldn't be.
He never said he was paralyzed with fear and watched these particular Muslims like a hawk waiting for them to pull something. Just that they reminded him of a traumatic event in his memory, that memory being brought up by someone who was 'obviously' Muslim.
A simple comparison - if I were bit by a pit bull, I'd be reminded of that the next time I saw ANY pit bull and it would give me a start.
Our country is becoming such a collection of maroons .....

Wow! So you're perfectly content when 15 muslim looking individuals board your plane, especially when you realize the airlines only scrutinized one or two (per fed aviation regs)? You must be quite the person...superhuman, in fact...
So what do you think when you see those muslims boarding the plane? Exactly what does go through your mind? I'd be curious to know. And don't tell me nothing, cause then you'd be lying....

Does anyone know of a site that includes a pronunciation key for islamic words and phrases such as Taqiyya?
Posted by: 'nuff already | Thursday, October 21, 2010 at 05:57 PM
Moron-Islam is not a race. It's a political ideology (Sharia Law)-got that?, you moron?-LOL Its chronologically "peaceful" suras have been abrogated by its later chronological suras (you pathetic Moron)..The taqiyya is not working anymore.
Tell us (you moron) that the earlier chronological suras (Oh member of the Low-IQ-Club) in the Qu'ran have not been abrogated by the later suras that call for deception, domination, and the extermination of the Unbelievers. Do some lies-since you can't reason.
Moron, (AKA Montana)-Tell us that there are no Jew-hating suras in the Qu'ran. Do some lies of omission...or change the subject...But, ya know what, moron-it's over. Soon everybody is going to know the truth. Islam is going to be ridiculed (BTW-Allah said in the Qu'ran that the Jews believe "Ezra is the Son of God"-LOL). There is so much to ridicule with Allah-in-Wonderland.
Even a phony member of the Low-IQ-Club, such as you, will have to eventually face the truth re this "religion" with its mandates to deception, domination, and violence against Unbelievers.
It's over. Desperate acts, such as the firing of Williams, are a symptom of weakness (like your brain).
Once again re abrogation: Ibn Warraq, page 115,Why I am Not a Muslim: "Now we see how useful and convenient the doctrine of abrogation is in bailing scholars out of difficulties. Of course, it does pose a problem for apologists of Islam, since all the passages preaching tolerance are found in the Meccan, i.e., early suras, and all the passages recommending killing, decapitating, and maiming are Median, i.e., later: "tolerance" has been abrogated by "intolerance." For example, the famous verse at Sura 9.5, "Slay the idolaters wherever you find them," is said to have canceled 124 verses that dictate tolerance and patience."

This event fits perfectly with the Bad News/Good Information principle. It's Bad News that Mr. Williams got fired, but it's Good Information that it happened to one of MSM's own, over Nothing. Ms. Kelly's reaction to the flamboyant stupidity of Mr. Hooper's arguments was swift and sure. Mr. Williams will recover just fine, wiser, and probably soon. CAIR's viciousness has been laid bare. And MSM is starting to pay closer attention. What a good day for free speech!

I agree. It's so irrational, so emotion based (over the top) a response, that it can't really be defended. I think it indicates desperation on the part of the "tolerance" folks. They are desperate to keep from looking at the truth re Islam-so they kill poor Juan for his message. This nonsense is coming to an end.
The whole episode reveals a bunker (Hitler style) mentality at NPR. Williams shoud be reinstated (but, I think he's a proud guy, and may tell them "fuck you.")
They are pretty insecure at NPR. That's for sure.
Posted by: Frank | Thursday, October 21, 2010 at 06:27 PM
I stand correct on Ibrahim Hooper, not Abraham Hooper.
I don't know of a pronunciation site for islamic words, but I've heard Taqiyya pronounced a few different ways.
This is a great video about the deception of Taqiyya.

This is such horrid censorship! Brennan said "Jihad is legitimate" like it's finger-painting, a form of expression or something, and the Obama admin. has refused to identify Hassan, the Fort Hood shooter who slaughtered 13 soldiers and wounded scores of others, as a jihadist even though his business card reads "Soldier of Allah" and he was screaming Allahu Akhbar!! as he shot victims, they hid away the panty bomber and the Jackson 5 poisoners and on and on...
Jihad is WAR on nonbelievers, and until we see moderate muslim doctrine, not this fake-fantasy-non-existent "moderate muslim", then the fact is when you see a person boldly identifying themselves as a muslim, they are identifying themselves with those war doctrines. The Koran has well over a hundred commands to kill/convert non-muslims (hook, melt, gut, behead, etc.) plus methods "how" to do so (gather all weapons, strategies, extort, lie to 'al taquiya', only be fake-friends-with, rape, etc.). The koran is a book of WAR. Until that book is revised, we are all by necessity on guard.

You hit a few nails on the head. Yes, CAIR is definitely playing the totalitarian here. But even I’m surprised how stupid they are. Turning on a leftwing commentator? They are just going to lose more supporters. Plus, NPR will now come under greater scrutiny. This is going to be interesting.

You may be right, but there are also several other factors at work. One is that leftists particularly don't like members of minority groups who stray from the party line. Another is that NPR just now got a huge grant from George Soros.
It's time to de-fund NPR!

Good grief! I saw Williams make that comment; had no idea that he’d been subsequently fired.

Bullshit! Not in my country! The POS in Chief and his Communist henchmen/women who installed themselves on their way to a "New World Order" while we were busy looking the other way and trying to be polite as political correctness eroded our fundamental principles/morals/values, must likewise be ousted. Soros (a.k.a. self hating Jew and Nazi conspirator, Georgy Schwartz) must be outlawed from funding ANY organization within the USA. He must also be stopped from shorting our currency.
This is my platform (if only I were running!)
When the Republican Congress is installed, they must
1) DEMAND that EO # 1 sealing all of Barry's records be overturned. Let the chips fall where they may.
Those with nothing to hide, hide nothing. Transparency, remember Mr. POS....I mean President.
2) Repeal Obamanation-Do-Not-Care. It is not an entitlement....yet. No equivocation. Immediate repeal.
3) Defend our borders & deport ALL illegals (cheaper than free education, healthcare, food stamps, etc.) saving untold taxpayer dollars in the interim.
4) Secure Social Security in a lockbox (sorry folks, it is already an entitlement and seniors have paid into it. They should reap what they have sown.
5) Establish English as the "official" language of the United States of America.
6) Any able bodied American must work. No more perpetual handouts for the able bodied. A hand up should be given. A perpetual handout...not on our dime.
7) A balanced budget amendment.
8) If we can give Brazil tax dollars for offshore drilling, we should be able to do the same. I won't even comment on the abject hypocrisy in this (cough*Soros*cough)
9) Re-establish our common culture, traditions and values...i.e.: American. Not White-American. Not African-American. Not Hispanic-American. A united, agan proud unhyphenated American culture. Period. No exceptions
10) I know there shoule be a 10th, but this is extemporaneous, and I have to log off now.

The truth is that the dogmas of Islam are responsible for restricting freedoms in America, and elsewhere, in a way that Hitler and Stalin could have never dreamed possible. Only 15 years ago, most Americans gave little thought re air travel etc.
Muslims should be ashamed at what their belief system has wrought. Their belief system is at the root of all the security and surveillance that we must endure, and which (the police state security itself) is a long term danger to human freedom. (Islam will be critically analysed and it will eventually be ridiculed. But we may not survive the security and surveillance that has been necessary to check Islamic supremacist nonsense).
The near police state conditions we must endure at airports (e.g.) are not coming about because of a few Muslim fundamentalists. It's coming about because of Islam's dogmas which permits deceit with Unbelievers, calls for domination of them, the imposition of Sharia Law, Jew-hating, and finally for the extermination of Unbelievers.
(Ibn Warraq, page 11,Why I am Not a Muslim: The term "Islamic fundenentalist" is in itself inappropriate, for there is a vast difference between Christianity and Islam. Most Christians have moved away from the literal interpertation of the Bible; for most of them, "it ain't necessaraly so." Thus we can legitmately distinguish between fundamentalist and nonfundamentalist Christians. But Muslims have not moved away from the literal interpretaion of the Koran; all Muslims-not just a group we have called "fundamentalist"-believe that the Koran is literally the word of God.")
The problem of security at airports (all over the world) is rooted in Islam's dogmas.
The Qu'ran is not a collection of books written by "inspired" humans (as is the Hebrew Bible e.g.), and subject to interpretation, but is written by one man, and allegedly the orders of Gd (with the earlier "peaceful" suras abrogated by the later violent suras. Those later orders are to kill the Unbeliever, deceive them, dominate, etc.
(Once again re abrogation: Ibn Warraq, page 115,Why I am Not a Muslim: "Now we see how useful and convenient the doctrine of abrogation is in bailing scholars out of difficulties. Of course, it does pose a problem for apologists of Islam, since all the passages preaching tolerance are found in the Meccan, i.e., early suras, and all the passages recommending killing, decapitating, and maiming are Median, i.e., later: "tolerance" has been abrogated by "intolerance." For example, the famous verse at Sura 9.5, "Slay the idolaters wherever you find them," is said to have canceled 124 verses that dictate tolerance and patience.")
As Yogi Berra said: "Repetition is the mother of learning."

Hooper, you swarmy piece of turd. WHERE THE F**K are my rights? Since your fellow co-religionists have been doing their sick shit on planes, air travel has become unbearable, and I absolutely refuse to fly. If I can't go someplace by boat, train or car I will not go. But you want the rest of us to boo-f**king hoo for the poor misunderstood whining, manipulative miscreants called muslims. And I'll bet the condo that you don't give a shit about them either so long as you rake in your fat paycheck and tee hee all the way to the bank. You probably like the same things that iman Rauf Rauf like right down to smelling ladies panties.

Juan Williams is a liberal; I am a conservative. But I have always enjoyed listening to Juan Williams give his opinion on something, BECAUSE HE TELLS WHAT HE IS ACTUALLY THINKING.
Because he is a straight shooter, his liberal take on things is a valuable contribution to the public discourse.
"POB!", you say, "have you gone mad?" No, I have not.
1st: It's a free country. Everyone is allowed to express his opinion.
2nd: If a liberal will give you his honest take on things, you may learn something, because he may notice something that you didn't notice.
The thing is, Juan Williams actually uses his brain; he doesn't just spout off talking points, like Bob "talking points" Beckel, one of the worst on the Left.

Journalists have Ethics and Standards they must follow. For a guide, click here http://www.spj.org/ethicscode.asp.
What the journalist did incorrectly was that he violated the ethics that he should have upheld. As a journalist he should be unbiased. He wasn't.
Quoted from the Society of Professional Journalists Code of Ethics:
— Avoid stereotyping by race, gender, age, religion, ethnicity, geography, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance or social status.
Clearly he got it wrong, and so does pamela geller.

Thanks for the link, 1389.
With all the reporting on this story today and none of them stating that CAIR went to Fox first, my earlier suspicion was most probably wrong.
From what I read at the page you linked to, as well as pages linked to from there, NPR has wanted to get rid of Williams for a while because, according to NPR and other libtards, the views he shares on Fox aren't "Progressive enough." Soros' funding undoubtedly lies at the heart of that complaint.
Posted by: AuntieMadder | Thursday, October 21, 2010 at 08:56 PM
One more thing: In addition to the blatant censorship of Williams, that he was fired over something he said outside of NPR's outlets (web, radio) is also troubling.

NOBODY wants to fly if there are Muslims on the plane...
And that surely includes other Muslims, too.

pamela, friends:
thank g_d for "the view," bill o'reilly, juan williams and c.a.i.r., and the cowards at n.p.r.--
they simply confirm, absolutely, all that this blog has been saying about creeping/galloping sharia since day one, and its drive to silence free speech and criticism of islam.
at one time pamela geller was called an alarmist for saying these things.
it seems to me more appropriate that she be designated a prophet, for her supremely accurate view of things to come. it is time to affirm her view of things, and understand that she speaks truth.
truth to power, as they say.

p.s. and, were it not for geller & spencer & steyn and now juan williams, however reluctant his participation in all this, we would never have heard a peep of this from our news media.
friends, it is time to take the streets. and, to take our schools and universities and news media back, ... , or simply abandon them. or, consider very seriously, destroying them. and, to formulate and build organizations that will serve us.

Name me one - just one - journalist today who does not inject his/her opinion into articles or spin their reports to support an agenda.
Hannity has that fat misogynist Beckel on his program as I type this to you. Beckel mentioned the Ethics and Standards for journalists. Then he went on to say that Williams didn't violate them because he wasn't reporting news at the time that he said what he did about being nervous when flying with Muslims. In other words, he wasn't passing his opinion off as news reporting or as fact. Williams shared how he feels and didn't frame it as anything but his feelings. That even the uber-libtard Islamo-fascist Beckel sides with Williams and defends his right to say how he feels, it's an indicator that Williams was treated unfairly.

I always, always qualify CAIR (named an unindicted co-conspirator in a Hamas-funding conviction, banned by the FBI, and with many of its leaders in jail or deported on terror-related charges) anytime I use it . It’s my way of striking back at this disgusting organization. I wait for the day when they are disbanded & turfed out on their taqiyya asses..
Anyone want to know about them, read “The Muslim Mafia” and Google them. Also go to their site & sign up for their daily news brief. Warning: Your stomach may not be able to tolerate the over the top propaganda (note the adjectives & language they use to spawn anger) . Want to fight back, then add a tag line every time you use "CAIR" in anything you write!

That's exactly how I feel, POB.
Juan is an honest man acting in good faith.
I would love it if he co-hosted a Fox show with someone like Mary Katherine Ham.

I think we can expect a reversal and apology from NPR, maybe over the weekend.
Hopefully the whole incident will scare the left-libs enough to rethink their alliance with Islam. They can see now that it comes at a price, and what do the Islamics do for the libs anyway?
Posted by: Telly | Thursday, October 21, 2010 at 11:34 PM
Good on Juan Williams! I dont even have to be on a plane, just passing them in the stores or malls with just the eyes exposed is enough to creep anybody out. The long black sacks are scary as well, even when the entire face is exposed. Its just plain effin scary to me.

I cannot believe this. This is so outrageous I cannot even understand this. I do not always agree with Juan but man to fire him for saying something everybody knows. Read a great article on this By. Ben Aaston (http://word4ce.com/freemarkets/2010/10/21/the-brilliance-of-prejudice-and-discrimination/#comment-51)he put it very well, in fact better than I've read anybody say it so far.
I don't know If I can read or listen to NPR anymore. But now I feel good knowing I'm not the only person scared of Muslims on planes AND Yes - they did tear down the twin towers.

With 15,000+ jihad attacks world wide before and after 9/11 - - people have just got to wake up!

I agree with you. My whole life, it's all I can remember, something evil coming from this so called religion, from Dar al Islam. Anyone who lies and says that they aren't triggered by the sight of Muslims on a plane is a nut job. I'm not kidding. It's not normal to feel nothing or to feel comfortable, unless you are another Muslim. It might be irrational to them, but to the majority of Americans, we profile. We profile in our every day life, it's a fact. It's normal.
So what? So Juan Williams states in plain english what the rest of us think and feel and he becomes the target of anger to Muslims? This CAIR organization should be saying to themselves, Wow...we have a lot of work to do to repair our damaged reputation, human psychology 101 spells out clearly what triggers are and that they are normal responses we have to life experiences.
That is why Juan Williams gets fired? I'm losing my country and I'm getting more and more pissed about it, something needs to be done and soon, because I feel another bubble is about to burst...don't you?
Posted by: Madeleine | Friday, October 22, 2010 at 09:43 AM
My only thing I take issue with is that on last night's show on O'Reilly, they only briefly mentioned that it was CAIR who complained to NPR. Juan Williams was not identifying them. O'Reilly then referred to them as a "Muslims Civil Rights Organization" and quickly stated it was CAIR. Then the rest of the show was over Juan's connection to Fox News that NPR was mad about. I have a feeling O'Reilly will still go soft on CAIR. I don't know he didn't have Hooper on and treat him like he did Barney Frank. Why is CAIR getting an easy pass?

Juan feels threatened when he sees people in Muslim garb on Airplanes? Gee, I wonder why? Oh ya, it might have something to due with that little incident on 9/11/01!!! When i fly i give these people a look to. Then a second and third look. As of now in this country we have lost Freedom of speech whats next, we lose freedom of sight as not to offend with the wrong glance. Any one else sick of these people yet?
Posted by: Mike S. | Friday, October 22, 2010 at 03:06 PM
CAIR is a corrupt and very organized group of terrorist living within our borders. They should all be executed before a firing squad. These lying savage cowards do not deserve any airtime on any show, and
O'Reilly is showing his true colors, the fraud.
O'Reilly has shifted his fraudulent fair and balanced scam to mean for Muslims only. Since his bosses
are now Saudis he doesn't want to loose his many millions per year betraying America, nor does Beck.
What a bunch of total traitors to the American people. And there are still people tuning in listening
to these 2 frauds. I have been attacked by supposed patriots for trying to warn everyone, so listen up
O'Reilly, Beck and all the Fox cuties are frauds. They are now paid by our enemies and our entire media is in black out, along with any info. on the 70% buyout of stocks of News Corp, which owns Fox.
Turn them off, do not trust them. They are employed now by our enemies.
Posted by: True Patriot | Friday, October 22, 2010 at 05:24 PM
We already know the rest of TV media are complete Communists. However Fox for a time was
our last voice on TV news. No more. Turn them all off.

Having Hooper on your show is an unfair way of winning any mental debate about the innate qualities of Islam, their profit (peas be upon him), and their war god, Al. Megyn stood strong and kicked his fat halal ass. CAIR is an organization that needs constant scrutiny and having them represented may open up the eyes of the sleeping country. Most of the media sucks but when one of them speaks the truth, and in a capacity of stating an opinion and not reporting (ethics don't count Maria dhimmi), then he has the right to say what he wants, and I swear, I will defend to my death his right to say it. I have had it with the liberal media and will never support NPR etc etc. I will even boycott Campbells Soup because who knows what prayers they said over it without my asking for prayers

"Honest Ib" must be Chris Farley's evil twin, living in a trailer down by the river.
Except that, as a top guy at CAIR, he may be well compensated.

Explain how an honest expression of fear of people dressed in Muslim garb, whom you cannot disassociate from 911, violates the SOPJ's Code of ethics? Keep in mind that it was an opinion segment. If you avoid expressing the truth in order to self enforce a code of ethics, then you have stifled your own speech. Thus your statement in terms of our freedom of speech is nonsense! In order to have violated the code of ethics, Juan would have had to go beyond the mere expression of his feelings, and called for some action to be taken against people wearing Muslim garb. His statement did not call for any such action, nor even imply that such action be taken. In his new job at Fox, I hope Juan brings out many facts about CAIR and who they really are, as Pamela suggested above. It would be like a boxer giving black eyes, chipped teeth, and broken jaws.
Posted by: John Nosser | Tuesday, October 26, 2010 at 04:31 AM
I hope Juan looks at the good side of all of this. He got fired by NPR which only has about a dozen ;) or so listeners. He subsequently got hired by Fox News, making $2M for a top position, with millions of viewers. He may have mixed feelings about what happened, but I bet he is feeling a bit more positive about it than negative. Now he must pay his debt by continuing to speak the truth about Islamic Terrorists.
