You can avoid reality, but you cannot avoid the consequences of avoiding reality.
Terrorist Attacks 'Surpassed the Number and Pace of Attacks During any Year Since 9/11' Weekly Standard
Chairman Lieberman, Senator Collins as you have already noted, the past year has noted the most significant developments in terrorism since 9/11. The three attempted homeland attacks during the past year from overseas based groups, and the two lone-wolf attacks here in the United States, Carlos Bledsoe in Arkansas and Nidal Hassan have surpassed the number and pace of attacks during any year since 9/11.
The range of al Qaeda core, affiliated and allies plotting against the homeland during the past year suggest the threat has in fact grown far more complex and underscores the challenges of identifying and countering a more diverse array of threats to the homeland.
Al Qaeda's affiliates and allies increasing ability to provide training, guidance, and support for attacks against the U.S. makes it very difficult to anticipate the precise nature of the next attack and from where it might come. The regional affiliates that have grown and allies have been able to compensate to some extent for the decreased willingness of al Qaeda in Pakistan to accept and train new recruits and additional attempts by al Qaeda affiliates and allies to attack the U.S., particularly attempts in the homeland, could attract the attention of even more western recruits, thereby increasing those groups' threat to the homeland.
And even failed attacks such as AQAP's and TTP's attempts this past year due to some extent further al Qaeda's goal of fomenting terrorist attacks against the West and demonstrate that some affiliates and allies and homegrown terrorists are embracing their vision. Today, al Qaeda in Pakistan is at one of its weakest points organizationally, but I would stress a significant ‘however,’ that the group has time and time again proven its resilience and remains a very capable and determined enemy. The threat as you have noted is compounded significantly by operationally distinct plotting against the U.S. by its allies, affiliates and sympathizers.
And what is the media's focus? Shilling and promoting a victory mosque at Ground Zero.

Brisk terror season. Thanks Obama.

I think WWIII has begun. No one wants to say the words just yet. But it's here.

Mohammed, the Perfect Man and role model for all Muslims, bragged 'I have been made victorious with terror' .
So it inevitably follows that wherever you have Muslims, you have terror. The more Muslims we allow into the West the greater the incidence of terrorism.

For every spectacular major attack, there are literally thousands of small-scale attacks that go unreported, or only reported in the local media. In the Muslim-infested areas of Europe these are known as 'Street Jihad' attacks: http://crombouke.blogspot.com/2010/01/muslim-street-jihad.html

Jihadists REALLY don't like self defense or retaliation though, so we'd better just keep letting them be violent in peace.

In educating the public re Islam, I think there are three main elements that need to be understood to end the menace of Jihad.
1)The first is to understand that Islam is not a personal religion. It is a political ideology that is at war with Dhimmis, Polytheists, atheists etc. Islam requires Sharia Law to be imposed everywhere on earth.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ib9rofXQl6w
2) There is a stratigraphic component. Zbigniew Brzezinski has preceptively called the Eurasian Islamic region the "Eurasian Balkans" (note map below) and has noted that the region is very similar to the Balkans on the eve of WW1 in terms of ethnic and sectarian hatreds, and how its instability is likely to spill over into the non-Islamic world. Jihad is a ferocious reality (not an overstated threat, as Bob Bickel thinks).

3) The third component is the need for reform in Islam. Muslims must have more opportunity to follow their conscience (Islam must become a completely personal religion).
Islam, as it currently exists, is a threat to Muslims and non-Muslims (1 and 2) and will continue to be a threat to human life and freedom until all deal with the dogmas of Islam. Islam must above all be reformed into a personal religion.

As per Imom Rauf and the phony Cavone initiative: if he were really a "bridge builder" he would condemn the abrogation of the "peaceful verses" in the Qu'ran and call for a condemnation of the verses that has Allah recommending deception, domination and finally the extermination of Dhimmis, polytheists, atheists etc. Above all, he would condemn the Jew-hating recommended by Allah's orders in the Qu'ran.
Western-Centric "tolerance" people need to wake up and realize that a real "bridge builder" will call for these things, and not a Mosque at GZ. Imom Rauf is part of the Jihad picture.

Finally, this the value of the genius Bob Bickle's recent response to Pamela. He does not have a clue as to what Pamela is about or what the Imom Rauf and the Cavone Initiative are about:

No,no,no this cannot be. I heard fatboy beckel with my own ears, and he said that we have to get over 9/11 as it was a onetime event and that we should stop with all the security measures, because we are not n any danger of a terrorist attack. The only danger we are in comes from Pamela Geller and Robert Spencer because they report about these threats. Beckel boy, I don't wish bad things to happen to people, but should we be hit again, I hope you are VERY close to the action. Just think, you will never have to pass through a security checkpoint again.

So what if there is another terrorsit attack? Pospotus obummer says the USA could absorb such an attack and he is the all great and intellectual one, even smarter than Bob Fatboy Beckel.

They've been successful with how many of those attacks?
You're welcome.

Let's show the terrorists, their Quislings like Beckel, our cowardly generals, our collaborationist government and our traitorous 'media' that we reject their lies, we despise their methods, and we will resist their goal:
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE AND REPOST. Burn the Koran for freedom and upload the video for the world to see. Defy Muslim Supremacists and their appeasers. Let it enrage them! Let their rage endanger the military! Remind the military that defeating danger from our enemies is their job. Force our generals and politicians to defend our rights against the enemy, not to defend the enemy against our rights. We can control this war from our own backyards. Let's roll.

gee, and all this during ozero's first year.

how to transform islam into a personal religion? you get the big prize if you can do that.
how to reform islam away from revering mohamhead and removing the violent koran verses?
you get a really big prize if you can do that too.
what's the solution? at this point, maybe a strong west showing brutal power against islamic regimes. the only thing they understand is force. they respect it. anything else is taken as weakness. if the u.s.a, israel and europe showed some real power and resolve, both militarily and culturally, we'd have a better chance. of course, this is a key problem as the media culture is spineless. i'd love to see allen west as president go kick ass.

Actually - how many of them originated in the USA? One at most, maybe two; the underwear bomber was a Dutch failure.
Other countries need to have as they say in Spanish, cojones.

"Muslim Terrorist Attacks 'Surpassed the Number and Pace of Attacks During any Year Since 9/11'"
This was absolutely predictable from the day Obama went to Cairo.

i think your intentions are good. how to get a significant majority of muslims to do it, i don't know. they can't let go of mohamhead, the evil bastard. they revere his stinking arse. they won't revise/reform the koran..it's 'divine'.

don't deny what's going on. if this is your response. you are not worth arguing with.

I am w/you on LTC West. George had it right to call it the global war on terror, his mistake was to not declare war on islam, but he did the best he could at the time. The only way to defeat islam is to crush it, and then let them start over w/supervision.

Doesn't matter if they were successful or not. The fact that the event took place at all is terrorislam. It's costing money. We used to have a joyful existence, now we have to deal with this bullshit instead of focusing on all the beautiful things that life on this planet has to offer. Thanks to islame. You are a nut, mnut. Not too smart are ya?
