60 Minutes on the Ground Zero Mosque

Considering it's CBS, yes it could have been worse, but it was pretty bad. I am called a "conspiracy theorist" for speaking the truth and investigating the stealth jihadists behind the mosque. You can write to CBS here.

Thug devleoper Sharif El- Gamal is treated with kid gloves. No mention of his rap sheet, his bullying of moderate Muslims against the mosque, or of the fact that he was just evicted from his office. He was a waiter a couple of years ago, and suddenly became a BSD developer on the medicare fraudster's dime: his financier, Hisham Elzanaty, was a large funder of Hamas (exposed in the Holy Land terror funding trial) while defrauding medicaid out of hundreds of thousands of dollars.

Worse still, Imam Feisal Rauf was packaged like a big fuzzy teddy bear. Nothing about his previous first performance on 60 minutes. It was right after 911, and Rauf blamed America for the 911 attacks. "Osama Bin Laden is made in the USA." Watch that video here.

He, too, was given a free pass. Nothing on his sanction of Hamas or his role in the jihad warship flotilla. Imam Rauf, the self-described "head coach" of the global strategic initiative -- audio here (his "players" include "the President of the United States, or the President of Malaysia, or the President of England" [sic]), said the following in tonight's 60 minutes episode:

"It's my duty as an American Muslim to stand between you, the American non-Muslim and the radicals trying to attack you."

More threats from this snake. He is going to save us ..... from jihadists? Who is going to save us from him? Please, Rauf, get out of the way, we'll save ourselves, thankyouverymuch.

His motive to build a mega mosque on Ground Zero was made painfully clear in this quote in the NY Times back in December 2009, announcing the Ground Zero mosque, and subsequently scrubbed from the article.

“New York is the capital of the world, and this location close to 9/11 is iconic,” Imam Feisal Abdul Rauf

A presence so close to the World Trade Center, “where a piece of the wreckage fell,” Imam Feisal added, “sends the opposite statement to what happened on 9/11.”

How's that?

“Building so close is owning the tragedy."

Rauf is the self-described "head coach" of the global strategic initiative and I'm the "conspiracy theorist?" Then again, CBS minutes thinks Oliver Stone is a ......... genius. So much for investigative journalism. 

Crawling Out from Under the Rauf Pamela Geller, American Thinker

Look what's crawling out from under the Rauf. Without his Albright résumé and subdued dhimmedia running interference, it is plain as day that this hustler, the renowned "moderate" Imam Feisal Abdul Rauf of the Park 51 Ground Zero mega-mosque initiative, is a lowlife. He has been exposed as a rat and vermin slumlord whose tenants live without basic services like hot water. He scammed New Jersey politicians and got taxpayer dollars for rehabilitation of his infested, dilapidated buildings in Union City and Palisades Park, but still his victimized tenants live in squalor. So where's the money?

The New Jersey Record reported that Rauf was sued for mortgage fraud in 2008 and settled the suit in June of that year. The suit reveals that Rauf owns two apartment buildings, one of which has been vacant since a fire broke out there -- a year after Rauf ignored citations for twelve different fire code violations.

That's not all. It has also recently come to light that Rauf and his wife, Daisy "the Con" Khan, listed their apartment as a mosque in order to conduct what amounts to tax fraud. Rauf was able to obtain tax-exempt status for his Muslim organization by deceiving the Internal Revenue Service: he told them that five hundred Muslims met regularly for worship at a "mosque" that was actually a tiny one-bedroom apartment (also listed as Daisy's residence). Rauf sought "church status" -- an official IRS term for a house of worship of any religion (though stealth Rauf, I am sure, is working the feds to change that term) -- for his organization, the American Society for Muslim Advancement (ASMA), and the clueless feds granted the request.

Gaining "church status" means much more than just that your organization doesn't have to pay taxes. It also means that you have very little accountability about how you spend your money.

Is New York Mayor Michael Bloomberg still kissing the backside of this "bridge-builder"?

And that's not all that's unsavory about the money that's pouring into the building of the mega-mosque and the people connected with this scheme. Rauf's thug developer in the project to build an Islamic supremacist mega-mosque on Ground Zero, Sharif El-Gamal, has a rap sheet a mile long. He recently wrote that "when you beat up someone physically you get exercise & stress relief," and it seems clear that he spoke from experience. And his financier, Hisham Elzanaty, was a large funder of Hamas (exposed in the Holy Land Foundation jihad terror funding trial) while defrauding Medicare out of hundreds of thousands of dollars.

Tell me again: where is this thug getting 125 million dollars? El-Gamal is now being evicted for non-payment of rent for his SoHo office.

Meanwhile, Rauf continues to be open about his support for Sharia. This week he made this wild and Islamic supremacist claim: "90% of Sharia law is fully compatible -- not only compatible -- it's consistent or compatible with American constitutional law and American laws. The areas of difference are small and minor."

The objective of the stealth jihadists and the Muslim Brotherhood proxies in the U.S. (CAIR, ISNA, ICNA, MAS, MSA, et al.) is to impose Islam and Sharia on the U.S., and so it is with Ground Zero Mosque Imam Rauf.

Rauf is mainstreaming the Sharia and the jihad ideology. And in suggesting that those of us defending American freedom and opposing his Ground Zero mosque are "extremists," he is trying to place 70% of Americans squarely on the same moral playing field as the Muslim terrorists who flew planes into buildings and have since committed close to 20,000 Islamic attacks of violent jihad across the world. The media and government fawning all over this subversive imam as he does this shows just how deeply we have been infiltrated by the enemy.

Make no mistake: Rauf did this. Rauf created this maelstrom over the Ground Zero mosque. Rauf created this divisiveness. Rauf created this fight, and he is loving every minute of it. It's all Islam, all the time. He could have done the decent thing months ago and shown some modicum of human compassion by moving the mosque. He is incapable of that, and everybody knows it.

How much more has to come out about him and his thuggish pals before New York politicians start to wake up?

Pamela Geller made valid points regarding the masque. Although it is legal to build a mosque and worship, it is extremely insensitive to build that close to ground zero. It is offensive to demand legal rights at the expense of a wounded populace. Americans are always expected to be sensitive to the needs and feelings of every minority, yet no other entity need ever show compassion towards us. I believe in all of the freedoms this country offers to everyone who chooses to live here. I just wish things were a little more reciprocal between us and those who live here yet never try to embody those American characteristics that we hold dear like empathy, compassion and good will.

FYI, I just wrote about this. 60 Minutes falsely said that Geller coined "Mosque at Ground Zero"/"Ground Zero Mosque" in December 2009, then showed her Human Events article from September 2010 without the date. It's the least that's wrong with the story, but it's the thing that should bring a correction.

60 Minutes clearly must issue a correction. Pamela Geller was not the first blog to use “Mosque at Ground Zero,” and the article shown was clearly and knowingly not even her 2009 article.

It was you that educated me in Islam, then I started reading JihadWatch Robert Spencer's guide to Islam that was featured at HotAir. Amir Taheri has an interesting article in which he says that the structure proposed at Ground Zero is more in line with a Rabat than a Mosque. It's part of Ground Zero since the building had been damaged on 9/11/2001 and vacated as a result. So perhaps we should label it as it truly is - the Ground Zero Victory Rabat.

In the article Amir writes: "In fact, the proposed structure is known in Islamic history as a rabat -- literally a connector. The first rabat appeared at the time of the Prophet."

Nobody would care that there are over 90 other mosques in Manhattan. So it's not about being Christian or not Christian. Islamic fundamentalists want to build a monument to the attack that they can look at and be proud of. That's why the location is important to them. If you walk across America and ask people of either gender, of any faith, of any race and of almost any age, how they feel about a Ground Zero Victory Mosque, most of them will suggest to you that it's not a great idea. As I mentioned, nobody cares that there is a prayer room -- anywhere and that would include the Pentagon, as CBS Sixty Minutes reported. Nobody would care that there are over 90 other mosques in Manhattan. So it's not about being Christian or not Christian or one religion over another. Islamic fundamentalists want to build a monument to the attack that they can look at and be proud of. That's why the location is important to them. And that's why there should be no mosque at Ground Zero.

If you give those Americans a little history lesson about Islam and frame the construction project in context, the numbers in opposition (including Muslims) will be a lot higher than 70%. In the long term that building will serve to divide people, not bring them together.

Do you know about major national issue in India, where temple was destroyed by the barbaric islamic invaders in 12th century and they placed a mosque. As you know, there has been an astonishing lack of knowledge of the actual teachings of Islam among non-Muslims (for example: most non-Muslims have not known that the earlier "peaceful" suras of the Qu'ran are canceled by the later chronological suras which call for the deceit, domination and finally violence against the Dhimmis, Polytheists, atheists etc.).

Pamela came across very well, direct and sincere. In the past, a person with Pamela's views would have had their motives questioned with the usual smears re bigotry etc. That was not on the radar in this 60 minutes segment. That's significant.

On the other hand, they gave quite a bid of time to Rauf-and his phoniness came across in body language and in that creepy way he has of speaking. There is something wrong with the imom. It comes across. El-Sham is just a cavone. But Rauf is creepy.

Pamela was treated as best as anyone with her views can be treated by a PC media at this time in history. In the future, she will be seen as heroic in her stand against this al-taqiyya being peddled at GZ.

However, given what we, and especially Pam, are actually up against, writing letters to CBS may make us feel better but will do precisely nothing about changing their attitudes or their policies. It will let them know how many of us are out here watching what they are up to, but it won't change anything. The "typical liberal 60 Minutes audience" sitting on their butts Sunday night drinking the ROP kool-aid ladled out by CBS was just interested in being reassured that there's nothing to worry about and the people who disagree with them are just racist and intolerant. They would have tuned out anything Pam had to say.

As Rauf himself indicated in the audio Pam ran a couple of posts down, this is a high-level game with huge stakes and he is a major player, if only as a mouthpiece for the money men in Saudi Arabia and elsewhere in the Muslim World. Point is that he and his cohorts really can control how CBS covers this story, what it puts on the air and what it chooses to leave out. Check with Emerson, Bolton, Phares, anyone else who knows how extensive the political and media infiltration has been over the past 30-40 years and just project how easy it is to control an outlet that's as owned as CBS (or CNN, or MSNBC, or the rest of that gang) is. If it weren't for Pam, Robert, and other anti-Islamic supremacist warriors having fought to get this outrage into the public eye, organizing rallies and appearing in the media and getting FOX to pay attention, the entire Cordoba House/Park51 rabat project would have been barely a blip on the screen until well after the funding was in, the construction begun, and it was impossible to ignore -- or to stop -- it.

Do you really believe infidels will be able to use the "community centres" amenities? Unlike the YM/WCA's, you won't be able to use the gym or swimming pool unless you are Muslim - you are unclean, if you were to swim in the pool at the center, it would have to be drained and completely scrubbed clean because you would have contaminated it. some people just don't get it or are unwilling to get it - they feel superior thinking they are enlightened and tolerant - Islam counts on that very reaction to implement Sharia.
