Month after month, the US death toll of our men and women in Iraq continues to break previous records for the deadliest month for U.S. forces in the nearly nine-year-long war in Afghanistan.
July's death of toll of 66 surpassed the record in June, when 60 American troops were killed (103 NATO troops were killed). And U.S. forces lost another 22 soldiers in Afghanistan since Friday, marking a bloody ratcheting it up. US deaths number 55 of the 76 coalition deaths in August, which topped a painful summer for coalition forces, with 102 foreign soldiers killed in Afghanistan in June and an additional 88 in July (more here)
Where are the BDS anti-war sideshow freaks protests outside Hyde Park? Or the golf course?
Why isn't anyone paying attention to this? Obama campaigned on this war. Iraq was the bad war, the wrong war. Obama said Afghanistan was the good war, the right war.
What was his plan? Our men and women are getting slaughtered by Obama's would-be peace partners, the Taliban.
Obama's rules of engagement are a devastating failure.
Eight years after the war began, Obama's first year in office, 2009, was the deadliest year for U.S. service members fighting in Afghanistan and the first time American casualties there exceeded the number in Iraq. Until now.
2010 has already become the deadliest year for U.S. troops in the nine-year-long war in Afghanistan.
Where is the media? Our finest young Americans are being slaughtered? Remember, during Operation Iraqi Freedom, there was the daily broadcast of US deaths -- recounted ad nauseum. Now, all quiet on the left wing front.
What is Obama's mission by objective? Partnering with the Taliban? Whatever it is, the result is the humiliation of the US military and maximum death.
Obama's Afghanistan is a more effective US killing machine than the enemy. Bring the troops home. He's killing them.
2010 Already Deadliest Year for U.S. in Nine-Year Afghan War CNS
The U.S. has suffered 320 military fatalities in Afghanistan since Jan. 1, 2010, exceeding the 303 suffered in 2009, which until now had been the deadliest year for American troops in Afghanistan since the U.S.-led invasion started in October 2001.

This August, with at least 54 U.S. fatalities, has been the deadliest August of the war and the second deadliest month in through all nine years of the war. July of this year, with 66 U.S. casualties, was single deadliest month of the war.
The majority of all American deaths in the war in Afghanistan have occurred under Obama’s watch, according to a CNSNews.com database of Afghanistan war casualties. 612 U.S. soldiers have died since Obama was inaugurated on Jan. 20, 2009, or about 52 percent of the overall 1,181 fatalities (which includes both combat-related casualties and non-combat fatalities).
On average, more than one soldier has died per day since Obama officially became president.

Improvised Explosive Devices (IEDs) continue to be the number one killer of U.S. troops.
Among the 300 combat-related deaths this year, at least 163 were caused by IEDs. (The total number of deaths caused by IEDs could be even greater given that the Department of Defense does not always report the weaponry responsible for a combat casualty.)
CNSNews.com has been unable to determine the cause of death for 35 casualties so far this year.
At least 515 soldiers have been killed by IEDs during the entire course of the war. That is almost 50 percent of the 1,017 total combat-related casualties. There have been 46 fatalities in the war so far for which the cause of death was not available.
