You Tube Pulls "We Con the World Video"

In a crushing blow to free speech and freedom of conscience, and a blatant act of Jew-hatred, the dhimmis at you tube pulled the funny, dead on balls parody of 'we are the world' off you tube.

Why?

For those of us who live on the web, and I count myself among them, it is long known that you tube is a jihadist recruiting website where all forms of al qaeda, nazi, Islamic militarism can be found. The uglier the Jew-hate the better on Jew-hate tube.

I hope Caroline Glick, creator of Latma, and the entertainment company behind Latma make the file available so we can all upload the clip to youtube and keep uploading -- while those ass clowns run around trying to keep up with the truth.

Glick  writes:

YouTube's decision to pull Latma's hit song We Con the World after 3 million viewers shows that Israel's enemies are afraid of us. Since they cannot refute our points, they are trying to silence us. First they threw ridiculous accusations at Latma that our parody of We are the World was racist. When that didn't stick and more and more people continued to watch our song, they decided to silence us. 

Obviously this means that we need to redouble our efforts. It also means we'll have to diversify our posting options to make sure that a call to YouTube won't suffice to silence us. 

Latma is not a business. We're a public service, educational initiative funded from tax exempt donations through the Center for Security Policy in Washington where I serve as senior fellow for Middle East affairs.

We could use all the help we can get.

I rarely start the day with a smile anymore but since that video came out, I watch it every morning before I leave for work and it puts a smile on my face and a song in my heart. NOTHING ticks off the liberal sympathizers more than laughing in their faces while showing them the middle finger. BRAVO to Caroline Glick and the other cast of wonderful characters! You guys are a huge hit and I hope you will continue to satirize the insanity of the world through your music. I'm not smart enough to know how to distribute web content via ham radio but SOMEBODY out there has already got something like that figured out. I am a "born-again" reformed Christian who reads Atlas Shrugs in addition to my regular Bible reading and other relevant books and articles. I am so heartened by the bravery and courage of folks like Pam Geller and Robert Spencer. They truly are taking their lives into their own hands. I am currently reading Foxe's Book of Martyrs which is about the brutal treatment of the early first century true Biblical Christians. The brutality of the "pagans" (Rome for example) against the early Christians pales in comparison to the brutality inflicted on them by the so-called "church fathers" after Christianity became more widely accepted. It shows you that brutatlity of people in the name of "religion" is beyond the scope of human understanding. And after watching Fitna by Geert Wilders, we are probably looking at a similar fate as long as shills and pawns like YouTube continue to bow to the master of Islam and the almighty dollar. BTW, there has been more blood spilled in the 20th century by Islamofascists, Nazis, atheistic Marxists/Leninists than all the centuries prior. And much of it has been for religious reasons. The aforementioned hate the Judeo/Christian faith with a passion.

If YouTube is in fact backed by big money from Islamofascists, then someone with relatively deep pockets needs to develop another source site like YouTube for videos if one doesn't already exist. Though I am leary of some of the videos on GodTube, that might be a place as most Christians right now in America are very sympathetic to what the Jews around the world are facing.

May I say now, I will defend my faith to the death and that includes defending, loving, and praying for the Jewish people whom I love with a God-given love. In Genesis 12:2-3 it is a clear message that God gave Abraham, "2 "I will make you into a great nation and I will bless you; I will make your name great, and you will be a blessing. 3 I will bless those who bless you, and whoever curses you I will curse; and all peoples on earth will be blessed through you." I just looked at the Youtube page for the video. This was pulled at the insistence of Warner/Chappel music due to a copyright claim. I am assuming they meant the "We are the World" song which this video satires. I think that the video was doing too well in the way of hits and Warner noticed this. If it was more of a parody and not so much satire, I think that they wouldn't have a case to pull it. I still think that they shouldn't have pulled it, but that's my opinion not some Hollywood copyright lawyer's. Pulling it just makes Warner look like they're backing the wrong horse.

If Warner/Chappel, as Karl suggests, is the reason then it should not be sufficient. Fair use and public comment should trump a copyright in should a comedic effort.

But, just keep posting it, folks. The way to download it is to use Firefox, get a free download add-on (which are simple to install and use - just follow the cues), then just go to YouTube and keep posting it until they give up. You might vary the title so that it cannot be automatically deleted but put "we con the world" somewhere in the tags... :)

Too bad about youtube. I enjoy the vintage music there, like Albert Collins playing Honey Hush. I can also ususally find a decent video covering the takedown and assembly of any particular gun I need; it was a youtube video that showed me the trick for assembling the bolt into the receiver on my 10/22.

But getting back on topic, if you want a laugh youtube hasn't pulled these hilarious shorts (yet) - check out Sands of Passion. It's the soap opera about Al Qaeda and it is funny. So funny one may spew beer all over their keyboard, don't ask how I know.

So in essence, numbers: Hundreds of millions of users would have been lost to YT.

Anyways, that being said, most of the comments above mine aren't very bright either, but Karl was right on the dot though, they did take the video out at the insistence of Warner Bros/Chappel, a company that pulls a lot of videos out, or at least a lot of the Audio from videos out, on Youtube; and Youtube would rather comply then spend a whole day in court arguing whether it fair use or not.

And you know, a day in court costs money, youtube certainly doesn't want to pay money to defend Glick's piece of art. That's why Youtube took it off. It's not racist, Warner Bros isn't racist. If you're not happy or disagree with their lawyers, sue them (Warner, not the lawyer), but in the mean time we should lay off Youtube, it ain't their fault, they just don't wanna be sued. News just in the District Court of Central California has just delivered summary judgement in a similar case of Chuck DeVore's campaign video, finding that the video was not parody but satire and hence copyright theft. The case now goes to trial on wilfulness which could result in a judgement of $150,000. Hope Caroline Glick and those reposting the video have deep pockets. Warner could reap $millions on this.
