Palin just gets better and better, and she was brilliant to begin with. It is no wonder Obama and his left-wing paramilitary thugs are scared to death of her. This is what the leader of the free world should sound like.
Over at Conservatives for Palin:
John McCormack at the Weekly Standard has obtained an advance copy of Governor Palin's imminent Facebook Post:
The media, as usual, seems to be reporting only one side of the Israeli Flotilla incident. Don’t trust the mainstream media to give you both sides of a story fairly… you must seek out fair reporting to ensure you have all the information.
As far too many in the media, and in various governments, rush to condemn Israel, we must put the recent events off Israel’s coast into the right perspective. This “relief” convoy was not about humanitarian aid, as the liberal mainstream media keepsreporting. The whole operation was designed to provoke Israel, not to provide supplies to Palestinians held hostage by Hamas terrorists in Gaza. Anyone who sees the video of Israeli commandos being attacked as they land on that ship knows the people aboard were vicious thugs, not “peace activists.” The media insults our intelligence with their outright mischaracterization of who these enemies are.
Israel delivers thousands of tons of humanitarian supplies every week to Gaza. These ships could have offloaded their cargoes at a nearby Israeli port if they really wanted to help the people of Gaza. Instead, they chose to incite confrontation and violence. Israel has a right to prevent arms shipments to Gaza that will be used to target innocent Israelis, so they were legitimately checking the cargo on the flotilla. Turkey has chosen to condemn Israel but we should be asking some serious questions about Turkey’s role in this whole affair. Why is a fellow member of NATO sponsoring such a dangerous publicity stunt? As one expert points out: “Three ships of that six-ship pro-terror convoy flew Turkish flags and were crowded with Turkish citizens. The Ankara government – led by Islamists these days – sponsored the ‘aid’ operation in a move to position itself as the new champion of the Palestinians. And Turkish decision-makers knew Israel would have to react – and were waiting to exploit the inevitable clash. The provocation was as cynical as it was carefully orchestrated.”We can only hope the Obama Administration does not join the anti-Israel chorus in the aftermath of this staged confrontation. Please, Mr. President, we need to let Israelis know we stand with them in their fight against terrorists and those who arm and support them. America and her ally, Israel, stand by waiting for your response.- Sarah Palin
UPDATE: Palin nalied it. Check this out: Flotilla ‘Aid’ to Gaza Includes Expired Medicines, Old Equipment
Much of the equipment and supplies aboard the “humanitarian” ships for Gaza has been checked and found to be worthless.
The cargo was taken off the boats at the Ashdod port and checked there, in accordance with the Israeli embargo on Gaza. The embargo is an acceptable measure taken between entities that are in a state of armed conflict, as are Israel and Hamas-run Gaza.
An IDF source said that the poor condition of the supplies renders most of it unusable. “This once again strengthens the evaluation that the intentions of the flotilla organizers were not humanitarian in the first place,” he said.
Many of the medicines are expired and/or came in an assorted, not easily organized manner. In addition, much of the equipment is in poor condition. Despite this, it is being taken to the Kerem Shalom crossing, and will be distributed in Gaza by human rights organizations.
Israel, despite the blockade, allows thousands of tons and food into Gaza each day.
Of course, they do. It was never about that. These savages abhor basic human goodness. Like vampires they recoil from it.

Yashir Koach to Sarah Palin;hopefully some of the 78% of Jews...(when did Jews start thinking like Chews?)...will remember that statement two years from now-and get the current shmuck in the White House's tuchis outa there..

Did those aboard these ships attack the Israeli soldiers or did they submit to an inspection of the ship? Ships off the coasts of America are boarded by the US coast guard everyday to inspect for drugs, weapons and other contraband, as well as stowaways. If the US Coast Guard was attacked viciously by those aboard any ships they check, the results could easily be the same.Israel allows 1000 of tons of food and medicine through properly UN and Israeli designated channels every week into Gaza.
It remains very telling to note who condemns the Israelis, while in some cases completely ignoring the attack on these IDF Soldiers. The Islamists commanding this flotilla made it very clear that they where going to ignore the Israeli order to not go into Gaza and the Israeli command has it on video tape. In fact the whole movement has been videoed, including video of the attack seen with an infrared camera in the 2AM night--no doubt something the Islamists did not count on when they created the deliberate provocation towards Israel.
Governor Palin recognizes the never ending struggle Israel has in dealing with these giant Muslim countries on all sides. There is Egypt,Jordan,Lebanon,Syria,Saudia Arabia and a total host of 56 Muslim countries who refuse to accept any Palestinians and yet the focus is always on this tiny little postage stamp of a country that represents the only true democracy and US ally in the region.

Ed, you mean thinking intelligently and distinguishing between propaganda bs and the truth, which obviously you are not apt to do. Let me guess, you voted for Obama. Israel, is THE good guy. Some sweet day the entire world will realize this and lick the dust of their feet. Until that day, leave it to strong, think-for-themselves women to set people like you straight.

Inevitably, there will be a next time. Hopefully then, when the IDF boards ships, they'll have their weapons drawn and ready to fire. It's also hoped that the person[s] that planned this operation learned a lesson of screw world opinion, and foremost and first, to use whatever means necessary to protect Israeli troops.

@ Ed: You're the most ridiculous thing I've read anywhere all day. Thanks for the laugh. @ Brian: why would we wait two years? Obumma must be impeached NOW! IMPEACH, convict (of treason and betrayal) and deport to his native homeland: the Saudi (home is where the heart is, don'tcha know). Gov. Palin has just earned herself a whole new level of respect. Props to Sarah

Concise and accurate commentary from Gov. Palin. (Btw, not that I know that much about the situation, but from what I've heard Joe McGinniss is a snake. Good on her for building that fence.)

I would like to recommend to everybody PJTV video interviewing Sam Cohen, father of the neutron bomb.
For me, what he says is the only answer.

Will someone explain to me why South Korea can torpedo a North Korean ship (killing 46 innocent sailors in an overt act of war) and the collective world yawns?
But, let the Muslims provoke the Israelis into boarding ships with the potential and expressed intent to carry contraband people and weapons (in the future if not now & in the future if permitted now) and the whole world acts like a restrained Israeli response is the end of the world....
Maybe the Israelis should just use torpedoes next time?

I love how she tells it like it is...in plain, simple language. The truth never needs spin.
Btw, Palin tweeted something today about how Gov Jindal, who's been waiting for weeks for permission from the Feds to build sand barriers to protect coastal marshlands from the oil washing ashore, should go ahead and do what he's got to do to protect the LA coastline. She said that it's easy enough to ask forgiveness later. G-d love her for being right on that one, too.

Juniper, I saw that interview and Gaza strikes me as the PERFECT venue for the neutron bomb.

Here's a concise and accurate response to the next provocation. Let these ships come into Israeli waters, so that there's no "international waters" red herring to be employed. And then attack the rear of these vessels where the rudder and propeller are with machine gun fire from PT boats or helicopters and disable them.
Then just leave them drift there until the passengers agree to evacuate peaceably Then tow the boats out into international waters and release them. Nobody gets killed; nothing to really get up in arms about
Posted by: Call me Lennie | Tuesday, June 01, 2010 at 07:18 PM
@ Jim Parkey "Sarah just 'knows' what the 'intent' and design' of the convoy was for, doesn't she? She doesn't source her opinion..."
Actually the leader of the Flotilla said it, the whole purpose is to break the blockade on Gaza, not deliver humanitarian aid.
I'm guessing Sarah Palin reads.

Sounding presidential... but come 2012, if she is chosen as candidate, will all the "world knowledge" gaffes of 2008 resurface to become YouTube hits? Palin is a polarising figure - with many liking her, but perhaps even more seeing weaknesses in her.
Sarah Palin is a fine citizen - but would someone like Mitt Romney (electable in the liberal states, and who Spencer chose as his most-counterjihad out of the 2008 candidates) not be a better bet for taking the White House back from President Hussein?
Posted by: Green_Infidel | Tuesday, June 01, 2010 at 08:05 PM
I love Sarah Palin. Her spine and personal moral code make her a force to be reckoned with and a great America citizen.
However, I still cannot see these things in and of themselves making her a very good president of the United States (that is not meant as a put down at all). I still prefer Michelle Bachmann or Jannet Brewer as leading presidential candidates.
Posted by: pythagoras | Tuesday, June 01, 2010 at 08:47 PM
Sarah may be polarizing at a time many of us want to "heal the nation". But our alliance with Israel is non-negotiable. It is our national defense and our nation honor to support all of our loyal allies, and especially Israel. What the Obama admin has done to our allies is the greatest national disgrace I have ever witnessed.
Turkey has been slipping into the dark world of Islamism lately. But they were never a true ally of the US, Israel, or the West in general. Now that they see the US in decline, it's nothing for them to change sides and ally themselves with Iran.

Pythagoras
Its incredible that you with the name you have chosen for yourself, can't put two and two together. Both Michelle Bachmann and Janet Brewer have called on Palin for political help and both admire the woman. And yet, you would rather have those women as presidential candidates, than the woman they both admire?

Some of the valuable cargo space was full teddy bears. And they weren't properly wrapped so teddy bears are the first thing we saw with the dramatic opening of the cargo hold.
So, apparently these brave humanitarians died trying to brighten the lives of children with gifts from the good people of the world.
Does anyone really fall for this? Or is just the people who are preprogramed to be outraged on command?
Posted by: Telly | Tuesday, June 01, 2010 at 09:11 PM
One more comment and then I'll be quiet.
I would support Sarah Palin for pres. just because of her stance on national defense and our alliance with Israel. Of course she is not perfect but I trust she would fill her cabinet with competent American Exceptionalists. How about John Bolton as Sec of State? Remember what he said about Israel right to self-defense before the UN GA?
We need a dream team in Washington to clean up after the current administration.
Posted by: Telly | Tuesday, June 01, 2010 at 09:20 PM
Israel needs to find a quick kibosh for these incursions. A fast speedboat with a small limpet mine could blow the props right off these boats without injuring any of the so-called "activist" nabobs onboard.
Leave them dead in the water and force them to have Israel tow them into port without ever boarding the ships.
The clear intention of these attacks is to provoke an international incident. Don't give them what they want, just chop their little prop shafts off and leave them bobbing like corks at the whim of the currents.
BTW, why are the GREEKS so interested in protecting Palis? Could it be that THEY know where the Phillistines REALLY came from?

"BTW, why are the GREEKS so interested in protecting Palis? Could it be that THEY know where the Phillistines REALLY came from"?

You would think the Greeks have enough problems of their own due to their massive socialist, welfare nanny state that they wouldn't have the time or resources to agitate against Israel. While the Greeks are drowning, Israel is thriving economically.

There will likely be another such flotilla and Israel had better have a strategy for handling it better next time. Paint ball? They were obviously lacking adequate intel.
I think the suggestions of simply foundering the flotilla ships without boarding has merit. Who knows? There were those who were willing, even eager, to become martyrs on these ships. Perhaps the next flotilla will include suicide-bomb vessels. Paint ball? The Israeli armed forces are better than that and need to step up.

I don't know why, Egghead, but it's the way of this world for the Jews to always be persecuted, and the persecution runs the spectrum from attempted genocide to getting stuck with the blame in any conflict to being stereoptyped unfairly. And while Israel's restrained response isn't the end of the world, the unending persecution of the Jews by the rest of the world will, eventually, bring on the last days of this world.

Dictionary definition of the word "fey"; whimsical, strange, appearing to be under a spell, doomed, being in an unnaturally excited state of mind once thought to portend death, doomed to die------------weird, huh?

I believe Sarah Palin would make a great President. The first time I heard her speak, I was very impressed with her uniqueness and honesty. I love the stance she takes for Israel. The one thing I would ask Sarah not to do is encourage a Palestinian State, side by side with Israel. It will never work, as the "so-called" Palestinians (Arabs) do not want to live in peace with Israel. They want Israel's total destruction, and will settle for nothing less. It is time for America's leaders to see this and not continue to force such a entity upon Israel. Israel's leaders need to follow suit and stop the insanity of impossible dreams. Be realistic in your goals for Israel, and realize a side by side Palestinian State with Israel is a failed idea, that must be discarded!
My hat is off to Sarah Palin and Pamela Geller. Great ladies who are sorely needed at this time!
Sincerely,
Shoshannah Blalock

juniper writes, "Will someone explain to me why South Korea can torpedo a North Korean ship (killing 46 innocent sailors in an overt act of war) and the collective world yawns?"
Actually, that's backwards. It was North Korea that torpedoed a South Korean ship. (South Korea, one shouldn't forget, is a US ally.)

Anyone with open eyes and common sense can see from the films that the IDF was attacked outright, before they even touched deck. It was completely set up by radical scumbags and they got less than what they deserved. Israel should have sunk the ship that was carrying loads of metal for weapons and out of date medical supplies. It was all made for publicity and to turn people against Israel. Those who cannot see that and those who condemn Israel should be ashamed to call themselves Christians, if that is what they call themselves.
Don't chance anymore encounters, Israel. Just blow the next one out of the water! They deserve it!
God Bless Israel and the IDF!

Except for one or two who respond in here, the commentaries are just too plain nasty. Not to mention rather inane. It is good to see what Americans are when they drop the false smiles and bare their fangs. Americans turning into the mad dog that Menach Begin said Israel would have to become. Vengeful, misled, not too intelligent and content to mouth vicious Israeli cliches instead of actually thing of alternatives or anythng that might have a positive impact all the way around. Gee, the American educational plan of dumbing down and killing off the ability to use logic among the hoi polloi really is obvious here.
Then to find you ready to follow a woman who is barely literate, already bought and sold by the Sanhedrin, and adored by a woman who, although I disagree with on a political level, I had actually considered far seeing within her own intellectual confines.
Guess I was wrong. By the way, that film of the vicious activists? Israel has already admitted it was Israeli made. Their cache of vicious tools taken from the activists? In the FLICKR site kept the the Israeli Ministry of Foreign Affairs have had some of those photos on file for many years. Go figger. So believe the faked films made by Israel but if you have any sense of justice, look at the films let out a few weeks after the flotilla attack for the truth of the matter.
