You are aware that unless some illegal action took place while acquiring the land and zoning requirements, there is not really anything that you can do other than remind people that it is being built as a symbol of successful conquest, right?

What you might try to do is convince the government to acquire the land through eminent domain for the sake of building a 9/11 memorial and museum on that land instead.

Meanwhile, check through the records and make certain that all the transactions were legitimate and that it was not financed through terrorists or countries associated with terrorism (Syria, Iran, etc.).

JS, if the government won't do this, there must be some way to tie up the actually building with processing permits, etc. veeeeeeeeeeery slowly, no? There's got to be some loophole they slipped thru or some covered up illegality. Your last idea about terrorist financing is the best bet.

i have read somewhere that if pig's blood was poured on this ground it would disqualify them from building on this site. so all the monies raised by these jihadi's would go to waste. may be this should be done anyway besides all the protests and oppositions.

There is talk of preventing the mosque because the building has landmark status. But IMHO that is no longer the point. Their audacity has given us a rallying point. I normally only talk to my friends about this, but I handed out some flyers last night and I met 2 Long Island firemen. One said, "WTF? NO WAY!! I was There!!!" The younger one said, "What's a mosque?" After we told him he said, "OMG. We have a copier at the firehouse. We'll make copies and get these out." I realized that we, on this website, and others like it, are Paul Revere. We have armies out there. They just need to be woken up. Needless to say, there are flyers being mailed to all the L.I. firehouses today.

After reading the original protest announcement, have made numerous copies of the poster and supplied to many business' on Chambers St, between W. Broadway and Church St, and have alerted many Downtown/Tribeca residents of what's taking place...The Business people I know are very upset!!!...Actually walked by The Burlington Coat Factory on Wednesday, right next door to The Dakota Roadhouse on Park Place.....Building is only 6 stories right now, boarded up, with a Retail Space available sign on the front, some garbage dumpsters nearby......Many, many people are UPSET that Community Board 1 and/or Bloomberg are so Politically Correct that will allow this to happen!!!!....This is only about THE PERCEPTION OF HOW ISLAM IS TAKING OVER THE BASTION OF CAPITALISM-WALL ST.....62 friends of mine got killed that day....NEVER FORGET!!!!!!

JS makes a point. This is a problem not just for NYC. We have it all over the country. There is a Federal law passed in 2000 called the Religious Land Use and Institutionalized Persons Act (RLUIPA) which makes it extremely difficult to deny conditional use permits and zoning request changes to religious entities. Translation: expensive lawsuits in Federal court that will almost certainly rule in favor of the Mosque.
We need multiple approaches. Where there's a law there's always a loophole - we need good legal research to find them. Public awareness and outrage is an absolutely crucial starting point but it can't stand by itself.
Pig blood? yeah maybe, same thought occurred to me, but don't get caught. How about spilling a tub of hot lard?

Sounds to me like this Muhammad guy is a well know sex offender. I understand that he is an authenticated pedophile. Is he a registered sex offender? If so it would seem that he and his pedophile friends would be barred from public places where children could fall victim to their perverted sexual desires.
Does this Muhammad wear a GPS device on his ankle? And has he checked in with the local authorities in New York as required by law?

Final question - Why are they building a place for people to honor this criminal? Is this going to be a special detention center for convicted pedophiles? I could maybe understand that, but why build it at Ground Zero? What does that have to do with the 9-11 attacks that destroyed the World Trade Center and killed thousands of innocent people?

Wish I could be at the rally, but I've got other plans. Unfortunately, they're about the most legitimate plans I could possibly have that would make me forego such a protest (appleseed), which is about the only thing that is keeping me from purchasing a plane ticket to NYC right now.

If this mosque does go up, I am seriously afraid that somebody will eventually try to bomb it. This really could be the thing that pushes America against the wall.

The most effective way to ensure that them terrorists don't erect a terrorist recruiting station at Ground Zero is this:

Mix pig blood with pig shit, along with crushed pig internal organs, go to that site and start pouring, covering the whole ground with that stuff, that will put a permanent curse on them moslem terrorists !
