Tohseef Shah, 21, admitted a charge of criminal damage to the memorial, outside Burton College in Burton on Trent, when he appeared at Burton Magistrates Court.

Exclusive: Two New York Men Arrested for Trying to Help Al Qaeda NBC NY

Two New York men have been arrested and charged with trying to help Al Qaeda terrorists, NBCNewYork.com has learned.  An official announcement on these latest terror arrests in New York is expected later Friday.  

Law enforcement officials said there is no specific threat to the city and that the case centers more on the men's efforts to assist the terror network overseas. These terror related-arrests come just months after the FBI and NYPD arrested three men in the so-called Zazi subway terror plot.

A spokeswoman for U.S. Attorney Preet Bharara declined to comment saying any announcement would come later Friday.  FBI and NYPD spokesmen also declined comment.

One source said both men hold  U.S. citizenship and that of another country. Both had recently traveled overseas.  Sources said the men were seeking to provide financial support to terrorists.  Investigators said the men had traveled overseas numerous times in connection with this case. 

The specific charges are unclear but could include providing material support for terror.

And secondly, what criminal offence is being committed that requires a SWAT (special weapons and tactics)team? And third, if they find an offence worthy of their presence, what are they going to do - arrest everyone or shoot the rig and put it out of Washington's misery?

Without fanfare, the United Nations this week elected Iran to its Commission on the Status of Women, handing a four-year seat on the influential human rights body to a theocratic state in which stoning is enshrined in law and lashings are required for women judged "immodest."

NEW YORK — Without fanfare, the United Nations this week elected Iran to its Commission on the Status of Women, handing a four-year seat on the influential human rights body to a theocratic state in which stoning is enshrined in law and lashings are required for women judged "immodest."

Just days after Iran abandoned a high-profile bid for a seat on the U.N. Human Rights Council, it began a covert campaign to claim a seat on the Commission on the Status of Women, which is "dedicated exclusively to gender equality and advancement of women," according to its website.

Buried 2,000 words deep in a U.N. press release distributed Wednesday on the filling of "vacancies in subsidiary bodies," was the stark announcement: Iran, along with representatives from 10 other nations, was "elected by acclamation," meaning that no open vote was requested or required by any member states — including the United States.

The U.S. currently holds one of the 45 seats on the body, a position set to expire in 2012. The U.S. Mission to the U.N. did not return requests for comment on whether it actively opposed elevating Iran to the women's commission.

Iran's election comes just a week after one of its senior clerics declared that women who wear revealing clothing are to blame for earthquakes, a statement that created an international uproar — but little affected their bid to become an international arbiter of women's rights.

"Many women who do not dress modestly ... lead young men astray, corrupt their chastity and spread adultery in society, which (consequently) increases earthquakes," said the respected cleric, Hojatoleslam Kazem Sedighi.

As word of Iran's intention to join the women's commission came out, a group of Iranian activists circulated a petition to the U.N. asking that member states oppose its election.

"Iran's discriminatory laws demonstrate that the Islamic Republic does not believe in gender equality," reads the letter, signed by 214 activists and endorsed by over a dozen human rights bodies.

The letter draws a dark picture of the status of women in Iran: "women lack the ability to choose their husbands, have no independent right to education after marriage, no right to divorce, no right to child custody, have no protection from violent treatment in public spaces, are restricted by quotas for women's admission at universities, and are arrested, beaten, and imprisoned for peacefully seeking change of such laws."

The Commission on the Status of Women is supposed to conduct review of nations that violate women's rights, issue reports detailing their failings, and monitor their success in improving women's equality.

Yet critics of Iran's human rights record say the country has taken "every conceivable step" to deter women's equality.

"In the past year, it has arrested and jailed mothers of peaceful civil rights protesters," wrote three prominent democracy and human rights activists in an op-ed published online Tuesday by Foreign Policy Magazine.

"It has charged women who were seeking equality in the social sphere — as wives, daughters and mothers — with threatening national security, subjecting many to hours of harrowing interrogation. Its prison guards have beaten, tortured, sexually assaulted and raped female and male civil rights protesters."

Iran's elevation to the commission comes as a black eye just days after the U.S. helped lead a successful effort to keep Iran off the Human Rights Council, which is already dominated by nations that are judged by human rights advocates as chronic violators of essential freedoms. The current membership of the women's commission is little different.

Though it touts itself as "the principal global policy-making body" on women's rights, the makeup of the commission is mostly determined by geography and its membership is a hodge-podge of some human rights advocates (including the U.S., Japan, and Germany) and other nations with stark histories of rights violations.

While after interrogation all other detainees were brought to Nobonyad police station by basij and intelligence agents, the plain clothes agents kept Taraneh in a building near Hosseinie Ershad.

According to witnesses, while most of the participants in the ceremony were dressed in normal clothes and trainers, Taraneh was wearing chic clothes and high-heeled shoes, and caught the interrogators’ attention because of her hairstyle, make-up and beauty.

Obama say: We seek broader engagement based upon mutual interest and mutual respect. We will listen carefully, we will bridge misunderstanding, and we will seek common ground. We will be respectful even when we do not agree.

A New Jersey court has ruled that bloggers are not journalists (now they’ve taken to the courts to establish this!). New Jersey Superior Court Appellate Judge Anthony J. Parrillo ruled last week that a blogger named Shellee Hale is not a journalist, and so does not enjoy the same protections that journalists do from being forced to reveal their sources.

Actually, this tool of a judge is right. For the most part, journalists today act as shills for the Democrat party. They cover up for the party’s crimes and excesses, obfuscate the effects of its disastrous policies, and propagandize for Obama’s agenda.

In that sense, bloggers are not journalists. The best bloggers aren’t shilling for Obama and Pelosi the way journalists are. Instead, bloggers are doing the heavy lifting. Who breaks the stories today? Bloggers. Take my own blog, AtlasShrugs.com, for example. I broke the explosive story of tens of thousands of dollars of Obama contributions from a Hamas-controlled “refugee” camp in Gaza. Did the “journalists” in the mainstream media pursue this story? Not a chance. Obama’s odd relationship with Kenyan pro-Sharia politician Raila Odinga? Atlas! Not to mention the numerous revelations I broke on the Rifqa Bary story (here and here and here and here), the story of the young Ohio girl who fled from her family in fear for her life after converting from Islam to Christianity.

And all those stories are just off the top of my head. The corruption is so deep in all branches of the U.S. government, it is jaw-dropping. But the journalists don’t care. They have other priorities. Tops on their list is demonizing the conservative opposition to Barack Obama and the Democrats.

If you suffered through some recent Sunday morning news shows, you may have seen “journalist” David Gregory in a particularly pompous mode, positing yet again that the real threat to America is the threat of one man, one terror attack — that of Timothy McVeigh, well over a decade ago. To hear “journalists” like Gregory tell it, the 15,000 Islamic attacks across the world since 9/11 are the work of an insignificant “fringe.” The actual threat comes from “right-wing extremists.”

LONDON – A lecture given by Israel's Deputy Ambassador to Britain Talya Lador-Fresher at the University of Manchester deteriorated Wednesday into violence when pro-Palestinian protesters stormed at the diplomat in an attempted attack.

The protesters were waiting for Lador-Fresher outside the lecture hall, but this did not deter her from entering as planned. Immediately upon her exit, the protesters lunged at the diplomat, prompting security guards to whisk her back into the hall. Following a consultation on the site, it was decided to escort her out of the premises in a police car.

The deputy ambassador was removed from the hall and into the police vehicle. However, this did not block the protesters, who surrounded the car and climbed on the hood, trying to break the windshield.

Lador-Fresher ultimately was taken away from the scene safe and sound.

This is all part of Obama's Jihad. He took an oath to protect and defend the US against all enemies foreign and domestic, and he is both. This is legally actionable, but who will do it? Who will lead us out of this nightmare?

The Fort Hood Attack: Unresolved By Congressman John Carter

Anwar al-Awlaki, a radical Al-Qaeda leader from the Washington, D.C. area but now hiding in Yemen, played a role in the 9-11 attacks, along with attempted attacks in 2006 on the Canadian Parliament and in 2007 against U.S. soldiers at Fort Dix, New Jersey. Then on November 5, 2009, he succeeded in helping instigate the deadly attack on Fort Hood, Texas leaving 14 Americans dead and 30 wounded.

Al-Awlaki then dispatched a second assassin to bomb a U.S. airliner on Christmas Day, which attempt fortunately failed. Awlaki has since released a video claiming credit for the Fort Hood and airliner attacks, acknowledging his role, and praising the attackers.

Yet the Obama Administration continues to deny the Fort Hood attack was terrorism, failed to grant the casualties the same status as that given casualties from the 2001 Pentagon attack, conspicuously omitted even mention of the words “radical Islamic terrorism” in the official DOD report on the shootings, and will not acknowledge the role of political-correctness in stifling whistleblower warnings of the impending attack.

Now the Administration is refusing to fully comply with a Senate Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee subpoena that the Pentagon share documents and witnesses concerning the incident.

Senate Homeland Security Chairman Joe Lieberman (I-CT) and Ranking Minority Member Susan Collins (R-MA) issued the subpoena after the Administration refused to provide those documents on the request of the committee.

The Administration bases their denial on the argument that releasing the information might endanger their prosecution of Major Nidal Hasan.

As a state judge who presided over murder trials for 20 years before coming to Congress, that’s ludicrous. Any prosecutor who can’t win a conviction against Hasan with literally dozens of eyewitnesses doesn’t need to be a prosecutor.

House and Senate members are not convinced that the Pentagon is taking the necessary steps to provide maximum deterrance to similar attacks in the future, or to respond to the aftermath of this attack. This is why subpoenas have been issued, and why I have introduced legislation to remedy these shortcomings.

As to the specific bills I introduced this year dealing with the Fort Hood attack, no floor or committee action has yet been taken, but the text of the bills are under consideration for inclusion in this year’s Defense Authorization Act.

The Fort Hood Families Benefits Protection Act, HR 4791 in the House and S 2807 by Senator John Cornyn (R-TX) in the Senate, would award both military and civilian casualties of the Fort Hood attack the same status as that awarded unilaterally by the Department of Defense to the casualties of the Pentagon attack on September 11, 2001. All casualties would be deemed eligible for the Purple Heart or the DOD civilian award equivalent. Secretary of Defense Robert Gates has also been asked to make that determination unilaterally as did former Secretary Donald Rumsfeld in 2001.

The Military Whistleblower Protection Enhancement Act, HR 4267, protects service members from politically-correct disciplinary action for reporting or taking protective steps against radical Islamic threats.

There is a new Al-Qaeda attack scheme against America that has emerged since 2001, that must be recognized by the Departments of Defense and Homeland Security.

“Lone wolves” are being actively recruited by Al-Awlaki and his like over the internet, and encouraged to attack alone if necessary. The attackers may be dysfunctional individuals or even mentally unbalanced, but that makes no difference. The results of the attack are all that matter to Al-Qaeda. Major Hasan, the underwear bomber Umar Farouk Abdulmutallab, Colleen Rose and Jamie Paulin-Ramirez – the American women implicated in the plot to kill a Swedish cartoonist for drawing Mohammed – all are concrete examples of this new Al-Qaeda attack strategy.

It is a strategy that must be recognized, trained for, and guarded against by our Armed Forces and law enforcement agencies. Refusing to acknowledge reality is not the way to make that happen.

Ellesmere Port mother’s anger after daughter told trip to mosque is ‘compulsory’

MOTHER is keeping her daughter off school after refusing to give her permission to take part in a trip to a Liverpool mosque.
Michelle Davis, of Bodiam Court, Ellesmere Port, claims she was left with no choice but to keep 14-year-old daughter Amy Owen at home after Ellesmere Port Catholic High School’s headteacher Peter Lee tried to encourage the pupil into participating.
Miss Davies said: “I objected to Amy being made to dress like a Muslim girl, the original letter from the school gave a dress code for the visit, including long skirts, leggings or tights and covering up her head.
“She's been brought up in the Catholic faith and religion. Amy is not a Muslim and shouldn’t be told to dress like one.”
Miss Davies handed in a letter setting out reasons why she wouldn't be attending and the school asked if it was a problem with payment.
She said: “I asked them not to patronise me, it's £3 to cover the cost of the bus.”
Despite requesting that any further communication about the proposed Year 9 trip, part of the students’ religious education class, be conducted strictly between her and Mr Lee, Miss Davies was upset to hear that Amy had been pulled out of her lessons and told the mosque excursion was ‘compulsory’.
Miss Davies, who knows a number of other parents who have refused permission, also received a letter from Mr Lee, further insisting that Amy attend.
She said: “At the end of the letter, underlined, it says: ‘I must require your child to participate in this trip’.
“This is an infringement of her human rights.”
In a written statement, Mr Lee refused to comment on the compulsory nature of the trip,


Miss Davies added: “I'm all for her being educated in all areas of religion but she's not Muslim and she shouldn't have to dress like one.


“I can guarantee that if there were ten Muslim girls coming to our school it would adhere to what they wanted, because that's their faith, their religion, their dress code.”

The other is Harrison Eze, who have been remanded by an Abuja Magistrate‘s court on Wednesday, in prison custody for alleged forceful carnal knowledge of a minor.

The prosecutor, Sergeant Ambi Ayuba, told the court that the accused, a 21-year-old man, committed the offence on April 6, at about midnight in a bush. Ayuba said the offence contravened section 275 of the penal code.

According to the prosecutor, the accused accosted the minor while she was returning from an errand and forcefully had sex with her without her consent.

But the Former Zamfara governor Ahmed Sani who had taken a 13-year-old Egyptian girl as a fourth wife and paid $100,000 (about N15 million) to her family as bride price is walking free with swagger in the National Assembly as “Honourable Senator” of the Federal Republic.

The wedding took place at the Abuja National Mosque three weeks ago and was witnessed by the girl’s family which was flown to Abuja for the ceremony.

It was learned that Sani divorced one of his four wives in order to be able to marry this one. He had been married and divorced many times in order to marry younger women. He is using his wealth to oppress the society. He continues to abuse the girls.

According to Leadership, the wedding could only take place in Abuja and not Egypt because the authorities in the North African country could not sanction it. Their laws, we were informed, do not permit such unwholesome unions.

Even more alarming was the information that followed from other sources that Sani, who is now a senator had to divorce another young girl who has borne one child for him and is about the same age as her Egyptian counterpart.

The divorce was necessary in order not to exceed the decreed number of four wives for Muslim men.

Eze denied the allegation when the one-count charge of procuration of a minor was read to him. Counsel to the accused, Mr. Chiemeka Okereke, urged the court to admit his client to bail. The prosecutor objected to the application on the grounds that the police had not concluded investigation on the matter.

He said the hospital where the minor was treated after the forceful sex had not issued a medical report on her condition. The magistrate, Mrs Njideka Duru, upheld the objection of the prosecution and asked the defence lawyer to formally apply for bail for the accused.

Duru adjourned the case to April 16, to rule on the bail application.

Meanwhile a group, Women Empowerment and Legal Aid, has urged the Federal Government to arrest and prosecute a former Governor of Zamfara State and a serving Senator, Ahmed Sani, for child trafficking without further delay.

WELA in a statement by its Chairperson, Mrs. Funmi Falana, said that the action was illegal and reminded Sani that marriage to under age girls violated all known laws, especially the Child’s Rights Act which is an existing law in Nigeria.

It further decried Sani’s bid to marry the Egyptian girl, saying that the senator ought to know that the act of child marriage was abhorred in all civilised societies.

Bloggers, Lies and the Videotape

What motivates small petty men is beyond me -- perhaps their inadequacies, but enough is enough.

The "Baron" (ahem) over at Gates of Vienna is spreading a vicious lie about me, when he knows in fact that it is not true.

Snake. He once has the audacity to call me a spy for Charles Johnson (yes, you read that right) in an email thread that included a great many of my colleagues. Why? No clue who he was covering for, but it showed him for what he was. I didn't post on it or discuss it subsequently, because it gives our enemies grist for the mill, and our group is too small as it is. But he has gone public with this latest gossipy lie, and I must address it. Attack me? Fine -- I am used to it. Attack my motives? That's a whole other story, Count Dracula.

One of the "Baron's" sub-bloggers, "Vlad," ripped off some videos of our FDI event. He didn't ask, but I never said a word. Vlad is always cribbing shiz. It's what he does. This time he ripped off someone else's stuff of my event.

The "Baron" (ahem) posts that:

The videos remained online until a few days ago, when someone — presumably the organizers of the event or the videographer — complained to Vimeo that their copyright on the Col. West videos had been violated. Vimeo responded by taking down Vlad’s entire channel — eliminating many other useful and important videos along with those of Col. West.

I am the organizer of the historic FDI event at CPAC. Spencer and I put that together on our own dime and took a great deal of heat for that conference. When Vlad ripped off all the videos from Pamela Hall and edited out my intro to Allen West, I said nothing. The videos were up for months and received hundreds of thousands of views -- I did write to Vlad and ask him to insert my and Spencer's names. I mean, really. Vlad wrote to a number of folks last night, and I responded plainly and matter-of-factly:

Vlad, I have always supported and promoted your work so your insults and innuendo are out of line. I have never denied anyone any access to my work. Ever. Professional courtesies should be extended. Work should be respected.

 

I  had nothing to do your removal and yet you will never link my or Robert's work again? That says a lot about you and the spirit to which you speak. What is your motivation jump to such an aggressive and belligerent act?

 

You took Pamela Hall's work -- without permission. And might I add, we work like dogs. We have no crews, no funding, no pimply faced interns helping us. Pamela Hall  is everywhere, she covers everything meticulously, small  gatherings, large protests, left, right all of it. I see her everywhere. I have seen her put herself in harms way to get a story media wasn't covering. You have no right to talk to her like that.

 

It is unreasonable that people who go out and do the grunt work, the hard work, expect to get credit and attribution for their work? That would be communism. I am an individualist and take great pride in my work. I have no problem sharing it as long as proper credit and attribution is made. That is how media works -- we are not reinventing the wheel here.

 

You can paint it with any brush you like. You took her work. It ain't right. You owe her an apology. Period.

 

You are in no position to declare that my "interests are not of the cause." You haven't a clue.  But you putting up a video defaming me on youtube shows what your interests are. Good luck with that, V.

The videos were Pamela Hall's (of the excellent blog, Vigilant Squirrel Brigade), and she reported copyright violation. Let me say, Hall is one of the hardest working bloggers I know. She covers everything -- rain, sleet, snow. She is an unsung hero of this movement. The video Vlad is crying about  is up at Pamela Hall's channel. View it here.

She wrote to Vlad after he ripped off the vids, and was repeatedly ignored. The "Baron" (ahem) knows this. Vlad obviously showed him all of last night's emails as it was a fierce exchange an it prompted his fallacious post accusing.  Pamela Hall responded to Vlad's attacks in the email to the group:

Yes,  I want you to remove the edited version of my video that I did not give you permission  to edit nor to re-post on your site. Why not do what everyone else does by respecting the copyright. 

You link people to the site that owns the video.  (And we get plenty of hits, thank you.)
If you really wanted people to see the video you would refer them to  my channel

However, it would seem you care more about having my video appear to be your video (on your channel).
Try linking them to my channel. (That's proper form.)
Where they can also be linked to buy the DVD. (hello)

So when you remove it, by all means don't tell anyone that it was  because of a copyright violation.
Or that someone else made the video and that it's posted on the channel that owns it.
And yes, re watermarking my videos, I have been advised to do this.
But, a watermark still doesn't mean you can edit and re-post another persons work.

The thing is -- there is no money in this biz. We work hard. Damn hard. Credit and attribution is the currency in which we trade. This smear campaign by carpetbaggers is rich. Really rich.

BTW, I understand that Hall never complained to Vimeo, just YouTube, so it must have been that a lot of other folks whom Vlad ripped off had complained, too. Getting a video taken down is one thing; getting your channel removed means you are a repeat offender (many complaints).

Pamela Hall wrote to Vlad:

You talk of your videos as though you would expect to get credit for them.
How would you feel if I took your videos, edited them and posted them on my site?
Possibly you would want credit for your work (as do I) and possibly you would want people linking to your site (not a site that took your video without permission).
Perhaps you are new to the video world and it's legal protocol, but now that you do know about copyright law, I hope you will respond appropriately.

That doesn't give you permission to re-post and edit my video.
Protocol ( and legally) you are required to link people to MY video.

Please remove the post you have on YouTube and , as you should have originally,
send them to our channel (or don't). But, the issue here has to do with copyright violation.

The only selfish act I am witness to at this point was you taking 'ownership' of my property.

WHICH BY COPYRIGHT LAW was supposed to go to our site, not yours.  All you had to do was recommend that people watch the video.

Be sure to explain on You Tube that it was copyright violation and that you didn't want to send people  to watch the video, you wanted to take credit for it.

BTW: I had NOTHING to do with Vimeo.
Your complaints regarding VIMEO has nothing to do with me or YouTube.
All I saw in your email is that Vimeo says  that you can't post video you
find on the web.

And NOW, because Costin posted that VIMEO told them my name verifies that VLAD etc  must be  lying. Even though VLAD claims that VIMEO wouldn't tell him who file the complaint.
That has to be a LIE.

This is a good thing  that Costin was sent my NAME identifying me as the party that
filed the complaint...yesterday. That means VLAD is lying.

Unabridged Text of Pamela Geller's Speech at Pro-Israel Rally Against Obama's Anti-Israel Policies

First of all, I want to thank my Yid Army for showing up. I love my Yid Army! Thank you so much for coming out in the rain. And thank you, Beth, for putting this together. I think it’s appropriate that it’s raining. There’s a reason why it’s raining.  For the first time in American history, we have an anti-Israel president. His premise is false. The narrative is false. The Islamization of the narrative must stop. (Cheers) It must stop with the truth. And truth is the new hate speech. (Cheers)

I ask you, what is a settler? I reject that term. I don’t want anyone ever to use it again. It’s a Jew living in the Jewish homeland. There are no settlers in Israel. What is the West Bank? It is not the West Bank. It is Judea – Jew-dea – and Samaria. There is no occupation except the Muslim occupation of Israel. (Cheers)

I ask you also: where does history start? Where should we start history? Who decides? Should it start 5,768 years ago, with the Jewish people? Should it start 1,400 years ago with Muhammad, when he beheaded an entire tribe of Jews of Medina, the Qurayzah tribe? Who decides? The new narrative is that Zionism is racism. So how far away is that from Judaism is racism? We are five to ten years away from Europe – Europe that President Obama wants so desperately to emulate. You ask your brethren in the new Europe. You ask them what it’s like if they wear a kippah in parts of Belgium, and Copenhagen, London, Paris. That’s where we’re going. How dare President Obama jab his finger in the chest of Netanyahu while bowing to the Muslim King of Saudi Arabia! (Cheers)

I implore you to reject Jewish leadership that has failed the Jewish people in Israel. I tell you that six million Jews are crying and calling out from their graves. And you know what they’re saying? They’re saying, Stop fetishizing us. Stop building memorials to us. What you should be doing is saving the six million in Israel, when the next Holocaust is being planned. (Cheers)

You hold your elected officials, you hold them to account. People say, What can I do? You can do a lot of things. You get involved in local elections. I tell you, we reject Jewish leadership. Why didn’t Hoenlein tell the Jewish day schools to be here? Why aren’t the Jewish groups here? Are we going to replicate our failure during World War II when we backed Steven Wise and not Peter Bergson? You think you are safe here in America. Don't you think the Jews in Poland, who lived there for a thousand years and had a rich history there, felt safe? It was the Israel of Europe, and yet millions were wiped out in only a couple of years. You are not safe.

Judge Rules "Bloggers are not Journalists"

A New Jersey court has ruled that bloggers are not journalists (now they've taken to ruling this)! Actually the tool of a judge is right. For the most part, journalists today act as shills for the fascist Democrat party. They cover-up, obfuscate and propagandize, that's what they do.

Bloggers, OTOH, are doing the heavy lifting. Who breaks the stories today? Bloggers. Take Atlas, for example. I broke the explosive story of tens of thousands of dollars of Obama contributions from a Hamas controlled "refugee" camp in Gaza. Did media pursue it? Not a chance. Obama's Anonymous Foreign Donors and Other Bizarre Illegal Activity -- Atlas! Obama and Odinga? Atlas! 'Obama's s Organizing for America recruiting in the public schools? Atlas! Anti-semitism and vile Jew hatred on Obama's website? Atlas! ACORN throwing out Republican voter registrations? Atlas! Not to mention the numerous revelations I broke on the Rifqa Bary story (here and here and here and here)

And that's just off the top of my head. The corruption is so deep in all branches of the US government, it is jawdropping. If I am not a journalist, he is not a judge .....

The Garden State has a shield law for journalists, meaning the government cannot force reporters or opinion writers to reveal their sources. There is nothing more vigorously defended among journalists than the right to keep secret one’s anonymous sources in service of “the public’s right to know.” The decades-long secret identity of “Deep Throat” in The Washington Post’s Watergate exposés is the standard of that journalistic principle. (And there is going to be reason to snicker at that example later. Be patient.)

But a New Jersey state appellate court last weekruled that a woman named Shellee Hale is not a“real” journalist, but just a blogger, so is not protected by the state’s shield law.

Folks – this is the United States Capitol Building – historic and symbolic – adorned atop by the Statue of Freedom. Not only has the building become a mosque every Friday, but check out all the dhimmi’s in attendance as if they were in a Muslim country.

SIOA Trademark Sharia Enforcement

It is everywhere, folks, in every aspect of our lives from the big stuff (Major Hasan cover-up) to the minutia (trademark registration).

Take a look at this. Robert and I registered the name Stop Islamization of America for trademark. It was refused -- go to this link, read the whole thing. It reads like a page out of Alice in Taqiyaland. The "news" stories they cite would be laughable if it weren't so lethal.

The real question is - how can you stop something that has already happened and continues apace.

U.S. TRADEMARK APPLICATION NO. 77940881 - STOP THE ISLAMIZATION OF AMERICA

  The applied-for mark refers to Muslims in a disparaging manner because by definition it implies that conversion or conformity to Islam is something that needs to be stopped or caused to cease.  See attached dictionary definition.    The proposed mark further disparages Muslims because, taking into account the nature of the services (“providing information regarding understanding and preventing terrorism”), it implies that Islam is associated with violence and threats.  See attached dictionary definition.  The trademark examining attorney refers to the excerpted articles from the LEXISNEXIS® computerized database referencing how many Muslims view terrorists as illegitimate adherents of Islam.  See attachments.  Therefore, the suggestion that Islam equates terrorism would be disparaging to a substantial group of Muslims.  

Accordingly, the applied-for mark is refused under Section 2(a) because it consists of matter which may disparage or bring into contempt or disrepute Muslims and the Islamic religion.

  Although applicant’s mark has been refused registration, applicant may respond to the refusal by submitting evidence and arguments in support of registration.

Bolton: "Folding our nuclear umbrella"

We the sheeple are waiting on O's catastrophe. You can put any happy face you want on such lethal nonsense, but at the end of the day, it empowers our enemies and weakens us -- to what end?

Bad as Obama policies are for America, they are equally dangerous for friends who have relied for decades on the U.S. nuclear umbrella as a foundation of their own national security strategies. As Washington's capabilities decline and as it narrows the circumstances when it will use nuclear weapons, allies are asking hard questions about whether the U.S. nuclear umbrella will continue to provide the protection it has previously.

Many allies see clearly that our mutual global adversaries have no intention of reducing their own nuclear programs in imitation of Mr. Obama. Our friends accordingly feel increasingly insecure. If Washington will not continue to hold the nuclear umbrella that has provided strategic stability for so long, other countries will begin making divergent decisions about how to protect themselves, including, for some, the possibility of seeking their own nuclear weapons.

Within the administration, there are strong advocates for America pledging "no first use" of nuclear weapons. Although the nuclear posture review "only" expanded "negative security assurances" somewhat, there is little doubt that "no first use" is alive and well in internal administration councils. These self-imposed constraints on the use of nuclear weapons reinforce the allies' concern that Mr. Obama has forgotten the central Cold War lesson about the U.S. nuclear deterrent. There was never any doubt that a Soviet attack through the Fulda Gap into Western Europe would have swept through NATO forces, possibly all the way to the English Channel. Thus, the threat of U.S. nuclear retaliation against such an attack - an unambiguous case of a U.S. first use of nuclear weapons - was precisely what was needed to keep Soviet forces on their side of the Iron Curtain.

The risks come not only from the Obama administration's nuclear policies. By canceling the Polish and Czech missile defense sites, the president signaled that he has less than full faith in the concept of a U.S. national missile defense capability. Moreover, and equally important, Russia and others quickly interpreted the decision not to construct the Eastern European facilities as Washington backing down in response to Russian threats. At a minimum, Mr. Obama showed that he was prepared to use U.S. missile defense as a bargaining chip, exactly the misguided policy option President Reagan consistently and emphatically rejected. If America's homeland remains vulnerable, its willingness to risk confrontation with an opponent will be substantially reduced. In such circumstances, U.S. allies could not count on the threat of nuclear retaliation by Washington in the event of aggression, as they could in the Cold War.

Accordingly, Europeans should be very worried that they are increasingly on their own to face the re-emerging threat of Russian belligerence. Because the New START treaty does not limit tactical nuclear weapons, Europe, simply because of geographic proximity, is most vulnerable to Russia's advantage in that category. It is thus highly ironic that some NATO countries have recently called for removing the last U.S. tactical nuclear weapons from Europe, which will simply enhance Russia's existing lead. Moreover, because the conflict in Afghanistan has opened new fissures in NATO, Europe must ponder whether the aging alliance can renew its original focus on defending against Moscow.

Perception vs. Reality

How brilliantly and concretely this illustrates the asshattery and dhimmitude of our self imposed sharia enforcement. Do not insult Islam! Hence the twists, turns, delusions, denials, somersaults ..... in explaining the Afghan situation. It's the jihad, stupid.

US generals given baffling PowerPoint presentation to try to explain Afghanistan mess

Baffling: The PowerPoint slide shown to US commanders shows security, economic and political conditions in Afghanistan. The dark blue arrows represent Afghan National Security Forces with the enemy in red. Other arrows highlight corruption, tribal favouritism and drug trafficking. Its coloured charts, graphs and bullet-points are supposed to make the most incomprehensible data crystal clear.

But even the sharpest military minds in American were left baffled by this PowerPoint slide, a mind-boggling attempt to explain the situation in Afghanistan. 'When we understand that slide, we'll have won the war,' General Stanley McChrystal, the US and NATO force commander, remarked wryly when confronted by the sprawling spaghetti diagram in a briefing.

On the other hand

Here's Major Hasam's power point presentation. Major Hasan was the jihadi who committed the biggest attack on a US military base on American soil in US history. Major Hasan created this powerpoint presentation and presented it on grand rounds to announce his intention.

In the greatest cover-up of an enemy attack on American soil, the Pentagon (in a manner mirroring the above Afghanistan power point presentation) never spoke of Islam or jihad in its investigation or series of recommendations.

If you close your eyes and listen to Zarein Ahmedzay, the jihadist convicted Friday for his role in unleashing a bomb in the New York City subway system on the anniversary of the 9/11 Islamic jihad attacks on America, you would here disturbing echoes of the policy of Barack Obama and his dhimmi administration: "I strongly urge the American people to stop supporting the war against Islam. And this will be in their own interest. ... The real enemy of this country are the ones destroying the country from within ... I believe it's a special group, Zionist Jews, who want a permanent shadow government." Obama hasn't spoken about "Zionist Jews," but the underlying sentiments are similar.

Ahmedzay's narrative reflects Obama's policy on Islamic jihad. He urges America to stop defending herself against the global jihad. Like Obama and his silly Secretary of Defense Robert Gates, Obama suggests that fighting jihad will only...create jihad. And as for all the jihadi attacks before Iraq and Afghanistan operations, well...that's irrelevant, an inconvenient truth. The left never lets logic and evidence get in the way of its anti-American narrative.

The day this New York subway jihad bomb plot was foiled, Obama was in New York addressing the United Nations. His speech was about the greatest threat facing mankind today: global warming. I kid you not. He said on that occasion, "We are determined to act. And we will meet our responsibility to future generations." He said that a failure to address the threat could lead to an "irreversible catastrophe." Time, he said, is "running out," but "we can reverse" the problem. "If things go business-as-usual, we will not live; we will die," he said. "Our country will not exist." He told us that it wouldn't be easy, but "I am here today to say that difficulty is no excuse for complacency. Unease is no excuse for inaction."

All that would have been true if he had been referring to the jihad against the United States. But his only response to that is to give the jihadis whatever they want.

Obama's strategy in dealing with Islam is summed up by a single word that is the very definition of Islam -- submission. His cover-up of the Islamic motivation and other aspects of the Fort Hood jihad massacre, the largest attack on a military base on American history, will go down in history as the most blatant act of subversion ever committed by a president of the United States.

Diplomat disciplined over Pope memo is named The Telegraph

The diplomat who has been disciplined over a Foreign Office memo mocking the Pope was accused last night of being “clueless” about the Catholic faith.

Anjoum Noorani, 31, was the leader of the Papal Visit Team which drew up a document suggesting the Pope should launch his own range of “Benedict” condoms, open an abortion clinic and stay in a council flat in Bradford.

Mr Noorani, whose identity has until now remained secret, was moved to “other duties” after he gave authorisation for the memo to be sent to Downing Street and three Whitehall departments.

The memo, which was leaked to The Sunday Telegraph, threatens to overshadow the Pope’s entire four-day visit in September after it prompted fury in the Vatican and among Catholics in Britain.

Senior members of the church have described Mr Noorani and his team as having “not the slightest understanding of Catholicism”. None of the four-strong group is thought to be a practising Catholic.

The memo, which also called for the Pope to bless a homosexual marriage, was emailed around Whitehall by Steven Mulvain, a 23-year-old Oxford graduate who describes his sexual orientation on a social networking website as “gay”.

He didn't recommend the Islamic way to handle Gay? Hang 'em high.

Mr Mulvain has not been disciplined for his role in the fiasco.

Mr Noorani, who, like Mr Mulvain, is a graduate of Balliol College, Oxford, chaired the “brainstorm” session which led to the “Ideal Visit” memo, which also proposed that the Pope should sing a duet with the Queen and sponsor a network of Aids clinics.

He worked as press secretary at the British Embassy in Russia between 2002 and 2007, where he dealt with all Russian media inquiries about Britain’s response to the murder of the former KGB agent Alexander Litvinenko. He was unavailable for comment last night and his mother, who lives in Windsor, said she “can’t say anything”.

Although the Vatican is now trying to draw a line under the memo fiasco, Papal aides believe the Government’s choice of non-Catholic staff typifies the “lack of respect” being shown towards the first ever state visit by a Pontiff.

One source said: “The most striking thing about the Foreign Office team has been how ineffectual they are. They have been disengaged and, frankly, clueless.

“I have never had the impression that any members of the team were informed or even sensitive to the Catholic Church or Catholicism generally.”

One senior source at the Catholic Church in England and Wales said: “This does beg the question of how seriously this visit is being taken by the Government.

“All of our dealings with this Foreign Office team have suggested they don’t have any understanding of Catholicism and that’s how this issue seems to have come about.

“Why did they even have this brainstorming session in the first place? The Pope’s itinerary was decided a long time ago, so it’s not as if there was much room for extra events to be laid on.”

William Hague, the shadow foreign secretary, said: “This whole episode was utterly unacceptable.

“A Conservative-run Foreign and Commonwealth Office would put a stop to such pointless time-wasting and insulting activities. Visits by international leaders should be handled with the respect they deserve and that we would expect to be extended to us.”

The Foreign Office declined to comment on the religious beliefs of the members of the Papal Visit Team.

Comedy Central Attacks! Israel Villainized After Submission to Islam

The Comedy Central website has created an anti-semitically named game there called "I.S.R.A.E.L. Attacks," in which a murderous robot called Israel is called upon to wipe out every cartoon character on the show.

While the creators of South Park are free speech warriors, their network is hard at work at the stealth jihad. Here is the direct link to the game. Watch the little movie before the game starts -- the evil mastermind wants all the "drawn together" characters killed, and Israel is going to it.

Maybe Comedy Central isn't actually as passive in their pro-Islam behavior as first thought, and their attitude towards mohammad is not actually the disease but just a symptom.

The criminal proceedings against Geert Wilders will continue in October of this year.‬

MP Geert Wilders will go on trial for inciting hatred and discrimination in October, not June as first thought, the Volkskrant reports on Tuesday.

Amsterdam court said it had been forced to make the change because of scheduling problems. The court says it needs five days to hear evidence in the case.

The MP faces five charges religious insult and anti-Muslim incitement. In January, the public prosecution department extended the prosecution case to include inciting hatred of Muslims, Moroccans and non-Western immigrants.

The PVV wanted to be part of the next cabinet, Wilders said: 'Without the PVV in government, the Netherlands will further slide into the swamp of politically-correct inaction.'

New York Mayor Michael Bloomberg has on his New York City Human Rights Commission the CAIR-New York President Omar Mohammedi. Mohammedi was appointed to the Commission in October of 2002.  

Terror lawyer Mohammedi represents a number of organizations that are the defendants in a 9/11 lawsuit for the murder of 3000 innocent people. One of the organizations he is the lawyer for is the World Assembly for Muslim Youth (WAMY), a Saudi-based group with offices around the globe that publishes incendiary materials against Jews and openly supports Hamas and violent jihad.

Omar Mohammedi has also serves as attorney for the Flying Imams, the six imams who were removed from a US Airways flight after passengers complained that they were acting suspiciously. Mohammedi filed a lawsuit on their behalf for unspecified damages, citing "fear, depression, mental pain and financial injury" on the part of the imams.^[17] He also initially filed suit against the passengers who complained, which would have had a chilling effect on anyone reporting suspicious behavior by Muslims in airports -- although that part of the suit was dropped after Republicans in Congress passed legislation to protect the passengers.

A settlement was reached in the “Flying Imams” federal lawsuit that was filed Omar by six Muslim imams who claimed they were falsely arrested on a US Airways jet in the Twin Cities three years ago. (here)

FAITHFREEDOM: Thank you for accepting to do this interview for Faithfreedom International. It is an honor to have you with us. 

You are running for United States Congress from the 5th Congressional District of the state of Tennessee. Obviously, as a conservative you are concerned about the deficit, the takeover of industry by the government, health care and other issues that concern every patriotic American. However, you have said that stopping the Islamization of America is your main goal. I know only of one politician with a similar platform: Geert Wilders, the founder of Freedom Party in Holland. Why do you think Islamization of America should be the primary concern of Americans? What dangers are you sensing that Islam poses to America?

VIJAY KUMAR: Thank for the opportunity to be with Faith Freedom. It is indeed an honor for me. Yes, I am very interested in and concerned about the economy, the takeover of industry by the government, state-regulated healthcare, and the right to life. My website at www.kumarforcongress.com/issues contains my position on those and other important issues facing the American people.

The reason I believe that the Islamization of America should be the primary concern of Americans is that Islamic imperialism poses an existential threat to the United States, and, really, to all mankind.

America was conceived as a free constitutional republic that is of the people, by the people, and for the people. Islam was conceived as a totalitarian theocracy that is of Islam, by Islam, and for Islam. The Quran is the antithesis of the United States Constitution. They are polar opposites. They are diametrically opposed. I don’t say that as some Hegelian abstraction: I mean that these two documents are ideological opposites of each other in their most basic purposes and goals.

The purpose of our Constitution is to secure and guarantee to all people the greatest possible freedom. The purpose of Islam is for all people to submit to Islam, and only Islam—not just spiritually, but politically and secularly, in every aspect of law and life.

These two purposes could not possibly be in greater opposition.

Our constitutional republic is built upon the foundation of separation of church and state, with a representative form of government that derives all of its power from the will of the people, framed by a Constitution that is the supreme law of the land.

Islam is built on a foundation of church and state being one, an inseparable autocratic form of government that derives all of its power solely from the will of Allah, framed exclusively by Islamic law—which Islam holds to be divine, supreme, and immutable.

So the danger that Islam poses to America is that Islam, at its core, is ideologically at war with our Constitution. It is a declared war against everything our Constitution stands for. This is a war of polarized ideologies, and they are irreconcilable.

Every conflict we have with Muslims and Islamic nations everywhere around the world arises from that one very simple fact. All other “explanations” are wrong, and so lead to no solutions, only endless turmoil.

The idea that somehow the United States antagonized the current conflicts with Islamic nations and Muslim terrorists is specious. The very existence of our Constitution is what antagonizes Islam. It stands in stark opposition to Islam’s worldwide goal of domination over all mankind. We could be doing absolutely nothing anywhere in the world, and still would be an object of Islam’s contempt and aggression for the sole reason that we do not submit ourselves to Islamic law, and we further have the gall to proclaim in our Constitution that people have the right to choose a religion other than Islam—or no religion at all.

One cannot serve two masters. One cannot to be loyal to the United States Constitution and to the Quran at the same time.

Dear City councilors,

Vote NO to the Dr. Parvez Ahmed nomination for the Jacksonville Human Rights Commission

Two new federal civil complaints were filed in the federal district court for the District of Columbia on January 6, 2010, and served on January 13, 2010 naming Dr. Parvez Ahmed. Parvez Ahmed was the chairman of the board of CAIR National during the relevant time period.

Complaint: The lawsuits allege that Morris Days, the “Resident Attorney” and “Manager for Civil Rights” at the now defunct CAIR MD/VA chapter in Herndon, Virginia, was in fact not an attorney and that he failed to provide legal services for clients who came to CAIR for legal representation. CAIR knew of this fraud and purposefully conspired with Days to keep the CAIR clients from discovering that their legal matters were being mishandled or not handled at all. According to the complaints, CAIR knew or should have known that Days was not a lawyer when it hired him. But, like many criminal organizations, things got worse when CAIR officials were confronted with clear evidence of Days' fraudulent conduct. Rather than come clean and attempt to rectify past wrongs, CAIR conspired with Days to conceal and further the fraud.

To this end, CAIR officials purposefully concealed the truth about Days from their clients, law enforcement, the Virginia and D.C. State bar associations, and the media. When CAIR did get irate calls from clients about Days’ failure to provide competent legal services, CAIR fraudulently deceived their clients about Days’ relationship to CAIR, suggesting he was never actually employed by CAIR, and even concealed the fact that CAIR had fired him once some of the victims began threatening to sue. This type of activity is exactly what the Human Rights Commission may review in the future. It would be a travesty of what the Human Rights Commission represents and a direct reflection on the judgment of each Jacksonville City Commissioner if Parvez Ahmed is approved for this post. Don’t forget CAIR under Parvez Ahmed was also listed as an Un-Indicted Co conspirator in the 2007 Holy Land Foundation Terrorist Funding Trial Case.

Until this ongoing legal issue naming Dr. Parvez Ahmed is resolved – it is prudent for the City Commission to seek another candidate for the Human Rights Commission post. With all this history on Ahmed the questions comes up Why Parvez Ahmed, Why Now, and why did certain City Commissioners leave their common sense at the door in the face of such easily verifiable evidence pushing through this appointment.

Obama NSA Adviser's Vile Anti-Semitic Jokes To DC Audience

I have long documented Obama's weakness and partiality to antisemitism. His campaign website and its successor, the recruiting arm OFA, is rife with it. Disgustingly so. Just go here and scroll and scroll: Obama's Website: Hub for hate, terror and antisemitism. So it comes as no surprise that this NSA adviser is cracking jokes that echo back to back slapping, goose stepping Nazis imbibing cocktails at Oskar Schindler's dinner parties.

The joke this nazi told was an old joke. I heard it years ago -- adding the Jewish hate was the new twist on an old joke.

He is that comfortable with it. It's that much a part of the atmosphere.

We are in hell, folks. 

Obama's National Security Adviser Jones: Jews Are Greedy Merchants (Hat tip Lid)

As the National Security Adviser, General James Jones is not known as a friend of the Jewish State. It was Jones who put together the team of Brent Scowcroft and Zbigniew Brzezinski to meet with the President and advise him to impose a solution on Israel.

Earlier this week we may have gotten some insight into why Jones is not a fan of the Jewish Homeland. He was giving the key note speech at a Washington Institute For Near East Policy and started it out with a "Joke" that borders on anti-Semitic, teaching the crowd that Jews are just greedy merchants in the same vein as Shakespeare's Shylock:

I'd like to begin with a story that I think is true, a Taliban militant gets lost and is wandering around the desert looking for water. He finally arrives at a store run by a Jew and asks for water. The Jewish vendor tells him he doesn’t have any water but can gladly sell him a tie. The Taliban, the jokes goes on, begins to curse and yell at the Jewish storeowner. The Jew, unmoved, offers the rude militant an idea: Beyond the hill, there is a restaurant; they can sell you water. The Taliban keeps cursing and finally leaves toward the hill. An hour later he’s back at the tie store. He walks in and tells the merchant: “Your brother tells me I need a tie to get into the restaurant.”

According to the Jewish Forward

After the speech, two participants suggested, in private conversations with the Forward, that Jones’ joke might have been inappropriate. After all, making jokes about greedy Jewish merchants can be seen at times as insensitive.


A prominent think-tank source who attended the event said the joke was “wrong in so many levels” and that it “demonstrated a lack of sensitivity.” The source also asked: “Can you imagine him telling a black joke at an event of African Americans?”

Was the Joke Anti-Semitic? Well, the White House must have thought so. The White House transcriptvideo of the event posted on the Washington Institute Web site started right after the Joke, you can even hear the end of the laughter.

At the very least it was an idiotic time and place to make the joke. Many of the attendees of The Washington Institute dinner were in fact Jewish. And the Jewish community is very nervous about the recent anti-Israel leanings of the Obama administration.

Its interesting that the same President that sees racism in the legitimate actions of the Cambridge Police and the State of Arizona, hides the possible anti-Semitic prose of its National Security Adviser.

Former governor Rod Blagojevich's defense team asked Thursday to issue a trial subpoena to the President of the United States of America.

The motion, intended to be heavily redacted, was improperly edited -- the full document was easily viewable if the text is copied and pasted to another document (an error first revealed on Capitol Fax)

1. Obama may have lied about conversations with convicted fraudster Tony Rezko

Blagojevich's lawyers allege that Rezko admitted breaking the law by contributing "a large sum of cash" to a public official. Blagojevich's attorneys say that public official is Obama. Obama said that Rezko never relayed a request from a lobbyist to hold a fundraiser in favor of favorable legislative action. But the point may be moot: regardless of Obama talking/not talking to Rezko, Blagojevich's attorneys say that Obama refused the request regardless.

Redacted portion: However, the defense has a good faith belief that Mr. Rezko, President Obama’s former friend, fund-raiser, and neighbor told the FBI and the United States Attorneys a different story about President Obama. In a recent in camera proceeding, the government tendered a three paragraph letter indicating that Rezko “has stated in interviews with the government that he engaged in election law violations by personally contributing a large sum of cash to the campaign of a public official who is not Rod Blagojevich. … Further, the public official denies being aware of cash contributions to his campaign by Rezko or others and denies having
conversations with Rezko related to cash contributions. … Rezko has also stated in interviews with the government that he believed he transmitted a quid pro quo offer from a lobbyist to the public official, whereby the lobbyist would hold a fundraiser for the official in exchange for favorable official action, but that the public official rejected the offer. In addition, Rezko has stated to the government that he and the public official had certain conversations about gaming legislation and administration, which the public official denies having had.

2. Obama may have overtly recommended Valerie Jarret for his Senate seat
Blagojevich's defense team basically alleges that Obama told a certain labor union official that he (Obama) would support Valerie Jarrett's candidacy for the Senate seat. Jarrett, referred to as "Senate Candidate B", is now a senior advisor to the president.

Redacted portion: Yet, despite President Obama stating that no representatives of his had any part of any deals, labor union president told the FBI and the United States Attorneys that he spoke to labor union official on November 3, 2008 who received a phone message from Obama that evening. After labor union official listened to the message labor union official told labor union president “I’m the one”. Labor union president took that to mean that labor union official was to be the one to deliver the message on behalf of Obama that Senate Candidate B was his pick. (Labor union president 302, February 2, 2009, p. 7).

Labor union official told the FBI and the United States Attorneys “Obama expressed his belief that [Senate Candidate B] would be a good Senator for the people of Illinois and would be a candidate who could win re-election. [Labor union official] advised Obama that [labor union official] would reach out to Governor Blagojevich and advocate for [Senate Candidate B] ... [Labor union official] called [labor union president] and told [labor union president] that Obama was aware that [labor union official] would be reaching out to Blagojevich.” (Labor union official 302, February 3, 2009 p. 3).

3. A supporter of President Obama may have offered quid pro quo on a Jarrett senate appointment
Redacted portion: Supporter of Presidential Candidate Obama is mentioned in a phone call on November 3, 2008, having offered “fundraising” in exchange for Senate Candidate B for senator (Blagojevich Home Phone Call # 149).

4. Obama maintained a list of good Senate candidates

John Harris told the FBI and the United States Attorneys that he spoke to President’s Chief of Staff on November 12, 2008. Harris took notes of the conversation and wrote that President’s Chief had previously worked as Blagojevich's press secretary. Obama agreed of Staff told Harris that Senate Candidate A was acceptable to Obama as a senate pick. (Harris handwritten notes, OOG1004463) President’s Chief of Staff told the FBI that “he could not say where but somewhere it was communicated to him that” Senate Candidate A was a suggested candidate viewed as one of the four “right” candidates “by the Obama transition team.”

5. Rahm Emanuel allegedly floated Cheryl Jackson's name for the Senate seat
Redacted portion: President’s Chief of Staff told the FBI that he had a conversation discussing the Senate seat with Obama on December 7, 2008 in Obama’s car. President’s Chief of Staff told the FBI “Obama expressed concern about Senate Candidate D being appointed as Senator.

[President’s Chief of Staff] suggested they might need an expanded list to possibly include names of African Americans that came out of the business world. [President’s Chief of Staff] thought he suggested Senate Candidate E who was the head of the Urban League and with President’s Chief of Staff’s suggestion.

6. Obama had a secret phone call with Blagojevich
Redacted portion: President-elect Obama also spoke to Governor Blagojevich on December 1, 2008 in Philadelphia. On Harris Cell Phone Call # 139, John Harris and Governor’s legal counsel discuss a conversation Blagojevich had with President-elect Obama. The government claims a conspiracy existed from October 22, 2008 continuing through December 9, 2008.6 That conversation is relevant to the defense of the government’s theory of an ongoing conspiracy. Only Rod Blagojevich and President Obama can testify to the contents of that conversation. The defense is allowed to present evidence that corroborates the defendant’s testimony.

FP: What was the motive of your campaign?

Geller: Jamie, this campaign was and is in defense of religious freedom. Our ad asks, “Fatwa on your head? Is your family or community threatening you? Leaving Islam? Got questions? Get answers! RefugefromIslam.com.” This is the first time anyone offered public help to people threatened under Islam’s death penalty for apostasy. America is the land of the free, and apostates must know they are free here. Safe here. Government and law enforcement should be on this. But they aren’t. So we are. It is time for free citizens to stand for freedom — or lose it.

Miami-Dade Transit’s kowtowing to CAIR, even though it ultimately reversed itself, shows how close we are to losing it.

FP: Didn’t CAIR run a bus ad campaign of its own?

Geller: Yes, Jamie. CAIR and other Muslim Brotherhood-linked groups ran campaigns on buses across the country last year, including Miami, inviting people to convert to Islam and claiming that Abraham, Moses and Jesus were Muslim prophets. It was important to counterbalance this offensive appropriation of the founding figures of Judaism and Christianity and outright deception with a healthy message.

FP: It’s amazing that defending freedom of religion would be controversial.

Geller: That’s right, Jamie. Freedom of religion is an unalienable right. Sharia law should hold no weight or legitimacy here. Apostates should be free in America to leave Islam without fear, and be who and whatever that they want to be.

But Miami-Dade Transit thought otherwise, and it took the threat of a lawsuit to keep them from submitting to Sharia. While they allowed the CAIR bus ads despite how offensive they were to Jews and Christians, they initially disallowed the SIOA ads. In December 2008, the Miami Herald ran a glowing piece on the CAIR bus ad campaign, which ran in Miami-Dade and Broward counties for eight weeks. No one took offense, despite the Islamic supremacist nature of the ads. No one breathed a word of protest.

So Muslims can run bus ads all across America inviting the clueless to convert to Islam, but we cannot make information available to Muslims who want to leave Islam. Still think this is a free country? Still think we enjoy the protection of the First Amendment on speech that offends the powerful? Think again: it didn’t start with Miami. At least three of the bus companies that ran CAIR’s dawah (invitation to Islam) bus ads turned down our ad.

FP: How did CAIR react when your ads were pulled?

Geller: As Miami-Dade Transit bowed and scraped, CAIR lied. CAIR-South Florida director Muhammed Malik claimed: “Islam guarantees freedom to and freedom from religion. . . . [We] reject as un-Islamic any extremist interpretation that sanctions the killing of any individual because she decided to ‘leave Islam.”

New Book Wrongly Blames Nazis for Muslim Hatred Of Israel Pamela Geller, Big Journalism

Read my latest over at Big Journalism. The book got the goods (the Mufti's radio addresses) but made all the wrong conclusions:

The latest attempt to excuse or minimize the evils committed in the name of Islam comes in a new book by University of Maryland professor Jeffrey Herf, Nazi Propaganda for the Arab World.  In an interview with the Telegraph, the author says:

The conflict between Israel and the Palestinians would have been over long ago were it not for the uncompromising, religiously inspired hatred of the Jews that was articulated and given assistance by Nazi propagandists and continued after the war by Islamists of various sorts.

This doesn’t even make any sense. If Muslim hatred of the Jews was “religiously inspired,” i.e., inspired by Islam, then why did it need to be “articulated” by the Nazis, who despised all religion? In reality, it is “articulated” in the Qur’an, which says that the Jews are accursed (2:89), are the Muslims’ worst enemies (5:82), and should be fought against (9:29). Muhammad says in a hadith that the end times won’t come until Muslims kill Jews wholesale, and when Jews hide behind trees, the trees will cry out, “O Muslim! There is a Jew hiding behind me – come and kill him!”

Muslims were not and are not inspired by Hitler and the Nazis. Hitler and the Nazis were inspired by Islam – just as modern-day Muslims hate Jews because the Qur’an and Islam tell them to. Islamic scholar Robert Spencer explains:

There is a strong native strain of anti-Semitism in Islam, which is rooted in the Qur’an. The Muslim holy book contains a great deal of material that forms the foundation for a hatred of Jews that has perdured throughout Islamic history. It is virulent and hard to eradicate. The Qur’an portrays the Jews as the craftiest, most persistent, and most implacable enemies of the Muslims — and there is no Islamic authority that has moved to mitigate the most destructive interpretations of all this. The Qur’anic material on the Jews remains the prism through which far too many Muslims see the Israeli-Palestinian conflict–and Jews in general–to this day.

The Mufti of Jerusalem, Hajj Amin al-Husseini, was the Muslim Hitler. He continually coaxed, urged, and demanded Jewish annihilation. And it was not that he got with the Nazi program: he preceded it. He mentored it. His role is irrefutable, and is documented in thousands of pages of documents released after the war.

The Mufti, whom his nephew Yasser Arafat called “our hero,” was famous for his fanatical Jew-hatred. During World War II, he lived in Berlin, where he met Hitler and traveled in top Nazi circles (he even stayed in Hitler’s bunker toward the end of the war). Among his close friends was Adolf Eichmann, who is sometimes described as the “architect” of the Holocaust.

CAIR's Honest Ibe Renounces Islam?

I never thought I would live to see this day. Look up in the sky, piglets are flying. (sarc off)

Fox ran an accurate profile of the Muslim convert who threatened the South Park cartoonists because they dared to put Muhammad in a bear costume (a vast improvement on Moe's looks, from what I understand). The young Muslim convert explained (as jihadists always do) that he is an adherent to pure Islam. 

Chesser the jihadi wrote on the Revolution Muslim site that Trey Parker and Matt Stone, the South Park cartoon's creators, "will probably end up" like Theo van Gogh, a Dutch filmmaker who was murdered in 2004 after making a film critical of Islamic society.

"It's not a threat, but it really is a likely outcome," Chesser told FoxNews.com from his home in Centreville, Va. "They're going to be basically on a list in the back of the minds of a large number of Muslims. It's just the reality."...

This is true. What he says is accurate.

Stomach-stapled beekeeper Honest Ibrahim Hooper, spokesman for the hate sponsors of un-indicted co-conspirator Council on American-Islamic Relations, characterized Revolution Muslim as a loosely-organized group with such outrageous beliefs he believes it may be a "setup" to smear Islam.

"They say wild and irresponsible things periodically," Hooper told FoxNews.com. "There's a strong suspicion that they're merely a setup to make Muslims and Islam look bad. They say such wild and crazy things that you have to wonder."

OMG. Hooper is renouncing Islam! Does Nihad Awad know? Do the jihadists know? There is nothing in Chesser's statement that counters Islamic teaching, but Hooper is changing the uncreated words of the Koran. And anyone who attempts to re-interpret or reform the words or teachings of Islam is a "hypocrite," which, like apostasy, is punishable by death. Is there a fatwa on Hooper's head? He better read those bus ads.

You have to love Hooper calling this cartoon jihad "a set-up." Has he blamed the Jews yet? Was the Danish cartoon jihad a set-up too?

Big fat liar.

Reached by FoxNews.com via e-mail on Thursday, Chesser said one of his goals in writing for the group is to "raise awareness of the correct understanding of key Islamic beliefs." But he also warned: "If you kill us, then we kill you."

"I seek to help the world understand that neither the Muslims in general nor the mujahideen including Al Qaeda are abject to peace, but that this peace come with the following conditions: a complete withdrawal of non-Muslim forces from Muslim lands, an ending of the propping up of the apartheid regime of Israel, and a ceasing of the propping up of the brutal dictators we currently have who refuse to rule by divine law," Chesser's e-mail read....

EXCLUSIVE: By all appearances, Zachary Adam Chesser was the boy next door. He played football and was on the crew team at one of the best high schools in the country. He even studied Japanese. He was hardly the sort of boy you'd expect would suggest on a radical Islamic website that the creators of the edgy cartoon series "South Park" will be targeted for death.

But Chesser also had a dark side. He was a "loner," a former classmate said, one who frequently drew pictures of Satanic figures in his notebooks and had just a few friends, most of them male.

"He was definitely sort of weird," the classmate told FoxNews.com. "He was very into violent industrial music, borderline Satanic bands and stuff like that. He had dark undertones in his interests."

Two years later, Chesser is literally a changed man. He now uses an alias and has a new set of hobbies. He now likes to be called Abu Talhah Al-Amrikee, and his primary interest in this world appears to be Islamic radicalism.

Last week, Chesser, 20, posted a warning on the website RevolutionMuslim.com following the 200th episode of "South Park," which included a caricature of the Prophet Muhammad disguised in a bear suit. The young man, who just two years ago was studying foreign languages at George Mason University, wrote on the site that Trey Parker and Matt Stone, the cartoon's creators, "will probably end up" like Theo van Gogh, a Dutch filmmaker who was murdered in 2004 after making a film critical of Islamic society.

"It's not a threat, but it really is a likely outcome," Chesser told FoxNews.com from his home in Centreville, Va. "They're going to be basically on a list in the back of the minds of a large number of Muslims. It's just the reality."...

True enough. The real tragedy here is that a rapidly declining number of non-Muslim Westerners seem willing to stand up to this thuggery. Instead, they appear all too willing to kowtow and give the jihadis what they want, as long as the jihadis don't hurt them -- even Bill O'Reilly was saying this the other day.

Ibrahim Hooper, a spokesman for the Council on American-Islamic Relations, characterized Revolution Muslim as a loosely-organized group with such outrageous beliefs he believes it may be a "setup" to smear Islam.

"They say wild and irresponsible things periodically," Hooper told FoxNews.com. "There's a strong suspicion that they're merely a setup to make Muslims and Islam look bad. They say such wild and crazy things that you have to wonder."

Sure. They're saying that those who insult Islam should be killed, which is standard Islamic teaching. Apparently Honest Ibe has never heard of this. Does Nihad Awad know that his partner is so ignorant of Islam?

Chesser, for his part, declined to indicate exactly what led him to join the group. A faculty member for George Mason University's Muslim Student Association said he had no knowledge of Chesser, who began attending the school in fall 2008 before dropping out in his second semester.

Reached by FoxNews.com via e-mail on Thursday, Chesser said one of his goals in writing for the group is to "raise awareness of the correct understanding of key Islamic beliefs." But he also warned: "If you kill us, then we kill you."

"I seek to help the world understand that neither the Muslims in general nor the mujahideen including Al Qaeda are abject to peace, but that this peace come with the following conditions: a complete withdrawal of non-Muslim forces from Muslim lands, an ending of the propping up of the apartheid regime of Israel, and a ceasing of the propping up of the brutal dictators we currently have who refuse to rule by divine law," Chesser's e-mail read....

Sounds like Obama's plan. The only catch is that even if the West did all those things, the jihad imperative to impose Sharia would still remain.

This is not the exception or exclusive to financial sector. I spoke with a number of long time funeral business employees who shared this with me.

 I worked in the cemetery/funeral industry for about 10 years.

The first place I saw this "Muslim Garden" with the Muslim low prices and NO interest - was  at Fred Hunters Funeral Home, Taft Steet, Hollywood Florida - (and their cemetery is called: Fred Hunter's - Hollywood Memorial Gardens).Back in 1998 muslims from a radical  Mosque  in Hollywood, Fl.  went to one of our people and "made a deal".

When the Muslims came and made the deal with Fred Hunters - Hollywood Memorial Gardens - they promised that they would buy - or their Mosque attendees would purchase a certain amount of burials. In exchange - Hunters gave them a very nice section of the garden - but trees and planted hedges around to keep it "separate" from the other burials. Anyway, what happened was - the Mosque never did buy what they were supposed to - however, it was a popular garden and the Mosque was so dishonest that they would purchase these funeral plans under their names- and then when there was a death - they would sell it at a profit to their members. It got so bad that we had to change the rules and rules then became that we REQUIRED when they made the pre- plan ( THESE PRICES AND INTEREST RATES FOR THE MUSLIMS is only valid when you buy it before a death - of course) that no one else could use the space/ lot except who was listed on the contract as beneficiary. Why? Because, they were selling them to others - making a profit and it was a mess. Let me add - that is something that is unheard of - having to put that much pressure on them - and never saw our company do something so harsh as to not let anyone else use the preplanned arrangement - but it was due to their tricks, lies and deceit.

One more thing - I wrote plenty of those contracts myself. It was pretty difficult due to the fact that the men that came in there did not want to deal with women but whoever is "on duty" for a certain day - would get to write the business.

Here's a funeral employee from Maryland.

In Sept 2001,  I interviewed at a cemetery in Falls Church Virginia and they had the special Muslim pricing program. In fact the cemetery I interviewed in Falls Church is a cemetery company called Service Corporation International. They are the largest cemetery/funeral home company in the world. (Google it). If you call some cemeteries - you could confirm the all of this. Just tell them you are Muslim and ask what the rates are for Muslims.

When I saw what was going on - I told my manager that one day the Attorney General was going to catch this discrimination and blow this out of the water - but it never happened. Instead, cemetery companies all over also gave Muslims these "deals" and adopted it - and truly - if you saw the price list for any cemetery company of what you and I or even the veterans pay - (which is the exact same merchandise ) and what the Muslims get and the fact they get NO INTEREST with 5 years to pay - it would just blow your mind. BTW - by law companies MUST give you a General Price List" if you sit down in their office or they come to your home and want to talk about this (unless they are a private type cemetery such as Queen of Heaven - which is run by the Archdiocese of Miami. (That cemetery is located in Lauderhill, Florida as well and I worked there from May 2007 to December 2007).

Again, as far as my knowledge goes - I have never heard anyone write about it. No one knows this is going on and it's a complete disgrace. I always wondered what the other families would think if they knew.

Please, call for yourself - pretend you are Muslim. I am sure that if SCI - Service Corp Intl.- is doing it - all their cemeteries where there are Muslims are doing it!!

One more thing I must tell you. As a 'Family Service Counselor' - I'd work in the office we would see families that needed to preplan but also see families that had a death. Part of my job was when it was time for the burial -I had to stand out by the graveside and oversee the burial to make sure things were done properly as well as be any assistance if the family had a need. Well, when a Muslim was buried - the Muslim would demand I leave (or any other woman that was a counselor) because " woman were NOT permitted at the graveside". It happened to me personally and it was a woman that was being buried. They made it almost impossible to do our job.

After Comedy Central cut a portion of a South Park episode following a death threat from a radical Muslim group, Seattle cartoonist Molly Norris wanted to counter the fear. She has declared May 20th "Everybody Draw Mohammed Day."

Norris told KIRO Radio's Dave Ross that cartoonists are meant to challenge the lines of political correctness. "That's a cartoonist's job, to be non-PC."

Producers of South Park said Thursday that Comedy Central removed a speech about intimidation and fear from their show after a radical Muslim group warned that they could be killed for insulting the Prophet Muhammad.

The group said it wasn't threatening South Park producers Trey Parker and Matt Stone, but it included a gruesome picture of Theo Van Gogh, a Dutch filmmaker killed by a Muslim extremist in 2004, and said the producers could meet the same fate. The website posted the addresses of Comedy Central's New York office and the California production studio where South Park is made.

"As a cartoonist I just felt so much passion about what had happened I wanted to kind of counter Comedy Central's message they sent about feeling afraid," Norris said.

Norris has asked other artists to submit drawings of any religious figure to be posted as part of Citizens Against Citizens Against Humor (CACAH) on May 20th.

But drawings of one "religious figure" in particular will provoke death threats and accusations of hatred and racism.

On her website Norris explains this is not meant to disrespect any religion, but rather meant to protect people's right to express themselves.

The Abysmal Failure of Tariq Ramadan's Propaganda Tour

The Bush administration denied Muslim scholar Tariq Ramadan a visa six years ago, forcing him to turn down a tenured position at the University of Notre Dame. Groups like the American Civil Liberties Union filed a lawsuit and fought successfully on his behalf. In January, Secretary of State Hillary Clinton revoked a ban, allowing the Swiss-born Ramadan and another Muslim scholar to visit the U.S. On his first trip back, Ramadan, now a professor at Oxford University, gave a keynote address this month at a fundraising dinner for the Chicago office of the Council on American-Islamic Relations. He also sat down with the Chicago Tribune.

Q: Why do you think you were banned from the United States?

A: I gave money to many organizations and two were blacklisted in the United States. (The Bush administration) said you gave the money so you should reasonably have known that these organizations were connected to Hamas, or allegedly connected to Hamas. The problem for (the Bush administration) was that they made a mistake because I gave the money between 1998 and 2002, before these organizations were blacklisted in the States, while they were never blacklisted in Europe where I lived. This was all a pretext for keeping me outside (the U.S.). It was an ideological exclusion. [...]

Note what he does not say. He doesn't say that he denounces Hamas, or that he didn't know the organizations were linked to Hamas. He says that he gave before the organizations were put on the list -- a narrow technicality that doesn't address any of the really important issues here regarding Ramadan's beliefs, loyalties, and allegiances.

Q: You've been criticized for double-speak, saying one thing to Muslim audiences and another to Western, non-Muslim audiences. Right-wing blogger Robert Spencer has called you a "stealth jihadist." Are you a stealth jihadist?

A: No. They all know that. These are people who have a problem with the Muslim presence. They are scared our presence in the West is going to change Western policies to something which is more open, for example, toward Palestinian rights, more critical toward the unilateral support of the States toward Israel.

Note the descriptor "right-wing blogger," which is simultaneously intended to impugn and diminish, setting up red flags for right-thinking liberal Trib readers. What is "right-wing" about standing up for the freedom of speech, freedom of conscience, and legal equality of all people? And while I am indeed a "blogger," I guess, even if I never write about my new lawnmower or the way I like my coffee, it is the one way to describe me that gives Trib readers no hint that I have written bestselling books, advised the FBI and Centcom, etc. This is nothing personal -- the point here is not that the Trib should have printed my resume or said nice things about me. The point is that this is just another example of the all-pervasive journalistic bias regarding reporting on the jihad: anyone who doesn't fit into the prevailing ideological straitjacket is demeaned and impugned.

The incident has now reached ministerial level.

On Friday, the Interior Minister requested the Immigration Minister look into revoking the French nationality of the driver’s husband as information he possessed showed the man was a polygamist married to four women with 12 children.

“Each of these women benefit from single parent benefits and … each one wears the full veil,” Interior Minister Brice Hortefeux said in the letter seen by Reuters, adding he had asked the local authorities to look into possible benefit fraud.

“I would appreciate it, should these factors prove true, if you could study whether this individual could be stripped of the French nationality,” Hortefeux said, addressing Immigration Minister Eric Besson.

According to the woman’s Algerian-born husband acquired French nationality in 1999.

The command to emigrate in Islam: Al-Hijra: The Islamic Doctrine of Immigration

Al-Hijra: The Islamic Doctrine of Immigration – Accepting Freedom or imposing Islam? By Sam Solomon & E Al Maqdisi

The Hijra: Little do they realize that this strategic pattern of demands is part of an insidious, 1,400-year-old proscription for Muslims that originates in the Koran and the Sunnah, the deeds of Mohammed. It is the Hijra or doctrine of immigration. Modeled by Mohammed's migration from Mecca to Medina, this immigration is not to a romanticized melting pot wherein newcomers gratefully search for opportunities for a better life in liberty and freely offer their talents and loyalty to benefit their new homeland. This is immigration for Islamic expansionism employing ethnic separatism to gain special status and privileges within the host country. Hijra is immigration designed to subvert and subdue non-Muslim societies and pave the way for eventual, total Islamization.

In their compelling book, "Modern Day Trojan Horse: The Islamic Doctrine of Immigration," authors Sam Solomon, a former professor of shari'ah law and convert to Christianity, and Elias Al Maqdisi, an expert on Islamic teachings, explain the migration of Muslims to the Dar-al-Harb, the "land of war," as a religious edict with a basis in Islamic doctrine. They delineate the step-by-step process of this 1,400-year-old strategy of conquest. It is a transitional strategy which they characterize as the most important step in spreading Islam and preparing for jihad. From their carefully delineated treatise on Hijra, it is clear that migration in concert with military conquest comprise the bookends of Islamic expansionism.

Solomon and Al Maqdisi review the phases of the Hijra and its juristic or legal basis in Islamic doctrine. Under the cover of taquiya or deception, the step-by-step methodology of the migration process is designed to subdue, then, subjugate the host culture, culminating in implementation of shari'ah law.

The beginning phase of Islamization usually includes activities pivotal to building a physical presence. It consists of public calls to prayer; founding of schools, libraries and research centers; and the teaching of Arabic -- actions that appear to be reasonable and respectable infrastructure requirements necessary to support the presence of a faith. At this point in the Hijra, it is permissible for Muslims to engage in haram, or forbidden actions, out of necessity to establish and empower the umma or Muslim community. Koranic rules such as the prohibition against friendships with infidels are suspended while the objectives of future Islamization are systematically put into place. In its initial phase, the Hijra passes scrutiny by the West whose citizens erroneously view the migration as mainly economic -- a pilgrimage for a better life.

Solomon and Maqdisi examine the comprehensive strategy that begins with the establishment of the umma or Muslim community. The mosque becomes the locus of power, a strategic base and the center of all activities. They explain how in this embryonic phase, a top priority is the scouting for new arrivals to expand and empower the existing Muslim community. Muslim leaders offer solicitous assistance and helpful suggestions for schools, housing, mosque worship, halal markets and other services to ingratiate themselves with new arrivals and bring them into the local Muslim community. Agents of local mosques, ever alert for new immigrants and potential converts, engage in subtle forms of indoctrination and police local Muslims.

Muslim Guilty of Plot to Bomb NYC on 911 Anniversary:"Your Honor, I would like to quote from the Qur’an"

If you close your eyes and listen to the jihadist convicted yesterday in his role in unleashing a bomb in the NYC subway system on the anniversary of the 911 Islamic attacks on America, you would swear it was Obama and his dhimmi administration talking: "I strongly urge the American people to stop supporting the war against Islam. And this will be in their own interest."

Ahmedzay's narrative reflects Obama's policy on Islamic jihad. He urges America to stop defending herself against the global jihad. Like Obama and his silly DoD Gates, he suggests that fighting jihad will only ...... create jihad. As for all of the jihadi attacks before Iraq and Afghanistan operations, well.... that's irrelevant, an inconvenient truth. The left never lets logic and evidence get in the way of their anti-American narrative.

The day this plot was foiled, Obama was in New York addressing the UN. His speech was about the greatest threat posed to man: global warming. I kid you not.

Obama's strategy to Islam is the very definition of Islam -- submission. His cover-up of the Fort Hood jihad massacre, the largest attack on a military base on American history, will go down in history as the most blatant act of subversion by a US president.

Like Obama points to Israel as the problem, this WMD would-be killer blames the zionists as well. No jihadist rant is complete without full-on Islamic Jew-hatred. Zarein Ahmedzay, the Muslim guilty of planning to bomb NYC on September 11th, said:

A June 1 hearing has been scheduled for the Waite Park man who admitted posting anti-Islam drawings at various locations in St. Cloud.

The hearing is an opportunity for Sidney Allen Elyea to dispute a civil charge that he violated a city ordinance prohibiting posting materials on fixtures. Elyea faces two civil charges that each carry a maximum fine of $250.

Elyea has admitted posting the drawings and said he did so to educate others about Islam. The city charged Elyea through the civil process after county attorneys in Benton and Stearns counties declined to file criminal charges of obscenity or defamation against him, saying that what he posted was protected speech.

So two county attorneys thought that Elyea was exercising his freedom of speech, and yet the city pressed forward with a case anyway. Why is that? Why are Muslims being set up in this country as a protected class that must not be criticized or offended? Who else enjoys such protection? Why, no one, of course. And no one should.

Elyea's attorney has echoed that opinion, adding previously that Elyea was protesting in a nonviolent manner and that the city's ordinance encourages arbitrary enforcement and is void because it's vague.

"Given what our Supreme Court has done to protect the right to free speech, it baffles me that the government has not dismissed this case," Attorney Ryan Garry said Friday. "The city attorney's office should be charging and citing residents for the crimes they commit, not for the opinions they have."...

The drawings that Elyea posted contained explicit depictions of bestiality and sodomy, contained images of the Prophet Muhammad in derogatory positions and contained pictures and words offensive to Muslims in particular.

One set of the drawings was found posted to a telephone pole outside a Somali-owned business in East St. Cloud. Other copies were found in other parts of the city.

So he may be a jerk. He may be a provocateur. He may be a lout. But is it illegal now to be those things, when a certain hypersensitive group is the recipient of the loutish behavior?

A church is facing being fined if it does not soundproof its bell tower to avoid upsetting its
"neighbours".

The bells at St Mary the Virgin have rung out for more than four centuries.

But since nearby flats were built in 2006, the church, in Leigh, Greater Manchester, the church has had to cut-back on its bell ringing practice after complaints from angry neighbours.

Rev Krinks said: "The issue is not the bells, it is the bellringing practice. The council has asked us to reduce the time of the ringing, which we have done, but that is still not good enough."

More anti-Christian bias, as a church is ordered to silence bells which have rung since the 1600's after complaints from nearby flat residents. Given the ethnicity of many of the neighbors in Manchester, the complaint is likely based on the fact that it's a church--not a mosque.

This is application of Islamic law. No church bells. There is a specific islamic law against church bells.

Once again, the Miami Herald libels SIOA, calling us an anti-Muslim group. Hardly. We are a Save America group. It is telling that anyone who fights for freedom and religious liberty is perceived as anti-Muslim.

Jaweed Kaleem seems to have a direct line to CAIR. He does their bidding like a dancing boy in Afghanistan. I laid out his unprofessional and biased conduct in my article yesterday published at the American Thinker.

Kaleem reluctantly contacted me over the past couple of days, insisting upon proof that the bus ads would be going back up. As if ........we were lying? The Volokh legal blog has confirmation from Miami Dade Transit -- but the Miami Herald couldn't get it.

Kaleem neglected to run any of my remarks previously, even though he had communicated with me  extensively prior. And he went on to quote at length a representative from CAIR, without bothering to get a response from Robert or myself -- which proves he's a tool.

The fact that Mr. Kaleem went directly to CAIR forces the question: was CAIR informed of this whole affair directly from Mr. Kaleem? If true, this suggests that Kaleem operated in this instance as a CAIR informant/agent?

Further, it is an astonishing fact that Kaleem and the Herald did not bother to inform Miami Herald readers that CAIR has been named as an unindicted co-conspirator in the largest terror financing trial in the history of the US (a trial which culminated in convictions) and the fact that the DOJ and the FBI have labeled CAIR as a Muslim Brotherhood-Hamas front group. These are not secrets. Anyone with Google would be inundated with the evidence. It is provable on concrete evidence. Yet Kaleem mentions none of it. 

Scum.

Further, notice that Kaleem mentions the additional 20 ads that will run, without mentioning that Miami Dade Transit gave them to us at less than half price, as recompense for their guilt.

Controversial anti-Muslim ads to be reinstalled on Miami-Dade buses

An anti-Muslim group's controversial ads -- removed last week from the exterior of county buses -- will be reinstalled the first week of May.

Ten controversial advertisements by an anti-Muslim group that were removed from Miami-Dade Transit buses after the department received complaints will go back up.

The ads, which a transit official said were pulled last week because they ``may be offensive,'' have the message ``Fatwa on your head? Is your community or family threatening you? Leaving Islam? Got questions? Get answers!'' and direct Muslims to a website urging them to leave the ``falsity of Islam.''

Transit spokesman Clinton Forbes said that, after reviewing the ads with the Miami-Dade County Attorney's office, the county decided that, ``although they may be considered offensive by some, they do not fall under the general guidelines that would warrant their removal.'' He added the county ``is not endorsing the message being presented.''

The ads, purchased by New York-based Stop the Islamization of America, will be reinstalled May 3, said Pamela Geller, the organization's director. Geller said CBS Outdoor, which contracts ad sales for county buses, will also run 20 additional ads.

``It was a violation of free speech that they were removed. Whether you like it or not, all ideas should be presented. It is dangerous not for all but some to leave Islam in America. This is a victory for free speech and religious liberty,'' Geller said.

Muhammed Malik, director of the South Florida chapter of the Council on American-Islamic relations, which had praised the ads' removal, said it will now use them ``as an opportunity to spark discussion about what Islam is really about.''

``Freedom and liberty are buzzwords they use as a smoke screen for their hatred,'' he said.

The religion-themed ads are not the first to cause a tussle. Last summer, a South Florida group's pro-atheism billboard in Fort Lauderdale sparked protest by Christians from nearby churches. In 2008, the Council on American-Islamic relations sponsored ads on 120 Miami-Dade and Broward buses that said ``Why Islam? Got Questions? Get Answers!'' and caused controversy because they called Islam ``the way of life of Adam, Noah, Abraham, Moses, Jesus and Muhammad.''

Both ads were allowed to stay up.

Zimbabwe, says Genocide Watch, is now poised for genocide. Reinforcing that assessment is the massive militarisation of all state, parastatal and NGO sectors.

Eight million people are starving in Zimbabwe, their plight deliberately engineered by Mugabe. In terms of Article Three of the Genocide Convention, conspiracy to commit genocide and complicity in genocide are acts that are punishable. One Small Fine for Muslima, One Giant Step For Mankind

The Islamic veil ban is taking hold across Europe, France being on the forefront of this anti-islamization parliamentary action. Of course, America is way behind the curve in this, because the islamization of Europe far outpaces the islamization of America -- the propaganda of jihadist deception (taqiya) is in full bloom here (CAIR leads that war in the informational battlespace). Belgium is expected to vote on a veil ban soon. France announced a couple of days ago that it would go ahead and ban the burka and niqab. French immigration minister Eric Bresson called the burka a "walking coffin." I think it's an apt description. This article also notes that the Netherlands may be the next country to announce a ban on burkas and minarets. That is, if Geert Wilders wins the election.

Driver wearing Islamic face veil fined in France Washington Post

NANTES, France -- A woman driver wearing an Islamic face veil has been fined by French police for not having a clear field of vision. The fine was small, but it garnered big attention Friday and may illustrate what is to come as the president pushes to outlaw the veils nationwide.

Traffic police in the western city of Nantes fined the 31-year-old woman euro22 ($29) in early April, her lawyer said. The fine was based on a rule that says drivers should have freedom of movement and a sufficient field of vision, lawyer Jean-Michel Pollono said.

Pollono said Friday that he is protesting the decision, saying a veil is no different from a motorcycle helmet in terms of hindrance to vision.

The driver gave a news conference Friday - while wearing the niqab veil, which covers the entire face except for the eyes - and expressed "a feeling of injustice" over the incident.

"I didn't commit any infraction," said the driver, who declined to give her name. "I see just as well as you ... I have driven like this for nine years. I've not had any problems."

The driver is French by nationality. The lawyer said she had never been stopped until now, after months of recent parliamentary discussion and government talk about possibly banning the veils.

President Nicolas Sarkozy raised the stakes Wednesday in France's drive to abolish the all-encompassing veil, ordering a draft law banning them in all public places. He insists the veils oppress women, and decided to defy France's highest administrative body, which says such a full ban could be found unconstitutional.

When the driver was stopped, the traffic police asked her to raise her veil to confirm her identity, and she complied, Pollono said.

"A French citizen cannot be fined based on the way he or she dresses," Pollono said. "If the veil is forbidden behind the wheel, then nuns should not be able to drive, and full helmets for motorcyclists should be banned, because you can't see on the sides, and even some police units who drive with masks should be fined."
