Danish newspapers write on their web pages that a Somali man has been shot down outside Kurt Westergaard's (the most famous of the Muhammad illustrators) home.

A young man is hit by bullets in arm and leg.
To jp.dk says the police chief on duty briefly,
"We can confirm that there has been an incident in East Jutland Police District, that we for the moment do not comment on."
The police does however inform that they shortly will be able to say more.
ASSAULT ALARM
According to Ritzau's news agency, the assault alarm of Kurt Westergaard's home was activated this evening. The first informations are that three men attempted to break in into the illustrator's home at 11pm (two hours ago).

Danish police stop attack on cartoonist
COPENHAGEN – Denmark's intelligence service says police have foiled an attempt to kill cartoonist Kurt Westergaard — the artist who drew cartoons depicting the Prophet Muhammad, causing outrage in the Muslim world.
Jakob Scharf, who heads the PET intelligence service, says a 28-year-old Somalia man was armed with an axe and a knive when he entered Westergaard's home in Aarhus.
Scharf says the attack was "terror related," adding the suspected assailant has close contacts to the Somali terrorist group, al-Shabaab.The Somali man was shot by police in the knee and the shoulder during the Friday attack. Preben Nielsen of the police in Aarhus, where the attack took place, said the suspect was seriously injured but his life was not in danger.
