"Kill Jews": Incitement to Genocide in Brooklyn

Karen Guilbert found a score of slips of paper reading “Kill Jews” during her morning walk on Wednesday — the second time she’s found such a cache of hate in the past two months.

Just for knowing -- there is a large Muslim population in these parts of Brooklyn.

Another Sick Call to "Kill Jews"

In a stunning display of intolerance, Sixth Avenue in Park Slope was littered with strips of papers reading “KILL JEWS” in capital letters from Fourth to Ninth streets on Wednesday.

Nearly two dozen of the strips were picked up by Karen Guilbert, who had just finished walking her daughter to school.

“It’s so ignorant and hateful,” said Guilbert, who picked up a handful of the same slips back in October. “There are hundreds of kids that walk up and down this street.”

Before she turned the slips over to the police, Guilbert played amateur detective by turning the strips over and piecing them together. All that emerged was that the slips had been cut from a document from a taxi driving school. Yet there were no addresses or phone numbers on the strips that offered any further clues.

“Someone is trying to be a taxi driver,” Guilbert nervously joked. “I sure hope I don’t end up in his car.”

An officer from the 78th Precinct turned the notes over to the NYPD’s Hate Crimes Unit, but the department offered no comment.

Most unsettling, this is not the first time the craven Anti-Semitic litterer has struck.

In addition to Guilbert’s Halloween discovery, last September, the same notes turned up in Bay Ridge, Boerum Hill and Clinton Hill.

To top it off, vandals struck two synagogues in Brooklyn Heights in 2007 and left the same message on car windshields.

UPDATE: From a Brooklyn resident - clearly aware of what is happening:

These realities predate my arrival in Park Slope over 27 years ago although they have deteriorated considerably over the past decade with the increasing number of overtly religious families.  I think the first time I observed veiled women was in the late 80's; it is now ubiquitous even among elementary school children.  I stopped patronizing stores and restaurants on Atlantic Avenue very quickly after a series of unpleasant events in the 1980's and have been told in some establishments unveiled women are persona non grata.  I have made public comments to several women about their "sartorial" styles being inappropriate.  Needless to say my liberal friends are aghast.  I and  my siblings are married to Jewish spouses and I, like you, am horrified at the inability of so many to comprehend these realities. Perhaps personal heroics may not be mandatory but the support of politicians who do not find it necessary to respond with caveat or multi cult platitudes would be an encouraging start. The Muslim "mole" and/or  "useful idiot" who currently occupies our WH manifestly does not meet this criteria.

 

I have become acquainted with a large number of middle eastern Christians in the area who are fluent in various arabic dialects and who harbor very unfavorable views about the infiltration of Islam into our society.  One is the proprietor of a shop who told me after 9/11 of the vicious diatribes which characterise commentary in arab press and the sanitized translations for foreign consumption.  They are terribly disturbed by the lack of political will prevalent in the West in the face of this existential challenge as they lived through the destruction of Beirut and its cosmopolitan lifestyle.  Due to the political temper of this extremely liberal/progressive community I am one of very few they openly speak to.  They have also been victimized by ugly confrontations by muslims; one very young woman had to be forcefully removed.  

I am unsurprised that these degenerates have moved into the vacuum of "non-resistance" offered by altogether too many in the Jewish community and institutions i.e. the disgraceful Abe Foxman,  and political left.  Just as Ayn Rand describes in Atlas, "blank out" is the reaction syndrome when discussing these issues. They cannot believe it is possible for another purge and/or genocide to occur  even though it is daily fodder in reports about the pogroms of islam in areas the world over and the flaccid acceptance of an encroaching shariah in Old europe.  I have told my daughter since she indicated historical awareness in the event of trouble to immediately go to Israel.  I do not think she finds this advice as odd as she did years ago.  My deceased first husband would from time to time say he was living in a "galactic lunatic asylum"  I now know what he meant.
